1962 India-China war was lost due to Nehru, we didn’t even have woollen clothes: Watch viral video of war-hero Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (Retd)

An old video has resurfaced on the internet amidst the ongoing debate over the historical blunders committed by the Congress party, especially during the Nehruvian era, revealing how India under the leadership of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru lost strategic areas due to the follies committed by him.

In the last few days, a video of Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (Retd.), a war-hero of the 1965 India-Pakistan war, has gone viral on various social media platforms, where the retired Air Marshal shared his personal account on how the lapses committed by Jawaharlal Nehru resulted in India facing an embarrassing defeat at the hands of China in the 1962 India-China war.

In the video posted by WildFilms India in 2015, Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (Retd.) can be heard speaking about the 1962 India-China war and states that India lost the war to China because of Jawaharlal Nehru’s failure. He said how Nehru relied on diplomacy and ignored the armed forces, because of which India lost.

“That War was lost due to Nehru. He relied on diplomacy and neglected the Armed Forces. We didn’t even have woolen clothing when we were pushed into hills. Aircraft weren’t allowed to operate. We could have taken on China, we had our bases. He messed up the whole thing and we paid a heavy price for it,” said Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (Retd.) highlighting the leadership failures of the then Prime Minister Nehru during the 1962 Indo-China war.

In the video, the former Air Marshal also said that the government does not want the public to know about their failures as the war was lost due to political failures.

The nearly five-year-old video has now gone viral on the internet amidst the backdrop of a rising debate in the country over the cost India has been paying due to the strategic blunders that were committed during the Nehruvian era.

Manmohan govt was considering demilitarisation of Siachen

Earlier, former Chief of Army Staff General (Retd) JJ Singh made an explosive revelation stating how the Congress government in 2006 was under ‘pressure’, possibly from the United States to cede territories of Siachen glacier to Pakistan in a bid to settle disputes.

The disclosures made by the former Army Chief General JJ Singh regarding the intention of UPA-I to cede strategic territories such as Siachen to Pakistan was in line with a similar statement made by former Foreign Secretary Shyam Sharan, who too had revealed how UPA and Congress party was willing to compromise India’s territorial integrity on several occasions.

Earlier, we had also reported on how the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had missed an opportunity to take control of strategically important Coco Islands, which are now under Chinese control causing a national security concern to the country.

Locals of China Mukku in Kerala seek to change the name of their place after Galwan valley clash

A small place in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district which has been named after China by none other than the first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru is now seeking a change in its name post the Galwan valley clash. The locals at the Konni gram panchayat want to change the name of China Mukku (China junction) in Konni that has been a major embarrassment for the people, after the relations between both the countries worsened following the standoff at the LAC.

Konni Panchayat Vice-President Praveen Plavilayil has reportedly given a memorandum in the regard to the panchayat for moving a resolution. He wrote, “The name should be replaced in the wake of a warlike situation created by China and the martyrdom of Indian soldiers. After Galwan, people here don’t feel like saying that name. Many want to change it.”

The panchayat president of Konni, Rajani stated that the panchayat is planning to move a resolution in this regard and send a proposal to the state government for changing the name of this place. She said, “It seems there won’t be much resistance from any parties, including CPM, to the proposal for a name change as the local people also share a similar mood.”

Congress MP Adoor Prakash who represented the Konni assembly for 23 years informed when and how the place was named after China. He said, “Nehru was passing through an area in an open jeep. Congress flags were fluttering all over among buildings along the streets in most areas, but when his jeep reached a particular area, he saw only red flags everywhere. It was a communist-dominated area. Nehru asked a person sitting next to him whether it is China junction. Ever since the junction has been called China Mukku.”

No alternative has been decided to replace the name yet. After the panchayat will pass the resolution to change the name, the state government will finally decide on the matter. Reportedly, Congress-led UDF has a majority in panchayat panel with 13 UDF members out of the total 18 and the remaining five members belong to LDF.

Coronavirus: Why are Indian babas judged differently from Teresa’s miracle cures?

Would you believe what this is? This is an official celebration for humanity finding a cure for cancer. Luckily for us, the cure is cheap. Close your eyes and pray to one “St. Teresa” who, despite being dead, is apparently sitting in a place called “heaven,” available and listening to us. The method has already worked for two people worldwide. A small sample if you ask me, nevertheless…

What makes science and rationalism such a wonderful thing? Because, in science, only truth matters. The outcome of the experiment is everything. Nothing else is relevant: not the colour of your skin, not your religion, your gender, your caste, your country, the language you speak, nothing. That is why science has done amazing things, from antibiotics to fertilizer to editing genes. Science makes it possible for human beings to fly through the sky in metal tubes, or for them to sit at their desks, click a button and speak instantly to someone on the other side of the world.

But this works only as long as we apply the standard equally to everyone. The other day an Indian baba, who wears saffron, said he had something to treat the Coronavirus. Think about the kind of mocking reception it received from our educated elite.

Now, I will not go into the veracity of his claims. I am only talking about how his announcements were received. Remember science only works when the standards are the same for everyone.

But, was it? In fact, the Govt of India sent a Cabinet minister to the celebrations in the Vatican. The Chief Minister of West Bengal was also present to grace the occasion. The Govt of Kerala also sent a couple of ministers to the event. A large contingent of Indian intellectuals also welcomed the event.

At the time, I remember no widespread mocking from either side of the political divide. It was as if our collective scientific temper had taken a break.

When we create a double standard in debunking unscientific claims, we end up projecting our inferiority complex on the global stage. And from there it becomes fodder for the anti-Hindu global network. Take this video from Al Jazeera, the mouthpiece of the Islamic state of Qatar, talking about how Hindu groups “widely circulated” cow urine as a cure for the Coronavirus!

First of all, was it really widely circulated? From what I remember, it was a reality TV star and a couple of his guys doing something to get attention. But this did not matter. The saffron banners used by them activated the anti-Hindu predatory instincts of the Indian and global elite. The Indian elite engaged in loud and over the top condemnations of an irrelevant event organized by a handful of attention seekers. The global elite lapped it up gleefully and now Hindus have been branded as people who drink cow urine in hope of curing Coronavirus. This will now have cultural implications for Hindus worldwide. And possibly economic implications as well, because it affects India’s brand.

We have a billion Hindus in India. A handful of them will believe almost anything. Why do we let others use them to brand us all? In fact, why do Indian elites actively participate in this vilification campaign?

By some counts, there were 300,000 Catholics at the Vatican that day, celebrating Teresa’s miracle cure for cancer. Much more than the number of people who showed up to the cow urine party. But was Christianity’s global brand affected by this organized celebration of superstition? Absolutely not!

Why? Something to think about there.

Take the current pandemic.

Article from News18

That was in the middle of March. Apparently, god has other stuff to do. It’s not easy being god. Meanwhile, we have to manage by ourselves.

But did these antics affect the global brand of Christianity? Absolutely not. In fact, if you think about it, it is simply astonishing what the Church gets away with. The so-called Holy Father gets to have his own sovereign nation, recognized by every other country, with diplomats and everything, in the same way as India recognizes the United States. As Supreme Leader of a sovereign nation, he enjoys the status of a Head of State. The Vatican has been accused of everything, from collaborating with Nazis to covering up child abuse, but the “sovereignty” of the Vatican prevents anyone from doing anything about it.

How did they get that sovereign control over the Vatican? Well, it was a gift from Mussolini. Who else?

Imagine if a saffron wearing baba was getting away with all this. Imagine what the Indian and global elite would have said.

I challenge you to give me one reason that makes the claims of the Catholic Church more scientific than those of any saffron clad baba in any corner of India.

Just one. Take your time.

Bengal: TMC leader’s husband accused of molestation and pushing a girl’s mother to death, party slanders victim’s character

In a shocking incident, a woman in her 50s was killed on Tuesday, after she was pushed off the stairs while trying to save her daughter from two molesters. The incident happened at Bagnan in Howrah district, West Bengal. The prime accused, Kush Bera, is the husband of a local Trinamool Congress (TMC) Panchayat leader, Ruma Bera.

In what transpired, a 22-year-old college-going girl was allegedly attacked on the terrace of her house late on Tuesday night, allegedly by her two neighbours, including the husband of a local Trinamool panchayat leader. “I went to the roof of our house around 11.30 pm on Tuesday. Suddenly, someone pulled my leg and I slumped on the roof. Another person gagged me with his hands. I somehow removed his hands and screamed for help”, police quoted the victim as saying.

After she raised an alarm, the victims mother rushed to the terrace to rescue her. The miscreants allegedly pushed the lady, who then fell rolling down the stairs and sustained grievous injuries on her head. “My mother came to my rescue. There were two people, both are locals. One of them was Kush Bera, the husband of local TMC panchayat leader. They pushed my mother. We took her to a local hospital and later was referred to Uluberia hospital where she died,” claimed the alleged victim.

TMC leader defends her husband while slandering the victim’s character

Kush Bera’s wife, who is a TMC panchayat member defended her husband and accused the woman of trying to frame him up. The TMC leader, Ruma Bera even questioned the character of the 22-year-old girl.

BJP protests, demands immediate action

Meanwhile, BJP MPs Locket Chatterjee and Soumitra Kha, who went to Gopalpur village in Bagnan to meet with the alleged victim, demanded immediate action against the culprits. BJP leaders and workers also blocked the National Highway 6 in protest, demanding justice.

“We all know how cases are botched up in Bengal. A woman was molested and her mother has been murdered. The state government should not try to fake the death as Covid-19 death because the accused is the husband of a TMC leader. We demand justice or else our protest will intensify in coming days,” threatened Locket Chatterjee.

TMC insinuates that the victim was in an illegitimate relation with TMC leader’s husband

Trinamool Congress party soon countered the allegations saying that BJP is trying to politicise the incident to gain brownie points ahead of the elections in Howrah. While Trinamool minister and local MLA Arup Roy, assured police action he also insinuated that the victim was in an illegitimate relation with Kush Bera, the main accused. He alleged that the deceased mother of the alleged victim had caught the duo red-handed and whatever happened was an outcome of that.

Sonia Gandhi headed Rajiv Gandhi Foundation had received Rs 10 lakh as ‘donation’ from China in 2006: Read details

At a time when the Congress party is facing all the heat over its secret deals with the Communist Party of China (CPC), another exposing detail has emerged further strengthening the claims of its intimate links with China. The new expose reveals that the Chinese government had donated Rs 10 lakh to the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Foundation’ in 2006 to give ‘financial assistance’ to its charities.

According to a document available on Chinese Embassy in India website, the then Chinese Ambassador to India to India Sun Yuxi had donated Rs 10 lakhs to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, which has links to the Congress party and is run by Congress leaders.

“To show the friendly sentiments of the Chinese people towards the Indian people, Mr. Sun Yuxi, Chinese Ambassador to India, on behalf of China Charity Foundation, donated 10 lakhs rupees to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation on January 27 to give financial assistance to its charities,” the Chinese Embassy in India website reads.

Manmohan Malhoutra, who was the Secretary-General of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation at that time, had received the funds on behalf of the Sonia Gandhi-controlled Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

It is pertinent to note that it is none other than Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, who heads the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. Along with Sonia Gandhi, Gandhi-scion Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram and Priyanka Gandhi are also the trustees of the foundation.

The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, which was established in 1991, claims to work on a range of issues including literacy, health, disability, empowerment of the underprivileged, livelihoods and natural resource management.

It is, however, intriguing to know why would Congress-party controlled Rajiv Gandhi Foundation recieve such a large sum from China, especially at a time when the Congress-ruled UPA government was in power in 2006.

The latest revelation of Congress accepting funds from China will provide more fuel to the ruling BJP’s attack against the Congress party, who are already at facing a lot of heat over their alleged links with the Communist Party of China.

Controversial ‘secret-deal’ between Communist Party of China and the Congress party.

A huge political controversy has erupted in the country after it was found out that the Congress party had signed a ‘secret-deal’ with the Communist Party of China (CPC) on August 7 in 2008 in Beijing for exchanging high-level information and co-operation between them.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) also provided the two parties with the “opportunity to consult each other on important bilateral, regional and international developments”.

At that time, Congress party was leading the UPA-I govt in India and Sonia Gandhi was the chairperson of the National Advisory Council, which acted as the super cabinet over the Manmohan Singh led govt. The agreement was signed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Wang Jia Rui, Minister in the international department of the CPC, in the presence of Sonia Gandhi and the then Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping.

The agreement signed by the Congress party with China’s Communist Party has gained significance after the recent stand-off between India and China at the Galwan valley along the LAC in Ladakh.

73 years after the Islamic State of Pakistan was born, Islamabad to get its first Hindu temple and crematorium

After over 7 decades since the inception of Pakistan, the minority Hindus living there are about to get their first temple and crematorium in the capital city of Islamabad. This would mean that the Hindus in Pakistan’s Islamabad would be allowed to offer their religious rituals without having to travel out of the city anymore.

The Shri Krishna Mandir, as named by the Islamabad Hindu Panchayat, would be built on a 20,000 sq ft plot in Islamabad’s H-9 sector area. The temple complex will have a cremation site as well. The plot on which the temple is being made was allotted to the Hindu Panchayat by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in 2017. However, due to some formalities, like the site map’s approval by the CDA etc. the construction work was stuck for the last 3 years.

The ground breaking ceremony has performed by Parliamentary Secretary on Human Rights, Lal Chand Malhi on June 23 (Tuesday) in Islamabad’s H-9 sector area and the construction work is expected to begin soon. According to Religious Affairs Minister, Pir Noorul Haq Qadri, the Pakistani government will bear the construction cost, presently estimated to be around Rs 10 crore.

While addressing the gathering at the ground breaking ceremony, Lal Chand Malhi said: “The Hindu community in Islamabad has been demanding a temple for a long time now. The population has also increased while many Hindu temple structures in the capital have been abandoned,” he said.

“Besides, there is no crematorium in Islamabad,” added Malhi.

If the said project is completed as being promised by the Pakistani government it will bring some relief for the minority Hindus who have, since ages, been oppressed, ill-treated, abducted, tortured, raped, persecuted and rendered homeless in the terror state of Pakistan. The atrocities meted out on these minorities is a testimony to the abject failure of the Pakistani government in safeguarding their rights.

Religious persecution and forced conversion of minorities in Pakistan

Religious persecution of minorities continues to be rampant in Pakistan. While the Imran Khan government makes tall claims regarding the safety and security of minorities in his country, Pakistan has been notoriously indulging in the persecution of religious minorities. Recently, a minor Hindu girl named Reshaman from Sindh was kidnapped by Wazir Hussain on June 18 and was later converted and forcibly married to him.

There have been many cases of abduction, rape, murder and forceful conversions of Hindu girls in Pakistan’s Sindh region. Allegations have been made that the powerful Islamic leader Mian Mithoo oversees the systematic abduction, conversions and forced marriage of minor Hindu girls in the region. The cleric is said to enjoy strong political patronage in the islamic nation.

Despite repeated appeals by the Indian government, Imran Khan’s government has been turning a blind eye to the atrocities being meted out at the minority Hindus in Pakistan. Recently, a slum which housed impoverished Hindu families he city of Bahawalpur in Punjab, Pakistan, was reportedly destroyed by the government.

In a disturbing video that has now gone viral on social media, a bulldozer can be seen razing the homes of Hindus to the ground while the women and children beg for their shelter to be spared. The demolition exercise was carried out under the watch of the Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema. He is a member of the cabinet in Imran Khan’s government.

UP government demolishes illegal dental college building owned by SP leader Iqbal Ali

Yogi Adityanath government in UP is running a state-wide campaign against the illegal occupation on government lands, under which the administration demolished an under-construction building of a Dental college owned by Iqbal Ali, former state minister of Samajwadi Party. As per the reports, the Sadar District administration demolished the rear side of the Dental Medical College that was constructed illegally on government’s land. The demolition process started on Tuesday and it continued till late Wednesday evening. SDM Pallavi Mishra led the demolition drive. The administration had sent a notice around four months ago asking the college owners to remove the illegally built structure, but instead of removing the illegal building, they encroached land owned by Irrigation and Water Resources Department.

Shahlabh Mani Tripathi, states spokesperson, BJP shared the information on his official twitter handle in which he said that Iqbal Ali’s college building was built on illegally occupied land during the previous government. The administration has demolished it.

Additional District Magistrate Amarpal Singh said that the land was in the name of Amjad Ali, father of geomafia Iqbal Ali. They encroached government’s land around their property to build the dental college. During the previous SP government, there were numerous complaints against Iqbal Ali, who encroached lands around Lucknow and surrounding districts using his political influence.

Inaction of previous government helped land mafia

Despite the complaints, the administration and police did not take any action during the previous govt fearing backlash from the SP government. District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said that the administration would not spare anyone who has encroached the government’s land. There are strict orders to the officials to take strict action against such encroachments.

Xitler is not just a wordplay, here are some things common between Hitler and Xi Jinping

It was perhaps Benjamin Franklin who said that “Glass, China, and reputation are easily cracked and never well mended.”

Franklin would have felt proud that his prognosis of China is holding even after three centuries. China has built a reputation of invincibility and brute force on the outside, but from inside the superstructure seems to be made of glass. Glass façades look splendid from outside, but often cracks up due to heat from inside.

China’s reputation of invincibility has grown under the leadership of President Xi Jinping as the nation has expanded its control over Eurasia, Africa, and the western hemisphere. China has managed to use its global clout to buy out or copy the industrial and technological properties of other countries. While the world was appreciating its rise, China was discreetly co-opting the minds of the western intelligentsia.

Fifth-generation Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping is the first to hold all three of the nation’s top offices — President of the People’s Republic of China for life, General Secretary of the CCP, and Chairman of Central Military Commission and has become the most influential leader in today’s time.

Xi has influenced the political sphere of China in such a way so that his political thoughts have been inducted in the party and state constitutions. Some compare him to the ruthless Mao Zedong, one of the most authoritarian rulers of modern times. Some critics say that Xi Jinping has surpassed Mao and now competes with the world’s most ruthless dictator of all time — Adolf Hitler.

One cannot fail to notice how much President Xi reminds of Adolf Hilter. Like Hitler, Xi Jinping has crafted a cult of personality and projects himself as one who has been born to bring back the glory of past times. Xi projects his party leadership as the emperor who can bring back the glory of imperial times and take revenge of the West for opium wars just like Hitler used to promise in the 1920s and 1930s to bring back “racial supremacy” and “puritanism”. Like Xi, Hitler combined the offices of chancellor and the president to create the post of “Führer und Reichskanzler” in 1934.

Imperialist Xi

Xi Jinping and the CCP are almost on a Hitlerite expansion spree as they think they have the “moral right” to acquire the lands of “lesser” races. The CCP has systematically destroyed all traditions of the other pre-existing races of mainland China except the Han Chinese. They have eradicated ancient cultures of Tibet, Turkic people, Uighur, Hui Manchus, Mongol, and Yi people. The CCP is alleged to carry out practices of running concentration camps and organ harvesting. The CCP has also built up illegal islands in the South China sea and increasingly taunting its naval neighbors. The dictatorial regime has been accused of using mass surveillance, mass incarceration, censorship, and abuse of human rights.

Sudden meteoric rise

Xi’s uncanny similarity with Hitler does not end here. Like Hitler, Xi’s meteoric rise to the top has been the stuff of fables. Xi was persecuted in his youth being banished by Mao to till the land in a remote village. That experience may have turned Xi to be a stoic, hardened dictator. “Fat in January, thin in February; half-dead in March and April. We say a sword is made on a grinding stone and man is forged in hardship,” Xi wrote in his autographical essay in 1998 reminiscing about the time he spent in  — After moving to Munich after his father’s death, Hitler lived in poverty.

One by one, Xi has succeeded in eliminating all the top CCP leaders who could pose a challenge to him in the future. Xi has removed some of them from important posts, banished some from the party, and foisted corruption charges against the rest, a script that Hitler also followed. Within five years, Xi cleaned the CCP of all dissenters and usurped absolute power, like Hitler.

Ruthless mass murderer

Like Hitler, Xi is allegedly using brute force to persecute Uighurs in concentration camps in Xinjiang. The President of the United States of America Donald Trump has accused China under Xi for being complicit in the rapid spread of COVID 19 across the world and the consequent death of millions of people.

Geopolitical alineation

Hitler was unable to forge ties with like-minded nations before the start of World War II due to his agenda of hate and racism.  Hitler’s arrogance and ruthlessness drew potential allies away from him, thus sealing the outcome of World war II against the great dictator. Currently, the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, and India have expressed displeasure with China’s aggressive territorial expansionism and are set to counter the dragon nation at multilateral forums.

Army morale weak

Hitler had collapsed the distinction between the army and the executive. So the army was not allowed to operate and devise war strategies. In China too, there has been a growing schism between the philosophy of CCP and the Army. On the one hand, the Chinese Army is weak in combat experience, and on the other decades of reckless territorial expansionism has weakened its zeal to fight. By contrast, the Indian Army is high on emotions and equipped with age-old qualities of valor and nationalism. Moreover, Indian soldiers have shown their superior combat skills in both the world wars and as recently in the Kargil war. Thus it is no secret that the rearguard action of Indian troops in Galwan caught the Chinese totally off guard.

The incursion at Galwan was a tactical mistake and it showed the chinks in Xi’s armory. Also, the reported high number of Chinese troop casualties, hushed up by Beijing, may make it difficult for any truce to be long-lasting. Xi’s men will surely return to Ladakh to avenge the humiliation. India has proved to be the epitaph for many a foreign aggressor and General Xi may not be an exception.

Nepali Congress passes resolution in parliament urging the government to reclaim land illegally encroached by China

Nepali Congress, the main opposition party in Nepal, passed a resolution on Wednesday in the parliament urging the government to take back land China has encroached illegally. The resolution stated that Nepal and China share a 1414.88-kilometre-long border, as mentioned in the geographical and political map of Nepal marked in the national emblem. There were 98 pillars across the border out of which few pillars are missing while some had been moved towards Nepal. In various districts including Dolakha, Humla, Sankhuwasabha, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk and Gorkha, China has encroached 64 hectares of land that belong to Nepal.

The resolution stated, “The boundary pillar numbers 35, 37 and 38 located in the border of Gorkha and pillar number 62 located in Nampa Bhanjyang of Solukhmbu are missing. As China has shifted pillar number 35 of Gorkha towards Nepal, Rui village lying in the northern part of Gorkha has been encroached by China and 72 households now been under Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Similarly, 18 households located at Jiujiu of Darchula districts have been encroached by China.” The resolution urged the government to use diplomatic means to take back the land and inform the house about the real situation.

The recent case of Kodari village

Kodari is a small village that shares a border with Tibet-China. According to recent reports, China has claimed it as a part of Zhangmu province. In a report prepared by Nepal’s Survey Department of Agriculture Ministry, China has taken over 11 places in Nepal. The report suggested that China is diverting rivers that act as natural borders to increase its territory.

In the report, the department claimed that a total of ten hectares of land in the Humla district is under China’s control. Further, six hectares in Rasuwa have been encroached as construction works caused diversions in Jambu Khola, Bhurjak and Sinjin. The report stated that there is a high probability that China may bring Armed Police in these areas over a period of time to develop observation posts.

As per the locals in Kodari village, they have been asked by the Chinese army to leave the village and move to somewhere else.

Two more Jamia students questioned by Delhi Police over their roles in anti-CAA violence and anti-Hindu riots

A day after riots accused Safoora Zargar was granted bail under ‘humanitarian consideration’, two other Jamia students have been called for questioning by the Delhi Police for their alleged role in the anti-CAA protests and the Anti-Hindu riots in Delhi.

According to the reports, two Jamia students Suyash Tripathi and Arsalan Ahmed had been called by Delhi Police on Wednesday and were questioned regarding their involvement in the anti-CAA protests and the conspiracy behind the Anti-Hindu riots that claimed more than 50 lives.

The two persons from the Jamia Millia Islamia university had been sent notices to appear before the Delhi Police’s crime branch. Suyash Tripathi is a law student while Arsalan Ahmed is from the Department of Social Studies.

The controversial Jamia Millia Unversity has been at the forefront of the anti-CAA protests and was also the epicentre of the large scale violence in the national capital.

Arrests made in the case so far

For their involvement in the Anti-CAA riots and the subsequent Anti-Hindu riots, several students from Jamia Millia University and other ultra-left activists have been booked by the Delhi police.

The President of Jamia Alumni Association Shifa-Ur-Rehman, Jamia Coordination Committee members Safoora Zargar, Meeran Haider, Jamia Millia Islamia University students Asif Iqbal Tanha, Gulfisha Khatoon, suspended AAP Councillor Tahir Hussain, former student leader Umar Khalid have also been charged under the anti-terror law in the case.

Far-left ‘Pinjra Tod’ activist Natasha Narwal was also booked under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) for her role in inciting the anti-Hindu communal riots in Northeast Delhi in February that left 53 people dead and more than 400 injured.
