Punjab: Kejriwal has autorickshaw ride and accepts dinner invite, turns out auto driver is AAP worker

On November 22, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had dinner at an auto driver’s house in Ludhiana. As per his story, the auto driver had invited him for dinner, and Bhagwant Mann and Harpal Singh Cheema accompanied the Delhi CM. The alleged feel-good story being run by AAP’s leadership has a twist, though. According to Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar, the auto driver, identified as Dilip Kumar Tiwari, has been associated with Aam Aadmi Party for a long time.

As per the Bhaskar report, Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, elder brother of the auto driver, is a long time member of AAP and has been attending party’s programs regularly. Dilip also attends these programs with his elder brother.

A carefully made video of the entire incident, with emotional background music and special effects, was shared by AAP’s social media handles, showing how the Delhi CM accepted the impromptu invite by a ‘common man’ auto driver for dinner.

Kejriwal was invited by Dilip during a meeting organized by the Punjab unit of Aam Aadmi Party at Punjab Bhawan, Ludhiana. At the meeting, while praising Kejriwal for the work he has done for the auto drivers, Dilip invited him for dinner at his house that Delhi CM ‘graciously’ accepted. He asked if he could bring Bhagwant Mann and Harpal Singh Cheema along, to which Dilip agreed and requested him to travel in his auto to the house.

Kejriwal praised the food.

After having the meal at Dilip’s house, Kejriwal praised the food and said it was the same as he likes, without chillies. The reports suggest after getting photographs clicked with the family members, Kejriwal and his team left in the Innova Crysta vehicle donning Delhi number that was, interestingly, already parked outside Dilip’s house before Kejriwal arrived.

The meeting with auto-taxi unions

AAP had called leaders and members of several auto and taxi unions for the meeting in Ludhiana. Reportedly, a large number of auto and taxi drivers had reached for the meeting. They presented the problems in front of the Delhi CM and alleged they were harassed by the RTA, Traffic Police and Punjab Police personnel in Punjab. They further complained government departments impose challan worth thousands of rupees on them. Kejriwal appealed to the auto drivers to put up party’s posters on their autos to help AAP come into power and promised he would resolve all the issues they have been facing in the state.

Channi also wooing auto drivers in Punjab

As the assembly elections are approaching quickly in the state, the political parties have started to gear up for campaigning. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi also met auto drivers in Ludhiana on Monday and had a conversation over tea with them. He promised the auto drivers that his government would issue new registration certificates and waive off pending challans. The Punjab state Assembly elections are scheduled for early 2022. Former CM Capt Amrinder Singh has already disowned Congress and formed a new party.

There are speculations that he might join hands with Bharatiya Janata Party. Long alley of BJP in the state, Shiromani Akali Dal had snapped ties with the party last year after Agriculture laws were enacted. SAD has formed an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party to contest elections in the state.

Indian Railways withdraws saffron attire of staff on Ramayan special trains after controversy

0

After Hindu saints objected to the saffron dress of the waiters of the Ramayana Express train, IRCTC has changed the dress of the service staff to a professional attire and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

Earlier, the waiters were dressed in saffron resembling ‘Sadhus’ which faced opposition from the Hindu saints community. Saints from Ujjain had raised objections to the saffron attire of the waiters where they were dressed like sadhus. A video that went viral on social media showed the waiters of the train wearing saffron clothes, dhoti, turban and rudraksh garland. The waiters were even seen serving food to the people dressed as saints and picking up people’s leftover utensils.

The saints wrote a letter to the Railway Minister and warned that if the saffron dress of the waiters was not changed, they will stop the train and oppose the next trip.

Notably, the deluxe AC tourist train, Ramayana Circuit Special is meant for the journey to all the religious places associated with Lord Shri Ram. The train has been designed in a very special way with two dining coaches and comfortable chair-tables installed in AC coaches. A separate toilet with arrangement for bathing has also been made. The next trip of the Ramayana Express train is on 12th December.

LBGT activists dox ‘Harry Potter’ author JK Rowling for not towing their line on ‘gender identity’: Here is what happened

On Monday (November 22), British author JK Rowling took to Twitter to narrate how she and her family were doxxed by LGBT activists for not buying their ‘socio-political concept of gender identity.’

The Hary Potter-fame-author informed that 3 LGBT activists deliberately clicked pictures of themselves outside her residence such that the address was visible in those photographs. The activists then uploaded the pictures on Twitter, thereby leaving Rowling and her family vulnerable to attacks. The incident took place on Friday (November 19).

While thanking her followers for reporting the images to Twitter moderation, she wrote, “Your kindness and decency made all the difference to my family and me. I’d also like to thank Scotland Police for their support and assistance in this matter.” She asked her supporters to delete any of the contentious images, which highlighted the address of her house.

“I implore those people who retweeted the image with the address still visible, even if they did so in condemnation of these people’s actions, to delete it,” Rowling added.

The best-selling author recounted the experiences of other underprivileged women, who have been the subject of vicious social media campaigns, intimidatory tactics and threats of assault including rape.

“Over the last few years, I’ve watched, appalled, as women like Allison Bailey, Raquel Sanchez, Marion Miller, Rosie Duffield, Joanna Cherry, Julie Bindel, Rosa Freedman, Kathleen Stock and many, many others, including women who have no public profile but who’ve contacted me to relate their experiences, have been subject to campaigns of intimidation which range from being hounded on social media, the targeting of their employers, all the way up to doxing and direct threats of violence, including rape,” JK Rowling pointed out.

She conceded that the women, whom she had mentioned in her tweets, were not in a protective environment, unlike her. JK Rowling lamented, “They and their families have been put into a state of fear and distress for no other reason than that they refuse to uncritically accept that the socio-political concept of gender identity should replace that of sex.”

She had identified the Twitter accounts of the 3 LGBT activists, who went by the usernames of @IAmGeorgiaFrost, @hollywstars and @Richard_Energy. At the time of writing, the Twitter accounts of all the three activists stood deleted.

While addressing a tweet directly at the three accused that doxxed her address, JK Rowling said “They should have reflected on the fact that I’ve now received so many death threats I could paper the house with them, and I haven’t stopped speaking out.”

She concluded, “Perhaps – and I’m just throwing this out there – the best way to prove your movement isn’t a threat to women, is to stop stalking, harassing and threatening us.”

LGBT activist had no qualms about doxxing JK Rowling

One of the LGBT activists named Holly Stars (@hollywstars), who was named by JK Rowling for doxxing her address, had shown no remorse for her actions. The activist instead claimed to be a victim of transphobic attacks on Twitter.

In a tweet that has now been deleted, Holly Stars tweeted, “Yesterday, we posted a picture we took at JK Rowling’s house. While we stand by the photo, since posting it, we have received an overwhelming amount of serious and threatening transphobic messages so have decided to take the photo down. Love to our trans siblings.”

JK Rowling slammed for saying biological sex is real and only women can menstruate

Earlier in June 2020, the world-renowned author attracted the wrath of the LGBT Community for stating that biological sex was real. J.K. Rowling had expressed her unhappiness over the fact that the headline of an opinion piece, published on a media portal, addressed women as ‘people who menstruate.’ Despite her perfectly sensible opinion, abuses were hurled at her. She was labelled a Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist (TERF). TERFs reject the claims that ‘trans-women’, who are biologically men, are actually women.

‘Covid does not exist’, ‘BJP has brought the virus to India’: Samajwadi Party leader makes bizarre claims on India Today’s ‘Lallantop’

Speaking in a chat show, Lallantop Adda, hosted by ‘Lallantop’ editor Saurabh Dwivedi in Meerut on November 20, a Samajwadi party youth leader was heard saying that the Covid pathogen is nothing but a brainchild of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The SP leader named Neha, sitting between the panel of invitees, said she firmly believes that the virus does not exist and it’s a hype created by the BJP.

In one of the most bizarre and logic-defying arguments in recent memories, the SP leader, at around 49 minutes into the show, is heard saying, “BJP Covid lekar aayenge. Jab jab chunav aayega tab tab covid aayega” (BJP will bring Covid. Whenever elections will approach, they will bring Covid).”

Almost twenty months after the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic, that has until today claimed the lives of as many as 51.5 lakh people worldwide, the SP leader, eccentrically, went on to accuse BJP of creating and bringing the pathogen to the country.

Flabberghasted by her theory, the editor of left-leaning digital news media ‘Lallantop’, Saurabh Dwivedi asked the SP leader to reiterate her stand. Extremely confident about her hypothesis, the SP leader repeated: “Yes, absolutely, it has indeed been brought in by BJP. Whenever elections have been held, Covid has been there. Be it the Bihar polls or the recent Pardhan elections or the Zila panchayat elections in Bihar…”

She added that she is convinced that Covid is nothing but an election campaign narrative peddled by the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Intrigued by the remark, Saurabh Dwivedi asked the SP leader to further explain how BJP has brought the virus. To prove her point, the Samajwadi Party leader confidently questioned the journalist, “Why this pandemic was not there when other parties were in power? The current viral fever is being caused by dengue, but that when elections approach, it will be again caused by Covid.”

Not being able to comprehend the outlandish explanations, the Lallantop journalist asked her again to elaborate on how then, so many Covid cases have been reported worldwide. The SP leader here said that she does not know about the rest of the world, but in India, Covid has been definitely brought by the Bhartiya Janta Party.

Interestingly, Saurabh Dwivedi, the disciple of ‘journalist’ Rajdeep Sardesai – perhaps one of India’s biggest fake news peddlers – has always been focused on criticising the BJP, as has his mentor. During this particular show, however, Dwivedi was also left scratching his head by the bizarre arguments given by the Samajwadi Party politician in her attempt to malign the BJP.

Was the fake news about ‘Panisagar mosque arson’ an attempt to grab land? New details emerge

Following the protest march conducted by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) against the anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh on October 26, fake news stories about the burning of a mosque in Panisagar began to do the rounds of the internet. Misleading videos alleging arson attacks on mosques, burning of the Quran and atrocities on Muslims went viral on social media. The misinformation was then weaponised by Islamist groups to create mayhem in several districts of Maharashtra such as Nanded, Amaravati and Malegaon.

One of the fake news stories, which gained the most traction, was the burning of a mosque in Panisagar. Even though the Tripura police had shared images of an undamaged Rowa Bazaar mosque, the usual suspects began claiming that one CRPF mosque was targeted by the VHP. The New Indian sent a team to ground zero and found that the alleged mosque was neither burnt nor had been operational for the past 15 years. The said mosque is located near the Regional College of Physical Education in the Panisagar sub-division of North Tripura.

While speaking to The New Indian, a local temple priest named Vidhubhushan Nath informed, “Earlier there was a CRPF camp here. There were 2 Muslim officers at the CRPF camp. It was 15 years ago. Now, no one comes here at this place.” He confirmed that the CRPF mosque had been non-functional after a man had allegedly died there two years ago. Another local named Debashish Dey had also denied any arson attack on the abandoned building. He added that no Muslim lived in the neighbourhood. Dey also urged The New Indian team to inspect for any charred or burnt items in the mosque premises.

“I did not even know that there was a masjid here and that it had been burnt. We know that nothing has happened here. But, there are people who are spreading ‘gujob‘ (rumours) about arson attack,” stated an e-rickshaw driver named Diban Deb Nath. He and Debashish Dey clarified that they were not associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) or the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Complainant caught off-guard when quizzed about delay in FIR

The New Indian had reached out to a Muslim man named Abdul Basit, who alleged that the CRPF mosque was burnt on October 21, 2021. However, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered only on November 11 i.e. 20 days after the alleged attack. On being confronted about the delay in reporting the matter to the police, he claimed that he tried to approach the police on October 23. This is despite the fact that the FIR contradicted his claims.

In the First Information Report, Basit Ali said that the delay was the result of consultation and forming a consensus with members of the masjid committee. He had tried to dodge several questions posed by The New Indian team but maintained that a copy of the Quran was burnt.

Accusation of land grabbing against Abdul Basit, mosque built on government land

BP Chakraborty, the senior SP (North Tripura) had informed that a mosque and a Debasthan temple was constructed by the CRPF contingent, which was stationed in Panisagar 10-15 years ago. Prior to their departure, the mosque was handed over to the local Muslims while the temple was handed over to the local Hindu community. The New Indian team unearthed that the land on which the temple and the mosque are constructed is under dispute.

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Panisagar had written letters to several people between 2019 and 2021, highlighting that both the religious structures were unauthorised and eligible for relocation/removal. The Panisagar police are now investigating whether Basit Ali and his family fabricated stories of arson attacks to stake his claim on the land of the mosque.

Tripura police had rubbished fake news about mosque being burnt in Panisagar

Last month, the Tripura police responded to viral videos and news related to the alleged vandalism of a mosque in Panisagar during a protest march in the State. Tripura Police had categorically denied any such incident took place and said that an FIR against the viral fake posts on social media platforms.

The cops also said that certain persons are spreading fake news and rumour on Tripura by using fake social media IDs. The police added that pictures being shared of burning or damaged mosques or collections of sticks etc are all fake and are not from Tripura. Over a hundred Twitter accounts were booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) for spreading misinformation regarding the violence at Panisagar.

Banned outfit Sikhs for Justice offers $125,000 for unfurling Khalistani flag at Parliament on the first day of the winter session

0

Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), the banned Khalistan organisation, has offered a sum of 125,000 US Dollars to the farmers to raise the Khalistani flag at the Parliament on November 29, 2021, the day when the seventh session of the seventeenth Lok Sabha commences.

According to a report by Zee News, in a video message from Geneva, SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said, “While Bhagat Singh bombed the Parliament during the campaign for India’s independence, we are asking farmers to raise Khalistan flags for the independence of Punjab”.

The announcement came three days after the central government decided to repeal the 3 farm laws that were passed for the benefit of the farmers, ostensibly due to the security threat that farmer demonstrations have posed to citizens.

Protests had swept Punjab after the Modi government announced three new bills for the agriculture industry. Since the passage of the bills, the farmers, inflamed by the state government, have laid blockades on railway tracks and highways to mark their protest against the bills.

SFJ announces rewards to promote their Khalistani agenda

During the span of these so-called protests, the hardline pro-Khalistan group has made several attempts to infiltrate the ongoing protests in the capital and has made shocking proposals in the form of incentives in order to promote their Khalistani agenda.

In January, it announced a reward of $350,000 to the protestors who hoisted a Khalistani flag at the Red Fort on Republic Day. Ahead of Republic Day, the SFJ had announced a cash reward of USD 2,50,000 for hoisting the Khalistan flag on January 26 at the India Gate on Republic Day.

The SFJ had also called for a siege of Parliament on Budget Day, February 1, in an attempt to push protesters into engaging in anti-national activities.

How Khalistani supporters hijacked the farmers protests

Innumerable reports have emerged in the past that prove how Khalistani supporters had hijacked the so-called farmers protests. On January 12, the central government had told the Supreme Court that they have credible input from the Intelligence Bureau that there is a presence of Khalistani supporters in the farmers’ protest.

Khalistan sympathizer Deep Sidhu, who was seen among the mob who attacked the Red Fort and hoisted different flags in place of the Tricolour on the 72nd Republic Day, has reportedly been named by the police in an FIR lodged in connection with the violent protests of the Republic Day.

Moreover, several pro-Khalistani slogans were raised during the protests. In several instances, banners of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, the Khalistani terrorist, were also held during the protests.

And, as more and more details have emerged that point towards the possible interference of pro-Khalistan elements to hijack these farmer protests, the shady role of the SFJ has become more and more profound.

A few Khalistani terror sympathisers disguised as farmers were caught gloating over the assassination of the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who also threatened PM Modi with a similar fate if their demands went unfulfilled.

It is important to note that the Khalistan organisation SFJ, funded by Pakistan, had earlier declared a grant of $1 million for farmers in Punjab and Haryana in lieu of their support for Khalistan. On 23rd September, it was reported that the SFJ had attempted to capitalise on the ongoing protests by farmers and had declared that it would distribute $1 million among farmers who had defaulted on agricultural loans.

Arvind Kejriwal promises monthly allowance of 1000 rupees for Punjab women before elections

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a bid to woo the woman’s vote in Punjab has announced a monthly allowance of thousand rupees to every adult woman in Punjab.

He said, “If we form govt in Punjab in 2022, then we will give every woman of the state, who is above 18 years of age, Rs 1000 per month. If a family has 3 female members then each will get Rs 1000. This’ll be the world’s biggest women empowerment program.”

Arvind Kejriwal has arrived in Moga, Punjab on Monday to kickstart his ‘Mission Punjab’ ahead of the Punjab assembly elections.

Delhi CM said that there was a duplicate Kejriwal in town referring to Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and said, ‘There is a fake Kejriwal roaming around. Whatever I promise in Punjab, he does the same after 2 days. He does no work, he is a fake,’ adding ‘There is only one person capable of making the electricity bill in Punjab zero. That person is Kejriwal’.

Kejriwal also noted, ‘I announced Mohalla Clinics in Punjab. Fake Kejriwal said the same thing but didn’t make even one. I will be meeting auto unions, this was planned 10 days in advance, but he went today. Darna accha hai (It’s good to be afraid).’

Okhla: Chand Alam brutally hacks co-worker Jharna to death with a pair of scissors, was angry with her friendship with a colleague

0

The Delhi police on Sunday, November 21 arrested one Chand Alam for assaulting and killing a co-worker in southeast Delhi’s Okhla Industrial Area, reports The Indian Express. The deceased was identified as a 37-year-old Hindu woman named Jharna who worked in the same cloth factory in Faridabad where the accused was employed.

It was reported that accused Chand Alam, who was already married, was infuriated with Jharna’s friendship with another co-worker named Suraj. On Saturday, when the victim, who lived near Okhla, was walking home after work, Chand Alam dragged her on the road, took her to a railway godown and stabbed her multiple times with a scissor.

The police said that during the interrogation, the accused had confessed to hacking the deceased to death. He had said that that the incident was a fallout of an argument the two had inside the factory during Diwali after he suspected that the woman was cheating on him.

The incident, said the police, occurred around 5 pm on Saturday, November 20. When Jharna, reportedly, left the factory after completing her shift, Chand Alam followed her. He waylaid her outside the railway line in Okhla. The two got into an argument, and in a fit of rage, Chand Alam hit Jharna.

The police said that many people were present there when Chand Alam assaulted Jharna but none of the bystanders came to Jharna’s rescue. Chand Alam then dragged the victim to a railway godown nearby. He took out a scissor from Jharna’s bag and stabbed her multiple times in the neck. Police said that it is suspected that the woman was stabbed at least 8-10 times in the neck.

The woman started bleeding profusely and fell to the ground. Seeing it as an opportunity, Chand Alam fled the crime scene. Meanwhile, when Jharna did not return home from work, her husband and kin filed a missing report on Sunday morning, after which the police started investigating the case.

“The woman did not return home. Her husband and parents approached us and we started looking for her. Meanwhile, locals spotted the woman’s body inside the godown. She was later identified and a murder case was registered. We checked CCTVs in the area and found Chand walking around the area,” said a senior police officer, adding that he was apprehended from the spot.

The Big Tech propaganda on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial: Why India should be wary of social media giants furthering ‘liberal’ agenda

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial centered around self-defense and gun rights was one of the most discussed cases in the USA. But don’t move on yet, it is very relevant to India as it is the biggest expose yet of how a global nexus of big tech, fact checkers, activists and media will go to ANY extent to further the liberal political agenda. First let us see what the case was about.

The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

Just before US elections, cities after cities were burning in riots in America over the issue of racism, mainly alleged police brutality towards black people. A similar incident took place in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which led to calls of protests, which as a rule turned violent. Some local people took to the streets in counter protests to save local businesses by dousing fires. They were legally armed. 17 year old Kyle Rittenhouse was one among them.

To cut the long story short, he got separated from the main group, got into a confrontation with rioters and ended up shooting three people, two fatally. He was quickly termed a white supremacist terrorist and arrested. He was subsequently cleared of any criminal acts by a Court in Wisconsin last week and is now a free man.

Now let us see how a case of self-defense was turned into a case of racism, white supremacy, illegal weapons, gun control, domestic terrorism and everything else. This is what Americans have been hearing about Kyle nonstop from liberal US media.

It is only a short clip but the same talking points, now proven false, were repeated over and over again by liberal US media. This was then amplified by American versions of Dhruv Rathees, Vir Das type comedians, Swara Bhaskers, Islamists, professional feminists, professional LGBT activists, propped up ‘student leaders’, you name it.

The Media Lies

Here are six demonstrably false claims that liberal US media peddled but turned out to be false:

“Rittenhouse crossed state boundary with a weapon”
Truth: He did not, the gun was kept in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

“Rittenhouse had no right to possess the weapon”
Truth: It was perfectly legal under Wisconsin law, the charge was dismissed by the Judge.

“Rittenhouse went to a city he had no business with”
Truth:
His father lives in Kenosha and Kyle worked and occasionally stayed there.

“Rittenhouse shot BLM protesters out of racist motives”
Truth: Every person he shot was white and had a criminal record. One of them was a convicted pedophile.

“Rittenhouse shot to kill”
Truth: He shot in self-defense and he was acquitted by court. All of this is on video.

As per toolkit, ‘fact checkers’, who ‘fact-check’ memes often, only spread more lies in defense of the riots. As per toolkit, social media censored news and blocked anyone who dared to disagree with the liberal ecosystem, even if it meant more riots and bloodshed. People were censored on Twitter for merely saying “Rittenhouse did nothing wrong”.

Censored by Twitter

GoFundMe had banned Rittenhouse from holding fundraisers to fund his defense in Court. While the platform claimed that it was because the teenager was accused of a violent crime, the excuse does not ring true as multiple Antifa rioters have successfully raised funds through the platform.

Facebook manipulated its search engine so that people could not even find relevant search results when they looked for Kyle Rittenhouse on the platform. In the aftermath of the incident, Facebook had said, “We’ve designated the shooting in Kenosha a mass murder and are removing posts in support of the shooter.” One can see how dangerous this is. Facebook labeled a teenager a mass murderer before he was even tried in Court and without any evidence at all.

You can see the parallels of all of this in India, be it Shaheen Bagh, Delhi Riots, Hathras, Farmer’s protest etc. How facts and truth can be totally twisted to influence and instigate sections of population with the explicit objective of furthering liberal political goals.

How ‘fact checkers’ act as enablers of fake news and create ‘facts’ as needed. How random individuals are propped up as heroes and anyone speaking the truth is vilified and suppressed. How an entire global ecosystem starts a tune in chorus as if it is part of a fine tuned orchestra. Why we need courts that work, work on actual cases and not moralizing and in a timely manner.

More importantly, this tells us what is in store for 2024 general elections in India and that we should prepare mentally and materially to defeat subversion of our democracy by global leftist neo-liberal imperialists.

Bihar: Violence over shortage of ‘Chowmein’ in Tilak ceremony, brothers brutally attacked

0

A Tilak ceremony ended up in brutal violence in Bihar’s Gopalganj. As per reports, angry guests assaulted two brothers with sticks and knives after the stock of Chowmein at the stall ran out.

As per reports, the two brothers were admitted to the Sadar Hospital Gopalganj after the attack. The incident occurred near Rasulpur Village on Saturday, 20 November. The village comes under the jurisdiction of the Vijaypur police station. The police have started investigating the incident.

Reportedly, on Saturday night, some guests were invited to one Rajesh Yadav’s house for a Tilak ceremony. When the stock of ‘Chowmein’ got over at Yadav’s house late at night around 10.30 pm. However, some men were adamant to eat Chowmein and demanded that the stall owner brothers Satyam Gupta and Munna Gupta to serve Chowmein to them.

When the youths were informed that there was no more Chowmein left at the stall, they started abusing the Gupta brothers. The brothers protested back which further angered the guests who then resorted to full-scale violence with knives and sticks and attacked the brothers.

Later, the Gupta brothers said that the angry guests were determined to kill because of Chowmein. It was also said that the situation got really tense that night and the brothers were chased by the angry guests when they tried to escape from the place.

Reports say that a number of similar incidents of guests indulging in violence over food items at feasts have come to light in recent times.

Earlier this year, a man named Rajan opened fire at a wedding function killing one person and injuring three others at Narkatia village in the Gopalganj district. The violence started because the guests were served the chicken with rice instead of ‘litti’ at the wedding. In another previous incident, there was a violent brawl over fish curry.
