Saved in 90 seconds: How crew of Japan Airlines plane, which was engulfed in flames, safely evacuated all onboard

On Tuesday night (2nd January), Japan Airlines flight 516 caught fire while landing in Tokyo’s Haneda airport after colliding with a coast guard plane.

Five of six people died on the coast guard plane that was enroute to provide earthquake disaster relief. However, all passengers including the crew onboard the JA flight were rescued safely.

Videos viral on social media showed sparks emanating from the plane the very moment it landed on the tarmac. In seconds, flames began to engulf the plane.

Footage from inside the plane showed smoke filling the cabin while the crew gave instructions to the passengers. However, the smoke was light and hence did not lead to any suffocation.

Experts have lauded the efforts of the cabin crew for the smooth evacuation. Channel News Asia (CNA) quoted experts saying that passengers followed emergency protocols as old and did not try to take their belongings.

Moreover, the aircraft’s exit slides worked despite being used to their full capacity. This enabled all 367 passengers and 12 crew members to exit in 90 seconds. No one suffered any major injury.

CNA quoted Assistant professor of aviation and integrated systems engineering Shawn Pruchnicki from Ohio State University saying that the speed of evacuation was “amazing”.

He pointed that if the evacuation was indeed in 90 seconds then that could be owing to the passengers not trying to grab their luggage.

Pruchnicki said that one major hindrance during evacuation in such situations is that people try to grab their bags before departing. Luggage is also potentially damaging to the inflated exit slides.

Mr Desmond Ross, managing director of aviation and air transport consultancy Ireland Pegasus Aviation Advisors said, “The flight attendants on the aircraft have done a marvellous job in opening the doors and actually mustering the passengers to get them to the doors. It’s only from that moment that it got a little confusing with people trying to run down the slides instead of sliding down them.”

“But it is truly remarkable that they were able to achieve that without any major injuries,” he said.

It is a standard operating procedure for designers of the aircraft to give a demonstration that passengers can exit the plane in 90-second.

Mr Geoffrey Thomas, editor-in-chief of airline safety website Airlineratings.com reportedly said that aircraft are certified up to a level whereby all passengers can exit in 90 seconds using only half the emergency slides.

“In this case, I could only see three slides deployed, and there are about 10 (exits with) five exits on either side. So this is an amazing escape (and) a miracle,” Thomas said.

Experts also pointed out that the high quality modern materials used in the making of the aircraft also helped. They pointed that even though the plane was charred, its parts were intact.

The pilot of the Japanese Airlines flight halted the skidding aircraft on its nose while the crew issued instructions through phone as the PA system was damaged.

The passengers were also seated with composure heeding instructions.

A pilot and founder of a US-based aviation safety consultancy, John Cox reportedly said that the cabin crew “did a remarkably great job”. “It shows good training. And if you look at the video, people are not trying to get stuff out of the overheads. They are concentrating on getting out of the plane.”

Videos of evacuation showed people sliding on the exit slides and running across the tarmac to safey while the fire continued to spread even as firefighters were trying to put out the flames.

The reason behind the collision between the two aircraft remains unclear. Investigation is underway.

In 1985, a Japan Airlines flight crashed into a mountain near Tokyo killing 520 people marking the worst accident in the history aviation disasters.

Ethanol blending saved ₹24,300 crore foreign exchange in 2022-23, 20% blended petrol will be available in the entire country by 2025: Hardeep Singh Puri

Blending of ethanol into petrol has resulted in savings of over Rs 24,300 crore of foreign exchange in the supply year 2022-23, said Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri on Wednesday.

Public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) have saved about 509 crore litres of petrol on account of ethanol blending during the ethanol supply year 2022-23, besides leading to an expeditious payment of about Rs 19,300 crore to farmers.

It is estimated that a net reduction of net carbon dioxide to the tune of 108 lakh metric tonnes was seen during the period.

Notably, as recently as last week, oil marketing companies in the public sector announced an incentive of Rs 6.87 per litre for the production of ethanol from C-heavy molasses.

The oil companies believe this incentive would maximise ethanol production from the C molasses route and improve the overall availability of ethanol for the ethanol blended petrol programme.

C-molasses is a by-product of sugar factories and its use for ethanol production is an effective way to promote a green economy.

India has already rolled out 20 per cent blended fuel, though in a phased manner, in April 2023 and widespread availability is expected in days to come.

The government is ambitious of attaining 20 per cent ethanol-blended petrol by 2024-25 and 30 per cent by 2029-30. The government has advanced the target of E20 fuel from 2030 to 2025.

E20 blending in petrol was introduced by the Centre to reduce the country’s oil import cost, energy security, lower carbon emissions and better air quality.

The number of retail outlets retailing E20 fuel is now more than 9,300 and will cover the entire country by 2025, Puri said today.

The Food Ministry in early December directed sugar mills not to use cane juice or syrup to produce ethanol.

In a U-turn, the central government in mid-December allowed the utilisation of juice as well as B-heavy molasses to produce ethanol but capped the diversion of sugar at 17 lakh tonnes for the current marketing season.

Notably, at the COP26 summit in Glasgow in 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi committed to an ambitious five-part “Panchamrit” pledge, including reaching 500 GW of non-fossil electricity capacity, generating half of all energy requirements from renewables, and reducing emissions by 1 billion metric tonnes by 2030.

India also aims to reduce the emissions intensity of GDP by 45 per cent. Finally, India commits to net-zero emissions by 2070.

The minister also noted that the growth-energy correlation is evident in India as it is now the world’s 3rd largest energy consumer, 3rd largest consumer of oil, 3rd Largest LPG consumer, 4th largest LNG importer, 4thlargest refiner and 4th largest automobile market in the world.

Underscoring that India has taken a global leadership role in the Biofuels supply chain with the launch of the Global Biofuels Alliance in September 2023, the minister said that India has been successful in promoting GBA as a pivotal path in the sustainability journey at COP 28 held in December 2023.

During the conference, Hardeep Singh also mentioned about government’s steps to increase share of Natural gas from the present 6.3 percent to 15 percebt in the primary energy mix, saying there will be an investment of $67 Billion in Natural Gas infrastructure in the next 5-6 years.

“This will translate into increase in the gas consumption by over three-fold, from the present level of around 155 MMSCMD (Million Metric Standard Cubic Meters per Day) to over 500 MMSCMD by the year 2030,” the minister noted.

MP: Shajapur collector removed from post after asking ‘aukat’ of a driver, CM Yadav says such behaviour won’t be tolerated

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday removed Shajapur Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal from his post following the official’s rude questioning of a driver’s “aukat” (status) amid a protest by truckers against the new hit-and-run law.

Chief Minister Yadav told ANI, “It was brought to my notice that the language used during the meeting between truck drivers and district administration in Shajapur was not appropriate for an officer. This government is the government of the poor and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we work for the upliftment of the poor. In such a situation, every officer, irrespective of their position, should respect the work of the poor and also respect their feelings.”

“Such language will not tolerated at all in our government. I am myself the son of a labourer and hence I hope that in the future if officials speak such language then they do not have the right to be in the field. I hope that the next officer who will be posted there will take care of the language and behavior. This kind of language hurt me and I will never forgive such things,” he added.

Notably, during the meeting on Tuesday, Shajapur Collector asked a truck driver, “Tumhari aukat kya hai (What is your status?)”.

The Shajapur district administration had organised a meeting with truck drivers to persuade them to end the strike of transporters regarding the new hit-and-run law.

According to a state government order today, Narsinghpur Collector Riju Bafna (IAS) was named as the new collector of Shajapur district while Kanyal was made the state deputy secretary.

Meanwhile, truckers have called off their protest on Tuesday night after Union home secretary Ajay Bhalla said the decision to invoke the new hit-and-run case-related penal provision would be taken only after consultation with the All India Motor Transport Congress.

Notably, the top officials in the Home Ministry said there was confusion among the truckers about Section 106 (2) of the BNS. Under Section 106 (1), the provision of punishment was for 0 to 5 years, under Section 106 (2), the punishment was for 0 to 10 years in ‘Hit and Run’ cases.

Sexual assault in Metaverse: 16-year-old British girl’s avatar virtually ‘gang-raped’ in Meta-owned immersive virtual reality game, UK police launches probe

In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl from the United Kingdom was the victim of a gang rape in the Meta-owned Metaverse in the first incident of alleged rape in a virtual reality game. The British police have opened an inquiry into the matter. Multiple adult men abused her avatar, a digital representation of herself while she was engaged in an immersive online game using an augmented reality headset. Notably, the metaverse is an ambitious technological endeavour by Meta headed by billionaire businessman Mark Zuckerberg.

The minor was not subjected to any injuries to her body as it was a virtual attack, however, the psychological suffering inflicted on her was akin to an attack in the physical world. “This child experienced psychological trauma similar to that of someone who has been physically raped. There is an emotional and psychological impact on the victim that is longer term than any physical injuries. It poses a number of challenges for law enforcement given current legislation is not set up for this,” informed one police official.

The virtual rape took place in Horizon Worlds, the flagship Metaverse game Meta Platforms. It is a multi-player virtual platform where players interact with each other through their avatars, and the game is played using virtual reality headsets.

Ian Critchley, the lead investigator for child abuse and protection at the National Police Chiefs’ Council issued a warning on 31st December and stated that “the metaverse creates a gateway for predators to commit horrific crimes against children.” Concerns that a prosecution might not be viable for several reasons have led to the alarming virtual reality case’s details being kept under wraps to protect the child.

He added, “We know offenders’ tactics to groom and commit offences are constantly evolving. This is why our collective fight against predators like in this case, is essential to ensuring young people are protected online and can use technology safely without threat or fear. The metaverse creates a gateway for predators to commit horrific crimes against children, crimes we know have lifelong impacts both emotionally and mentally. As such, our policing approach must continually evolve to enable us to relentlessly pursue predators and safeguard victims across all online spaces. The passing of the Online Safety Act is instrumental to this, and we must see much more action from tech companies to do more to make their platforms safe places.”

The free virtual reality (VR) online game Horizon Worlds which is owned by Meta has experienced a number of reported sex attacks. The users build their animated online avatars in Horizon Worlds which they can customize and manage while donning their virtual reality headset and related gear. Psychotherapist and metaverse researcher Nina Jane Patel has detailed her “surreal nightmare” of being gang-raped in Horizon Venues.

Women and children should have more protection, per Association of Police and Crime Commissioners chairman Donna Jones who proclaimed, “We need to update our laws because they have not kept pace with the risks of harm that are developing from artificial intelligence and offending on platforms like the metaverse. The Government needs to look at changing the law to protect women and children from harm in these virtual environments.”

According to a top police official, sexual offences in the metaverse are currently “rife.” However, despite cops receiving complaints of other potential infractions, such as the theft of one avatar’s costly sword, no prosecutions for such acts have been brought to justice in the country thus far. The police mentioned that advancements in gaming have created new opportunities for cybercrime, such as malware, fraud, identity theft and virtual robberies.

However, as sexual misconduct is defined by the Sexual Offences Act as the physical touching of another person for sexual purposes without that person’s agreement, it is unlikely that the current laws will extend to rape in the metaverse. Geographical boundaries are additionally blurred by the nature of the metaverse, making it challenging to identify which law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over a given occurrence when users and offenders are in separate locations.

A Meta spokesperson denounced the occurrence and conveyed, “The kind of behaviour described has no place on our platform, which is why for all users we have an automatic protection called personal boundary, which keeps people you don’t know a few feet away from you.” Tech companies, led by co-founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg have wagered billions of pounds to entice individuals of all ages to enter the virtual world of the metaverse where they are offered the opportunity to live digitally enhanced dream lives.

Law enforcement officials are now advocating for legislation to address the surge in sexual crimes in this area noting that enforcement tactics need to change to prevent perverts from exploiting minors using modern technologies. However, given that police and prosecutors are now dealing with a massive backlog of real rape cases, the recent event has raised concerns about whether police should be investigating virtual offences and whether such an attack should be prosecuted under the existing rules.

‘Ram Siya Ram’: Virat Kohli’s gestures during the unofficial entrance song of South African player Keshav Maharaj wins the internet

These days, every time the South African cricketer Keshav Maharaj walks out to bat in South Africa, the DJ always plays ‘Ram Siya Ram’ from the film Aadipurush, and it was no different on Wednesday, 3rd January. During the first morning of the second Test between South Africa and India, as Keshav Maharaj walked out amidst a South African collapse, the song again played on the speakers in the stadium.

During Maharaj’s arrival to the crease, as the song played in the background, former Indian captain Virat Kohli enjoyed it in particular as he made actions to pull a bow and arrow, and later did ‘namaste’ to honour Lord Ram.

This act from Virat Kohli has since gone viral on social media with everyone appreciating him for the gesture.

An X user @SonofChoudhary posted on X – Virat Kohli paying tribute to Shri Ram When DJ was playing ” Ram Siya Ram ” song in Centurion when Keshav Maharaj cm to bat. Virat is A entertainer

Another user coolfunnytshirt posted- Cute act by Virat Kohli with Keshav Maharaj and the Ram Siya Ram song associated with him..

A user named BreatheKohli posted – Kohli during “ Ram siya ram ”, has to be the best thing today

Interestingly, a chat over Indian wicketkeeper and Keshav Maharav had ensued over this very song during the white ball leg of the South African tour.

As soon as Maharaj came out to bat during the 3rd ODI of the tour, the DJ at the venue started playing the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’. Rahul, who was the wicketkeeper in the third ODI, quickly pointed out to Maharaj how the song is always played each time he walked in to bat. Maharaj agreed with a ‘yes’ as Rahul broke into a smile. Looks like the song is played each time Maharaj comes out to bat, whether in Tests or ODIs.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing Test, India, trailing 0-1 in the series, bowled out South Africa for a measly 55 in the first innings. Mohammed Siraj picked up 6 wickets in the demolition job by India.

MP: 70 kgs of beef confiscated from the engagement ceremony of Shabnam Bibi’s daughter in Khandwa, 8 legs of slaughtered cows also recovered

In Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa, beef was being feasted at an engagement ceremony on 2nd January. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the house of the accused and recovered 60 kg of undercooked beef. Along with this, 10 kg of raw beef was also recovered from the fridge. The police have also recovered 8 legs of the slaughtered cows in polythene.

In the Jawar police station jurisdiction of Khandwa, this incident occurred on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024, in Fokatpura Mundwara. During the engagement celebration of Shabnam Bibi’s daughter, Yasra, aged 19, beef was prepared for the attendees. Upon receiving this information, the police promptly arrived at the scene. They confiscated the meat for analysis and initiated an investigation. In addition, family members involved in the event were interrogated following the registration of the case.

During questioning, Shabnam Bibi informed the police that she had purchased the meat for 4000 rupees from Javed, son of Sheikh Babu, known locally for butchering animals. Shabnam claimed ignorance about whether the meat was beef or another type. Subsequently, the police designated Shabnam Bibi’s daughter as the primary accused in the case and filed charges under Section 5/9 of the Cow Progeny Slaughter Prohibition Act 2004, documented in Crime FIR No. 0004/2024.

Acknowledging that the incident occurred during an engagement ceremony, the police exercised restraint. Although the prohibited meat was seized, no immediate arrests were made at the location. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects were summoned for questioning on Wednesday (3rd January). Ganga Prasad Verma, the officer in charge of the Jawar police station in Khandwa, has confirmed the details of the case in an interaction with OpIndia.

Ganga Prasad Verma said that the police team initially visited the area to conduct raids related to a different case. However, they received a tip from an informer about beef being prepared at an engagement party in Fokatpura Mundwara. This led the police to the location. Verma stated that they discovered 60 kg of partially cooked beef and an additional 10 kg stored in a refrigerator at the scene. Moreover, 8 legs, packaged in polythene, were also found on the premises.

Ganga Prasad Verma conveyed that samples of the recovered meat were dispatched to the veterinary hospital in Khandwa for analysis. At the hospital, a team of veterinarians comprising Dr Priya Sisodia, Dr Neeraj Kumud, and Dr Naveen Tiwari conducted the examination. The preliminary verbal report from these tests identified the meat as beef. A comprehensive report is expected to be delivered within 36 hours.

Ganga Prasad Verma noted that the remaining bovine remains were transported back to the police station and disposed of following legal procedures. Addressing the lack of arrests, Verma mentioned that since the incident was associated with an engagement ceremony, stringent measures were not enforced. He emphasised that caution was exercised to prevent any disruption to communal harmony.

Verma stated that an FIR has been filed and the suspects have been summoned for interrogation. He added that as the investigation progresses, additional charges may be applied if deemed necessary. Verma assured that none of the accused will be spared.

Enforcement Directorate raids premises of former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav in forex rules violation case

On 3rd December (Wednesday), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at premises linked with Vaibhav Gehlot as part of an ongoing investigation into a forex violation case. He is a member of the All India Congress Committee and son of Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

The ED action on premises linked with Vaibhav Gehlot is related to an ongoing investigation against a Rajasthan-based hospitality group Triton Hotels and Resorts and its directors and promoters Shiv Shankar Sharma, Rattan Kant Sharma, and others. The case pertains to the alleged violation of the FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act).

Notably, a complaint was filed by two Jaipur residents in 2015. According to the complaint, Vaibhav Gehlot allegedly used a shell company to illegally fund Triton Hotels. It is alleged that he used a Mauritius-based firm named ‘Shivnar Holdings’ which is suspected to be a shell company to route funds to the Triton Hotels.

As per the allegations, around 2,500 shares of the hotel were brought at a higher share price to divert funds into the hotel’s account. The complaint stated that the shares were bought for Rs 39,900 each while the original share price was only Rs 100 for each share.

According to the ED, their probe also revealed that Triton Group had been involved in hawala transactions having cross-border implications.

Meanwhile, earlier in October 2023, ED had issued a summon and asked Vaibhav Gehlot to appear before the investigating officer of the case, at its headquarters on APJ Abdul Kalam Road, under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Subsequently, he visited the agency’s office in Delhi for questioning in connection with the case.

The ED summons was also linked to the agency’s raids conducted today against Rajasthan-based hospitality group Triton Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Vardha Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and its directors and promoters Shiv Shankar Sharma, Rattan Kant Sharma and others.

In August last year, the probe agency had conducted searches at Triton Hotels and its promoters for three days. The raids were carried out at locations in Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi. During these searches, the agency seized unaccounted cash of Rs 1.2 crore.

Love Jihad in Bharuch: Married Adil poses as bachelor Arya Patel to lure a Hindu girl into a relationship; probe launched

0

A case of love jihad appeared in the Bharuch of Gujarat where a married Muslim youth named Adil Patel from the Chavaj village posed as Arya Patel on social media to lure a Hindu girl into a love trap for four years. When the girl came to know about it, she reached the accused’s house and beat him.

A Muslim youth named Adil Patel created an Instagram ID with the name Arya Patel. Using this Instagram handle, he trapped a Hindu girl in a love trap. Adil Patel hid his religion and had an affair for four years. Despite being married, Adil Patel told the girl that he was unmarried.

When the Hindu girl came to know about his reality, she reached the house of the accused and slapped the accused. The investigation was handed over to a team of women police and the Bharuch SP was also informed about the incident. The police have started the exercise of registering a complaint by collecting evidence of Adil’s misdeeds.

After this incident, there was a stir in the village. The video of the girl slapping the Muslim youth at his house also went viral in the locality. Local Hindu organisations also knew about the case. The Hindu organisations stood firm with the victim girl and took the matter to the Bharuch SP.

Adil Patel not only assumed a Hindu identity to lure this girl but he also made preparations to marry her. He visited the girl’s house to talk about marriage. When the girl’s family asked him about his parents, he said that his parents had died long back. He told this lie to encash sympathy from the girl’s family.

When Adil Patel knew that the Hindu girl had come to know about his real identity, he shot a video of himself apologising to the girl and sent it to her. After watching this video, the girl went to his house and slapped him. Currently, the police are further investigating this case.

Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder case: NIA raids 31 places in Haryana, Rajasthan

0

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 31 places in Haryana and Rajasthan in connection with the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.

The raids are still underway at the locations of suspects linked to the case which the Central agency registered last month following orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Multiple NIA teams carried out these searches in close coordination with the state Police forces.

The move comes days after the NIA takes over the case from Rajasthan Police considering the involvement of high-profile gangsters in the murder.

The Karni Sena chief was shot dead on December 5 at his residence in Jaipur, Rajasthan, by three shooters. Soon after the murder, gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder.

The two shooters, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, were arrested on December 9 in Chandigarh. They informed the police that it was Godara who had ordered the murder. The primary investigation also found that the shooters, while absconding, were in contact with Godara’s close aides Virendra Chahan and Danaram.

Godara and Gogamedi were at loggerheads regarding the collection of ransom from some businessmen, and officials suspect that this may have led to the murder.

Another woman, who allegedly provided weapons and arranged accommodation, along with her husband, has also been arrested in connection with the case. The third shooter died during the firing.

The murder of Gogamedi was captured on CCTV, and the footage showed two men firing multiple shots at the Karni Sena chief, with another man standing at the door. Gogamedi was seen collapsing on the floor from the gunshot injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Gogamedi’s security personnel, who was injured in the incident, also died later. (ANI)

After refusing to make him PM candidate, I.N.D.I. Alliance likely to make Nitish Kumar the bloc’s convenor: Reports

The I.N.D.I. alliance could likely declare Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the convenor of the opposition bloc, as per multiple media reports. Citing sources, India Today reported that the opposition parties can hold a virtual meeting this week in which they will endorse this decision. Some media reports have also claimed that the meeting may take place today (Wednesday 3rd December).

According to the Times of India, the I.N.D.I.A. bloc could also appoint Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as the chairperson of the alliance.

As per reports, Senior Congress leaders including Salman Khurshid are in touch with Nitish Kumar regarding this development. A Congress leader said that Rahul Gandhi had also reached out to Nitish last week amid media reports that the latter was miffed when the alliance didn’t declare him as the bloc’s PM candidate in the fourth meeting held in Delhi.

However, the Congress leader rejected the assertion that once appointed, the convenor will automatically become a candidate for the prime minister’s post. The leader said, “There is no precondition that the convenor will become the PM. The party with more seats can claim the post.”

On Tuesday (2nd January), the Congress party held a discussion with Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav over this proposed appointment, as per reports. Other alliance partners within the I.N.D.I.A. bloc have also been kept in the loop and taken into confidence.

As per sources, a prominent alliance partner Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, supports the idea of declaring Nitish Kumar as the alliance’s convenor. Furthermore, yesterday, Nitish Kumar spoke to Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), about the same.

Meanwhile, Senior JD(U) leaders neither confirmed the development nor denied it. Responding to a media query, JD(U) chief spokesperson KC Tyagi admitted that he too heard about the virtual meeting of INDIA bloc allies.

He said, “But we have not received any formal communication from the Congress about the declaration of the names of the bloc’s chairperson or convenor.”

It is important to note that the development comes at a time when the media had widely reported that several alliance partners within the opposition bloc particularly RJD and JD(U) – the ruling parties in Bihar were miffed when some alliance partners proposed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s name as the suitable candidate for Prime Minister from the alliance.

Notably, on 19th December, during the fourth meeting of I.N.D.I. alliance parties in Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee proposed Mallikarjun Kharge’s name as the prime ministerial candidate which was reportedly supported by AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

Furthermore, Mamata Banerjee’s proposal had fuelled speculations that there was internal turmoil in the Janata Dal (United) camp which also saw the unceremonious ouster of Lalan Singh as party chief.
