NGT forms joint committee to probe alleged illegal mining by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda

0

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has formed a Joint Committee to verify the factual position and take appropriate remedial action on allegations of illegal mining by BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district.

The NGT formed a panel to investigate allegations made by Raja Ram Singh who claimed that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, a Member of Parliament from Kesar Ganj, was involved in illegal mining in villages such as Majharath, Jaitpur, and Nawabganj in Tehsil Tarbganj and District Gonda. Singh also alleged that over 700 overloaded trucks were used every day for the illegal transportation, storage, and sale of about 20 lakh cubic meters of minor minerals. Additionally, he claimed that the Patpar Ganj Bridge and Road were damaged by these overloaded trucks. The bench of Justice Arun Kumar Tyagi (Judicial member) and Dr A Senthil Vel (Expert Member) on August 2, said that “Prima facie, the averments made in the application raise questions relating to the environment arising out of the implementation of the enactments specified in Schedule I to the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010.”

The bench said that “in view of the averments made in the application, we consider it appropriate that a Joint Committee be constituted to verify the factual position and take appropriate remedial action.”

The NGT seeks a factual and Action taken Report to be submitted within two months, while fixing the matter for the next hearing on November 7, 2023.

“Accordingly, we constitute a Joint Committee comprising the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) and District Magistrate, Gonda and direct the same to meet within one week,” NGT bench said.

The NGT also directed the Committee to visit the site, look into the grievances of the applicant, associate with the applicant and a representative of the concerned project proponent, verify the factual position, and take appropriate remedial action by following the due course of law and giving the project proponent the opportunity to be heard.

“The Committee may particularly clarify compliance with Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guidelines, 2016 and Enforcement and Monitoring Guidelines for Sand Mining, 2020, including remediation/rehabilitation of mined areas and damage caused to the river Saryu,” said the NGT bench.

Muslim girls protest outside Mumbai college against dress code banning burqa and hijab, college allows them on campus with conditions

0

On Wednesday, August 2, protests were staged outside the NG Acharya & DK Marathe College in Mumbai’s Chembur against the college’s uniform policy. The protests started after security guards outside the college gates barred entry to Burqa-clad girls as they failed to comply with the college’s rules pertaining to the uniform. The parents of such girls were also present during the protests. Reportedly, the college later stepped back and allowed the girls to enter the college.

After police officers arrived and negotiated with the parents and college officials, the situation was placated. By evening, the college issued a statement outlining some specific guidelines to be followed concerning the dress code.

The photos and videos of the incident went viral on social media. A large gathering of Burqa-clad students and their parents gathered outside the campus, as seen in one of the videos from the protest site.

While speaking about the incident, College Principal Vidya Gauri Lele stated that the college had recently implemented a dress code this year and that the rules had been communicated to the parents well in advance.

“We held a meeting with parents on the 1st of May to go through this new dress code policy. Everything, including the prohibition on the burqa, the hijab, scarves, and stickers, had been announced. Everyone had agreed to the dress code at the time. However, they are currently protesting,” she stated, adding that if any girl is opposed to the dress code she is free to leave the college.

The Muslim girl students of the college claimed that they feel uncomfortable in leaving the house without donning a burqa or hijab because it is an obligation for them. They reportedly asked for permission to put on scarves.

In a statement later that evening, the college authorities said that in consideration of the safety and dignity of the protesting girl students, they will be permitted to enter the college wearing a burqa, hijab, or scarf. However, the principal specified that they will be required to remove it in the washroom before entering the classroom and may wear it again while leaving the classroom in the evening.

OpIndia talks to the principal

OpIndia talked to Principal Vidya Gauri Lele on the issue, who reiterated that the uniform code was communicated to the students well in advance, which included ban on various items like hijab, fancy bags, stickers, caps etc. She said, “We had implemented uniforms for students of 11th and 12th standard which fall under school education. The parents were informed about this in a meeting which was held in this regard on 1st May 2023. They were informed that fancy bags, stickers, hijab, topi is not to be worn and only the uniform prescribed by the school must be worn. Because it is a school, it is not a college. Some junior colleges in Maharashtra are run alongside senior colleges. But junior colleges still come under school education. In all other states, junior colleges are associated with schools. In Maharashtra, the provision is for both ways.”

When asked specifically whether the students can wear a burqa, the principal confirmed that it is not allowed. “They cannot wear burqas inside the college because we have already implemented a uniform. After they enter the college, they can go to the washroom and take off all that is not mentioned as part of uniform, wear their uniform and then they can go around anywhere in the college,” she said.

Responding to the query on the students being asked to remove the burqa outside the college gate, Vidya Gauri Lele said, “Yes, earlier it was said to remove their burqas before entering the college. And after that, we altered it a little (by allowing them to change inside the college). We do not have enough staff to keep a check if students change into the prescribed uniform after entering college or not. So who will monitor all this? This is a simple matter related to uniform and nothing more. The uniform has been introduced so that no one is able to discriminate on the basis of caste, religion, and class. So that all students have an equal standing.”

She added, “And the uniform for girls has been prescribed by making their modesty a priority. They have been prescribed a salwar kameez and jacket. We have fixed a vendor who supplies these and all students have bought it. Only a few are left.”

It is worth recalling that a similar ban on hijab in colleges in Karnataka sparked a controversy last year that went all the way to the Supreme Court and triggered protests across the country.

Karnataka Hijab Controversy

The hijab controversy in Karnataka gained traction in the first week of January last year when eight Muslim girls were denied entry to classes at a Udupi college as they wore hijabs. The college authorities had informed that the hijab was not a part of the uniform dress code mandated for the students.

The Muslim girls, who were adamant about wearing hijab, subsequently petitioned the High Court to be allowed to attend classes while wearing hijab. They claimed that donning the Hijab was both a “integral practice of Islam” and their “fundamental right” guaranteed by Articles 14 and 25 of the Indian Constitution.

As Hindu students in Karnataka protested against Muslim girls continuing to wear the hijab to college by donning saffron scarves around their necks, the dispute intensified. In Udupi, Shivamogga, Bagalkote, and other areas, tensions persisted at some educational institutions as reports of stone-pelting and violence came in from different regions of the state.

According to prior reports, after meeting the Campus Front of India (CFI), the student arm of the now-banned Islamist group Popular Front of India (PFI), in October 2021, the students started wearing the hijab to colleges and schools. The students admitted that they were in contact with the CFI.

Haryana: Violence fueled by social media in Nuh, Govt starts crackdown on accounts spreading disinformation

Central authorities and ministries have launched a massive crackdown on around 100 social media handles that have been exceedingly engaged and continuously participating in circulating misinformation about the Nuh violence. According to the police, they are utilising the disturbance in Haryana to forward their nefarious objective, which could weaken the law and order situation or further destabilise the peace in the state.

The accounts are dispersed over a number of social media platforms, including Twitter (now X). The center has already commenced the process of blocking them. News 18 quoted a senior government official saying that after a thorough review, some of them were blocked and others will soon face the repercussions.

Close to 100 of these accounts will be reportedly disabled after it has been determined that they are inciting violence and stirring public sentiment using audio-visual mediums. Analysis has revealed that their content has the capacity to provoke communities or groups and to promote violence.

The sources revealed that a thorough investigation by a central intelligence agency has revealed that they are provocative, distribute propaganda and stoked public emotions. Some of them which broadcast videos to a particular community on social media platforms were also identified by another department of the center. It will soon receive a list of the former so that restricting them can be initiated.

New incidents were reported on 2 August from Manesar and West Gurugram, as tensions in some areas of Haryana persisted. The city was mainly calm despite one incident in the western part of the city and two in Manesar.

The state government issued an order to halt internet access in the districts of Nuh, Faridabad, Sohna, Pataudi, Manesar, and Palwal till 5 August after evaluating the situation in a few regions. The district administration in Gurugram permitted schools to open in the Sohna subdivision.

As section 144 remains in place and the situation remains tense, the authorities are alert against any social media rumors that can spark fresh tension.

The investigation per the sources disclosed that a group had encouraged people to assemble at a particular location and time. Some handles were used to mobilize the crowd and instigate violence against a targeted community. The details and intelligence obtained by a central agency served as the basis for the report’s preparation.

Notably, a number of Muslim users carried out propaganda posts and drove their followers to attack the Jalabhishek Yatra organized by Hindus. Calls for violence against Hindus were made 2 days prior to the incident on July 31. They alleged that Gau Rakshak Monu Manesar was scheduled to be a part of the religious processions. An old video of him was also published, along with a bogus assertion that it was recent and a claim that he was the cause of the violence against Hindus.

Gyanvapi case: Plea filed in Allahabad High Court seeking preservation of the historical evidence at the disputed structure

The Vishwa Vedic Sanathan Sangh has filed a plea in the Allahabad HC seeking the preservation of the Gyanvapi complex. The applicants have claimed that members of the Anjuman Intezamia Masajid Committee are “tampering with the historical evidence present there that is related to the Hindu religion and were found during the court-ordered survey” in May 2022.

“A PIL has been filed in Allahabad HC demanding that plot number 9130 in the Gyanvapi campus should be sealed…The demand has been put forth so that the Hindu symbols like Trishul, Lotus & Swastik are not damaged”, said Advocate Saurabh Tiwari. The PIL has also sought that the premises of the Gyanvapi complex be sealed.

The PIL read, “Till the decision of the Varanasi court in the Shringar Gauri case, the entry of non-Hindus in the campus should be banned and Hindu symbols found in the Gyanvapi campus should be ordered to be preserved. Such arrangements should be made that the work of the ASI survey in Gyanvapi is not affected.”

The application further stated, “On July 24, when the ASI survey was done between 7 am and 12 noon, the mosque committee had locked the gate of the so-called mosque and refused to give the key to the ASI, which makes it clear that the committee is attempting to destroy evidence related to the Hindu religion”.

The application could reportedly be taken up on August 4, Friday, according to Advocate Rajesh Mishra, the special counsel in the Gyanvapi cases in the Varanasi district court.

Three days ago, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said in an interview with ANI that clear Hindu symbols can be seen on the walls of the (disputed) Gyanvapi structure.

He said, “There are idols of Hindu gods and goddesses carved on the walls. There are Trishuls and other Hindu symbols all over it. Anybody who has eyesight can see that. There is a Jyotirling. The walls of the structure are screaming the truth. I think now is the time the Muslim society should come together and acknowledge that historical mistakes have been made, and make amends.”

Islamist threatens News 18 anchor Aman Chopra after ‘secular-liberals’ twist his statement and target him for highlighting crimes of stone pelting

An Islamist Maulana was seen issuing threats of violence to News 18 anchor Aman Chopra after he was targeted by the ‘secular-liberal’ gang for his statement against stone peltings.

In a statement to a news reporter, a Maulana was seen telling that Aman Chopra he might be the victim of rioters one day too. “You have neighbors too. You live here and pass through these roads. One day rioters may surround you and u might have to come face to face with them. Then you will realize who you are speaking against.”

Earlier, News 18 anchor Aman Chopra became the fresh target of self-proclaimed ‘secular liberals’ who are currently desperate to whitewash another incident of Islamic violence against Hindus in Nuh, Haryana.

On July 31, a Jalabhishek Yatra by Hindus in Haryana’s Nuh was brutally attacked by local Meo Muslims. Though the mainstream media and their ‘secular liberal’ voices tried their best to pass it as ‘clashes during a rally’, social media videos and eyewitness statements soon proved that it was a well-coordinated, planned attack.

On his show ‘Desh Nahi Jhukne Denge’ on July 31, News 18 Aman Chopra discussed the Nuh violence. He had highlighted that the Yatra happens every year, and that day was a Shravan Monday, an auspicious day for Hindus. He mentioned the fact that Hindus are the minority in Nuh.

Discussing how the brutal attack was done on a Hindu religious procession, triggering violence, arson, and vandalism, Aman Chopra highlighted the issue of massive stone pelting.

Screenshot from Aman Chopra’s show on July 31

Chopra asked why the Nuh attack has not sparked a human rights debate for Hindus who are actually minorities in the Nuh area. He stressed that the instances of stone pelting are concerning and they need permanent treatment from the government.

‘Secular liberals’ attack Aman Chopra, tag his boss, and target Mukesh Ambani too, compare ‘permanent treatment’ to Hitler’s ‘final solution’

Rohini Singh, Ajit Anjum, Sakshi Joshi, Ravish Kumar and Rahul Dev are some of the names who targeted Aman Chopra for his coverage of the Nuh violence issue.

Ravish Kumar posted that the Opposition leaders should meet Mukesh Ambani to discuss how a news channel owned by his conglomerate is spreading hate.

Ravish Kumar’s tweet targeting News 18
Rohini Singh’s tweet targeting Aman Chopra and tagging News 18 boss

Tagging News 18 Chairman Adil Zainulbhai, Rohini Singh wrote why is he allowing ‘hate’ to be spilled on his channel on a daily basis. She accused the anchor of ‘dehumanizing’ ordinary citizens.

Sakshi Joshi shared a collage of News 18 shows, most from Aman Chopra’s ‘Desh Nahi Jhukne Denge’, and tagged Adil Zainulbhai asking if he recognizes those shows. She added that those anchors have turned News 18 into a ‘hate channel’

Sakshi Joshi’s tweet

Another handle shared “If Ambani still doesn’t sack Aman Chopra, he should be considered an accomplice in the murder and violence.”

Rahul Dev went a step ahead and claimed out of nowhere that Aman Chopra is advocating a Hitlerisque ‘final solution’. Despite the fact that Chopra had called for a ‘permanent ilaaj’ meaning ‘permanent treatment’ against incidents of stone pelting, Dev insisted that he was advocating for ‘final solution’, similar to what Hitler intended for Jews. His tweet insinuates that asking questions about stone pelting (here done by the Muslim community against a Hindu procession) is the same as the targeting of Jews by Hitler.

Responding to Rahul Dev’s tweet, Aman Chopra shared that he had demanded ‘permanent treatment’ for the criminal stone pelters and rioters. He added that once the victim of Hitler’s ‘final solution’, the Jewish state of Israel now hunts down its enemies right from their homes. He asked why exactly does Rahul Dev have a problem with the demand for permanent treatment for the problem of stone pelting and rioting.

Aman Chopra responds to ‘Secular Liberal’ gang, asks why they want to whitewash crimes of stone pelters

Aman Chopra responded to the hateful attacks against him in his show. Speaking on how some veteran journalists have now moved on to YouTube to peddle their propaganda, he asked why they are so outraged when a news anchor demanded a solution to the constant and rampant problem of stone pelting, and rioting.

Calling out the whitewashing of certain crimes and the attempts by the so-called secular liberal journalists to besmirch an anchor who tried to highlight the problem of stone pelting, Chopra asked whether the YouTube journalists want the youth of India to remain jobless and keep pelting stones.

“The stone that gets pelted is neither Hindu nor Muslim. When the stone gets pelted it kills or maims anyone it hits, regardless of their religion. However, there are some anchors who want to attach the stone to one particular religion. They have found livelihoods for themselves on YouTube, but they probably do not want children from a significant section of society to have an education and get jobs. They want the children from a particular community to remain jobless, and uneducated, and keep pelting stones. They do not want a solution to the problem. They want to support this stone pelting. They just want their YouTube channels to garner more and more subscribers. Their minds have been blocked by the same stones, so much so that they twisted my statement of ‘permanent treatment’ to Hitler’s ‘final solution’.

UP: 33 arrested after viral video shows crowd chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ during Muharram procession in Jaunpur

0

The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested 33 people in the Jaunpur district for raising anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans during a procession that was taken out on Saturday (July 29) to mark the 10th day of Muharram.

The action was taken after a 30-second video clip of the incident went viral on social media, wherein Islamists could be heard shouting Allahu Akbar, Naara-e-Taqbeer and Pakistan Zindabad slogans. The incident reportedly took place in the Godhana village in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The Jaunpur police released a video byte on August 1, 2023, informing about the incident. Speaking about the incident Shailendra Kumar Singh, additional superintendent of police (ASP) Rural said that a video emerged on social media on July 31 wherein some anti-social elements could be seen raising anti-India and ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans during the 10th Muharram procession that was held on July 29.

He added that the incident happened in the Godhana village, falling under the limits of the Meerganj police station.

ASP further said that the police immediately took cognisance of the video and booked 33 people under sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion), 153B (Imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration; If committed in a place of public worship etc), 259A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs), 188 (criminalises any deliberate disobedience of an order that is duly promulgated by a public servant empowered by law to do so) and 505(2) (hate speech) of the IPC.

Gyanvapi case: Scientific survey necessary in interest of justice, says Allahabad HC, rejects Muslim side’s plea challenging ASI survey

On Thursday, August 3, the Allahabad High Court dismissed the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee’s plea that challenged the Varanasi district court order on 21st July allowing the survey of the disputed Gyanvapi structure by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI). The court had reserved its order after the hearing on 27th July.

The HC said that the scientific survey is necessary in the interest of justice. “Issue of a commission is permission. The Varanasi Court was justified in ordering for ASI survey of the premises. The scientific survey is necessary in the interest of justice,” the bench of Chief Justice Pritinker Diwaker said.

The survey, which began on 24th July, three days after the Varanasi district court order, was put on hold by the High Court as the matter was still being heard in the Supreme Court. On the very first day of the survey, the Muslim side moved Supreme Court seeking a stay on the survey. Consequently, the apex court put the survey on hold till 5 PM on 26th July.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing the Hindu petitioners in the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi complex case had shared that the Muslim side misled the apex court on the scientific survey of the disputed structure which was underway until the SC order.

I want to say this that the Muslim side, Anjuman Intezamia, misled the Supreme Court and gave the wrong statement that excavation is being held there whereas no such excavation process is being done,” Jain said while speaking to the media after the SC order.

Furthermore, on 25th July, Allahabad High Court agreed to hear the petition of the Muslim side against the ASI survey. The survey by the ASI is to determine the claims of the Hindu side that the mosque located next to the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi was built on a temple.

Journalist with Reuters, anti-Hindu TheWire tries to internationalise Gurugram violence, skips mentioning Islamist violence against Hindus at Nuh

On 2nd August (local time), a journalist attempted to whitewash the Nuh violence and play up the Gurugram violence during the United States State Department press briefing calling it a ‘Hindu-Muslim’ clash. In her question, Reuters reporter Daphne Psaledakis asked US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller about the violence and asked if any Americans were impacted by it in Gurugram.

Miller, on his part, gave a generic response urging calm and urging parties involved to refrain from violent actions.

Psaledakis questioned, “Have you heard from any Americans impacted by the religious violence in Gurugram near New Delhi? And do you have any comment on the Hindu-Muslim clashes in the region?” Interestingly, she skipped to mention that it was Muslims who attacked a religious procession of Hindus and six have been confirmed dead as a result of the Nuh Shobha Yatra Attack.

Miller replied, “I would say of – with respect to the clashes that obviously we would, as always, urge calm and urge parties to refrain from violent actions.” Speaking on if any Americans were affected, he said, “With respect to whether we’ve heard from any Americans, I’m not aware of that. I’m happy to follow up with the – with the embassy.”

Who is Daphne Psaledakis?

Daphne Psaledakis is a US-based Foreign Policy reporter who has been associated with the news agency Reuters since October 2019. Most of her work on Reuters is related to foreign policies. It was a bit surprising that a question about Indian internal matters came from her as she has hardly any history of asking questions about India.

Interestingly, when she was working with Reuters as an intern in June 2018, Daphne Psaledakis wrote an article for The Wire. In Nuh Shobha Yatra Attack, The Wire is one of the frontrunners who have been trying to whitewash the wrongdoings of Islamists. The Wire has written a full-fledged report blaming Hindu leaders from VHP and Bajrang Dal for inciting violence. The portal claimed videos of Hindu leaders, including Bajrang Dal’s Monu Manesar, were the “immediate trigger” for the violence.

In another report, The Wire claimed the statements of devotees being held hostage at the temple were false. They also claimed the temple was not damaged. Both have been refuted with evidence by OpIndia in its Nuh Shobha Yatra Attack reports.

Reuters reporting on Nuh violence

There are two reports by Reuters on anti-Hindu violence in Nuh of Mewat, Haryana, reported by Sakshi Dayal. In its reports, Reuters has called it “clashes between Hindus and Muslims”. As per its 1st August report, the “clashes” erupted “after a Hindu religious procession passed through the Muslim dominated Nuh region in Haryana state”.

The first two paragraphs did not mention the attack on devotees and temples or Hindus being killed. However, Reuters did mention that a “mosque” was torched and its cleric was killed. The mosque they mentioned was not even a mosque but an incomplete disputed structure with an “Anjuman Masjid” board. The court stayed the construction on that land as it was illegal.

Furthermore, the report mentioned that “mobs roamed the streets, setting fire to scrap shops and vandalising small eateries, most of which belonged to Muslims”. Again, no mention of the attack on Hindus in Nuh. Later in the report, Reuters quoted a Nuh police spokesperson saying the clashes broke between two groups when the procession was meant to move from one temple to another.

The second report from 2nd August again mentioned a “mosque” being set on fire and a cleric killed. While it mentioned 116 people had been arrested in connection to Nuh violence but did not mention who these rioters were.

The next target in the report was the Hindu nationalist groups that staged protests against the violent attack on Hindu devotees in Nuh. Then came the usual “Muslims are in danger under the Modi government” rhetoric. The report read, “Many of India’s 200 million Muslims have started questioning their place in society under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist government, with incidents including lynching Muslims on suspicion of transporting beef, adding to their fears.”

Anti-India reporting by Reuters

Reuters has a history of anti-India reporting. In April 2023, after the murder of criminal-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, Reuters was one of the international media houses that focused on his political career instead of showing his criminal background. He was painted as an “MP murdered in broad daylight” by the media houses.

In March 2023, the Government of India denied Reuters’ claims about new security testing of smartphones and a crackdown on pre-installed apps. The GoI called the report’ deliberate disinformation’.

In August 2022, GoI issued a press release refuting claims of media houses, including Reuters, that India was planning to import wheat and said there was ample stock.

Bittu Bajrangi, present at Nuh Shobha Yatra, says some Hindus carried swords for worship, not violence, demands Yogi’s bulldozer action on Islamist rioters

On Monday, July 31st, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Jalabhishek Yatra was attacked by a Muslim mob in the Nuh region of Mewat, Haryana. It was however alleged that some of the Yatra participants were yielding swords. With limited visuals, this was used to whitewash the Islamist violence which was unleashed against thousands of Hindu devotees in Nuh. Now, Gau Rakshak Bittu Bajrangi who was present at the procession in an interview with AajTak said that the swords were for the purpose of worship.

“Like every year, we also planned the shobha yatra this year. The yatra was supposed to start in Nuh’s Nalhar Mahadev Mandir and proceed from there to other areas. We were joined by a number of women, children, and elderly persons from all across the district. We conducted kirtan and performed puja in the mandir. From there, there was only one way to get back. We had hardly proceeded about 500 metres when the cars began to leave when we noticed that the cars in front had been set on fire by miscreants,” Bittu Bajrangi said.

Bittu Bajrangi further said that there was a small mosque on the roadside where around 250 people were present. They carried firearms and opened fire. Moreover, Bajrangi said he was afraid for women and children in the yatra.

“We took a U-turn and chose to return to the temple when the other side started firing. We felt it to be safe for us. I was worried for the women and children, not for myself. We did not want an unfortunate tragedy like the one in Manipur to occur here. We were scared for our mothers,” Bittu Bajrangi said.

When asked why the Yatris were seen carrying weapons in the viral social media videos, Bittu Bajrangi stated that only a few people were carrying firearms and had licenses.

“There were a few persons with weapons, but they were all licenced. And the swords we carry are used in rituals, marriages, and puja; they are not meant to commit murder,” Bajrangi asserted.

On his viral ‘baap toh baap rahega’ video, Bajrangi claimed it was only a response to those who threatened him.

Gau Rakshak Bittu Bajrangi has demanded Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath-style bulldozer action against the miscreants. He opined that the miscreants involved in Nuh violence should be killed encounter.

“They killed our officers, they killed Ram bhakts. What was their fault? Should we not take Shri Ram’s name in this country? We had taken out a peaceful yatra, with our women and children.”

Nuh Shobha Yatra attack

On Monday, violence broke out in Haryana’s Nuh district during the ‘Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra,’ which was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal. The death toll from the clashes has now reached 6, including two personnel from the Haryana home guard. The deputy commissioner urged people to stay indoors, venture outside only for essential tasks, and disregard any circulating rumours.

Vehicles were burnt and stones pelted at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Jalabhishek Yatra as Islamists unleashed violence against thousands of Hindus in the Muslim-dominated region of Nuh, Mewat in Haryana.
