On Wednesday, following Gauri Lankesh’s murder in Bengaluru, Kerala Congress handle on Twitter posted a picture of Lankesh’s dead body lying in pool of blood with map of India drawn around her claiming this is how India will look without Congress.
Soon after realising how insensitive it looked, Kerala Congress deleted the above tweet.
Karnataka is with Congress, you nitwits. From Kalburgi to Gauri. Shame on you for using #IamGauri dead body to gain votes. https://t.co/zZeSs5aHj6

The irony, dear @INCIndia is that #GauriLankesh was murdered in a Congress ruled state. So was Dabholkar and so was Kalburgi! #Fact pic.twitter.com/xHJ5ZdZeyb

The handle also got criticised for using a murder for political gains.

Some even called INC Kerala out for the using a dead body for a photo-op.
Here’s @INCIndia ,making a photo-op of d dead body of d same woman who believed in them. This is how badly they crave for power. @INCKerala pic.twitter.com/aXR8FqMLea
