Subramanian Swamy condemns the ‘knifing and beheading as retaliation’ in France, however, his condemnation comes with a big ‘but’: Read details

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday condemned the beheading of innocent French citizens a day earlier, however, his condemnation came with terms and conditions. He said that ridiculing the prophet of Islam is despicable and should be condemned, however, knifing or beheading as retaliation as retaliation is criminal.

Tweet by Subramanian Swamy

Subramanian Swamy said, “Islamic nations are condemning French President Macron for defending French values after horribly cruel knife attack against innocent French non-Muslim citizens ? Ridiculing Prophet Mohammed is despicable and should be condemned. But knifing/ beheading as retaliation is criminal.”

The comment by Subramanian Swamy is in stark contrast with the statement issued by the Government of India and Prime Minister Modi himself which condemned the personal attacks on French President Emmanuel macron and the terrorist attack without any ifs or buts. Narendra Modi said on Thursday, “I strongly condemn the recent terrorist attacks in France, including today’s heinous attack in Nice inside a church. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the people of France. India stands with France in the fight against terrorism.”

In an official statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of External Affairs said that it “strongly deplores the personal attacks in unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of the most basic standards of international discourse”. The Ministry of External Affairs also condemned “the brutal terrorist attack that took the life of a French teacher in a gruesome manner that has shocked the world”.

The Hindu spreads fake news about China occupying new regions in Pangong Tso just a month after making money by publishing Chinese propaganda

Pro-China Newspaper The Hindu has been caught yet another fake news, where it had claimed that Chinese forces have occupied the finger 2 and finger 3 regions on the north bank of Pangong Tso lake. Quoting former BJP MP Thupstan Chhewang, the newspaper had published a report on Friday saying that Chinese troops have further transgressed into Indian territory and occupied new positions on the bank of Pangong Tso.

According to the report, Chhewang had said that he received this information from locals living in the forward areas along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. He had also claimed that Indian soldiers are living in tents and it is not adequate for them in sub-zero conditions. The report quoted the politician as saying, “The border situation is critical. The Chinese troops have not only further transgressed into our areas but they have also occupied prominent positions in Finger 2 and 3 areas of Pangong Tso, even Hot Springs area they have not fully vacated… this is what we have come to know from locals.”

But the clams of Chhewang reported by The Hindu has been rejected by Army officials. Reacting to the news, Retired Lieutenant General Satish Dua said that it is fake claim and fake news. He confirmed that there are no civilians living in the area, therefore the civilians quoted in the report are not correct.

A tweet by PIB Fact Check also said that the claim made in the report is incorrect. The official factchecking arm of PIB informed that it is a fake news and the Indian Army has refuted the statement.

Satellite imagery expert handle on Twitter, @detresfa also confirmed that India is still holding its positions in the high areas on the north bank of the lake. The open source intelligence handle posted latest satellite images from the area, which shows that Indian positions has not changed and there is no Chinese incursion in the area.

A report by defence expert Nitin A. Gokhale last week confirms that the situation remains unchanged on the banks of Pangong Tso for last several weeks. “After nearly six months of attempted military coercion, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has been unable to force the Indian military to succumb or retreat”, the report states.

It may be noted that Indian troops had occupied the higher reaches of the ridgeline Finger 4 on August 29-30, using a route not visible from Chinese camps on the lower ground in the region, getting a strategic advantage. Since then, Indian forces has been occupying those higher areas, and China has been unable to displace them as in mountain warfare, whoever occupies higher areas has an upper hand.

It may be noted that on the 1st of October, The Hindu ran a full page advertorial paid for and planted by China. The paid content appeared on the 3rd page of the paper. The paid content was designed to look like a full page article would seem like just that – a feature on how the world is wrong about mighty China and how, on the National Day of the People’s Republic of China.

Berlin: Amidst chants ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘La Ilaha Illalaha’, Muslims protest against President Emmanuel Macron after France faces Islamist attacks

0

The rage amidst the rabid Islamists against the French President Emmanuel Macron for his remarks against Islamic terrorism and his government’s severe measures to nip Jihadi violence in its bud, has been rising. Islamic fundamentalists Thursday took to the streets in Berlin, Germany. SV News shared a video on Twitter where a crowd of radical Muslims are seen chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘La Ilaha Illalaha’ to protest against the French President.

The rally took place on Hermannplatz in the Neukölln district. Róża Maria Thun, a Polish politician also took to Twitter to share the news.

Car accident reported immediately after radical Islamists protest against Macron in Berlin

According to reports, almost immediately after the protest in Berlin, a car reportedly drove into a group of people on a pavement in Kempen, in Germany’s district of North Rhine-Westphalia, killing one person and injuring at least three. Local police took to Twitter to inform the public that a road has been closed following a major accident in Kempen.

Unsurprisingly, taking inspiration from the fellow Muslims across the world, members of the Muslim community in our country also have hit the streets to protest over French President Emmanuel Macron’s strong reaction against the Islamic terror.

Indian Muslims join Muslim brethren in Islamic countries to protest against France

While the Aligarh Muslim University students, who had unwarrantedly protested against the CAA and had wanted to dig ‘Hindutva ki Kabar’, held protest marches in opposition to French President’s comments against radical Islam, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) asked Muslims of the country to boycott French products.

In Bhopal, Congress MLA organised a protest of thousands of Muslims. Muslims in Bhindi Bazaar of Mumbai posted images of French President on the streets of the city, walked and drove on these posters as a mark of protest against Macron after he had condemned the Islamic terror attack on a French teacher who was beheaded by his student for showing Charlie Hebdo caricatures.

Why has the French President come in the line of fire?

The attacks against French President comes days after Macron had made a sensational speech saying that “Islam is a religion that is in crisis today all over the world”,” plagued by radical temptations and by a yearning for a reinvented jihad which is the destruction of the other”.

Macron had made a historic statement following the beheading of French teacher Samuel Paty’s killing, who was beheaded by an Islamic terrorist for showing Charlie Hebdo caricatures to his students.

After the barbaric beheading of teacher Samuel Paty on the streets of Paris by a terrorist for showing the cartoons of Prophet Mohammad to his students, support poured in for the deceased teacher across the French communities who took to streets to condemn the killing of Samuel Paty.

However, the historic speech by Macron and his pronouncements to tackle Islamic terror had infuriated many Islamic countries, with many Islamic countries, especially Turkey and Pakistan took the lead to denounce the French President.

France wakes up to the menace of ‘Islamo-leftism’, an alliance between leftists and Islamists that has been attacking India for decades

0

There’s a certain clarity that only tragedies can bring. A national reckoning with our worst nightmare often proves to be the litmus test to judge the character of the individuals leading the country. In France, the beheading of Samuel Paty, a high-school teacher, by an Islamic terrorist has sent shockwaves throughout the country. In the aftermath of it, its leaders been been set on a path where they will have to make tough decisions.

The administration of President Emmanuel Macron has demonstrated that they at least have some clarity into what the problem is and they have no hesitation in stating it clearly. Jean Michel Blanquer, the education minster of France, said, “We have to be really attentive to any intellectual complicity with terrorism. Our society has been far too permeable to certain currents of thought.”

“What we call ‘Islamo-leftism’ is wreaking havoc. It’s wreaking havoc in the universities. It’s wreaking havoc when UNEF conciliates this type of thing. It’s wreaking havoc in the ranks of France Insoumise, who have people that are of that current, and they make that very obvious. People like this prefer an ideology that, sometimes, leads to the worst,” he added.

The term Islamo-leftism, obviously, refers to the tacit alliance between leftists and Islamists that we can observe all over the world. While the origin of the term is not clear, it is generally attributed to French philosopher, political scientist and historian Pierre-André Taguieff who used the term in his 2002 essay ‘The New Judeophobia’ to refer to the collusion between the Left in the West and Islamists.

Philosopher Pascal Bruckner used the term to describe “a desperate attempt by mouldering, putrefying, brain-dead Marxists to hoist themselves out of the dustbin of history by latching onto the coattails of Islam.” The terrorist attack in Nice where three people were murdered appears to have further strengthened the resolve of the French in combating the monstrosity that lies before them.

Nice’s mayor Christian Estrosi said that ‘enough is enough… it’s time now for France to exonerate itself from the laws of peace in order to definitively wipe out Islamo-fascism from our country’. David Lisnard, the mayor of Cannes, demanded a ‘fierce and cold determination to eradicate this plague’ after an ‘abominable Islamist attack’.

‘The action against Islamist fanaticism must be methodical, flawless, adamant, relentless,’ he said. He proceeded to add, ‘More than ever, we must defend France and our values, and also our civilization. Because the fight is civilisational.’

If any Indian politician had made such remarks, it would have been enough for the mainstream media and the band of ‘intellectuals’ to label him as a fascist Hindutva bigot worthy of great condemnation. The Islamo-leftism that the French Education Minister spoke of is nowhere more evident than it is in India. And it is also true that Universities in India have been too soft on certain terrible ideologies.

For instance, Gautam Navlakha, a revered ‘human rights activist’ among the ‘intellectual’ camp in India, was in touch with Pakistan’s ISI. Famed intellectual Arundhati Roy is, perhaps, the most prominent example of the alliance between Radical Islam and the Left. She whitewashes every crime committed by Islamic terrorists in Kashmir while she blames the Indian Army for every crime under the Sun.

In the anti-Hindu Delhi riots, Left groups such as Pinjra Tod contributed to the conspiracy to unleash chaos in the national capital in equal measure as Radical Islamic groups. They also played a pivotal role in slandering the Police over their investigation into the riots which exposed the conspiracy by radical individuals such as Tahir Hussain, Khalid Saifi and others.

The Left also defended the Jamia Milia Islamia University strongly after their students participated in the violent protests in the aftermath of the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act and condemned the crack down by the Police at the University to put an end to it. They also glorified the Shaheen Bagh protests despite the fact that slogans such as ‘Jinnah wali Azadi’ was raised at the protests.

The Left also went to extent of whitewashing the brutal murders of Intelligence Bureau constable Ankit Sharma and the young Dilbar Negi. It was Islamo-Leftism in its pristine form that we observed. And we witnessed the participation of all mainstream media outlets in the charade. We could see with our very eyes that Radical Muslims were unleashing devastation across the country andyet, we were told by Leftists that we are monsters for trusting our senses over their lies.

When Kamlesh Tiwari was brutally murdered for exercising his right to freedom of speech, the very same Leftists who are now condemning the terrorist attacks in France attempted to whitewash it and instead wailed about the supposed bigotry of Hindutvavadis. The latter attracted unequivocal condemnation while the former prompted them to implore Muslims to organise with not peace in their minds.

The collusion, perhaps, was most prominent during the Ram Janambhoomi dispute in the Courts where Marxist historians flatly lied and distorted historical facts in order to aid the cause of Radical Muslims. Ultimately, it proved futile as Hindus did manage to win the sacred land. The same is observed on cases of Love Jihad, which is a grave threat but Leftists even refuse to admit that such crimes actually occur.

Thus, Islamo-Leftism has been a lived reality for India for generations. And yet, France is demonstrating the intent that we seldom have. The French have the added advantage that there are no political parties who are likely to come to the defence of those actively abetting terrorists and Radical Islamic ideology. But the same, unfortunately, cannot be said for India.

Even so, since India has decided to stand by France despite the barrage of criticism the country is coming under, the best way to demonstrate it would be by going after the nexus of Islamo-leftism in our own country. Because at the end of the day, actions do speak louder than words. Political leaders in France have gained clarity very quickly in this regard while our leaders continue to ignore the elephant in the room.

Pakistan court gives custody of 13-year-old Christian girl, who was kidnapped, raped and converted to Islam, to 44-year-old abductor Ali Azhar: Details

In a startling decision, a Pakistan court has granted the custody of a 13-year-old girl Christian girl to her 44-year-old abductor, Ali Azhar. The minor girl was kidnapped from her residence in Karachi’s Railway Colony on October 13. She was then forced to convert to Islam and marry her abductor.

Journalist Bilal Farooqi confirmed the court ruling on Twitter. He had uploaded the birth certificate of the abducted girl, issued by the Sindh government, wherein the date of birth is mentioned as July 31, 2007. Despite evidence that the victim is a minor, the Court directed the abductor to keep the minor girl based on an affidavit signed by her under duress.

It is pertinent to point out that the Sindh provincial Assembly had enacted the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act in 2014, thereby barring child marriage and imposing a punishment of up to 3 years for the adult men.

Sindh High Court directs police to not arrest Ali Azhar

As per the order of the Sindh High Court, the SHO (Station House Officer) has been directed to not make any arrest and instead provide protection to the forcefully married couple, to prevent harassment. In its verdict, the Court stated that the minor girl had converted to Islam and adopted the name of Arzoo Fathima. The Court ruled that the girl married Ali Azhar out of her ‘free will’ and own accord ‘without duress and fear.’ Earlier, Ali Azhar had provided a fake marriage certificate, which stated that the girl was 18 years old and not a minor.

Victim’s mother makes an emotional appeal

The girl’s mother, Rita, had earlier pleaded, “In the name of God, please rescue our daughter. We are deeply worried. Please help us. He and his supporters are terrifying us and we are in danger from these people. Please listen to our appeal.” Following Arzoo’s abduction, the parents of the girl ended up losing their jobs and receiving threats from Ali Azhar.

Meanwhile, several Christians and social activists staged a protest outside the Karachi Press Club on October 24, demanding the enforcement of the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act. Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) has decided to provide legal and paralegal aid to the victim’s family and take care of their daily expenses.

Rampant religious conversions to Islam in Sindh

Recently, even as the pandemic was sweeping through Pakistan, a Hindu family in Karachi was attacked amidst coronavirus lockdown in Pakistan on April 12, 2020, for refusing to embrace Islam. The case is from PIA township in Karachi where a Maulvi named Usman teamed up with the Hindu family’s neighbour named Shahid to assault the minorities for their denial to accept Islam.

Before that, radical Islamists and clerics in Pakistan demanded the beheading of a Hindu minor girl named Mehak Kumari, who was abducted, converted to Islam and forcibly married to a Muslim man, for leaving Islam. Mehak was abducted from the Jacobabad district of Sindh province in Pakistan on January 15. In a video going viral on Twitter, few radical Islamists and clerics of Pakistan are heard blaming 14-year-old Mehak of murtad, or an act of Apostasy, and are demanding death punishment, accusing her of insulting Islam.

Nikita Tomar murder: Main accused Tauseef wants to be shifted to Bhondsi jail in Gurugram where his uncle, a hardened criminal is lodged

0

The main accused Tauseef, involved in the brutal murder of a 21-year-old student named Nikita Tomar, had been sent to 14-day judicial custody after he admitted to the crime. The accused, who belongs to an influential family of Congress politicians, has now filed an application before the court saying that he should be transferred to another jail as he fears for his life in the local district jail. Tauseef in his application has requested that he be shifted from the Neemka Jail in Faridabad, where he is currently lodged, to the Bhondsi jail in Gurugram, Haryana.

The Counsel for the accused told the court that there are chances that his client could be attacked in the local district jail. He contended that Tauseef would remain safer in the Bhondsi jail in Gurugram. The court, however, turned down the plea.

Tauseef might be wanting to hatch a bigger conspiracy with his uncle

It is pertinent to note that Tauseef’s maternal uncle- Islamuddin, is a hardened criminal who is currently lodged in the same jail in Gurugram where Tauseef wants to be shifted. Islamuddin is an accused in the kidnapping an on-duty police officer. According to reports, Islamuddin had only, through one of his acquaintances- Azharuddin, arranged for the country-made pistol which Tauseef used to kill Nikita Tomar from close range, which was caught on CCTV.

Nikita’s maternal uncle and lawyer Edal Singh Rawat opined that since Islamuddin is lodged in the Bhondsi jail in Gurugram, Tauseef might be wanting to go there so that the two can get together and plan a bigger conspiracy.

Meanwhile, the Faridabad police arrested Azharuddin from Nuh on Wednesday night. Faridabad Police PRO ACP Adarshdeep Singh confirmed that Azharuddin had supplied the illegal weapon that Tauseef used to shoot Nikita dead in broad daylight. Azharuddin was also produced in court on Thursday and sent to judicial custody.

Security provided to the family of Nikita Tomar

Faridabad Police have provided 24-hour security to all the family members of the victim in the Nikita Tomar murder case. Nikita’s mother Vijaya Tomar, father Moolchand Tomar and brother Naveen Tomar, all three have been provided with separate security personnel.

Also, the SIT formed to investigate the Nikita Tomar murder case has collected all the important evidence related to this incident and will be filing the charge-sheet in the coming 12 days. The police informed that the investigation into the case is almost over. They have prepared a list of witnesses. According to reports, the victim’s relatives were around when the incident took place. The police said that the main evidence against Tauseef is the CCTV footage and the car which the accused used to carry out the crime. Also, the fact that he had kidnapped Nikita Tomar earlier in 2018 is a piece of important evidence against the accused, said the police.

Forensic team to conduct extensive investigation

The police will be conducting a forensic investigation of the car, so that forensic evidence can also be submitted in the court along with the charge-sheet. The forensic team will travel to the crime scene to collect the evidence themselves. They will be analysing things like- marks on the car tyres, finger prints of the accused and the deceased. They will also search the car to collect evidence like, hair etc which would prove as important evidence in the investigation.

Reports suggest that Tauseef wanted to abduct Nikita Tomar and take her to Mewat, where he would forcefully convert her to Islam and marry her.

As soon as Nikita had left college on October 27, the day she was brutally murdered in broad daylight, Taufeeq followed her. He tried to convince her to sit in the car, which his friend Rhan was driving. When Nikita resisted, Tauseef tried to use force and when he did not succeed, he shot her.

The car which was used to effectuate the crime was registered on Tauseef’s friend’s fathers name. Tauseef had told the police that he had bought the second-hand car from his friend’s father, a resident of Delhi, a year ago, but had not got the registration changed to his name. Now, the original owner of the car might also be called for interrogation, said the Faridabad police.

Tauseef hid his identity to befriend Nikita Tomar, his family too pressurised her to convert to Islam

Is has been revealed that Tauseef knew Nikita from school days. He had hidden his identity fearing that his religion might become a hindrance in becoming friends with the girl he ‘loved’. A friend of Nikita, who studies in the same college in Ballabgarh, claimed that Tauseef was a senior in the same school where her late friend used to study. “In order to become friends with Nikita, he always used to identify himself with a Hindu name Ankit. However, once a school friend called him by his real name infront of them and we realised that he was a Muslim”, Amar Ujala quoted Nikita’s friend as saying.

Recently Nikita’s aggrieved mother had claimed that not only Tauseef (earlier media reports named his as Taufeeq), but even his mother was forcing Nikita to convert to Islam. As per reports, Touseef’s mother called Nikita several times and asked her to convert to Islam.

In 2018, Tauseef reportedly abducted Nikita. A case was filed back then but after a Panchayat was held, it was withdrawn. Nikita’s family alleges that Tauseef’s family pressurised them into withdrawing the case as they are politically influential.

Tauseef’s Congress connection

According to reports, Tauseef is the grandson of Kabir Ahmed, a Congress leader who was elected as an MLA from Haryana’s Nuh constituency in 1975 and from the Tauru constituency in 1982. He continued to be Khanpur and Raisika village sarpanch for almost 20 years. Khanpur and Raisika are located in Nuh Tehsil of Mewat district in Haryana.

Further, Touseef’s late uncle Khurshid Ahmad was a Congress MP of Haryana and was an ex-Cabinet minister of Haryana. Khurshid Ahmed’s son and Touseef’s cousin Aftab Ahmed was elected as MLA from Nuh, Mewat on Congress ticket and has been a Minister as well.

Nikita Tomar murder

On Monday, 21-year-old Nikita Tomar was shot to death in broad daylight by Touseef after she repeatedly turned down his advances. He had allegedly repeatedly asked her to convert to Islam as well. The shocking incident was caught on camera, visuals of which have now gone viral. Touseef and his accomplice Rehan were arrested.

Munger SP Lipi Singh’s claims shattered, CISF report says Police first opened fire against Hindus, 13 bullets fired

Ahead of the assembly state elections in the state, Bihar was convulsed with a horrifying episode of violence when Durga Procession devotees were mercilessly attacked by the police personnel in the Munger district. The devotees were charged with batons and shots were fired at them, claiming the life of one 18-year-old Hindu boy. Now, a CISF report from a local unit to police headquarters says that the first shot was fired by the police on the attendees of the Durga Puja procession ceremony.

The CISF report, which was issued on October 27, a day after the incident, said that at the request of Munger Kotwali police station, a detachment of CISF troops was sent to the district school for the protection of the Durga immersion procession ceremony. The report mentions that the phalanx of troops sent by CISF that contained 20 personnel was divided into two groups of 10 each. One of the groups was posted along with SSB and Bihar Police personnel at Deendayal Upadhyay Chowk, Munger.

CISF report on police action on Durga Puja Procession attendees in Munger on October 26(Source: Navbharat)

The report claims that the dispute between the devotees and police began at around 11:45 pm on the night of October 26, 2020. It states that some people started pelting stones on police and security forces after which the Munger Police opened the first fire.

The report says that CISF head constable M Gangaiah fired 13 rounds of bullets from his INSAS rifle. The firing by the personnel dispersed the crowd following which the personnel of CISF, SSB and local police returned to their camp.

It is pertinent to note here that the video which had gone viral on social media showed devotees crouched, trying to protect the Durga Man murti, while the police were mercilessly showering lathis on them. Presumably, the stone pelting started after this ‘dispute’ that led to the police showering lathis on the devotees.

CISF report punctures the claims made by SP Munger Lipi Singh about violence in Munger

The report is in stark contrast to what the SP Munger Lipi Singh had claimed a few days ago while justifying the police action against the Durga Puja attendees. Singh had alleged that one of the members of the crowd opened fire which led to the death of the 18-year-old devotee. She had also claimed that it was the stone pelting from the people that had provoked police to take action against them.

Several videos of the incident had gone viral on the internet, raising a question on the police conduct against devotees indulging in the immersion ceremony of Goddess Durga. In the videos that are doing the rounds on social media websites, devotees were seen peacefully carrying Goddess Durga for the immersion ceremony when a bunch of police personnel rain lathis on them. Terrified that the assault might defile Goddess Durga’s idol, devotees scramble to surround the idol of Goddess Durga, presumably to protect her from the police onslaught.

Police open fire at Durga Visarjan procession in Munger

Tension continues to grip Munger town and the surrounding areas in Bihar after violence washeaped at a Hindu procession for Durga idol immersion. An 18-year-old youth has reportedly been killed and several others injured in the firing that took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

The violence, as per reports, broke out after Kotwali police asked Hindus not to delay the idol immersion procession of Shadipur Badi Durga. Traditionally, the idols are immersed after three days of Vijayadashami but this time, in view of the first phase of Assembly polls in the state on Wednesday, the administration had insisted on the immersion by 5 am on Tuesday.

Durga puja organizers, as instructed, had taken out the procession allegedly with DJs close to midnight as they headed for the immersion. The situation turned ugly around 11.50 pm when police officials used brutal force on Hindus going for Durga Puja Visarjan.

After Pakistan Minister’s Pulwama attack confession, India to approach International Court of Justice, seeks blacklisting of Pakistan by FATF

0

After the shocking admission of by Pakistan Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on the Pakistan govt’s role in the gruesome Pulwama attack that had claimed the lives of many CRPF soldiers, India is reportedly planning to approach the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Defending the Imran Khan government in Pakistan’s National Assembly on October 28, Chaudhary had admitted the terror country’s role in the 2019 Pulwama attack.

Chaudhary had bragged saying that Pakistan gave a befitting reply to India by entering Indian territory and attacking Indian soldiers in Pulwama. On the basis of the statement made by the Pakistani Minister, India has reportedly decided to approach the ICJ. The Indian government has also indicated that Pakistan should be put in the blacklist of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

After Chaudhary’s admission, Union Minister VK Singh thanked him for vindicating India’s stand on Pulwama attacks that had claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel. Singh urged the Indian government to utilise his admission for getting the country blacklisted.

Pakistan’s Minister’s Statement

“Humne Hindustan ko ghus ke maara (We hit India in their home). Our success in Pulwama, is a success of the people under the leadership of Imran Khan. You and us are all part of that success,” Fawad Chaudhry had boasted in the national assembly defending the Imran Khan government before opposition. However, hours after his admission on Pulwama attack, India media outlets NDTV and India Today which are known for propagating pro-Pakistan views, provided Chaudhary a platform to clarify his statement. Retracting from his boastful statement made by him in the National Assembly, Chaudhary said that he was misinterpreted.

NIA had filed a 13,500 page charge sheet in Pulwama attack

In August this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had filed the charge sheet in the 14 February 2019 Pulwama terror attack naming several Pakistani nationals.

AIMPLB asks Muslims to boycott French products days after President Emmanuel Macron vowed to fight radical Islamic terror

Following the crackdown on radical Islam in France, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has asked Muslims of the country to boycott French products. While France has stepped up action against radical Islam following a series of terror attacks by radical Islamists in the country, radical Muslims across the world have started a campaign against France, alleging insult to Prophet Muhammad for allowing artwork and cartoons of the Prophet to be published.

According to the reports, Maulana Muhammad Umrain Mahfuz Rahmani, the secretary of the AIMPLB and in-charge of the social media desk, said that the Islamic organisation has appealed to fellow Muslims to boycott French products in a mark of protests against French President Emmanuel Macron, who had earlier vowed to fight against radical Islamic terror.

The AIMPLB also took to Twitter to condemn the French President’s recent statements declaring war against radical Islamic terrorism following the beheading of a teacher by a Muslim immigrant terrorist two weeks ago.

The organisation claimed that the Freedom of expression is a right, however, one is not allowed to insult the sentiments of others in the name of freedom. Those who violate others’ fundamental right to be respected must adopt civilized manners, the AIMPLB added.

“The Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him is Mercy to the entire mankind. derogatory remarks against him are intolerable. The mocker only exposes his own psychopath behavior,” the statement said.

AIMPLB joins Muslim brethren to call for boycott against France

Lashing out at Macron for saying that Islam is in crisis all over the world, Turkish President had started a war of words with French President and had stated, “What is the problem of this person called Macron with Muslims and Islam? Macron needs treatment on a mental level…”.

After Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hit out at French President Emmanuel Macron for his alleged Islamophobic comments, Islamists around the world had come forward to boycott French products.

Unsurprisingly, taking inspiration from the fellow Muslims across the world, members of the Muslim community in the country also have hit the streets to protest over French President Emmanuel Macron’s strong reaction against the Islamic terror.

India supports France, AIMPLB, Muslims takes contrary stand on the issue

Strangely, the stand taken by AIMPLB and the ‘Indian’ Muslims in the ongoing controversy is exactly contrary to the official position of the country. The Indian government, along with citizens of the country, have already expressed their solidarity with France in their ongoing war against radical Islamic terror.

In an official statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of External Affairs said that it “strongly deplores the personal attacks in unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of the most basic standards of international discourse”.

The Modi government also offered its condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of France. “There is no justification for terrorism for any reason or under any circumstance,” the MEA statement added.

Even several citizens of the country took to social media to express solidarity with France. However, it is rather yet not clear why Muslims of the country, backed by Islamic organisations, are taking a contrary stand to that of India’s official position on France.

AMU students, who wanted to dig ‘Hindutva ki kabar’, now protest against French President for standing up to Jihad after ‘blasphemy’ beheadings

Protesting against everything under the sun has become a second nature of the Aligarh Muslim University students. After unwarrantedly protesting against the CAA and wanting to dig ‘Hindutva ki kabar’, the students in AMU have now railed against French President Emmanuel Macron for his remarks against Islamic terrorism and his government’s severe measures to Jihadi violence in its bud, by holding a protest and demanding for boycott of French products.

Protest marches were held at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in opposition to French President’s comments against radical Islam and corresponding extremism amidst the increasing spate of terror attacks happening in many cities across Europe. The protest in AMU comes after Congress leader organised a protest in Bhopal where thousands of Muslims participated.

AMU students call for the boycott of French-made products in their protest against President of Franch, Emmanuel Macron

Students shouted anti-Macron slogans at the matches and carried signs that called for a blanket boycott of French products. The angry protesters also resorted to burning posters of the French President even as France endured another Islamist attack at the iconic Notre-Dame de l’Assomption Basilica in Nice, where three people were killed, including a woman who was beheaded, vindicating his stand on Islamic extremism.

The protest started from AMU’s Duck Point to the Baba Syed Gate via Engineering College, Deeniyat Department, Art Faculty, Vice-Chancellor Lodge, Staff Club.

Students who partook in the protests were aggrieved by Macron’s remarks for Islamic extremism and asserted that his remarks were intolerable for the Muslims across the world. Many of them called for economic punishments to France by observing a sweeping boycott of the products produced by the country. The protesters urged the participants to stop buying and using French products.

AMU students have often been at the centre of controversies for their unwarranted participation in demonstrations that rarely affected the country or its population. Last year, AMU was at the centre of the furore after the protests carried out against the passage of the CAA descended into chaos and violence. Even then, AMU protesters resorted to demonstrations on a Bill that had no bearing on the citizens of the country and was meant to provide Fastrack means for persecuted minorities in the neighbouring three countries of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh to apply for citizenship of India.

President Macron’s remarks against Islamic radicalisation draws the ire of the Muslim world

The recent protests in AMU have roots in French President Emmanuel Macron’s trenchant criticism of the Islamic radicalism that plagues the country and much of Europe. The remarks came in the aftermath of the death of a Paris teacher, who was beheaded by an Islamist for showcasing the caricatures of Prophet Muhammad in his class.

In a moving tribute to Samuel Paty, the deceased teacher, French President hailed him as “quiet hero” and called upon the need to build an Islam of Enlightenment” in the country, an expression that raised the hackles of many leaders in the Muslim world.

Since the killing of the Paris teacher, stringent measures have been adopted by many European countries, particularly France, to curb the menace of Islamism. Several mosques, believed to be the centres of breeding radicalism and extremism were temporarily closed down by the country. Such measures have been used by the leaders of the Muslim world to deflect their populations’ attention away from the domestic issues and mobilise them against the West.

Muslim leaders take offence on Macron’s remarks to secure their tenuous grip on power

From Pakistan PM Imran Khan, who is beleaguered in his own country following the fiasco between Sindh Police and Pakistani Army, to Turkey’s authoritarian ruler Recep Erdogan, who chomps at the bit of burnishing his Islamic credentials, have come out stridently in condemning Macron and to rally their Muslim population against the Europeans.

Yesterday, even former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad came out of the woodwork and posted a bizarre yet a despicable thread on Twitter, calling for the killing of Europeans for their “excesses” against Muslims.
