The family of the deceased Hindu girl has alleged mounting pressure to embrace Christianity as the cause of her death.

The FIR was filed based on the complaint registered by a University's former student named Savendra Vikram Singh on January 20. The complainant stated that he was forced to convert his religion to Christianity in exchange for a job, money, and 'marriage to a beautiful girl' in Fatehpur.

The Court pointed out that the merits of the case will only be considered after Varyava Abdul Vahab Mahmood complies with its order.
