In one of the biggest crime mysteries in the country involving the wife of a senior Congress politician, Shashi Tharoor is set to be charged with abetment to suicide and destruction of evidence.

We had earlier reported that Delhi Police had informed the Supreme Court that they will file the status report in the Sunanda Pushkar Murder Case within a week. A close aide of BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, has hailed the most recent development as a vindication for Swamy who has been fighting the case in the Court for a long time.

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in a hotel room at Delhi on January 17, 2014. Earlier, AIIMS had confirmed that hers was an unnatural death.
