On Sunday (October 31), India highlighted that achieving its climate goals is dependent on its inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers’ Group (NSG) that has been held hostage by China, reported The Times of India. The country emphasised the need for the availability of technology towards meeting the “Common but Differentiated Responsibilities and Respective Capabilities (CBDR-RC)” that were laid down during the G20 meeting on climate action in Italy.
While speaking about the matter, India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal stated, “This is something that will have to be decided in terms of types of technologies that will be available for climate transition. For example, for our technology to be replaced from coal to, maybe, nuclear, we will need large amounts of capital for setting up nuclear power plants, both to replace our current demand, and for our future demand that our development imperative requires. We will need to be a member of the Nuclear Suppliers’ Group for adequate availability of raw material for nuclear supply and several other associated concerns around the cost of power.”
India has taken an ‘assertive stance’ in the face of pressure put down by the developed Western nations on all countries to adopt a net zero emission target. Piyush Goyal informed that the onus lay on developed countries that have borne the fruits of low-cost energy for several years. He added that for developing countries to achieve net zero carbon emission targets, the developed nations have to move faster and make net negative space for them. Goyal emphasised the importance of technological availability for developing nations to reach sustainable climate change goals.
India also put pressure on the developed nations to provide $100 billion annually through 2025 and not later than 2023 to help achieve these goals. It laid emphasis on mobilising capital for supporting green initiatives and sustainable development. In line with PM Modi’s vision to promote sustainable lifestyle choices, Piyush Goyal informed, “For the first time, G20 has identified sustainable and responsible consumption and production, along with the provision of finance and technology as ‘critical enablers’ for achieving climate goals of keeping 1.5 degrees within reach.”
Between 2014 and 2019, India has become a member of all the key anti-nuclear, biological and chemical weapons proliferation groups like the Australia Group, Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and the Wassenaar Arrangement (WA) except for Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), where India’s admission is opposed by China at the behest of Pakistan. NSG rules suggest that a new member can be admitted only if all the members mutually agree. Even if one member opposes, the new member can’t be admitted. China is using this clause to its advantage for stalling India’s admission, where all other members of NSG are positive about India’s admission to the NSG.

Earlier, on October 27, judge Gurwinder Singh Malhotra heading the NIA court had convicted Haider Ali alias Black Beauty, Noman Ansari, Mohammed Mujibullah Ansari, Mohammed Imtiaz Alam, Ahmed Hussain, Mohammed Firoze Aslam, Imtiaz Ansari, Mohammed Iftiqar Alam and Azharuddin Qureshi of the banned terrorist outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM). One Fakruddin was not convicted due to a lack of evidence.

The court had posted the case for hearing on November 1 to pronounce the quantum of punishment for the convicts.
During Narendra Modi’s Hunkar rally at Gandhi Maidan in October 2013, Indian Mujahideen terrorists had carried out a plan to assassinate Modi. Six massive blasts shook the jam-packed area ahead of Modi’s arrival. The incident resulted in the deaths of six individuals and the injuries of 83 more. Despite the terror incident, the BJP leaders had calmed the crowd and Modi had addressed a rally that drew a gathering of over three lakh people.
Another massive explosion occurred inside a bathroom on platform 10 of the Patna train station, killing a major suspect, 25-year-old Tariq Ansari alias Enul. The dead was one of numerous Indian Mujahideen trainees who had travelled from Ranchi to Patna with explosives in order to kill Modi.
On November 6, 2013, the Lucknow branch of the NIA took over the investigation. The probe revealed Indian Muhaideen had set up its modules in Ranchi.
Online store brand for furniture and home decor, Pepperfry, has asked people to “forget crackers” during Diwali. Instead, their advise for people was to “Make your home sparkle this Diwali with amazing food, games and beautiful furniture!”
Source: Twitter
Hindus haven’t been taking such sermons kindly this festive season and consequently, Pepperfry too had to suffer the wrath of people online. They said that such constant messaging by brands has gotten irritating at this point.
You could have just promoted your product without indulging in what we should not do …such social messaging grand-stand is now getting irritating. https://t.co/iMl1BQHSb8
Another woke corporate trying to teach people how to go about celebrating there festivals. @jsaideepak said it right, corporate are coming up to fill the spaces created by sanatani guru’s less interaction with their people and hence creating a space for someone to teach/dictate. https://t.co/Mc2eHrNC1A
Multiple brands have been forced to withdraw their ads this festive season for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. First it was Fabindia that had to withdraw its ‘Jashn-e-Riwaz’ collection, then there was Sabyasachi that had to withdraw its ad on Mangalsutra.
However, Pepperfry does not appear to be bothered by such incidents and has decided to ask people to forget crackers during Diwali.
The Supreme Court of India has set aside the order of the Calcutta High Court imposing a complete ban on firecrackers in the state of West Bengal. On October 29th, the Calcutta High Court had ordered a complete ban on all kinds of firecrackers throughout the state of West Bengal during the upcoming festivals including Diwali, Kali Puja, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. The court had said that only wax or oil-based diyas can be used, and banned all firecrackers including green firecrackers which are allowed by the SC and the NGT.
The High Court had ordered the complete ban saying that there is no mechanism to check whether firecrackers sold in shops are green firecrackers or not, and therefore went on to ban such green firecrackers as well.
Hearing a petition filed by the firecracker manufacturers, the Supreme Court found fault with this argument by the High Court. Moreover, the petitioners also stated that the matter of mechanism to verify green firecrackers was never raised during the hearing in the Calcutta High Court. The petitioners had also pointed out various orders by Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal to argue that the complete ban is wrong.
The Supreme Court bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Ajay Rastogi agreed with the petitioners that while the High Court cites practical difficulties in allowing green firecrackers, no such difficulties are mentioned in the order. The court stated that the High Court should have given opportunities to the authorities to place on record if any mechanism was in place to ensure that only “green crackers” are being used. But the court issued the order without hearing about the mechanisms to identify green firecrackers, and the problems associated with them.
Calling the High Court order ‘extreme’, the apex court said, “we are convinced that Calcutta High Court should have called upon parties to give explanation before passing such an extreme order.”
West Bengal govt also contested the claim that there are difficulties in identifying allowed fireworks. Representing the state, senior advocate Anand Grover said that they are following the Supreme Court order allowing green firecrackers, and the cops do this using a mobile app. He informed the court that firecrackers are verified by scanning the QR cores printed on them, and several persons are arrested every year for selling fake green firecrackers which are identified using this method. He said that there is an unfounded apprehension by the Calcutta HC on this matter.
There cannot be complete ban on firecrackers. Strengthen mechanism to supervise and implement: Supreme Court
The apex court that there cannot be a complete ban on firecrackers, which it had already said on 29th October in a different case, and asked the authorities to strengthen mechanism to supervise and implement its orders. The apex court said that it is setting aside the high court order, and allowed anyone to approach the high court on the basis of any material or record.
The court added that the regime introduced by the NGT in respect of manufacture and sale of firecrackers will have to be followed by all, and to depart from it, some extreme position has to be pointed out, like inaction or collusion of the govt. The order said that at present Pollution Control Board have said that authorities are taking action, and in case of any inaction, appropriate action will be taken.
The court further ordered West Bengal govt to ensure that no banned crackers are imported into the state, and asked to strengthen the mechanism.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has slammed Akhilesh Yadav for glorifying Jinnah and said that the SP Chief’s comparison of Sardar Parel to Jinnah was shameful. While speaking at an event in Moradabad, CM Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi Party for the glorification of the founder of Pakistan who had spearheaded India’s partition.
Yogi said, ‘Was listening to Samajwadi Party Chief’s statement yesterday, he was comparing Jinnah to the person who united this country, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Brothers and sisters, this is an absolute shameful statement, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the artist of India’s unity and integrity’ while Jinnah divided India into two.
CM Yogi further said that Akhilesh Yadav’s divisive mindset was revealed when he compared Jinnah to Sardar Patel. He said, “This kind of divisive mindset will not be accepted by the people of India”. He added, “This is Talibani mindset which always believes in dividing people, first he had tried to separate the social Talibans (radicals) on different grounds and when his every intention to create divide failed, he started insulting great men”.
CM Yogi also claimed that various opposition leaders in Uttar Pradesh were in home isolation during the Covid crisis in the state and said, ‘Far from helping the poor, those people did not even visit the families of their own party workers who died.
Earlier, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav had glorified and praised Muhammad Ali Jinnah in a party rally during the Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra. At Hardoi district in UP, Akhilesh Yadav also compared the founder of Pakistan and the architect of the Indian partition, Muhammad Ali Jinnah to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Not even 24 hours since Elle India posted a Hinduphobic cartoon, the fashion magazine has now deleted it from their social media platforms after receiving a huge backlash.
Elle on Sunday had posted a cartoon by one Lord_VoldeMaut depicting ‘saffron-clad goons’ shutting shops of brands like Tanishq and Fabindia. The cartoon also depicted a man in an orange gamcha (stole) beating a meat seller sporting a skull cap (presumably for selling beef).

The Hinduphobic cartoon was to support their article written by Ruman Baig in defence of brands like Fabindia and Tanishq. Interestingly, the magazine had picked up the cartoon off the internet without the artist’s consent.
The 19-year-old artist who has been allegedly receiving threats for his artwork has deleted his social media accounts. The claim was shared by an anonymous social media user on Twitter who did not provide any proof of the so-called attacks.
Update shared by an anonymous handle
Interestingly, this is not the first time that the artist had put up anti-Hindu content on Twitter and Instagram.
Netizens had reacted sharply to Elle’s biased and communal portrayal of the issue.
Elle comes out in support of Fabindia
In yet another attempt to demonize Hindu sentiments, Elle in its ‘sarcastic’ post had written, “It’s the recurring season where Indian fashion labels are schooled on how to creatively incorporate religion while designing their campaigns. Last year, @tanishqjewellery received a non-violent lesson on how to showcase jewellery without meddling with the ancient Hindu-Muslim narrative. Recently, @fabindiaofficial released and pulled down a Diwali campaign titled – Jashn-e-Riwaz.”
“Little did they know that the term means long-live Muslims in Urdu and is a secret ode to the Mughals. The fashion fraternity must learn how to not let their imaginations run free – a salwar for a Muslim woman is set in stone, and so is a bindi for a Hindu lady,” the post concluded.
From Tanishq to Manyawar to Fabindia, the author left no stone unturned to prove how the “intolerant” Hindus have been attacking businesses resulting in ‘economic losses.’
While the magazine has taken down the cartoon, the ‘sarcastic’ writeup continues to feature on their website.
About a year ago, I remember liberals on Twitter widely sharing and praising a video of Audrey Truschke, where she apparently ‘destroys an entire bhakt rant with 4 simple words.’ She was speaking at some event, when a guy, evidently a Hindutva supporter from the audience, confronted her. With mike in hand and an opportunity to speak in public, he unloaded angrily on her. He gave her a piece of his mind, on everything from twisting Indian history to being a white person interfering with our affairs.
It didn’t work. Audrey was completely cool. She pointed out her credentials as a trained historian. She added smoothly that it must be that Hindutva supporters cannot bear to hear strong opinions from a woman. Leave aside for a moment what you think of the two people speaking in the video and the arguments from their respective ideological camps. There is no doubt that Audrey won the argument just by staying calm and choosing the right keywords. The guy who confronted her was angry, inexperienced in public speaking, and let his emotions get the better of him.
I had written a blog post about this at the time, noting that Hindutva supporters often fall short of choosing the right words (no pun intended) for the modern audience. This is deeply ironic since Hindutva is fundamentally a movement for the emancipation of a community that has been oppressed for one thousand years. In the modern world, victimhood is the most sought after commodity. And nobody has as much of it as Hindus do. We just lack the tools (i.e., right words) needed to exploit it. And yet, the modern world has labelled us as historical oppressors rather than victims. It’s like people having to line up for bread in Venezuela, the country with the world’s largest oil reserves. I had added that the day Hindus learn to speak woke (i.e., pick up the right tools), we will become the highest moral authority on earth.
That day hasn’t quite arrived, though Hindus are getting better at using their tools. Why do you suppose liberals fight so hard to deny representation to Hindus on every forum? They know that with practice, Hindus will easily learn the tricks of the trade. Give that man from the audience five years of experience with public speaking and he will get the better of Truschke easily.
But this post is not about what Truschke said a year ago. Instead, it is about an amusing turn of events that I did not anticipate in the whole Audrey Truschke affair. Get a load of this. (By the way, I’m stealing these screenshots from around the web. You see, Truschke blocks people a lot because she can’t handle criticism).
Audrey Truschke tweet
And it gets ‘better.’
Audrey Truschke tweet
Don’t get too provoked by these tweets. Because Audrey Truschke has cooked her own goose now. She did this to herself. She took a wrecking ball to her own intellect. This is what hatred does to people.
Why am I saying this? Because we already won the argument. Do you really need to persuade any Indian that these tweets are wrong and filled with hatred against Hindus? No, the swastika in India is an ancient Hindu symbol and everyone knows that. There is nothing ‘ambiguous’ about it. And Truschke here is trying to shift the Overton Window of international opinion on this. First, a generation of liberal historians slyly translated the German ‘Hakenkreuz into ‘swastika’ to open this window. Now, folks like Truschke are working on this opening, gradually making it bigger. Now she tries to alter the status of the Hindu swastika from an ancient religious symbol to an ‘ambiguous but mostly positive.’ What will they claim in ten years? Literally every Hindu who sees this tweet will figure it out easily.
And what happens when you show them the tweet that describes Indian revolutionaries as Hindu terrorists? You don’t have to argue with anyone over this. Every Indian will be furious if someone refers to people like Chandrasekhar Azad, Khudiram Bose or Ramprasad Bismil as terrorists. And that too Hindu terrorists! That’s when every Indian will agree with you that this person simply hates Hindus.
So, by all means, give widespread publicity to tweets like this from her. Show them to everyone you can. And when they are outraged, be sure to tell them that Audrey Truschke is a hero of Indian liberalism. Make sure you highlight this part as much as possible. Make sure you give people links to all the articles in mainstream liberal news portals praising Audrey Truschke.
You did it, Audrey. You made everyone hate you.
Did you notice that the big liberal portals, who generally follow closely behind her, wagging their tails and picking up her mess, have been silent on her latest outburst? They are silent because they are strategic. They know that her latest outburst is a public relations disaster. So what should the Hindutva supporters do now? Give as much publicity as possible to all the liberals who have aided and abetted Audrey Truschke. Make sure everyone knows that she is a start for the Indian liberal intelligentsia. Get them all to share in the blame.
Audrey Truschke is the new Arund***i Roy. That person has done more to make Indian liberalism an object of hatred and ridicule than any Hindutva supporter. At some point, the baton had to pass to someone new.
In retrospect, I should have seen this coming. Her mental degeneration was already evident when she tried to blame Hindutva for the riots at Capitol Hill. In fact, she was crazy enough to declare publicly that she was going to teach this in her course at Rutgers University. All this is based on a social media rumour that turned out to be totally false. What kind of person does something so radically foolish? Someone whose brain has turned to mush because of all the hatred that she has stockpiled against Hindus.
If I remember correctly, Audrey Truschke burst onto the Indian intellectual (political) scene around 2015 or 2016, with her book on Aurangzeb. The Communist historians had left Aurangzeb alone, believing he was far too despised. But if every other Muslim emperor can be airbrushed, why not Aurangzeb as well? This was her big idea. She spent the next few years adroitly, fielding questions and deflecting criticism. Most professional historians already hate Hindus, so they were supportive anyway. In other words, her peers would never ask anything. And a common person trying to confront her would always be at a structural disadvantage in the argument. Because she is a professional historian. Imagine trying to win a legal argument with a trained lawyer, no matter how fair your case is.
What Audrey perhaps did not realize was that too much hatred was frying her brain. Each time her liberal friends applauded her propaganda, they egged her on to more and more ridiculous things. Now she has driven herself straight into a ditch. The job of the Hindutva supporters is to make sure every liberal follows her into that ditch. We must hold every liberal accountable for every word that Truschke says now. They loved her, they anointed her as an intellectual giant, and now they must own up to her words.
So what is Indian liberalism? Indian liberalism is now the ideology that calls Khudiram Bose a Hindu terrorist. Everyone who identifies as an Indian liberal must now own up to this. We are quoting your favorite historian. Don’t blame us. Remember how Indian liberals held PM Modi personally accountable for some drunk guy throwing a stone at a church in Navi Mumbai? Well, let’s make sure that every Indian liberal is held accountable for the words of their favorite historian.
One final word. Given all sorts of twisted incentives there, perhaps Audrey Truschke will benefit from the attention, whether positive or negative. I have come across Hindutva supporters who act as if that’s a problem. But if you ask me, who cares? So what if Truschke makes a little bit on the side while becoming the number one tool to discredit Indian liberalism?
Netizens have reacted sharply to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s video where she can be seen throwing away ‘Charnamrit’ (holy water offered in Hindu temples) meant for consumption during her visit to Goa’s famous Mangueshi temple.
Banerjee was on a three-day visit to strengthen Trinamool Congress’ presence in Goa just ahead of the state assembly elections. As per her schedule, she had visited the famous Mangueshi Shiva temple on Friday.
In a video capturing Banerjee’s visit to the temple, she can be seen spilling the Charnamrit on the floor offered by the priest of the temple. At the end of the video clip, the priest can be seen being surprised by the act, trying to stop the Chief Minister from spilling the holy water on the floor.
How many of us throw or sprinkle chraynamarat prasad on ground?
Ms Mamta Bannerji if you don’t understand hindu traditions please don’t mock them. pic.twitter.com/ciV5pimSqp
Every Hindu who visits the temples regularly adheres to the common practice of touching the water to the forehead and then consuming it, when offered by the priest.
However, Banerjee was seen doing none and instead was caught on camera throwing it on the floor.
Netizens react
Several social media users questioned Banerjee’s intent to throw the holy water in a bid to avoid consuming it.
“Not mocking: She accepted in hand to woo 55%, Sprinkled or threw to appease 45% that’s politics. And if not controlled would become a pandemic soon,” noted a Twitter user.

“People of Abrahamic faiths do not consume Prasadam from deity. Just visiting a temple doesn’t make anyone a Hindu, which Mamata is clearly not,” alleged another social media user.

Reacting to the insult by Banerjee, another user said, “She did this in one of the holiest temples of our community the Mangueshi Temple. Terrible Feeling. For us our temples are sacrosanct and we didn’t allow our temples to be treated badly even during the Portuguese Inquisition.”

As per Deccan Herald, state BJP spokesperson Siddharth Kunkolienkar also reacted sharply to Banerjee’s insult to Hindu sentiments.
A local news site claimed that the BJP is attacking Mamata over an edited video and shared the uncut, complete video of the Temple visit. However, the uncut video only further showed how the Bengal CM had indeed thrown the Charnamrit on the floor.
As several states gear up for assembly elections, from Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Mamata Banerjee, several from the ‘secular opposition’ can be seen on a temple run to woo Hindu voters.
On November 1, the enquiry committee formed by Bathinda based Baba Farid Group of Institutions revoked an earlier order, asking four students from Bihar to leave the hostel. The students had allegedly opposed some Kashmiri students for celebrating Pakistan’s win over India in the T20 World Cup match on October 24.
Via sources.
The new order by the committee reads, “The enquiry committee of Baba Farid Group of Institutions held a detailed enquiry regarding interim order issued on dated 30.10.2021.
It has been found that there was no brawl of students or any incident. Keeping in view the findings of the enquiry committee, the committee revoked the earlier interim order in the connection bearing no. BFGI/684 to 687/BH/2021, dated 30.10.2021.”
The order was signed by two of the students who were asked to leave and the Deputy Director of BFGI.
Contradiction over dates of the incident
There is a contradiction over the date of the alleged incident that took place in the boys’ hostel of Baba Farid Groups of Institute, Bathinda. While the students have claimed that they have been served notice of evacuation based on the incident that happened after the India-Pakistan T20 match on October 24, the earlier order dated 30th October issued by the institute ordering the four students to leave the hostel says that the incident also happened on 30th October.
Reports by some media houses including Indian Express claims that the action was taken against the students based on the alleged incident that had happened after the Afghanistan-Pakistan T20 world cup match, which was on October 29. The IE report says, “After Pak vs Afg Match, 4 students from Bihar tried to harass Kashmiri students and tried to assault. The hostel warden even saw the CCTV footage to ascertain the facts, revealed information. Later they were shunted out from the hostel.” Although it is possible that the fight took place after midnight after the Pakistan-Afghanistan match ended on 29th night, and that’s why the institute says it happened on 30th, the students have denied the reports of any brawl on Friday night.
The IE report further states that the two groups were reportedly at loggerheads with each other since the India-Pakistan cricket match on October 24, however, nothing untoward had happened after that match. But the simmering tensions flared up after Pakistan’s match with Afghanistan on 29th, which led to an investigation by the institute. Reportedly, CCTV footage had shown that the four students had harassed the Kashmiri students and tried to assault them. But now the latest order issued by BFGI says no brawl took place on that day and cancelled the earlier order.
BFGI had ordered four Bihari students to leave the boys hostel
On October 30, four students of BFGI hailing from Bihar were ordered by the hostel warden to vacate the hostel with immediate effect. It was alleged that there was a fight between the two groups after a cricket match at the T20 world cup, and the Bihari students had assaulted the pro-Pakistan Kashmiri students. The notice issued by the hostel warden found its way to the social media networks.
The institution faced severe criticism for taking action against the students who had raised their voices against the Kashmiri students that were celebrating Pakistan’s win against India and allegedly raising anti-India slogans. No action was taken against Kashmiri students.
OpIndia had contacted the hostel warden, who denied knowledge of any such order after repeatedly saying that he could not talk about the matter. The Chairman of the institution was unreachable. OpIndia again called the warden on Monday to ask if he would like to share the details over the matter, but his phone was unanswered.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has decided to go full ‘Woke’ in a new training manual for teachers that was released recently. The document titled ‘Inclusion of Transgender Children in School Education: Concerns and Roadmap’ was published by the Department of Gender Studies at NCERT.
The objective of the training manual is the “sensitization of teachers and teacher educators regarding aspects of gender diversity keeping gender-nonconforming and transgender children at centre stage.”
In a section of the document that discusses issues related to infrastructure, it says that toilets are used to brainwash children into believing that there are only two sexes, men and women. The document says, “The use of toilet , an infrastructural facility, is used to condition children into binary gender; female children are conditioned to use the toilets labeled ‘girls’ and male children are to use the toilet marked for ‘boys’.”
Source: NCERT Training Manual
The document adds, “Children, who face gender dysphoria, feel conflict/dilemma while choosing the toilet that they feel comfortable. This is mainly because their self-concept and social expectations of their body do not coincide with each other. Therefore, presence of binaries in infrastructure also creates conflicts for gender nonconforming children who find it difficult to make a choice; at such a young age, it is an emotionally charged decision that additionally burdens them.”
In its ‘Introduction’ section, the document blames ‘Caste patriarchy’ for stigma against the transgender community. It is in addition to the unfounded claims that there were multiple genders in the Vedic age. It states, “There is evidence for diverse genders and gender expression being socially accepted in the subcontinent since the Vedic age (Vanita and Kidwai, 2000; Michelraj, 2015). However, the dominant social system of caste patriarchy in India had relegated transgender persons to occupations that are stigmatized.”
Source: NCERT Training Manual
“The fall in status of transgender persons was induced systematically under British rule in the form of punishment and the regulated movement of the transgender groups who lived in India during that time. British colonialism criminalized transgender persons and consolidated this process by categorizing transgender persons as a Criminal tribe under the Criminal Tribes Act, 1871,” it adds.
The document also mentions that in February 2020, only 25 transgender students had registered for the Class X and Class XII exams. 19 of 18,89,878 students registered for Class X exams were transgender and that number was 6 from 12,06,893 for Class XII.
The document recommends “Discontinuance of Binary practices in school, classrooms, activities, sports etc.” It says, “Separate rows for boys and girls during assembly, school functions, seating arrangements in classrooms; gender wise separate uniforms, working groups for assignments, excursions, etc., should be discontinued. Mixed groups should be allowed, gender neutral uniforms can be introduced, etc.”
Source: NCERT Training Manual
The document also calls for ‘support mechanisms’ for the ‘correct use of pronouns’.
Source: NCERT Training Manual
The training manual also appears to lend its support for puberty blockers, medication that has gained widespread notoriety in recent times. The medicines are used to block the development of puberty in children which permanently alters their natural course of development.

Netizens are not pleased with NCERT going ‘Woke’
The NCERT training manual is receiving intense backlash from users on social media. They are not happy with the NCERT importing disastrous American concepts in India.
Other fear that it will have a disastrous impact on Indian education.
The one thing India always had great was great educational foundation making it easy for our ppl to pursue STEM overseas in traditional ICSE/SSC methods. Now ruin that too … https://t.co/X3bXLYh15d
Disaster unfolding in front of our eyes. Instead of teaching Sanskrit, Shashtras & our culture; Gender Fluidity is priority of NCERT. What is HRD Minister doing ??♂️ https://t.co/T9seTAejM4
The beauty of this change is it immediately makes you long for the days when the government would brag they didn’t change one line in our books https://t.co/ewW4tw04y0
Quite clearly, the suggestions and recommendations by the NCERT do not have popular support. There have been intense efforts in the West to indoctrinate children into the gender identity ideology, which is receiving intense pushback. It appears that the same is being imported in India without any due consideration by ideological zealots.
