Love Jihad

According to Panchjanya, Nihal Khan has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act along with other sections including rape and forced conversion.

Salim trapped the girl in a love affair by claiming that he was a Hindu. He made her believe that he was in 'love' with her. Later he sexually assaulted the girl, resulting in her pregnancy. When the girl asked the accused to marry him, he called her to meet and murdered her with the help of two of his friends.

The four cases track the horrific incidents of sexual abuse, intimidation and threats inflicted upon Hindu women.

A Dalit girl has filed a complaint against a man named Ziyad who is from Pune, Maharashtra, after which he was taken into custody by the Gujarat Police and was subsequently sent to a three-day remand by the court.

The accused identified as Mohammad Ashif posed himself as a Hindu and introduced himself as Ashish to the woman. He also shot derogatory videos of the woman and threatened to viral them as he forced her to convert her religion to Islam. The woman on 14th October then filed a police complaint and demanded strict action against the accused.

Based on a complaint by the woman's husband, the police took immediate action and arrested Shoaib Khan under the relevant sections of the law.
