‘Drink some gaumutra shots too’: TMC MP Mahua Moitra speaks the language of Pulwama terrorist to mock the BJP Govt

Ahead of her Lok Sabha speech today, TMC MP Mahua Moitra took to Twitter today make the ‘gaumutra’ jibe to mock the Modi government.

Tagging the wrong handle to address the BJP, Mahua Moitra tweeted: “Am speaking this evening in Lok Sabha on President’s Address. Just wanted to give early heads up to @BJP to get heckler team ready & read up on imaginary points of order. Drink some gaumutra shots too.”

The ‘gaumutra’ jibe has been used by Islamists and their apologists, including the Pulwama terrorist Ahmed Dhar who had said he killed the CRPF soldiers to kill those who ‘drink cow urine’, to mock Indians, especially Hindus. Two days after President Ram Nath Kovind spelt out the agendas, Lok Sabha is holding a discussion on the motion of thanks on the President’s address.

Mahua Moitra a repeat offender

Moitra has not once but many times exposed her Hindu hatred by using the slur liberally on multiple occasions. Last year, she created a new controversy by calling India the ‘Susu Potty Republic’. Then too, she had used the cow urine jibe to attack the central government.

TMC MP Mahua Mitra’s 2021 Tweet

“Welcome to our Susu Potty Republic! Drink cow urine, sprinkle dung and flush the rule of law in the toilet,” Moitra had tweeted drawing the ire of many users on social media.

She has an old habit hurling derogatory and regionalist jibes at her opponents. In July last year, BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey has accused Moitra of calling him a “Bihari Goonda” thrice.

Dubey had taken to Twitter accusing Moitra of displaying her hatred for Hindi speaking people and North Indians. Dubey wrote, “Trinamool @AITCofficial has abused the entire Hindi speaking people along with Bihar by using the word Bihari Gunda.”

Likewise, in the month of March last year, the TMC MP had insulted Hindu Gods when she tweeted: “So Yogi CM comes to WB today, says he will kill “TMC goondas” one by one. Gudduji – listen up – your thok do culture may work in the vanar sena commune you ruled, doesn’t work here.”

With her Tweet, Moitra insulted the vanar sena, or monkey army, that accompanied Lord Rama and his brother Lakshman on their journey to Lanka and also played a significant role in defeating Ravan’s massive army. Moitra not only insulted the vanar sena but also Hindus who revere the army of monkeys for supporting Lord Rama in his search for his kidnapped wife. Hindus idolise the army of monkeys, particularly its leader, Lord Hanuman, who is recognised as Lord Rama’s supreme devotee and is worshipped as a god.

Moitra’s Hindu bigotry does not end here. In the same month, in yet another Tweet, the TMC MP had referred to BJP leader Giriraj Singh as “Chotiwala Rakshas”. To explain the meaning of this phrase, “Chotiwalas” refers to devout Brahmin observers of Hinduism who follow the Shikha tradition of Brahmins, and a “Rakshasha” which literally translates to monsters.

Hinduphobic Gaumutra jibe is language of terrorists

Gaumutra’ jibe is often used by Islamist terrorists before attacking Indians, especially Hindus. In 2019, a Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Muhammad terrorist in a suicide attack had killed as many as 40 CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, Kashmir. Following the attack, a video was released in which the terrorist could be heard saying he wanted to punish and kill the ‘cow urine drinkers’ in the name of Allah. The terrorist identified as Adil Ahmed Dar alias Waqas was seen admitting that he had joined the Jaish-e-Mohammad a year ago. In the video, he had referred to Indians as “Gae ka Peshab Peene Wale” (People who drink cow urine).

Ex-VP Hamid Ansari being probed for connections to terrorist-linked org, is also accused of putting Islam before India, says India’s top diplomat

Former Vice President of India Hamid Ansari is being heavily criticized for his remarks during an online event organized by Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC). During an interview with Citti, one of India’s top diplomats, Ambassador Deepak Vohra, said Ansari is under investigation for his connections to terrorist-linked organizations and anti-India forces.

Intelligence agencies warned GoI about Ansari’s pro-Islamism priorities, says Vohra

Vohra said that when Ansari was Vice President, several intelligence agencies had warned the then-government of India that his priorities and preferences were not pro-India but pro-Islamism. He said, “He seems to have greater loyalty to our neighbours which is at the moment in terrible conditions than he did to his own country, and he took the oath to uphold whatever knowledge that came to him during his capacity as Vice President and earlier as Ambassador.”

He further talked about how Ansari betrayed India’s intelligence officers in Iran, and when their family members begged him to intervene to get them released, he declined to act. He said, “So when he pilloried India on a terrorist-linked virtual platform, it is quite clear that he has connections that are now being probed, and I hope as soon as the results of this investigation come out, I hope that Shri Ansari will get his justice served.”

When asked if Ansari’s actions can qualify for treason or even sedation, Vohra said India does not have a system to dismiss a serving official. Ansari was India’s No 2 citizen for ten years, and “We remove the person we suspect of not being totally loyal to India. We might even persecute or prosecute him at a later stage. But we have never actually dismissed a serving official, a serving leader of that category.”

‘Ansari’s loyalty towards his religion exceeded his loyalty to the country.’

He added, “I am told that his closest aides when he was vice president were people from the minority communities. That is his choice. He could decide who he wanted to have work for him, but the message he was giving across and all of us knew this particularly of us in the foreign services that for him his loyalty to his religion far exceeded to his loyalty to his country.”

Vohra was Ansari’s colleague in the Indian Foreign Service and served together in the national capital but never on assignments overseas. He said, “Ansari belongs to the category of trustbusters. He might hate the democratically elected Prime Minister of India. Why does he despise the people of India and insult the Indian renaissance.”

He mentioned IACR gets funds from dubious sources and has been linked to Pakistan’s Intelligence Agency (ISI) buy the Tripura government by the affidavit submitted by the Tripura government in the Supreme Court about recent communal violence. “By participating in this, you have demolished your status and damaged the Muslim community in India,” he added.

Vohra said Ansari was aware his participation in the event would cause controversy. He said, “Shri Ansari knew his participation would be controversial. He was urged by several, including in the Indian Foreign Service, to reconsider his decision. He did not. Someone even commented that not making it to the top spot in India caused him immense heartburn.”

Vohra said the track record of the organizers is well known. They gave a platform to Ansari to abuse the Indian government. He further pointed out the fact that When Ansari was venting out in IACR’s event, doctors at a super speciality hospital in New Delhi saved the life of a 12-year-old Iraqi boy who was born with a congenital defect resulting in abnormal growth of kidneys and ureters. He said, “No one asked this boy he is an Iraqi. His name is Ali. About his religion. This is the strength of India which Ansari does not seem to understand,” he said.

Biden administration refuses to endorse Rahul Gandhi’s ‘BJP govt brought China-Pak together’ tirade

In a major embarrassment to Congress leader and Gandhi-scion Rahul Gandhi, the United States has refused to endorse his recent remarks against the Modi government, alleging that the centre has brought the country’s two hostile neighbours – China and Pakistan together.

Speaking in the Parliament on Wednesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had launched a tirade against the foreign policy of the Modi government, claiming that the Union government has committed a crime of bringing China and Pakistan together.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, the Joe Biden administration said that the United States would not endorse such comments.

To a question on Rahul Gandhi suggesting that China and Pakistan are closer than ever due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ineffective foreign policies, US Department of State Spokesperson Ned Price said, “I will leave it to Pakistanis and PRC to speak to their relationship”.

“I certainly won’t endorse those remarks,” he added.

On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi participated in the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s Address. In his speech, he had claimed, “China has a plan. The Chinese have a very clear vision of what they want to do. The single biggest strategic goal of India’s foreign policy has been to keep Pakistan and China separate. What you (Centre) have done is, you have brought them together.”

He claimed that the Modi government’s foreign policy has made India isolated and claimed that New Delhi was unable to get a guest on Republic Day.

He had said that India is completely isolated and surrounded, adding that China has a clear-cut plan which they have implemented in Doklam and Ladakh.

US department cautions Pakistan

Interestingly, in the press briefing, the US State Department also cautioned Pakistan over its “partnership” with China.

Speaking to the media, Ned Price added, “We’ve made the point all along that it is not a requirement for any country around the world to choose between the United States and China.”

He added that the United States has provided choices to countries when it comes to what the relationship with the United States looks like and added that the partnership with the United States conveys a series of advantages that countries typically would not find when it comes to the sorts of partnerships that China has sought to have around the world.

“Pakistan is a strategic partner of the United States. We have an important relationship with the government in Islamabad, and it’s a relationship that we value across a number of fronts,” he added.

CNN President Jeff Zucker resigns over an ‘undisclosed consensual relationship’ with a colleague

CNN president Jeff Zucker has stepped down from the network after failing to disclose a “consensual relationship” with a senior executive.

According to the reports, the 56-year-old Zucker said that he is resigning from the post effective immediately. In a memo to colleagues, the CNN boss said that he was “wrong” to not report the relationship as required.

The secret relationship with a colleague was discovered during an investigation into the conduct of fired CNN anchor Christopher C. Cuomo. Cuomo is being investigated over efforts to help his politician brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, to defend against sexual harassment allegations.

CNN had fired its top anchor Christopher C. Cuomo over his involvement in the brother’s defence in sexual harassment scandal.

Zucker, who is considered one of the most powerful media personalities in the US, said that he had worked with the colleague for over 20 years and that the relationship had “evolved in recent years”.

“I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t,” he said, adding, “I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today.”

The letter written by Zucker did not identify the colleague with whom he had a relationship. However, according to reports, it is being alleged that Zucker had a secret relationship with Allison Gollust, the network’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

“Jeff and I have been close friends and professional partners for over 20 years,” Gollust said in a statement. “Recently, our relationship changed during Covid. I regret that we didn’t disclose it at the right time,” she said in a statement.

In 2012, Gollust was appointed as communicators director for Andrew Cuomo. She joined CNN the following year after only four months in that role. In her statement, Gollust added that she intends to stay at the network.

Gujarat: Muslim youth in Surat’s Limbayat caught with a country made pistol, police probing ‘love jihad’ angle

A Muslim youth named Yasin Sheikh Qureshi in Surat’s Limbayat was caught with a country made pistol. While the police are investigating for a grooming jihad angle in this case, Qureshi is suspected to be involved in another similar crime in the past as well. This arrest comes just days after the Kishan Bharwad murder case which took serious turns, as the investigations revealed a big Jihadi racket behind the same.

According to a report by Zee 24 Kalak, on a tip-off, Surat City Crime Branch arrested Qureshi with a country made pistol and three live cartridges in the Limbayat area of Surat city. The police have arrested the youth and are seeking remand for more information. Investigation revealed that Yasin Qureshi was doing chicken business in Surat city.

The Crime Branch team is probing whether Yasin Qureshi has been involved in any crime before. He was living with a Hindu girl and the police are investigating in that direction. In the police investigation, it was also revealed that Yasin Sheikh had helped his friend Sohail take away a Hindu girl near Segwa in Madhya Pradesh. A case was also registered against him in Madhya Pradesh.

It is notable that in Dhandhuka near Ahmedabad, a Hindu youth Kishan Bharwad was murdered in broad daylight for allegedly posting so-called blasphemous content on social media. The investigations, in this case, have revealed a larger conspiracy as maulanas with a history of giving problematic speeches against Hindus have been found to be involved. The connections of this Jihad network are also found to be linked with a Pakistani Islamist organization that works in association with Tahrik-E-Labbaik – a major political party in Pakistan.

Gujarat: Waqf board gets stay on demolition of illegal madarsa after Surat Municipal Corporation fails to update records on time

Surat Municipal Corporation may lose second property to Waqf Board in just three months because of what appears to be a case of sheer negligence to update the records. Waqf Board has got stay on the demolition of illegal madarsa build on Surat Municipal Corporation land because the district administration reportedly did not update records on time.

As per local media reports, in ward no 3, city survey no 4936 and 4939 a madarsa in the name of Anwar-e-Rabbani Talim-ul-Islam is operational. Since long it has been disputed that it is built illegally on the land owned by Surat Municipal Corporation. Hence earlier, to demolish the same, the district administration had asked for police bandobast as well. However, owing to the dispute between the Waqf and trustees on the madarsa registered with the Waqf board, the police force was not arranged for.

Sources close to the development say that the representatives of the Surat Mahanagarpalika have not even bothered to appear before the court during the hearings.

As per the information obtained by zone officer, in the city survey records from 1969, this land was private property while as per the Palika town planning, this land belonged to the government. Hence, the central zone had said that back then, the private property was taken over by the corporation from town planning office but the same records were not updated in the Municipal Corporation books.

For the matter, the administration has now sought an answer from the waqf board and have given them time till 16-17 February to respond. The department has said that the first floor of the madarsa is illegal and local activists have demanded that the same be demolished.

The notice for demolition was issued on 29th December 2021. However, now that Gujarat State Waqf Board has moved tribunal court, the status quo on it would be maintained till Surat Palika gives appropriate response on the same. Madarsa is there on the land since past 60 years. Palika wants to demolish the madarsa constructed illegally and make a parking spot over it.

This is second property owned by Surat Municipal Corporation which it may lose to waqf board in just three months, mostly due to lack of updated records.

Earlier in November 2021, the Surat Municipal Corporation headquarters at Muglisara had been declared waqf property. The board had claimed that during Mughal rule of Shah Jahan, his daughter Jahanara Begum owned Surat and her confidante Ishaqbail Yazdi alias Haqiqat Khan constructed the building back in 1644 and named it Humayun Sarai. It was reportedly donated for Haj pilgrims to rest.

Waqf Board had claimed that since the property was donated by a Muslim ruler as a waqf property, the purpose does not change and hence the corporation building will be part of the waqf board. Board had cited Sharia and Supreme Court judgement to claim that ‘once a waqf property, always a waqf property’.
