Evidences prove that Hindus have always believed Ram Janmasthan is the place where Babri Mosque was built: Addendum to Ayodhya Verdict

0

The Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute has been declared. The judgment has ruled that Muslims will be provided with an alternate piece of land for a Mosque while the Ram Janambhoomi has been awarded to the proponents of a Bhavya Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

In its unanimous judgment, the Court accepted the ASI report which confirmed the presence of a Hindu structure beneath the Mosque. It also accepted that the auspicious site has always sacred to Hindus. An addendum to the judgment by an unnamed judge goes into great depth of the beliefs of the Hindus regarding Ram Janmabhoomi. The judge considered credible historical literary sources as confirmation of the beliefs of Hindus regarding the site. The 116 page addendum has been included in the 1045 page Ayodhya verdict.

1. The Ain-i-Akbari

The Ain-i-Akbari  is a 16th-century document that recorded the administration of the Mughal Empire under Emperor Akbar, written by his court historian, Abu’l Fazl in the Persian language. The judge noted in his addenda, “The A-in-i-Akbari is an attestation of the faith and beliefs held by Hindus in the period of Emperor Akbar. Ayodhya was mentioned as the residence of Ramachandra, who was further described as Avatar, i.e., incarnation of Vishnu. A specific statement has been made that during the Treta Yuga on the ninth of the light half of the month of Chaitra in the city of Ayodhya, of Kausalya wife of Raja Dasaratha, Lord Ram was born.”

He continued, “The A-in-i-Akbari unmistakeably refers Ayodhya as one of the holiest places of antiquity. The above statement in Ain-e-Akbari clearly indicate that faith and belief of Hindus was that Ayodhya is a holiest place and birthplace of Lord Ram, the incarnation of Vishnu, which belief was continuing since before period of Akbar and still continues as on date.”

2. William Finch

William Finch was an English merchant in the service of the East India Company (EIC). He travelled to India along with Captain Hawkins during the reign of Mughal emperor Jehangir. The two of them attended the emperor at the Mughal court and established trade relations between England and India. The judge took into account his travel account that has been published by William Foster in his book “Early Travels in India”.

The judge noted, “William Finch mentioned about ruins of the Ramachandra’s castle and houses. The travel accounts also noticed the belief of Indians that Ramchandra was born, who took flesh upon him.”

3. Father Joseph Tieffenthaler

Father Joseph Tieffenthaler was a Jesuit missionary and one of the earliest geographers to write about India. He visited India between 1766-1771 A.D. He wrote the historical and geographical description of India in Latin which was later translated into French. English translation of the work was filed before the High Court as Ext. 133 (Suit-5) and the Court extensively relied on it.

The Supreme Court judge drew three important conclusions from the missionary’s account that “need to be noted. The judge stated, “First, that Emperor Aurengzebe got the fortress called Ramcot demolished and got a Muslim temple, with triple domes, constructed at the same place. It further states that fourteen black stone pillars of 5 span high, which had existed at the site of the fortress, are seen there. Twelve of these pillars now support the interior arcades of the mosque. Two (of these 12) are placed at the entrance of the cloister.”

He continued, “Second that, on the left is seen a square box raised 5 inches above the ground, with borders made of lime, with a length of more than 5 ells and a maximum width of about 4 ells, which is called Bedi (i.e. the “cradle”) by the Hindus. The reason for the faith and belief was also that there was a house where Beschan (Vishnu) was born in the form of Ram.”

“Third, that Aurengzebe or Babar got this place razed in order to deny the noble people, the opportunity of practicing their superstitions. However, there still exists some superstitious cult in some place or other. Since in the place where the native house of Ram existed, the Hindus go around 3 times and prostrate on the floor,” the judge concluded.

4. Guru Nanak’s visit

The addendum takes note of the Janma Sakhies which record a description of Guru Nanak’s visit to Ayodhya. As per he Janma Saihies, Guru Nanak had visited Ayodhya for Darshan of Ram Janma Bhumi in the year 1510 AD, even before the construction of the mosque in 1528. This record supports the claim of Hindus that there was a temple in Ayodhya which was regarded as the birthplace of Bhagwan Ram, the judge says.

5. Other Evidence

The judge also noted that the Babri Masjid was always referred to as “Mosque Janma Sthan” in the official documents, orders and correspondences of the British government. The judge says that it “clearly indicates that Government officers at that time always treated the mosque as situated at Janma Sthan.”

The judge also mentions various officials using the same name for the Masjid or “Janma Sthan Mosque”. The judge says, “The above also clearly proves that even the Government officers referred the Mosque as Janam Sthan Mosque, which is fully corroborates the statements in Gazetteers as noted and extracted above that Babri Mosque was constructed at the Janam Sthan of Lord Ram.” The judge also notes P. Carnegy who said, “Ayodhya is to Hindu what Macca is to the Mohamedan and Jerusalem to the Jews.”

Conclusion

Apart from all of this, the judge has relied on a plethora of other evidence to come to the conclusion that Hindus have always considered the site as Ram Janmabhoomi. He concludes, “It is thus concluded on the conclusion that faith and belief of Hindus since prior to construction of Mosque and subsequent thereto has always been that Janmaasthan of Lord Ram is the place where Babri Mosque has been constructed which faith and belief is proved by documentary and oral evidence discussed above.”

Owaisi is a traitor, has no faith in India, doesn’t have the ‘aukaat’ to divide India: Baba Ramdev

Ram Mandir will be built at Ayodhya. The Supreme Court today in a historic verdict ruled in favour of Ram Lalla and said that the Central Government should build a trust which will then construct the temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi. The Supreme Court also ruled that the Muslim party should be given 5-acre land where a mosque will be built.

Reactions have been pouring in on the verdict since then. Lashing out at the Supreme Court’s verdict, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi ‘rejected’ the 5 acres of land offered by the apex court saying, “We were fighting for our right, we don’t need 5 acres of land as a donation, we should reject this offer”.

Owaisi went on, “Supreme Court is Supreme but not infallible. Those who were responsible for razing down the Babri mosque in 1992 have been given the responsibility of forming a trust and building a temple there. I am dissatisfied with the judgment.” Now, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has slammed Owaisi in his appearance at Republic TV.

Ramdev called Owaisi a traitor. He said, “I am calling him a traitor because he does not have faith in Bharat or Bharatiyata. He has a religious agenda and he wants to secure his power using this agenda and wants to incite people.”

“He does not want Hindus and Muslims to live in peace. He wants to create communal fights in the country and wants to divide India. There will be no talk of Hindu Rashtra or Islam Rashtra. This is Bharat, this is Hindustan,” Ramdev stated. “If Owaisi has his way, he would create another ‘fasaad in the country like the Nizam’s time but he doesn’t have the aukaat (capability) to partition Hindustan,” he added referring to the Hyderabad Nizam’s attempt to create a Muslim-ruled sovereign nation inside Indian territory after Independence.

Ahead of the verdict, Baba Ramdev had appealed to people to respect the verdict that was to be announced. “The verdict on the matter of Ram Mandir which is to be announced by the Supreme Court must be respected by everyone as the country is governed by the Constitution, and the Supreme Court of India is the apex constitutional body in the country. So to respect the Supreme Court’s decision is equivalent to respecting the nation itself,” he had said.

Struggle for Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will remain a high point for Hindu civilization

Shri Ram is coming back to Ayodhya. People are born and people die. Generations come and generations go. Rarely does it happen that we have moments where the life of an entire generation is infused with meaning? This is one such moment. And we are living it. Congratulations to all.

We are alive. Here and now.

The struggle for Ram Mandir will remain forever one of the high points of Hindu civilization. How lucky we are to be witnessing the final chapter in that history.

The first thing to do today would be to remember the five centuries of Hindu lives that were denied the right to worship at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. Today, they live through us.

Then, there are the people who helped raise the struggle for Ram Mandir to a crescendo.

They inspired a whole generation of young Indians who discovered that it was okay to be a Hindu: LK Advani, Kalyan Singh, Ashok Singhal, Uma Bharti, Sadhvi Rithambhara.

Working in the background at the time was a young swayamsevak, mostly unknown to the public at the time. He is now Prime Minister of India and his government will have the good fortune of building the Ram Mandir.

Around the same time, India was becoming independent from a Communist-style economy. Young India realized that we neither had to be poor nor ashamed of ourselves. The barriers existed only in our imagination.

Then came the Vajpayee government, which ordered the Archaeological Survey of India to excavate the land on which the Babri Masjid had once stood. For decades, Hindu beliefs about the Ram Janmabhoomi and the temple that had stood there had been dismissed by “historians” on the glamour roll of the Congress establishment. The ASI excavation left no room for doubt that a temple did once exist there. This remains the single most important step towards the judgement that we have today.

The most ironic moment in the Ram Mandir movement is September 2010, when the Allahabad High Court handed down its verdict. The High Court opted for a compromise: two-thirds of the Ram Janmabhoomi site to Hindu parties (including compulsorily the space under the central dome of the Babri Masjid) and the remaining one-third to Muslim parties. It could have marked the end of the movement and the beginning of Ram Mandir construction.

But one side welcomed the verdict, while the other refused to accept the settlement. If not for the intransigence of the latter and their insistence to drag the matter to the Supreme Court, we would not have seen this day.

What happens is always for the best. You will find this line in “Gita Saar,” displayed prominently in numerous Hindu homes.

The judgement also leaves us with a great and historic challenge, one that is an honour for our generation to accept. We have to conceptualize, design and realize a grand Ram Temple that will do justice to the five hundred years of Ram Mandir movement. An epitome of Hindu civilization that the whole world will come to see for thousands of years.

And it all began on November 9, 2019.

On this day, let us remember the people who lived and died for this temple.  From the ones who lost their lives to police bullets to the ones who perished in S-6 compartment of Sabarmati Express at Signal Falia near Godhra on Feb 27, 2002.

They did their best to wipe these people out of our memory. To defame them. To stamp them as villains. The truth won.

CJI Ranjan Gogoi said that the bench is the final arbitrator in the matter and he said that the court is not obligated to give a religious rationale while deciding the case.

We don’t want donation, we don’t need 5 acres land: AIMIM chief Owaisi whines after SC verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi

Lashing out at the Supreme Court’s verdict in the long-drawn-out Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi ‘rejected’ the 5 acres of land offered by the apex court saying, “We were fighting for our right, we don’t need 5 acres of land as a donation, we should reject this offer”.

Addressing the media, Owaisi blasted, “Supreme Court is Supreme but not infallible. Those who were responsible for razing down the Babri mosque in 1992 have been given the responsibility of forming a trust and building a temple there. I am dissatisfied with the judgment.”

“The Sunni Waqf Board did a commendable job in fighting for our legal rights. It is upon them to study the entire verdict and decide the future course of action. I am dissatisfied with the verdict. I believe they should reject the 5-acres land granted to them as alms. We are fighting for our legal rights. We don’t need donation and stop patronising us,” Owaisi said.

Owaisi admitted that he was hurt by the judgment of the Supreme Court which offered the title to the Hindu parties while providing a 5-acres land elsewhere to the Muslim side for the construction of the mosque. “The matter is about faith. Today faith has trumped over facts. I will tell my posterity that there was a 500-year-old mosque here in Ayodhya which was demolished by Sangh Parivar and the court granted them authority to build a temple there,” Owaisi said.

Asserting that the event on December 6, 1992, was a crucial determinant to the current verdict, Owaisi insinuated that the Supreme Court’s judgment came in favour of a Ram Temple at the disputed site only because the mosque was already razed down. “What do you think the Supreme Court’s decision would have been in case the mosque was not demolished?” Owaisi rhetorically questioned. He further asserted that the latest verdict will throw open a can of worms as it will serve to bolster the morale of Sangh Parivar, who will now lay claim to other ‘Muslim’ sites where mosques are standing.

This astrologer had predicted exactly when Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be a reality

The Supreme Court of India has announced the historic verdict over the title suit in the Ram Janmabhoomi case. With the announcement of the verdict, that said the site to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, a decades-old legal battle has finally come to an end.

As Hindus finally rejoice the ownership of their lord’s birthplace after the centuries-long political, ideological and legal tussle, there are certain unusual facets of the long process that are emerging.

Anirudh Kumar Mishra, an astrologer who is quite active on social media platforms had 2 years ago predicted the probable time when Hindus will see the fruition of their long quest to over the Ram Janmabhoomi site. In November 2017, Mishra had stated that there are 2 years and 3 months left for the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Anirudh Mishra via Twitter

Mishra’s prediction was made on November 15, 2017. The SC in its verdict today stated that the formerly disputed site will be handed over to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas and the central government will, within 3 months, formulate a scheme envisaging setting up of Trust to built the Ram Mandir. Possession of inner and outer courtyards to be handed over to the Trust.

However, it is not always that Mishra’s predictions come true. Earlier, his predictions over India’s performance in the cricket world cup and several state elections had proven to be wrong. However, the astrologer himself has admitted that some of his calculations can go wrong and he predicts what he reads.

Mishra had also predicted in 2017 that the BJP will form government in Haryana again which has already come true. However, he has stated recently that the Shiv Sena will be humiliated due to Sanjay Raut and will have to come back to BJP, eventually making Devendra Fadnavis the CM of Maharashtra for the second time. That is yet to see fruition as no clear picture has emerged from Maharashtra yet.

Gujarat: Sweets distributed outside VHP headquarters after SC clears deck for Ram Mandir on Ram Janmabhoomi

0

The Supreme Court on Saturday, in a historic decision, accepted the Hindu claim and handed over the Ram Janmbhoomi site to Hindus to build Ram Mandir and finally end the century-long dispute. A celebratory mood has set in after the five-judge bench unanimously came to this decision after weighing the arguments presented by all sides for 40 days. Volunteers at the VHP headquarters in Gujarat, have been distributing sweets to passerby’s after the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya came in earlier in the day.

In order to maintain law and order, directives were issued to the volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) to refrain from taking out processions or raising slogans if the upcoming judgment in the Babri Mosque-Ram Temple title suitcase comes in their favour. Issuing guidelines, the two prominent Hindu groups had told workers that they could light lamps in their houses, distribute sweets and visit temples to celebrate.

Ahead of the judgement, the VHP had appealed to its cadres to remain calm and refrain from provocative remarks. In a letter to its workers, VHP central vice-president Champat Rai had said, “The verdict should not be a matter of Hindus and Muslims. It is about accepting the truth. So, do not create a celebratory frenzy in society and nobody should be taunted.”

Since 1990, for the first time in three decades, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had stopped stone carving work for the construction of a Ram Mandir in anticipation of the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya case. The stone carving work near the Ram Janmabhoomi site has been continuing non-stop since 1990.

The carving of stones for the construction of a Ram Temple was started by the VHP at the Ram Mandir Nirmaan Karyashala at Ayodhya in 1990 when Mulayam Singh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party was Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The carving work by artisans had been carried out uninterrupted since then.

The carving had reportedly continued even when VHP and RSS were banned for 6 months after Babri demolition in 1992.

The Nyas workshop at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya has reportedly been attracting a large number of visitors as the verdict day comes nearer.

According to the VHP, nearly 1.25 lakh cubic feet of stone has already been carved. As per the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, the entire temple will be made of red stone and will have no ironwork.

Meanwhile, the 5-judge bench said that the Central Govt should within 3 months formulate a scheme envisaging setting up of Trust to build the Ram Mandir. Possession of inner and outer courtyards to be handed over to the Trust. Delivering the much-anticipated verdict, CJI Ranjan Gogoi said that this court must accept faith and belief of worshippers. The Apex court also ordered the union government to provide 5 acres of land at an alternate site at a prominent location in Ayodhya to the Sunni Waqf Board to rebuild the Babri Masjid which was demolished in 1992.

It may be noted that while the Ram Mandir will be built by a trust constituted by the central government, the Sunni Waqf Board will build the mosque on the plot given to them by the government.

Ayodhya Verdict: Security beefed up across country, schools and colleges remains close as SC delivers historic decision

Security has been beefed up across the country following the historic judgement of the Supreme Court to hand over the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya land to the Hindu parties, making way for Hindu devotees to have a grand Ram Mandir at the birthplace of Lord Ram.

The historic temple town of Ayodhya has been turned into a fortress with the deployment of 60 companies of the PAC and paramilitary forces. The state administration has installed drones and CCTV cameras, which will also be used to monitor the situation at the city after the Supreme Court delivered its judgment in the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case on Saturday.

Social media posts are also being monitored across the state of Uttar Pradesh to prevent frenzy atmosphere as inflammatory content could be published across platforms in the light of Supreme Court judgement on Ayodhya dispute.

The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government had earlier declared that all educational institutions will remain closed in UP from Saturday to Monday as a precautionary measure. Section 144 of CrPC, which prohibits the gathering of more than four people, has been clamped in entire Uttar Pradesh.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, schools and colleges across the country are to be remained closed from Saturday. The Karnataka government declared that all schools and colleges in the state will remain closed on November 9 in view of the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya land dispute case.

Restrictions have also been imposed in Jammu and Kashmir with schools and colleges to remain closed today. “Restrictions under Section 144 of the CrPC have been imposed in Jammu and Kashmir in view of the SC verdict as a precautionary measure,” DGP Dilbag Singh.

Similarly, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have also declared a holiday for all educational institutes in the state in view of the verdict.

Apart from that, states and Union Territories have increased the presence of security forces on the streets. Additional forces have been deployed in sensitive areas and all jails have been put on high alert. The security arrangements have been made to ensure the safety and security of religious places across the country.

Delhi Police have also beefed up security across the national capital. The deputy commissioners of police of all districts, along with the station house officers, have been ordered to remain vigilant and patrol forces in communally sensitive areas.

PM Modi subtly chides Pakistan Prime Minister on Kartarpur Corridor inauguration, refers to him with his full name ‘Imran Khan Niazi’

Referring to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan by his full name ‘Imran Khan Niazi’ Prime Minister Modi subtly chided the former by reminding him of the genocide perpetrated by Pakistan on its own people during 1971 war in Bangladesh and the role of Lt. Gen. A A K Niazi. Imran Khan and Lt Gen Niazi both belong to the same Niazi tribe of Pashtun ethnicity. On 16th December, 1971, the Eastern Command of Pakistan led by Lt. Gen. A K K Niazi signed the Instrument of Surrender in presence of India’s Lt Gen Jagjit Singh Aurora, which led to formation of Bangladesh.

PM Modi said he would like to thank Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Niazi for respecting the sentiments of India. PM Modi was speaking at the opening of Kartarpur Corridor today which marks the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, founder of Sikhism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Integrated Check Post, a passenger terminal building where pilgrims will get clearance to travel through the 4.5 km-long corridor. Until last year, Indian Sikh pilgrims had to cover an arduous 125-km long journey via Lahore to pay a visit to the Kartarpur gurdwara.

The Prime minister flagged off the first batch of over 500 Indian pilgrims that will travel to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Narowal district of Pakistan’s Punjab province through the Kartarpur corridor.

Addressing a public gathering at Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, PM Modi dedicated the corridor to the nation and congratulated everyone in India and across the world on this occasion. “I congratulate all of my Sikh brothers and sisters in India and around the world on the inauguration of Karatarpur corridor”, says PM Modi.

After the construction of this corridor, darshan of the Gurudwara Darbar Saheb will become easy said Modi while addressing the gathering at Dera Baba Nanak. He dwelled upon Guru Nanak’s preachings and said may the teachings of Guru Nanak flourish. “It is said that words always exist in the atmosphere in the form of energy”, the energy of Guruvani from Kartarpur will give blessings not only to our Sikh brothers but also to every Indian said PM Modi, informing that efforts are being made to turn Sultanpur Lodhi into a heritage town.

“Guru Nanak Devji to Guru Govind Ji, then every Guru Sahib has made continuous efforts, made many sacrifices for the unity, defence and security of India,” PM Modi said that this tradition has been carried on with full vigour by the Sikh community in the freedom struggle and the defence of independent India.

“Our guru tradition, saint tradition, sage tradition, have suggested ways to deal with the challenges at different stages. Their paths were as meaningful then as they are today. Every saint, every guru has been urging towards national unity and national consciousness and we will keep up with this spirit and tradition”, he said.He further asked everyone present there to pledge that they will make Guru Nanak’s preachings a part of their lives and put in efforts to create harmony within the society.

Speaking about the successful removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister said that the Sikhs living in the Valley will now get all the facilities which they have been deprived off until now. Moreover, due to the consistent efforts and decisions of the Central government, the problems which Sikhs abroad were facing while travelling to India have been removed, said PM Modi. Further, he expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government, Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee for every labour partner who built this corridor in due time.

PM Modi had reached Amritsar airport this morning and paid obeisance at historic Ber Sahib Gurdwara, before heading for Dera Baba Nanak where he inaugurated the passenger terminal building of the Kartarpur Corridor. BJP MP from Gurdaspur, Sunny Deol, Union Minister Hardeep Puri and Shiromani Akali Dal’s Sukhbir Badal accompanied the PM at Dera Baba Nanak.

The corridor is being inaugurated almost a year after the foundation stone was laid down on the Indian side on November 26, 2018. Two days later, the foundation stone had been laid on the Pakistani side. This landmark people-to-people initiative comes against the backdrop of strained bilateral ties between the two countries over the issue of Kashmir.

The design of the state-of-the-art passenger terminal building is inspired by “Khanda”, a symbol of faith in the Sikh community. The fully air-conditioned building has over 50 immigration counters for facilitating about 5,000 pilgrims a day. The project was executed by a central government agency-Land Ports Authority of India. It has all the necessary public amenities such as kiosks, washrooms, childcare, first aid medical facilities, prayer room and snacks counters inside the main building. The national flag has been hoisted at the site on a 300-ft-tall post.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will open the Kartarpur Corridor ahead of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak on November 12.

Ayodhya verdict should not be seen as win or lose, everyone should come together to build the Ram Mandir: Mohan Bhagwat

0

Reacting to the Supreme Court judgement paving away for construction of the Ram Mandir at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the verdict should not be seen from the angle of win or lose, and everyone should come together to build the mandir.

Addressing a press conference after the supreme court verdict, Bhagwat said that RSS welcomes the decision. He said that the case was going on for decades and it has reached the right conclusion. He also appealed everyone to maintain peace and harmony in society. The RSS chief said they want to end the fight and discord between the two communities.

Bhagwat said that RSS hopes that the government will soon initiate steps to end the dispute between the parties as per the Supreme Court verdict. Forgetting everything from the past, we all should perform our duties to construct a grand temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site by everyone coming together.

When asked about 5-acres of land given to Muslim parties, the RSS chief said that they respect the verdict of the Supreme Court, and we all should end the fights and disputes. When asked whether RSS wants the land to be given to Sunni Waqf Board should be inside Ayodhya or outside, he said that RSS has nothing to say on this. Supreme Court had given the verdict, which will be followed as per laws. We don’t have to give land, the government has to give, they will decide that.

When asked whether RSS will take up the Mathura and Kashi issues after this, Bhagwat said that RSS is not an organisation meant for launching agitations. ‘RSS will only focus on character building from now on and not be involved in any future agitation’, he said.

In a historic judgement, the 5-judge bench of Supreme Court headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi handed over the entire Ram Janmabhoomi site of 2.77 acres in Ayodhya for construction of the Ram Mandir. At the same time, the court asked the government to provide 5 acres of land at a prominent place in Ayodhya to the Muslim parties represented by the Sunni Waqf Board. The apex court has asked the central government to formulate a scheme for the same within 3 months. The government will have to form a board of trustees for construction of the temple.
