Rhea releases images of Sushant’s ‘properties’ she possesses, late actor’s ex-aide says she fired his entire staff

Rhea Chakraborty, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, released images of the ‘possessions’ she has of Sushant after the Enforcement Directorate grilled her and her brother last week.

Rhea claimed these two are the only two ‘properties’ of Sushant she has with herself. She claims that “Bebu” in gratitude list is herself and ‘Lillu’ is her Showik, her brother, who was also grilled by the ED. She claims ‘Sir’ is Rhea’s father and ‘Ma’am’ is her mother. Fudge is Sushant’s dog.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-assistant Sabir Ahmed while speaking to Pinkvilla said that Rhea Chakraborty fired his entire team last year. He said that Singh was a happy soul but Rhea’s entry changed it all as she took complete charge of his life.

He further says that Rhea didn’t want the old staff and hence fired them all. “She wanted to put all her people in our places. After that, I didn’t go back and never met Sushant sir,” he told Pinkvilla. He further said that even those who were not fired by Rhea had to talk to her instead of talking to Sushant.

Udta AAP: After crushing defeat in 2017, AAP dissolves core committee, district units and all wings in Punjab

The Punjab Unit of the Aam Aadmi Party has decided to disband its core structure, core committee, all wings and district units in an effort to strengthen the party at the organisational level ahead of the Assembly Elections in the state in 2022.

The Aam Aadmi Party announced that except the main wing of the party, all other committees and units have been dissolved. A further announcement on the organisational structure of the party’s Punjab Unit will be announced soon. Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann will continue to remain the president of the state unit.

AAP had campaigned for the 2017 Assembly Elections in Punjab with great expectations of forming the government, however, they had been dealt a crushing defeat by the Congress party under the leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh. It was later revealed that the AAP under Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal had attempted to court Khalistanis in order to secure an electoral victory in Punjab.

Shiromani Akali Dal leaders to protest outside Sonia Gandhi’s house alleging involvement of Congress leaders in production & peddling of spurious liquor in Punjab

The State of Punjab has been wrecked by the sale of illicit alcohol and the subsequent fatalities caused due to its consumption, culminating in the Hooch tragedy that led to the death of over 100 people so far. On Saturday, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) informed that the party will protest outside the residence of the Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi in light of the recent tragedy caused due to consumption of spurious liquor in the State.

The party has alleged that the Congress party is involved in the production & peddling of spurious liquor that has killed more than 100 people in Punjab. They have also alleged that the liquor mafia in the state had paid money to the Congress to thwart any probe into the illegal liquor trade.

Party spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema added that the protest will be led by Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal on August 11, demanding the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for failing to curb the sale of spurious liquor in the State. The party has also demanded appropriate action against the culprits. “Around 70% of Congress leaders in the State are involved in the illegal sale of alcohol in the State… Why is Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi silent over the issue?” Dr. Cheema asked.

A protest march was also carried out today by the Shiromani Akali Dal leaders against the Congress-led Punjab government in Chandigarh. The march was led by SAD leader Prem Singh Chandumajra, which was stopped by the Chandigarh Police some distance away from the Raj Bhawan. The protesters were also detained by police for some time.

The party demanded dismissal of the Congress government in the state over the tragedy. SAD also demanded action against those Congress leaders who are allegedly involved in the supply of spurious liquor.

“I have ordered a magisterial inquiry into suspected spurious liquor deaths in Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran. Commissioner, Jalandhar Division will conduct the inquiry and coordinate with concerned SSPs and other officers. Anyone found guilty will not be spared,” Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh was earlier quoted as saying.

Probe begins in Hooch tragedy case

Reportedly, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh had set up two investigative teams to launch a probe into the Hooch tragedy. On Thurday, Divisional Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhry also initiated a parallel magisterial probe in the case. He has also sought details about the mode of transportation of industrial spirit from distilleries to the suppliers. The Punjab police officials were directed to submit detailed reports about recoveries, investigations, statements of accused, victims, and witnesses. Besides, Raj Kamal Chaudhry also demanded details of excise officials who are deputed in the area for over 2 years. The probe report is expected within 3 weeks from the date of commencement of the investigation.

Punya Prasun Bajpai makes absurd comparison of Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan’s viewership on TV with BJP’s vote in 2019

More than 160 million people across the world witnessed the historic Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The momentous occasion, once in a lifetime, was cheered not only by people of the country but was celebrated across the world with much exuberance.

However, there were certain individuals, who seemed to be unhappy, took to politicise and mock at the event only to target the ruling dispensation and the BJP.

In a similar act, Punya Prasun Bajpai on Saturday took to Twitter to discredit the success of the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony by making illogical claims. Punya Prasun Bajpai, quoting a news report, said that while BJP grabbed around 23 crores votes in the 2019 general elections only 16 crore people watched the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on Wednesday.

The journalist, in his attempt to portray the cultural event of Ram Mandir ceremony as a political event, went on to make absurd comparison stating that even people who voted for the BJP in the last elections did not watch the Ram Mandir ceremony. Essentially Bajpai was insinuating that the BJP had lost support among the masses as nearly 7 crore people who voted for the BJP was not interested in witnessing it.

Bajpai’s poor understanding of statistics

The inability of journalists like PP Bajpai to comprehend statistics and viewership data is understandable. Perhaps, Bajpai thought only one person watched the event on one particular TV set.

Secondly, the viewership of 16 crores is of DD National as revealed by Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi S Vempati. The live feed of DD National was also telecast by more than 200 other TV channels. Then there is digital space and social media platforms, which is now a major medium to watch any live program. So the viewership of the event will be much higher than 16 crores.

Most importantly, not all people voted for BJP will have TV sets at their homes. Moreover, watching the Ram Mandir event was not made mandatory and hence corresponding the viewership of an event to the total numbers of votes polled in specific elections is laughable at the best.

Ram Mandir will be able to withstand natural calamities for 1000 years, says Ram Janmabhoomi Trust member

On Friday, Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, reportedly informed that the structure of the majestic Ram Mandir will be resistant to earthquakes and can withstand natural calamities for about 1000 years. This revelation was made during a press briefing at Karswakpuram in Ayodhya, just two days after the Bhoomi Pujan event that has held on August 5.

As per the report, Champat Rai stated that the temple will be earthquake resistant as the pillars for the structure will be as deep as bridges built on rivers. He added that the foundation of the temple will be such that it can withstand other natural calamities for 1000 years. Rai informed that Larson and Turbo, the company responsible for the construction of the Ram Mandir, briefed him that the foundation plan is in its final phase and will be ready soon. According to reports, the foundation for the Ram Mandir will be 200 feet deep.

Ram Mandir to display structures found during excavation

The General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust informed that the plan will then be approved by the Ayodhya Development Authority and the sculptures found during the excavation will be put on display at the Ram Mandir. Champat Rai said, “We will get the plan passed by the Ayodhya Development Authority after paying the due fee. We don’t want any exemption. The sculptures found during the digging and levelling of the land will be put on display at the temple. The trust has so far around ₹ 42 crores in its bank account and people are donating from Re 1 to ₹ 1 crore.”

The Bhoomi Pujan event in Ayodhya

The 500 years of struggle came to fruition for millions of Hindu devotees across the world today as Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan at 12.44.08 PM. PM Modi who returned to Ayodhya after 29 years, expressed gratitude to all citizens of this nation, Indian diaspora across the world and all the Ram Bhakts on today’s auspicious occasion.

“Ram Janmabhoomi has got its freedom today. Like August 15 is Independence Day for the country, today holds a similar significance for crores of those who devoted their lives for the cause of Ram temple”, said PM Modi addressing the luminaries and dignitaries present for the Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.

Child Rights Commission takes cognisance of tweets by AltNews co-founder where he had doxxed a minor girl: Read details

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has taken cognizance of a matter where a minor girl child was threatened and tortured by AltNews co-founder Mohammed Zubair on the microblogging site. Priyank Kanoongo, the chairperson of the commission informed the same on Twitter today evening.

Kanoongo informed that Twitter India and the concerned law enforcement officials has been informed about the tweet, and they have been asked to take appropriate action.

National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) is a statutory body established by an Act of the Parliament of India, and it works under the Ministry of Women and Child Development of the government of India.

In a letter written to Delhi Police Cyber Cell, the NCPCR said that they have received complaints against Mohammed Zubair for online harassing, threatening and stalking a minor girl on Twitter. It also mentions that after he had stalked the girl, his followers him, his followers had started to post indecent and disgracefull comments on the images of the minor girl.

The Commission said that they have taken cognizance of the complaint under section 13(1)(j) and (k) of CPCR Act 2005, and decided to conduct an inquiry in the matter.

Forum for Indigenous Rights- North-East India, an organisation working for the rights of people of North East India, had filed the complaint with NCPCR against Md Zubair. Yesterday, the organisation had lodged a complaint with the commission seeking action against online harassment and threats to the girl after she was stalked by the AltNews cofounder. They had requested the commission to register a non-bailable warrant against Zubair, and asked to file case against him under POCSO and other relevant laws.

Yesterday, Mohammed Zubair had targeted a minor girl in his Twitter fight with a social media user. Instead of replying to the user, he had referred to a minor girl seen in the profile picture of the user Jagdish Singh, presumably his granddaughter. After Zubair had highlighted the minor girl seen in the photo, Islamists had started to issue rape threats to the girl. When one Twitter user had tagged National Commission for Women to raise an alarm about the predatory behaviour by Zubair, the co-founder of AltNews brazened it out justifying his blatant doxxing that was clearly endangering the life of a minor.

Air India Express crash: Civil Aviation Safety Advisory Council had warned about ‘possible accident’ at Kozhikode airport in 2011 due to runway deficiencies

0

In a tragic incident on Friday night, an Air India Express flight (AXB1344, B737) flying from Dubai skidded off the runway and broke into two pieces at Calicut International Airport at Kozhikode, leaving 18 dead. The Boeing-737 flight was carrying 190 passengers and crew, including 10 infants, as a part of the ‘Vande Bharat’ mission. The aircraft had overshot the runway during heavy rain and fell down to the valley below the tabletop runway.

While the safety of the airport is being questioned after the accident, earlier the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had issued a show-cause notice to the Director of the Calicut International airport after the aviation regulator had discovered ‘critical safety lapses’ such as cracks, excessive rubber deposits and water stagnation on the runway. Interestingly, the DGCA had warned of the unsafe condition of the runway 9 years ago and cautioned about the possibility of a plane accident similar to the one that occurred in May 2010 at Mangalore which killed 158 people onboard.

2011 DGCA report warned about a possible accident

A report by the Civil Aviation Safety Advisory Council, accessed by CNN News 18, had reported that the Calicut Airport was devoid of the minimum 90-metre long buffer zone beyond the runway, which is necessary in case a flight overshoots the runway. “A 240-meter safety area beyond the runway is critical in case the aircraft overshoots but the Calicut runway doesn’t have even the minimum 90 meters. Any aircraft overrunning the runway will fall, possibly breaking upon impact,” the 2011 report emphasised.

Aviation expert also wrote a letter to the Civil Aviation Ministry in 2011

As per reports, Mohan Ranganathan, an aviation expert who prepared the report 9 years ago, had stated that there were only 75 metres of safety area on either side of the runway instead of the recommended 150 metres. In a letter to the then Ministry of Civil Aviation Secretary Nasim Zaidi, Ranganathan emphasised, “There has been no effort on the part of AAI to rectify the safety infringements … The runway strip is just half the minimum width laid down. This fact was known to the DGCA… Have they considered the danger involved? Has the DGCA or airlines laid down any operational restrictions or special procedures.”

Airports Authority of India overlooked recommendations

Aviation expert Mohan Ranganathan had highlighted the dangers involved in landing on Runway 10 and urged authorities to not permit landing on the said runway, due to lack of safety measures. 9 years later, the Air India Express flight overshot the runway and fell 35 feet bellow and broke on impact. As per reports, the Calicut International Airport had a tabletop runway which is difficult for landing. These runways have a steep drop and are built on high altitudes by levelling the surface.

‘Who are you to tell me what my ancestors fought for?’ Instagram blogger receives rape and death threats for celebratory post on Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan

0

Kamya, a British Instagram blogger, had a breakdown on social media recently after she was brutally trolled on the social media platform following a celebratory post on Instagram regarding the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on the 5th of August. Kamya, who posts under the username wanderingkamya, had posted a ‘Happy Diwali’ message on her Instagram account on the 5th of August.

In her Instagram post, wanderingkamya said, “This day marks the single biggest reclamation of indigenous heritage that we’ve seen in decades – the reconstruction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.” She added, “Ayodhya is to Hindus like the Vatican is to Christians. It is easily one of the most sacred sites and is central in the Ramayana. Whilst colonial agents love to dismiss the Ramayana and pretty much the entire Hindu philosophy as myth; this is the identity of the land.”

She continued, “And the history of our land, is just as beautiful as it is tragic. Millions of Hindus killed by invaders. Thousands of temples demolished. Mostly through Islamic conquest but also British conquest. And in protecting our cultural heritage, thousands sacrificed their lives in service to the Motherland.”

“Fast forward to modern times, and we are now a hugely diverse country – both religiously and culturally. But India’s original identity cannot be separated from its spiritual root. The Ramayana is essentially, a tale of values. Deep teachings, codes and guidance in navigating consciousness for those who seek,” wanderingkamya said.

The Hindu blogger received a lot of hate texts for her post following which she suffered a breakdown. Kamya was deeply hurt by the comments she received and the bullying she suffered. With tears in her eyes, she emphasised the horror that Hindus had to endure during invasions by Islamic tyrants and later, colonisation by the British. For that, she was subjected to a torrent of online mob bullying.

In her Instagram stories, she shared screenshots of the targeted campaign against her where bullies had photoshopped images of her tearful face in order to make hurtful memes.

In another meme, Kamya was equated with a beggar.

Kamya also received rape and death threats for her post celebrating the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan and the spectacle that ensued.

Individuals, who are known to wax great eloquence on mental health and play the victimhood card whenever people legitimately criticise them for their opinions, jumped on the opportunity to bully Kamya.

In her final comments to the whike episode, wanderingkamya said, “Our temples didn’t magically vanish. They were destroyed. Ancestors didn’t vanish. They were killed. History is whitewashed, to the point where it is denied.” She continued, “Who are you to tell me what my real life human experience is being attacked for celebrating Hindu culture in India when I wasn’t ever attacked in the UK? Who are you to tell me that sadhus don’t matter? Who are you to tell me what my ancestors fought for? Who are you to tell me my sentiments shouldn’t be hurt when comedians abuse Hindu Gods?”

wanderingkamya is an Instagram blogger who regularly speaks up for Hindu culture. In the past, she has spoken against the cultural appropriation of Hindu traditions and customs by ‘spirituality influencers’. She is also the founder of the Psychedelic Society India, an organisation that focus on spreading awareness about psychedelic drugs, widely believed to trigger intense spiritual experiences.

Married Hindu woman abducted, forcibly converted to Islam and married by her abductor in Pakistan: Watch video

The brutalities against minorities continue unabated in the terrorist state of Pakistan as yet another deplorable act of abduction of minority Hindus has been reported from the country after a young Hindu woman named Kavita was abducted and forcibly married off in Sindh, Pakistan.

According to activist Rahat Austin, few armed men led by one person named as Muhammad Adil entered a house of Hindus on Thursday, attacked the entire family and abducted a woman identified as Kavita from her village in Rajamari, Sindh. The armed Muslim mob kidnapped the Hindu woman to sexually exploit her, the activist said.

Kavita is already married to a person named Himraj Kohli. The Hindu family soon lodged a complaint at a local police station in Pangrio. However, the police have refused to help the family, Rahat Austin said.

The family of the victim said that the abductors had threatened to rape and murder Kavita after brutally attacking the entire family.

Hindu women forcefully converted and married off

A day later, Kavita has been forcefully converted into Islam and made to marry the abductor, despite the fact that she is already married. In the below video, it can be seen how the lady is being forced into marriage to the abductor Muhammad Adil, who is sitting next to her.

Atrocities on Hindus in the Sindh province of Pakistan, which is home to nearly 90 per cent of Pakistan’s Hindu population has increased lately.

Recently, Pakistani activist Rahat Austin had reported a gruesome incident in which Hindu youth was brutally murdered by slitting his throat. The dead body of a Hindu youth named, Mohan Bagari, was recovered from the river in Hala city, which is a Taluka in Mitiari district of Sindh, Pakistan.

102 Hindus in Sindh forced to take up Islam

Last month, we had reported how 102 Hindus were forcibly converted to Islam in the Golarchi district which falls under Badin district of Sindh province, Pakistan. This was not all, it has also been reported that all the idols of Hindu gods kept in a local temple were destroyed and the premises was converted into a mosque.

14-year-old Hindu girl abducted in Sindh

In fact, last month the activist had shared a video, where the mother of an abducted Hindu girl was seen broken down with grief. She kept on saying that “It’s a curse to be born in an Islamic country.” In the incident, which reportedly happened on 27th June in Saedabad, Hala Mitiari, of Sindh province Pakistan, a 14-year-old Hindu girl was abducted and taken for sexual exploitation. She was also forced to convert to Islam, confirmed Rahat Austin.

Pakistan has a history of atrocities against the minority community. Non-Muslims in Pakistan, Hindus especially are persecuted greatly by the Muslims of the country. Women are raped at an alarming frequency, forcibly converted to Islam and life is made hell for them.
