It has been exactly a year since the landmark Goods and Services Tax was implemented by the Narendra Modi government. While the Congress has constantly maligned the attempt of the government to homogenise indirect taxation, the industry has largely hailed it as a reform of the decade.

However, the misinformation campaign in the media and by the opposition has been relentless. As the reform completes one year today, Ashutosh Muglikar explains the hits and misses of this reform in this latest episode of ‘The Right Picture’.
