Hacker group ‘Anonymous’ declares war on Minneapolis police force after George Floyd killing, demands criminal charges against all cops involved in the incident

Amid the massive protests erupting in the United States following the killing of an African American man by a white police officer in Minneapolis in Minnesota, the international group of hackers ‘Anonymous’ have now openly targeted the Minneapolis Police Department by declaring a ‘war’ against them, accusing the police force of systemic violence and corruption. The hacker group has also accused the force of repeated police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

In a message posted on the Anonymous Facebook page with 11 million followers on May 29, the hacker collective has accused the Minneapolis force of condoning the behaviour that led to the death of African-American George Floyd.

A narrator, hiding the face with the well known Anonymous mask, claimed that it did not trust the “corrupt organisation to carry out justice” and said that they will be exposing the ‘many crimes’ of the force to the world.

“People have had enough of this corruption and violence from an organization that promises to keep them safe,” the masked narrator said in his 3-minute long video.

In the video, the hacker group ‘Anonymous’ went on to claim the Minneapolis Police Department has a “horrible track record of violence and corruption”. The group accused the forces of killing as many as 193 people in the past many years.

The group claimed that the police force exists to “carry out the will of the criminal ruling class”.

Anonymous also cited several high-profile deaths “killed by police in Minnesota,” including the 2015 death of Jamar Clark, 2016 killing of Philando Castile, 2017 slaying of Justine Damond, 2018 death of Thurman Blevins and 2019 fatal killing of Brian Quinones.

The masked narrator said that the death of George Floyd is “just the tip of the iceberg” and said officers who kill people “and commit crimes need to be held accountable.”

Later in the video, the narrator also demanded for criminal charges against all cops involved in the death of Floyd, not just Derek Chauvin.

At the end of the video, the hacker group said it does not trust the Minneapolis Police Department to “carry out justice” and warned the force to “expect” them. Anonymous ended the message with a reference to the bible, stating: “We are legion.”

In the video, the voice of the narrator was digitally changed to make identification of the person impossible, or perhaps they used an artificial speech generator program to create the clip.

Death of George Floyd

On May 25, a 46-year-old black man, George Floyd was killed by a police officer, Derek Chauvin, who knelt on the former’s neck for 7 long minutes until his body became unresponsive. George Floyd was seen handcuffed and begging for breath after a police officer had arrested him.

A shopkeeper had called the cops on Floyd for allegedly trying to pass a ‘potential counterfeit bill’. On being taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center, he was pronounced dead.

Following the death of George Floyd, a fresh wave of protests erupted in various US states. Hundreds of protestors have hit the streets to protest against the killing of George Floyd. However, the protests have now turned violent with demonstrators have resorted to rioting, vandalising private properties, leading to large scale violence on the streets of America.

Thousands of Americans have gathered across the country to protest against the killing of George Floyd. However, these ‘protests’ have now escalated into large-scale riots, vandalism and looting. Many stores, boutiques have been looted and destroyed by the violent rioters in various parts of the country.

Rajasthan Mahila Congress general Secretary Reena Mimrot makes offensive remarks against Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his niece

There appears to be no low that the Congress party will not stoop to. In recent times, they have made a habit of making incendiary remarks about the Prime Minister and other leaders associated with the BJP. Now, the General Secretary of Rajasthan Mahila Congress, Reena Mimrot, has made an extremely offensive remark against late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The tweet by Reena Mimrot

Reena Mimrot shared a picture of Atal Bihari Vajpayee with a woman much younger to him that said ‘true love’ along with the caption, “Some pictures speak…?” She also tagged, or at least attempted to, tag the official handle of the BJP in the tweet. As it turns out, the woman in the photograph with Atal Bihari Vajpayee is actually his niece, Mala Vajpayee Tiwari.

Source: The New Indian Express

Mala Vajpayee Tiwari is the youngest of the six daughters of Vajpayee’s elder brother Sada Bihari Vajpayee. She lives with her son Abhishek in Indore. She was part of Madhya Pradesh state executive of BJP Mahila Morcha, and also worked on the board of various government advisory committees.

Making such crass remarks about the late former Prime Minister and his niece is the new low that the Congress party has stooped to. But this isn’t the first time Reena Mimrot has engaged in such deplorable rhetoric. And yet, the party has taken no action against her which could only mean that they endorse such outrageous conduct.

The Past Conducts of Reena Mimrot

After the advent of the Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic, she wished that Home Minister got infected with the deadly virus. She lamented the fact that the Australian Home Minister had contracted the virus and his Indian counterpart had not. Earlier, she shared the image of a lookalike of Donald Trump groping women to malign the US President.

She had also launched personal attack on PM Modi for sharing playful pics a kid in his office. She had commented that had PM Modi settled down on time in life, he would not have to play with other’s kids.

‘Professor’ Ashok Swain wants ‘Muslim Lives Matter’ protests in India along the lines of violent protests in USA following the death of George Floyd

Violence has gripped the states of United States of America as violent thugs run riot in the streets in the name of social justice. While the riots are being justified openly and even incited by leftists on social media, some want such violent protests to be replicated in India. Ashok Swain, who is apparently a professor at Uppsala University in Sweden, wants ‘Muslim lives matter’ protests in India.

The tweet by Ashok Swain

Ashok Swain says that the kind of protests that are currently being witnessed in the United States of America and Canada regarding ‘Black Lives Matter’ need to be replicated in India to “oppose extra-judicial killings of Muslims in the country”. While he is careful to not explicitly incite violence, the implication of the tweet is clear.

The protests in the USA following the death of George Floyd have been extremely violent with arson, vandalism and looting par for the course. Any endorsement of such protests and calls for the replication of the same in India can only be interpreted as a legitimate call to violence. Leftists appears to be using the analogy of ‘Gandhian with guns’ regarding these protests.

Past shenanigans of Ashok Swain

Ashok Swain has made numerous comments in the past that undermine Indian national interests. On one occasion, even after it became evident that the news regarding a Muslim boy setting himself on fire for not chanting Jai Shri Ram was fake, he continued to blame ‘Hindutva beasts’ for it.

Pakistan had used comments made by Ashok Swain to absolve themselves of all responsibility for the Pulwama Terror Attack claiming that the Indian Government could trigger tensions with the state that sponsors terrorism in order to secure Prime Minister Modi’s reelection bid. Pakistani media had reported heavily on these tweets as well.

Apart from these instances, Ashok Swain has made several derogatory remarks against Hinduism. Despite his virulent hatred, he is extremely popular within the liberal circles of India who appear to have no issues with his harmful rhetroic.

12,000 workers to be moved in special trains to complete vital infrastructure projects near China border amidst military standoff: Report

The Ministry of Defence has asked for 11 special trains to transport around 12,000 workers from Jharkhand for road construction near the China border, reported Hindustan Times. The workers would be first taken to Jammu and Chandigarh and then ferried to regions close to the border areas in Uttarakhand, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources told Hindustan Times that the directive to the Railway Ministry to arrange 11 special trains to carry 11,815 migrant workers from Jharkhand was made by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on May 22. The critical move by the Defence Ministry comes amidst the military standoff between the Indian and Chinese forces at four locations along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Three officials familiar with the matter informed, on the condition of anonymity, that the Government could not afford to lose time in the working season, which extends from May to November. They conceded that the standoff is uncertain and may continue for weeks. As such, pending road projects cannot be stalled for an indefinite period. Some work has already started on the strategic Darbuk-Shyok-Daulet Beg Oldie road in Ladakh.

Reportedly, Home Minister Amit Shah had apprised Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren about the matter on Thursday. The issue was discussed when he spoke to the Chief Ministers about India’s exit plan from the lockdown. Most workers hail from Dumka in Jharkhand. The State Government has been asked to inform the Union Government when such a journey could be facilitated by the Indian Railways. Standard operation procedures (SOPs) laid down by the Centre on May 19 will be followed for the movement of workers to the China border.

On Thursday, Hindustan Times had reported that the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) was planning to hire 40000 workers for road and tunnel construction near China border, despite the Coronavirus outbreak. According to Lt Gen SL Narasimhan, the development of infrastructure is critical in areas adjoining international borders, for both military and civilian purpose.

Reportedly, on May 15, the Ladakh administration had also written to BRO granting no objection to the workers who have inducted for the project. However, adherence to social distancing guidelines and mandatory quarantine for 14 days is a must for workers arriving in Ladakh from other places. The BRO is tasked to complete 61 strategic roads along the border by the end of 2022. It will help in faster mobilisation of armed forces to forward zones.

The Standoff at LAC

About 5000 Chinese army personnel, under the garb of a military exercise, had diverted their movement towards the Indian side of the LAC (Line of Actual Control). The current stand-off began on May 5-6 and has been continuing all along the LAC up to Sikkim. The Indian Army had matched the level of their counterparts and had stopped them from conducting movements in several areas. As per the ANI report, Indian forces had also been airlifted from other high altitude areas to the Eastern Ladakh sector.

China seeks De-escalation

The tensions between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) eased a bit on Wednesday as China began to de-escalate the conflict through a conciliatory approach by saying that the situation at the border with India is “overall stable and controllable.” The firm and strong posturing by India in response to Chinese decision to intimidate the country along the LAC, perhaps, made Chinese to seek a de-escalation of the matter. As per a report in CGTN, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian stated that both China and India have proper mechanisms and communication channels to resolve the issues through ‘dialogue and consultations’.

George Floyd killing: Rioter chants ‘La Ilaha Illalaha’ while ‘protesting’ in America

Following the brutal killing of African American George Floyd in Minneapolis in Minnesota, United States, large scale protests have erupted across the country. But soon the protests descended into violence, rioting, arson, looting in various parts of the country, which is very similar to the violent protests spearheaded by the far-left group Antifa. Videos have emerged showing the ‘protestors’ vandalising and looting retail stores across the country.

Now, in another video of the riots, one protestor was heard chanting the Islamic prayer claiming that Allah is the only god. In a video posted by a Twitter user with the account ID @diorIucas, a man can be reciting the entire Iqama, the second call to Islamic prayer, including the Shahada. Surrounded by cops in riot gear, the man chants ‘ashadu an la ilaha illa llahu, ashadu anna Muḥammadan rasulu llahi, ashadu anna Aliyan waliyu llah, hayya ala ssalahti, hayya ala lfalahi, hayya ala khayri lamali, qad qamati ssalaht, Allahu akbar, la ilaha illa llah’.

The translation of this verse is, “God is greater than everything,  I bear witness that there is no deity but God, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God,  I bear witness that Ali is the Vicegerent of God,  Hasten to the prayer (Salah),  Hasten to the salvation, Hasten to the best of deeds, The prayer (Salah) has been established, God is greater than everything, There is no deity but God”.

After reciting the Islamic prayer, the man did a backflip and did a little dance. This shows how much he was enjoying the ‘protests’ against the killing of George Floyd.

The line God is greater than everything, there no deity but God in this verse is known as Shahada, which basically means that Islam rejects the existence of any other God other than Allah. Although it is just a prayer, it has been used by Islamists repeatedly to intimidate non-Muslims in various occasions. Chanting of this slogan in a protest also indicates that the protest is taking an Islamist turn.

This slogan was widely used during the anti-CAA protests in India last year. Students in Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia University were heard chanting La Ilaha Illalaha, Muhammadan rasul ullah during the protests, which had descended into widescale violence and rioting.

A Facebook page founded by a group of students from Jamia Milia Islamia has declared that Nationalism is against the chant “La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah”. They had argued that as La ilaaha illallaah’  translates to “There is no God and sovereign except Allah”, the idea of nationalism goes against it. “The concept of nationalism is against the concept of AL-WALA WAL-BARA (love and hate for the sake of Allah) which is the very fundamental of Tawheed which Islam gave to its people,” the group had written.

Bengaluru: JDS corporator Imran Pasha meets and greets hundreds of followers before going to isolation facility after testing positive for coronavirus

An FIR has been filed against Padarayanapura JDS corporator Imran Pasha for violating social distancing norms on Saturday to gather a crowd near residence despite him testing positive for the coronavirus.

In a dramatic incident, Padarayanapura JDS corporator Imran Pasha, who was tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday, created a high-drama near his house as the authorities took him to the isolation facility. Hundreds of Pasha’s followers assembled near his house to cheer for their leader as he was leaving for the institutional quarantine after being tested positive for coronavirus.

According to a video shared by journalist Shiv Aroor, the JDS leader was seen waving his hands to his supporters and also greeting his supporters despite him being tested positive for the coronavirus. The violation of social distancing had created a scary situation in the locality after the coronavirus positive patient socialised with his supporters.

On Saturday afternoon, Pasha was seen wearing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit and waving his hands as he boarded an ambulance to Victoria Hospital.

A case has been registered against Imran Pasha under IPC section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 270 (Malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 271 (Disobedience to quarantine rule) at JJ Nagar police station in Bangalore.

JDS corporator refuses to go to isolation

Imran Pasha, who is JDS corporator of Padarayanpura, the area where large scale violence against the frontline workers by Muslim mob was reported weeks back, was tested positive for the Chinese pandemic on Friday. However, the JDS leader created a high-drama by refusing to get admitted to a health facility and created a scare in the locality.

According to the standard protocols, Pasha should have been immediately admitted to Victoria Hospital, the designated coronavirus hospital in the city. However, he took 15 hours to enter the hospital as a patient.

The senior officials, including ASHA workers, had to plead the JDS corporator asking him to get himself admitted to the coronavirus hospital in the city. Even Pasha’s father and Chamrajpet Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed urged the corporator to be in isolation at a coronavirus facility. However, Pasha was reluctant and insisted that he would be in house quarantine.

After senior police officers threatened to book him under relevant provisions of the IPC for spreading the infection, only then the JDS corporator agreed to go under institutional quarantine at Victoria hospital.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that at least one of the senior officers will be needed to put under the institutional quarantine after he came in contact with the JDS leader. Several other BBMP officials were on the primary contact list. Pasha’s list of primary contacts includes 19 people and another 21 people in the secondary contact list.

‘Protesters’ in USA use mask making tutorial by Indian actor Ronit Roy to avoid face detection while protesting the death of George Floyd

Violence has gripped the United States of America following the death of George Floyd, a Black Man, who lost his life to police brutality. Since then, riots and looting have spread from Minneapolis to numerous other cities of the country. And even after curfews and deployment of National Guards, the matter is only escalating. One Indian celebrity has somehow gotten entangled with all of this. Ronit Roy had made the video for the Wuhan Coronavirus.

Ronit Roy, the popular actor, had shared a short video of himself teaching people how to make a balaclava mask with their t-shirts. The mask, when worn, covers the entire face of the individual. The video by Ronit Roy was shared by one Twitter user, @MRCRUZv3, with the caption, “If anyone is protesting today, here’s a way to make a balaclava mask with a T Shirt.”

The balaclava mask would help ‘protesters’ avoid face detection. The video was shared so that people could “help each other out, fight together, keep each other’s backs”. It is not certain how many people actually wore the masks at the ‘protests’ but certain individuals did try it out and posted the pictures on the comment section.

The ‘protests’ against the killing of George Floyd had soon escalated into large-scale riots, vandalism and rioting. Apart from small businesses, the criminals have looted Nike, Louis Vuitton’s and Adidas showrooms as well. Curfew has been imposed and the National Guard has been deployed to control the situation in many places and yet, things do not appear to be deescalating anytime soon.
