Investigation has revealed that Farhan and his associates shared obscene videos of the victims among themselves.

Naryavalli MLA Pradeep Lariya claimed that this was the fifth incident of this kind in the area. He demanded the filing of an FIR.

"At around 1 pm, during 'Zohar' prayers, a dispute broke out between Shakil Ahmad, president of the Muslim Festival Committee, and one Syed Sawesh Ali over wearing the black armband as part of the protest," said Sub Inspector Rajkumar Singh Choudhary.

Now the CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced. In the video, it can be seen a large number of Muslims gathered on the road with their faces covered with clothes. These mobsters had sticks in one hand while with the other hand, they were picking up stones and hitting the people involved in the celebratory rally.

Hindu organisations said that illegal activities have been taking place inside the Tamkhan mosque. The accused are also said to be involved in illegal mining in the area.
