An OnlyFans creator recently revealed that she managed to get her Instagram account restored only after agreeing to have sex with a few employees of Meta Inc, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook.
In a podcast recently, OnlyFans creator Kitty Lixo disclosed that her Instagram account was taken down by the platform for alleged “sexual solicitation”. Lixo said that to get her Instagram account back, she had to contact several Facebook employees and have sex with them before they agreed to take a look at her request.
During a conversation with podcaster Adam Grandmaison, popularly known as Adam22, Lixo detailed how her account was restored. The OnlyFans creator said that Instagram had deleted her account three or four times in the past. After several failed attempts to get back on the platform, Lixo decided to sleep with her friend who works at Instagram to get her account back.
“One of my friends works on Instagram, he is a friend, so I started sleeping with him to get my Instagram back,” she said, adding, “And he did, which was very nice of him”. In her conversation, Lixo also said that her friend put in an internal review.
“The first guy I hooked up with putting in an internal review and told me it was for sexual solicitation, and then he appealed it because there was no solicitation on the page—my [Onlyfans] link is in a Linktree in my bio, which is what most girls do,” Lixo said.
However, her appeal got denied, but her friend working at Instagram reopened a new case.
“After opening a new case, he eventually got a person who actually said, ‘No, we didn’t shut down your account because of solicitation it was because your account was hacked,’ and then I reset everything. So there doesn’t seem to be a lot of uniformity in decision-making internally,” Lixo said in her conversation.
Later, one of the Instagram employees explained the whole review process to her. “My friend taught me the process basically of when you get your Instagram account shut down and which departments work on which things,” Lixo said, adding that the integrity department looks after the review processes.
Lixo also said that she began stalking people working at Instagram’s Integrity department on LinkedIn and started following them on Instagram through her backup account. “And we met, and I slept with a couple of them and was able to get my account back like two or three more times,” Lixo said.
After all the struggle, the OnlyFans creator eventually managed to get her account restored. “So as long as someone keeps trying in that department, they will eventually get their account back,” the content creator added.
On May 21, Rahul Gandhi spoke at the event ‘Ideas of India’ in the United Kingdom organized by Bridge India. Resorting to his usual scaremongering, Rahul Gandhi asserted that a civil war in India would not surprise him because the country was extremely unstable. He stated that India is in a horrible position and that a political revolution is required.
To substantiate his contention, he stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has “poured kerosene around the country” and that a single spark is enough to blow the country up.
“We have a massive level of polarisation, huge unemployment. We have the backbone of employment broken, and we have a massive concentration of wealth. We are going to have social problems, and they’re coming. There’s no doubt about it,” he further said.
He even supported the US interfering in internal matters of the country. Gandhi was then asked about the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken speaking about human rights violations in India in a press conference. To that, Rahul replied, “I’m glad that the United States has woken up to this idea.” Tweaking the course of his answer, he said that the US is not needed in order to make us realize the issue. “It has been quite a long time to sense it,” he stated.
Meet the sponsor ‘Logically’
As per Bridge India’s website, Logically was one of the main sponsors of the event. The founder and CEO of Logically Lyric Jain were one of the speakers at the event.
Source: Bridge India
On May 11, Logically published a report where they claimed that Indian right-wing influencers and the Indian Government fell for the alleged “Russian propaganda” that Ukraine mistreated Indian students. Several reports showed that Indian students were mistreated in Ukraine and had to face racial and physical abuse. In fact, families of Indian students evacuated from the neighbouring countries under Operation Ganga had themselves spoken to the media, telling that they were abused, and discriminated against by the Ukrainian authorities.
The portal claimed that Russian Embassy in India propagated that the Indian students were held hostage and the Indian Government, media, and influencers went with the narrative. It also targeted Indian media for speaking up about the alleged US assisted Biolabs in Ukraine. Logically alleged, the Russian Embassy in India was used to spread the alleged misleading information that was widely discussed in media as well as on social media platforms in India.
In reality, the US government had themselves admitted that they had Biolabs in Ukraine, the initial claims by some media houses that the Biolabs were “propaganda” had been soon busted.
Logically and its problematic portfolio
However, columnist Surya Kanegaonkar and Twitter user Abhijit Mitra have raised questions about the left-leaning platform. In a series of Tweets, Kanegaonkar explained how the platform is problematic specifically due to the fact that it not only spreads misinformation but also provides doxxing services.
Kanegaonkar pointed out an article titled ‘AI Biases and the Global South’ on Logically’s website. The article talked about how ‘Artificial Intelligence’ used by tech giants is often biased. What caught out eyes are two sections of the article. The first was where they had quoted so-called fact-checking website Alt News’ founder Pratik Sinha who is known for his drastic anti-Modi views. Sinha was quoted saying there was a need for “local fact-checking bodies” in countries with “authoritarian governments”.
At first, the quote sounds genuine but then comes the real propaganda. Sinha was quoted again saying, “In countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh with semi-authoritarian governments, you need to be friends with the Government to do business. There’s a lot of hate speech in India and these people are not being de-platformed as quickly as they should.”
The doxxing services
Under the ‘Services’ section on the website, there is a section where they openly offer doxxing services to anonymous accounts. It reads, “Our investigations team uncovered the identities of bad actors leveraging online anonymity to avoid accountability and spread harmful content with impunity and without recourse.”
More worryingly, @Lyric_Jain offers a doxxing service. For those who are willing to pay and are perhaps politically aligned, the service is designed to reveal the identities of anonymous handles. Claiming Covid is a bioweapon is apparently enough to invite an “investigation.” pic.twitter.com/cU3Phnx7gY
In clearer words, if you feel someone anonymous on social media is bad for your company, throw in some money and Logically will happily trace the account, making it dangerous for the anonymous user to exist. Hypothetically, such services can be used by bad actors themselves to uncover anonymous users uncovering their ‘illegal’ businesses. There is no mention of where one would Logically draw a line. It is just mentioned as a ‘service’.
Claims of safeguarding ‘democracy’
Logically claims that its aim is to “protect democratic processes by monitoring, detecting, attributing and countering election harmful content and activity.” But what if their client defines bad actors as the people opposing them without considering if they are right or wrong? There is no public list of clients who take services from Logically. Kanegaonkar said, “Their job, much like the US’ Disinformation Governance Board, is meant to “safeguard” democracy. With the help of AI, they aim to control the flow of content that Logically and its clients deem as “disinfo campaigns.” Where’s the transparency of their client list and process?”

Logically India has been accused of running a disinformation campaign against Union Ministries. The account follows the usual regime change agents, including Mohammad Zubair of Alt News, Rana Ayyub of Washington Post (Amazon, which owns Washington Post, also funds Logically), News Laundry, Arfa Khanum Sherwani, Barkha Dutt, and The Quint, and many others.
It doesn’t end there. Sagar Kaul, their head of India operations has a rather colorful social media presence. He’s been liking the posts of Geelani’s granddaughter and those of Kashmiri “journalists” and activists who are known to have pushed false news repeatedly. Comprador. pic.twitter.com/kvKHpg4I1B
Kanegaonkar also shared screenshots of Logically India’s Vice President Sagar Kaul’s Twitter, where he had liked ‘posts of Geelani’s granddaughter and those of Kashmiri “journalists” and activists who are known to have pushed false news repeatedly.’
Normalizing Bengal post-election violence
In May 2021, they published a report titled ‘Stop The Steal, West Bengal Style: Disinfo Narratives Around Political Violence’ in which they tried to blame the BJP for misinformation after its workers experienced waves of violence post-poll.
While asserting that post-poll violence is common in Bengal, Logically said, “As swathes of fake images and videos of the violence gained traction on social media, hashtags such as #PresidentsRuleInBengal, #BengalBurning and #ArrestMamataBanerjee trended on Twitter. The flood of misinformation and disinformation amplified by pro-BJP handles appears carefully crafted and coordinated to portray the state’s grip on law and order as lacking, hence justifying the invocation of the President’s rule in the state.” They clearly blamed BJP leaders for the misinformation.
Interestingly, in 2020, the Indian Government had awarded Logically in AatmaNirbhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge under the News section.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is holding a ‘Muslim convention’ in the coastal city of Mangaluru in Karnataka between May 31 and June 1 this year, reportedThe News Minute. The event is organised by Karnataka (CPIM) State Committee member Muneer Katipalla.
The News Minute reported that about 2000 Muslim delegates will attend the convention. Katipalla, however, claimed that the event is not motivated by ‘identity politics’ but rather the combined ‘impact of Islamophobia and Hindutva.’
The CPIM leader also said that he received an overwhelming response in Sunni-dominated neighbourhoods. “Local mosque committees, units of the Sunni Students Federation (SSF), the Muslim Central Committee (MCC), which are liberal formations, have helped us at the panchayat and municipality level in the organising,” he remarked.
Muneer Katipalla also informed that the ‘Muslim convention’ received support in the Muslim-dominated Chokkabettu area, which happens to be the stronghold of Islamist outfit SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India). Earlier on May 5 this year, the Kerala High Court observed that the SDPI is an extremist organisation, which has not yet been banned in India.
The CPIM leader alleged that the convention is ‘about’ Muslims and not a ‘congregation’ of Muslims. “Yes, because the focus is on the problems being faced by the community, a large section of the gathering will be made up of Muslims,” he said.
“But there are others too. In our campaigning, we have also been visiting Hindus and other communities saying, ‘Attend this conference to discover how your issues and the issues of Muslims are the same in this post-pandemic apocalypse created by the BJP government,” Muneer Katipalla further stated.
CPIM the main left party that is ‘avowedly secular’ and claims to shun identity politics of the ‘RSS kind’ is planning a meet exclusively for Muslims in coastal Karnataka very shortly. 2000 Muslim delegates invited for the ‘dharam sansad’. How’s that for hypocrisy?
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is now facing criticism for planning a meeting exclusively for the Muslim community.
The CPI(M) seemed to tie itself up in knots while trying to justify its identity politics, though it has claimed to be “secular” in nature and often, boasts about its atheist credentials. It first seemed to say that their program was to counter Islamophobia and Hindutva, then they claimed that it was a congregation ABOUT Muslims and the problems they face, hence they had called Muslim delegates, further, after the criticism mounted, they claimed that they had approached Hindus too to attend the event.
It is evident that CPI (M) too is now using the Muslim persecution bogey, a mythical one, to demonise Hindus further. It does not take much to guess what the rhetoric would be when they clearly state that the conference is against “Islamophobia and Hindutva”.
“CPIM the main left party that is ‘avowedly secular’ and claims to shun identity politics of the ‘RSS kind’ is planning a meet exclusively for Muslims in coastal Karnataka very shortly. 2000 Muslim delegates invited for the ‘dharam sansad’. How’s that for hypocrisy?” tweeted Rahul Shivshankar of Times Now.
While defending the conference, Muneer Katipalla justified, “…Yes, it is a special conference where there is a special focus on Muslims. This is because of the extraordinary circumstances that have developed in the country since the BJP government came to power.”
On Thursday, Rajasthan Sports Minister Ashok Chandna expressed his displeasure with the state apparatus and announced his intention to resign. In a tweet, Rajasthan Minister Ashok Chandna urged Chief Minister Gehlot to relieve him of his ministerial duties and hand over all ministries to Kuldeep Ranka, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. He voiced his displeasure with chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s principal secretary for allegedly interfering in his domains.
Chandna requested Gehlot to remove him from the “humiliating” ministerial role and transfer over control of all his departments to Kuldeep Ranka, whom he referred to as the “minister of all departments.”
“Honorable Chief Minister, I have a personal request to you that by freeing me from this cruel ministerial post, the charge of all my departments should be given to Shri Kuldeep Ranka Ji, because anyway, he is the minister of all the departments,” he tweeted.
Notably, Ganesh Ghogra, a Congress leader, recently resigned as an MLA from Dungarpur last week. Ganesh Ghogra protested to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a letter that the administration does not listen to him when he brings up people’s grievances. He said that despite holding administrative positions in the government, his complaints were not addressed.
In his letter, he alleged that he felt compelled to take such action after being marginalised by administration officials. According to media sources, Ghogra was irritated when local authorities ignored his concerns over land allocation.
The news, which indicates dissatisfaction inside the party, comes only days before the state’s Rajya Sabha elections. The schism inside the Rajasthan Congress and the Congress party as a whole has grown wider, with numerous of its leaders expressing dissatisfaction with the party’s operations.
After leaving the Congress party, veteran Congress politician Kapil Sibal, who has been the most vociferous of the G23 leaders against the Gandhi family, filed his candidacy for the Rajya Sabha seat from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday in the presence of Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav. It would be remarkable to observe how the Congress party fare in the forthcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan in 2023.
Nearly a month after the Karnataka High Court order that upheld the ban on burqas in schools and colleges, the hijab row has once again resurfaced in Karnataka as a group of Muslim students from Mangaluru University College has submitted a memorandum to allow them to wear hijab in classrooms.
According to the reports, the controversy erupted on May 26 after a group of students from the University College in Mangaluru had protested against the college authorities, alleging that a few Muslim girl students were attending classes wearing the Islamic hijab, violating the High Court order.
The protesting students contended that they were being forced to wear the college uniform while the 44 Muslim students are allowed to wear hijab to college. The students also alleged that some of them were wearing the hijab in the classrooms too.
The protesting students also hit out at the college principal and other concerned authorities for failing to enforce uniform rules on the college premises. The students allege that the college authorities are under pressure from a local political leader.
“We have been demanding the implementation of the High Court order, despite us submitting memoranda to college authorities, they were not implementing it. Then PTA meeting was called, and parents-representative insisted that the court order be followed, then they said let the matter be decided at the Syndicate meeting,” a protesting student said.
The students also said that the authorities are now deciding to implement the order now, fearing protests by the students and also alleged that some faculty are instigating Muslim girl students to wear hijab in the classrooms.
Earlier, the Syndicate of Mangalore University held a meeting on May 16, where they approved the implementation of a dress code for students, including a ban on wearing the hijab.
However, some Muslim students had that they were not wearing the hijab but had covered their heads with the college uniform scarves and maintained that the hijab is mentioned in the college prospectus, and they were communicated the same before joining. The hijab-clad Muslim students have claimed that the Islamic gear was part of the uniform for the students who wear it.

“However, we received an unofficial statement in the form of a text message from the college on May 16 stating that hijab is not allowed in the classes and everyone should come in uniform,” a Muslim student said, adding that they submitted a memorandum to the district’s Deputy Commissioner to seek justice in the matter.
Karnataka Hijab row:
The hijab controversy in Karnataka gained momentum in the first week of January after eight Muslim girls were denied entry to classes in a Udupi college because they were wearing hijab. The college authorities had informed that the hijab was not a part of the uniform dress code mandated for the students.
The Muslim girls, adamant about wearing hijab, then filed a petition in High Court seeking permission to attend classes in hijab. They stated that wearing the hijab was their ‘fundamental right’ granted under Articles 14 and 25 of the Indian Constitution and an ‘integral practice of Islam’.
The controversy spiralled as Hindu students in Karnataka came with saffron scarves around their necks and protested against Muslim girls continuing to wear hijab to college. Tensions also prevailed at some educational institutions in Udupi, Shivamogga, Bagalkote, and other parts, as stones-pelting and violence were reported from various parts of the state.
As reported earlier, the students had begun to wear hijab to schools and colleges after they had met the Campus Front of India (CFI), the student branch of the Islamist organization Popular Front of India (PFI), in October 2021. The students confessed that they had spoken with the CFI.
However, the Karnataka High Court had dismissed petitions filed by a group of Muslim students, saying that hijab was not an integral part of Islam and noted that the prescription of school uniforms is only a reasonable restriction and constitutionally permissible, which students cannot object to.
After reports emerged that the authorities at Delhi’s Thyagraj Stadium were forcing athletes to stop training early so that senior IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar could walk his dog at the facility, the bureaucrat and his wife have been transferred by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
In an order issued on Thursday (May 26), the Amit Shah-led MHA transferred IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar to Ladakh from Delhi while his wife Rinku Dugga was transferred to Arunachal Pradesh from Delhi.
“With the approval of Competent Authority, the following transfers of IAS Officers of Joint AGMUT Cadre are ordered with immediate effect and until further orders: Sanjeev Khirwar (From Delhi to Ladakh), Rinku Dugga (From Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh),” the order stated.

The Background of the Controversy
On Thursday (May 26), The Indian Expressreported that athletes and coaches were being forced to wrap up their training before 7 pm so as to let Delhi’s Principal Secretary (Revenue) Sanjeev Khirwar walk his dog at the Thyagraj Stadium in the evening.
The report pointed out that the athletes, who earlier used to train till 8-8.30 pm under lights, were being asked to leave the ground by 7 pm. This led to disruption of practice for the athletes.
“Earlier, we continued training till 8.30 pm and sometimes even 9 pm, but now we have no option. Earlier, I took water breaks once every half-hour. Now I need a drink every five minutes,” said one junior athlete.
“My child’s practice is getting disrupted. Even if they say they use the facilities late at night, can you justify using a state-owned stadium to walk your dog? This is a gross misuse of power,” said the parent of an athlete had asked.
As their training was disrupted, several athletes were forced to shift their training to Sports Authority of India’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where floodlights remain on after 7.30 pm.
The Kalaburagi police have arrested two 19-year-old men for killing a person Vijaya Kamble for being in a relationship with the sister of one of the accused.
According to the reports, the two accused, identified as 19-year-old Shahabuddin and 19-year-old Nawaz, had attacked and stabbed 25-year-old Dalit man Vijaya Kamble with an iron rod in Wadi town in Kalaburagi on Monday night.
Vijaya Kamble, a resident of Bheema Nagar Layout, was in a relationship with a Muslim girl, the elder sister of Shahabuddin. The two Muslim youths allegedly killed the Hindu youth for being in a relationship with the Muslim girl.
The mother of the deceased said that Shahabuddin had visited Kamble’s house around six months back and had issued a warning against being in a relationship with his sister. She had added that after Vijaya returned from work, he got a phone call and went somewhere. “They stabbed him and hit him in the head”, the grieving mother told the media.

Kalaburagi Superintendent of Police Isha Pant said the girl’s family had come to know about the relationship, and since it was an interfaith relationship, there was resentment.
“It over this displeasure that Shahabuddin murdered him,” said Pant. The police have booked the two accused under IPC section 304 (murder).
According to the police, on May 25, 2022, Shahabuddin and Nawaz took Kamble under a railway bridge and attacked him using weapons, stones and bricks. The police said that the victim had been attacked brutally and finally succumbed to death. He suffered heavy bleeding on the spot and lost his life after the attack.
“There were multiple injuries on his neck, and there were hit marks on the head. He died on the spot. From the investigation so far, we have found that the attack wasn’t pre-planned, but we are in the process of finding more evidence,” Isha Pant said.
After the incident, the situation in Kalaburgi’s Wadi has turned intense. The police have deployed extra personnel in the locality to maintain law and order.
AAP leader Bhagwant Mann became the Chief Minister of Punjab on 16th March, and had resigned from Lok Sabha two days before that, but he still continues to occupy the govt accommodation he was allotted in Delhi as a Lok Sabha MP. As he has not vacated the accommodation on North Avenue in Raisina Hill even though he is no longer an MP, the Lok Sabha secretariat has asked the estates officer to initiate eviction proceedings against him for unauthorized occupation of a Central government accommodation in New Delhi.
Bhagwant Mann of AAP was elected from the Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab in the 17th Lok Sabha in 2019. He resigned as Sangrur MP to become the chief minister of Punjab in March 2022.
The secretariat has put a petition before the estates’ officer and it says in the petition that Mann was allotted the Central government’s Duplex No 33, North Avenue, along with its units and 153 North Avenue, as his regular accommodation as a member of 17th Lok Sabha. The petition further says, “The said allotment stands canceled in his name with effect from April 14 and Mann failed to vacate the premises. The occupation of the building by the former MP after April 13 is unauthorized.”
The petition sent to the estates’ officer further reads, “It is, therefore requested the proceedings for eviction of Bhagwan Mann, ex-MP and all persons may be initiated and orders for their eviction be passed.”
Even after the secretariat asked the estates officer to start the eviction proceedings, there has been no immediate reaction available from the Punjab chief minister’s office regarding this issue. According to the official documents, this residence is now allotted to Hanuman Beniwal, the RLP president and an MP from Rajasthan.
The Duplex flats at the North Avenue are newly constructed houses to be allotted to members of the parliament. 36 such houses were inaugurated by PM Modi in August 2019. The flats were constructed in place of old bungalows constructed in 1951-52, which had become very old and needed frequent maintenance. Around 400 such flats with modern amenities are being built by replacing old houses on North Avenue and South Avenue, along with the Central Vista redevelopment project that includes construction of a new parliament house, which is nearing completion.
Residential accommodation in the national capital is provided to Central government employees, MPs, judges, and other dignitaries while they are in service and posted in Delhi. As and when their tenure is completed or terminated for some reason prematurely, they become ineligible to occupy the accommodation. As per PRS Legislative, to evict a person from a residential accommodation, a Central government estate officer first issues a written notice to the individual concerned, after which he/she has to show cause within three working days as to why an eviction notice should not be issued against them.
It is notable that Aam Aadmi Party won a thumping majority in the recent Punjab assembly elections and Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the chief minister of the border state.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in a statement on May 22, 2022, had expressed concern over the illegal Mazars being built in the mountains. He had announced action against the Mazars mushrooming everywhere calling them encroachments. He also described the demographic change taking place in Uttarakhand as a matter of concern while informing about a drive to identify illegal infiltrators and Rohingyas in the state.
A few days ago, Hindu organizations created a ruckus at the Mazar next to Kailash Hospital in the posh area of Dehradun. Activists of the Hindu organization alleged that one of the accused, who sold eggs in the street, gradually gathered the entire community near Mazar. The police had to intervene in the case and the alleged servant of the Mazar, originally a resident of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, had to leave the place. Later, the encroachments accumulated there were also removed. However, according to the police, the Mazar is still present in the same place.
There was not a single mosque in Uttarakhand before 1985: Swami Darshan Bharati
Swami Darshan Bharti, a veteran saint working against illegal Mazars and drug addicts, gave some special information while talking to OpIndia about the condition before and now. He said, “Till 1985, there was not a single mosque in Uttarakhand. Here, Muslims are called Maniharis who sell women’s beauty articles. In Almora, a local goldsmith had allowed the first mosque to be built by the Maniharis with compassion. He didn’t know that after that there would be a flood of mosques here. The family members of the goldsmith who showed mercy still live in Dehradun. It would be not fair to mention his name.”
The same claim has been made by Voice for India founder and American activist Renee Linen and some others.
The first Muslim family was settled by King Katyur in the 13th century
According to Swami Darshan Bharati, “Almora was long ago ruled by the King Katyur. He then called some Muslims from Rampur to get some of his work done. Their families were given a place somewhere in the corner to live. Gradually, the population of Muslims has increased and today many areas have been created where, if you visit, you won’t feel like Uttarakhand. That place will seem like Deoband. Until 1985, these Muslims never talked about the mosque. But now there is fundamentalism. Today they need a mosque first.”
Great sin committed by ND Tiwari’s government
Swami Darshan Bharati told OpIndia that the biggest boost to Muslims in Uttarakhand was in the Congress government led by ND Tiwari. He said, “There has been a great sin in the ND Tiwari government. Under his government, the largest mosque in Uttarakhand was built on top of the temple of Naina Devi in Nainital. The mosque has been built on the road by completely encroaching upon it. The temple has also started to look small as compared to the mosque.”
He further said, “It was ill-fate of Uttarakhand, the origin of the Hindus, the first full-term government that came after the formation of the state, was that of Narayan Dutt Tiwari. We thought that this region would give the message of Hinduism to the world, but now there is a crisis of existence here. Most of the mosques built in Uttarakhand date back to the time of Narayan Dutt Tiwari. Mosques were also built in Srinagar, Pauri, Dugadda, and Kotdwar. A mosque has also been built at Dharchula, which falls on the border. In the Congress government, Muslim leaders were made Minister of State.”
Some people have also made videos of the mosque at Nainital.
In February 2022, a video of Congress leader and ND Tiwari’s aide Matabar Singh Kandari had also gone viral with a promise to give land for the mosque in Rudraprayag.
No new mosque built in the last 7 years
Swami Darshan Bharati claimed that no new mosque has been allowed to come up in Uttarakhand for the last seven years. He said, “No one will dare to make one now. We are taking action on the Mazars that have been built. Two Mazars have been constructed on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road. They also have to move away. We have stopped the construction of mosques at Joshimath and Karnaprayag. Now the citizens of Uttarakhand are becoming aware of religion. Hindus here had no idea what was happening here.”
About 2,000 illegal Mazars are built on government lands
Swami Darshan Bharati said, “Today, there are about 2000 illegal Mazars across Uttarakhand. These Mazars are occupying all the government land. The Mazars have been built on lands like irrigation department, forest department, PWD, etc. 60 to 70 percent of the government lands of Dehradun Municipal Corporation and Zila Panchayat are occupied by Muslims. Several thousand hectares of land in Azad Nagar Colony of Dehradun are under the illegal occupation of Muslims. Today, several-story high-rise mosques have come upon the lands of the Rispana river and drain passing through Rajiv Nagar in Dehradun. Apart from this, many madrasas have also been built. Today, this area seems to be Muslim-dominated. Today, the Muslims have reached Joshimath. If this is the case, then in the next 4-5 years, the culture of Devbhoomi will end.”
On social media too, many people have shared videos of illegal Mazars being built in different parts of Uttarakhand.
A video of a Mazar in Manila Salt in Almora has also been shared. It is present near the Manila Devi temple.
