There has been a counter-letter from 8 former judges, 97 retired bureaucrats, and 92 armed forces veterans who have slammed the group of ex-bureaucrats for their politically motivated letter.
Speaking to the delegation, PM Modi praised the contribution of the Sikh community saying, "India and India's history both are incomplete without Sikhs."
Now in yet another move, over a hundred ex-bureaucrats have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to condemn the "politics of hate" allegedly practised by state governments under BJP's control.
The PM also laid the foundation of various projects that include Veterinary College (Diphu), Degree College (West Karbi Anglong), and Agricultural College (Kolonga, West Karbi Anglong).
"The petrol prices in some states are way higher than in others. This is not only an injustice to the people living in these states but it also affects the neighboring states," PM Modi added
