The accused of the Badaun murder case were defended by their relatives and neighbours who portrayed them as wonderful people.

When the OpIndia team visited the accused's village and spoke with their family members and relatives of Badaun double murder accused Sajid and Javed, we realised that the statements they were making were blatantly inconsistent and brimming with contradictions.

Javed has claimed that he wasn't involved in any way with the murders and Sajid had emerged covered in blood.

The parents of the Badaun victims have called out Javed for his lies and held him responsible for the murder of their little boys.

OpIndia talked to a local Dulichand in Sakhanu who said that Sajid's family is not native to this village. He stated that Sajid's family had changed their home twice previously. Sajid's family used to reside in Kakrala and Uprala villages in Badaun.

Accused Javed blamed his deceased older brother Sajid for the murder of the two Hindu boys in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh.

The people in Badaun shared that the accused's family had taken over the barber business in the neighbourhood and they have 11 shops in the area.

The minor girl in Uttar Pradesh was raped around fourteen days ago in a field by the Muslim accused who is now on the run.

However, SSP has denied the black magic angle in the double murder case.
