On June 24, a Hindu boy underwent a forceful circumcision performed by a doctor named Javed Khan while he was originally scheduled to undergo tongue surgery. Upon discovering this distressing situation, the boy’s family protested outside the hospital and was supported by several members of a Hindu organization.
Disturbing visuals of the incident have surfaced on social media, where a large mob, including children, are throwing stones at a badly injured Usman Buda as he tries to get up, stumbles and falls.
The lane in which the deceased Kanhaiya Lal had his shop has 15-20 other shops out of which only two are currently operating. The local shopkeepers also refused to talk to the media fearing that they would be targeted by the Islamists for speaking on the issue.
DCP Shahdara, Rohit Meena said, "After examining the CCTV footage, it was found that these robbers had created panic in many areas. We have recovered the pistol."
