Controversial former cop of Gujarat, Sanjiv Bhatt, yesterday an image of electricity workers on an electric pole claiming that these are the workers of Kerala State Electricity Board who were busy working round the clock to help restore power in the flood-hit state.

He further uses this image to say that since Kerala is working to get back on its feet, Modi and RSS ‘hate’ Kerala. However, the image Bhatt has shared is not from five days back but from October 2016 stolen from a Mathrubhumi, article which speaks about power cuts in Kerala.

Original image from Mathrubhumi from October 2016.

This image shared by Bhatt, who has a following of over 3.76 lakh on Twitter, had over 700 reactions. This is not the first time Bhatt has been caught spreading lies over social media to malign Modi. He had earlier tweeted morphed photo of PM Modi, disregarding dignity of women. He has also used social media to spread anti-India propaganda by making false claims about an image to make false allegations against the security forces in Kashmir.
