Newslaundry whines about Hindus not wanting Islamist predators in Garba events, calls it ‘Hindutva conspiracy’: Here are how Hindu women are targeted during Garba

The left-liberal ecosystem has a penchant for ‘secularising’ Hindu festivals when they are not busy disparaging them. After the Hindu rights organisations took the initiative to spread awareness about Islamists entering Garba events with malicious intent, several Garba organisers started restricting the entry of non-Hindus into the Garba Pandals.

This, however, has left the Islamist-sympathising lot infuriated. In this vein, leftist propaganda portal Newslaundry has whined about the Hindus not ‘welcoming’ Islamist predators in Garba events to preserve the farcical ‘secular’ fabric of India.

Much like the leftist media ecosystem has been doing with “Love Jihad”, Newslaundry trivialised what it called “Garba Jihad bogey” as a ‘Hindutva’ conspiracy theory. In an article titled After media’s ‘garba jihad’ bogey, Hindi newspaper’s garba event ‘only for Sanatani Hindus’, the propaganda outlet expressed its displeasure over the Garba event organisers barring the entry of non-Hindus. Moreover, it pointed out how media outlets including News24 MP-Chhattisgarh, Patrika and Red FM sponsored a Garba event which stated that only Hindu Sanatani families would be allowed to enter.

The Newslaundry suggested that this is somehow a problem, and Garba events should be open to all regardless of their religion. It further cited some people as saying that their Aadhaar cards and names were asked, and those who did not carry their ID cards were checked for religious lockets, sacred threads etc to confirm their Hindu identity. Amusingly, Newslaundry found a girl ‘allergic’ to vermillion who refused to apply Tilak on her forehead and was forced to apply the same to gain entry.

The leftist propaganda outlet Newslaundry shot its gun off the shoulders of the Garba visitors it quoted to target Patrika for funding the Garba event in Bhopal which barred entry for non-Sanatani people. Patrika, however, succumbed to the gaslighting and its marketing head in Bhopal Amit Trishal said that the publication is pulling out of the event. He went on to call the “Pravesh keval Hindu Sanatani parivar ke liye (entry only for Hindu Sanatani family)” note on the banners and posters of the event ‘discriminatory’.

While left-liberal media calls the “Entry only for Hindu Sanatani family” rule as discriminatory, there have been numerous incidents wherein Hindu women were victimised by Muslim youths who entered Garba Pandals. If Hindus want to celebrate their festivals with their co-religionists only, what is discriminatory about it?

The Newslaundry article quoted a 24-year-old documentary filmmaker saying that it would have been ‘embarrassing’ if their Muslim friends had come along and noticed the “Hindu only” note on the Garba passes. This seems nothing but a way of the propaganda outlet to gaslight Hindus for not being ‘inclusive’ and ‘secular’ enough to let Muslims inside the Garba events. The leftist hypocrisy is amusing.

These same people argue that Hindu processions should not stop outside mosques, pass from ‘Muslim areas’ or play loud religious music there to preserve ‘communal harmony’ but Hindus to lay a red carpet for Muslims to enter even though their religion prohibits them from partaking festivities of non-Muslims, and perhaps molest Hindu women or cause a ruckus.

“Entry only for Sanatani Hindus”: A discriminatory note or the need of the hour?

Garba is a devotional dance performed by the devotees of Maa Durga during Navratri in her honour for liberating the world from the terror of demons and in celebration of the victory of Dharma over Adharma. It is a celebration of the feminine form of the divine. Garba is not a government scheme that every citizen has a right over it. Even to avail of the benefits of government schemes, there is certain eligibility criteria. If any non-Hindu, particularly, the adherents of a faith that clearly directs them not to associate partners with their God, or partake in celebration of the festivals of polytheists like Hindus, want to join Garba celebration, they should revert to Sanatan Dharma, invoke devotion for Maa Durga first.

While Newslaundry and the Islamists deem “Sanatani only” restrictions in Garba events as discriminatory, and dismiss incidents of targeted harassment of Hindu women by Muslims as ‘Garba Jihad Hindutva Conspiracy Theory’, there is ample evidence to suggest that the ‘Jihadi’ threat is real.

On the very same day (7th October), the Newslaundry article in question was published, it was reported that in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur, Muslim youths molested a woman returning from the Garba event.

On the 9th of October, it was reported that a Muslim youth named Feroz attended a garba event using a fake Hindu identity in Ujjain. Feroz posed as Rahul and entered the Garba Pandal with condoms. Yes, you read it right, he was carrying condoms at the Hindu religious event and was caught by the activists of Hindu Jagran Manch.

In the Guna district, it was reported that five Muslim boys entered the Garba Pandal under suspicious circumstances, as told by the police and were detained.

In October last year, it was reported that one Fareed Shah attempted to enter Garba Pandal in Hyderabad’s Begumpet Hockey Stadium by posing as a Hindu person named Ashish to lure some Hindu girl. He was stopped by Bajrang Dal activists.

In October 2022, it was reported that 8 Muslim men were detained by the police in Indore for trying to enter garba venues by concealing their identities. In another incident from the same year, it was reported that a Muslim person was arrested for passing lewd remarks on Hindu women at Garba Pandal in Palsikar colony.

A youth named Madhusudan Modi was attacked with a knife by three Islamists named Shahrukh, Zubair, and Samir at a dandiya event held in Bikaner in Rajasthan on October 1, 2022. These Muslim youths were molesting girls who had come to play Garba.

On October 1st 2022, six Hindu students were attacked by four accused, identified as Rathod Amin Gulab Nabi, Nizami Moin Nurmahammad, Ganchi Amanbhai Firozbhai, and Chauhan Mahamadnuman Mahamadhanif, for objecting to Islamic songs being played during a Garba event at BK Patel Arts & Commerce College of Savli in Vadodara. The four accused attacked the Hindu students with iron belts and stones.

On September 30 2022, some Muslim youths forcefully entered the Garba venue in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Muslim youths, however, fled as soon as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal activists arrived.

In the same year, seven Muslim youths were arrested by the police from the Garba pandal of Pandharinath in Indore. They were reportedly making videos of Hindu girls.

Last year, OpIndia reported that in Gujarat’s Bharuch district, Muslims of the Ikhar village had threatened he Hindu tribal community not to organise Navratri and said they will pelt stones if the event is held. Why? Because the Muslims claimed tha it is their area.

These are only a few of the numerous such incidents involving Muslims attacking Hindus or attempting to harass Hindu women. While all Muslims may or may not harbour hatred and malice for Hindus and their festivals, the Hindus cannot and should not give a free pass to Islamist predators because some online one-way secularism enthusiast will feel ‘embarrassed’ or a propaganda outlet like Newslaundry will cry ‘secularism khatre mein hai’. It is in the nature of Islamo-leftists to downplay crimes against Hindus, dismiss targeted attacks on them as hoaxes, conspiracy theories and whatnot to make sure that Islamists get a free pass to target Hindus while the Hindus remain oblivious to it and blindly carry the burden of ‘secularism’, ‘inclusivity’, ‘diversity’ and ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb’ etc.

Gonda: Munna, Sultan, Aslam and others attack Durga Puja pandal, pelt stones on devotees and abuse deites, injure 12 Hindus including kids

0

Muslims in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh stormed a pandal dedicated to Durga Puja. The mob pelted stones at the Hindus present there and abused the deities. They even chased children with sticks. A case has been registered against the accused. According to media reports, the blindfold around the eyes of the goddess was removed after placing the idol in the pandal in the Maskanwa Bazaar area of Gonda on 9th October. The Hindu community has been installing the idol there for the past several years and a large number of people were present on the occasion.

After the worship, some Hindu kids started bursting crackers outside this pandal which enraged the Muslims who live in the neighbourhood. The aggressive members of a Muslim family arrived there and started abusing the Hindus. They first pelted stones at the devotees and then attacked them with sticks. The perpetrators have been identified as Munna, Sultan and Aslam among other Muslims and their families. Around 10-12 Hindus were critically wounded during the assault. When Hindus tried to pacify them, they became more hostile and called other Muslims from nearby areas.

Afterwards, the police were informed about the matter and a large police force including the District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) Gonda reached the spot and put an end to the violence. The perpetrators ran away from there. The incident led to a tense atmosphere in the area. The police tried to placate the enraged Hindus including members of the puja committee and assured tough action against the offenders.

Children were also injured in this stone pelting. The victims are now receiving medical attention. Hindus have also filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the Muslims. 12 Muslims are named as accused in the case. A case has also been registered against some illegal individuals. Police teams have been formed to search and apprehend the culprits. Further inquiry is underway as the matter is still under investigation.

0

On Thursday, 10th October, the Chamoli Police in Uttarakhand arrested a Muslim individual working as a barber in Therali for raping a minor girl and making a video of it. The incident took place in February this year, however, it came to the fore only after a video went viral over social media prompting the parents of the victim to file a police complaint on 8th October.

Police after the arrest conducted a flag march in the city and appealed to the people to maintain peace and order.

As per the reports, the accused had befriended the victim on social media and began talking to her. On 16th February, the accused Muslim called the girl into his shop and intoxicated her with some substance that made her feel unconscious. The accused then raped the girl and recorded her video. When the girl gained consciousness, the accused threatened the victim using a knife to keep her mouth shut.

Later the girl blocked the contact of the accused after which the latter began calling the mother and brother of the victim. He continued to threaten the victim, however, later he made her video viral.

The parents of the girl then filed a police complaint on 8th October and the police eventually identified the accused and arrested him on Thursday, 10th October. The accused was produced in the court of Special Sessions Judge Bindhyachal Singh where he was sent to jail on the orders of the court.

Shimla: Muslim group retracts assurance of demolishing illegal construction of Sanjauli mosque, to move High Court challenging local court order to demolish top 3 floors

0

The members of the Muslim community are retracting their own statements regarding the illegally constructed mosque in the Sanjauli area of Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla. They had earlier proposed to demolish the unlawful part of the building in the wake of major protests by the local Hindu community. However, the Muslims are now threatening to take the matter to the high court.

Notably, the Municipal Commissioner Court on Saturday ordered the demolition of illegally built three floors of the Sanjauli Mosque. The Court gave two months to the Masjid committee and Waqf Board to complete the demolition process.

However, despite the demolition order, the Muslims aren’t taking any action to remove the unauthorised portion of the mosque in the Mandi region which was erected on land belonging to the Public Works Department (PWD). The mosque committee was provided a 30-day deadline by a local court to dismantle the mosque’s illegal part.

Hindus took to the streets, launched massive demonstrations and observed shutdowns against these illegal constructions and demanded their demolition. Afterwards, the Sanjauli mosque’s committee applied to the Municipal Corporation office and asked them to remove the illegal portion of the building which they claimed was constructed by outsiders who came there. The Muslims assured that they had no objection to the action and alleged that they wanted to do this in the name of brotherhood and harmony.

On 5th October the Municipal Corporation approved the submission and decided to take action. Shimla’s Municipal Corporation Commissioner also issued directives in this regard and approved the mosque’s three storeys to be dismantled. The mosque committee is set to receive a formal directive on this as well, shortly. However, the All Himachal Muslims Organisation has decided to approach the high court in opposition to the move. The decision was made during a meeting on 9th October which was organised by the group in Shimla.

The Muslim group declared that it would challenge the order in the high court and fight for the right to freedom of religion for all Muslims. It further claimed that the decision is beyond facts and cannot be accepted at any cost. The Sanjauli Mosque Committee, however, denied such claims. According to the committee, it is satisfied with the Municipal Corporation’s decision. They stated that it was their own choice and had disassociated themselves from the Muslim organization’s decision.

The head of the Mosque Committee, Latif, asserted that he will begin demolishing the mosque’s undamaged portion as soon as a copy of the order is received. Additionally, he charged the Muslim outfit with inciting individuals. Notably, Congress minister Anirudh Singh also highlighted that the mosque was unlawful, in his speech in the state assembly which caused a split between the party leaders.

Hindu organization’s ultimatum on Mandi’s Mosque

Hindu organizations have issued an ultimatum about the illegally constructed mosque in Mandi. The Municipal Corporation declared the construction of the mosque on Jail Road in Mandi as illegal in the month of September and issued a notice regarding its demolition. It also cut off the electricity and water connection of the mosque. The illegal part of the mosque has to be demolished by 12th October. However, Muslims have still not taken any steps to implement the order which has infuriated the Hindus who warned to surround the Municipal Corporation office if the situation persists.

‘All India Lawyers’ Association for Justice’ with links to Islamists & Maoists and Scroll target Bareilly court judge over love jihad judgement: Here is how it is a real growing threat

The All India Lawyers’ Association for Justice (AILAJ) and certain sections of the media, such as Scroll, recently targeted Justice Ravi Kumar Diwakar of Bareilly court for his definition of ‘love jihad’ in the judgment of State of UP vs Mohammad Alim. AILAJ and Scroll attempted to undermine the importance of the Bareilly court’s ruling, downplaying the existence of ‘love jihad’. They labelled it a conspiracy theory or a political tool in their criticism of the judgment.

However, the facts of this case, as well as many similar incidents, clearly demonstrate that ‘love jihad’ is not a figment of the imagination but a growing threat that demands immediate legal and social attention. While several states, including Uttar Pradesh, have introduced anti-conversion laws, these have not proven sufficient to stop members of the Muslim community from luring Hindu girls and taking advantage of them while posing as Hindus.

Love jihad is real: A systematic threat

Scroll claimed in its report that love jihad is a figment of the Hindutva imagination. The judgment in the Alim case, however, provides a clear example of how Muslim men are deceiving Hindu women under false pretences to convert them. According to the court judgment and the evidence presented during the trial, Alim introduced himself as “Anand”, a Hindu, with the aim of luring the victim into a relationship.

After gaining her trust, he manipulated her into a fake marriage in a temple and coerced her into a sexual relationship. He took objectionable videos and photographs of the victim and used them to force her into further sexual encounters. The deceit continued until she became pregnant and eventually discovered his true identity as a Muslim when she followed him to his house. On top of the shock of learning that “Anand” was, in fact, “Alim”, she faced pressure from his family to convert to Islam and was forced to abort the child.

This case is not an isolated incident. It follows a pattern of deceit and coercion, as seen in this and other cases across the country. In fact, OpIndia has documented hundreds, if not thousands, of such cases, with the numbers continuing to grow everyday. The modus operandi is similar in most cases, a Muslim youth pretends to be Hindu, some even make ID cards like Aadhaar with the fake name, trap Hindu women into relationships, and then force them into converting to Islam.

AILAJ’s criticism of the case, deeming it a “communal, misogynistic, and paternalistic” judgment, shows that the group has an ideological bias. They claimed that the court’s focus on love jihad was driven by right-wing politics. In doing so, they completely ignored the real-life evidence of systematic deception. Why? Simply because it does not fit a specific ideological narrative. Their actions are a grave disservice to the victims of love jihad.

The legal system has an obligation to address crimes based on facts and testimonies. In this case, there were multiple witnesses and a consistent timeline that firmly established that love jihad is more than just a conspiracy theory.

Evidence speaks for itself: Disproving false narratives

Critics of the judgment, including AILAJ and Scroll, argued that there was an absence of explicit photographic or video evidence presented in court. According to them, this weakened the case against Alim. AILAJ went so far as to accuse Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar of bias due to his political leanings. They claimed that the judgment was influenced by personal prejudices, pointing to his previous remarks where he suggested that the head of state should be a religious figure.

However, the fact remains that Alim introduced himself as a Hindu, performed a fraudulent marriage in a Hindu temple, and later coerced the victim into sexual relations. All of this was done while hiding his true identity as a Muslim. There is simply no justification for his actions, nor for the actions of other Islamists who have been caught using similar tactics across the country. If their intentions were genuine, there would be no need to hide their identity or seek the conversion of Hindu girls to Islam.

Returning to the case, witness testimonies, especially from hotel staff who observed that the victim was always in a distressed state, corroborated her account of the ordeal. It was clear from the testimonies that the victim had been forced to visit hotel rooms with the accused on several occasions. The court also carefully examined the timeline of events presented by the victim and found physical evidence that further supported her claims.

The argument presented by critics, that Alim should have been acquitted due to a lack of direct photographic evidence, missed the point that rape and coercion cases often rely heavily on witness testimony and circumstantial evidence. If photographic evidence was mandatory for convictions in crimes against woman, most rape and molestation cases would go unpunished. AILAJ’s insistence that the judgment reflected a communal bias rather than a quest for justice for the victim was both misleading and irresponsible on the organisation’s part.

Legal framework: Addressing coercion and conversion

One of the strongest aspects of the judgment in Alim’s case is that the court recognised the broader societal implications of love jihad. The judge rightfully pointed out that incidents like Alim’s case disturbingly resemble the forced conversions that have been happening in Pakistan and Bangladesh, where religious conversions of Hindu girls have become a serious problem. The court bluntly warned that if such cases are not properly addressed in India, there may be a breakdown of secular values and social harmony.

AILAJ asserted that this judgment “throws fundamental principles of criminal jurisprudence to the wind”, which is flawed. The organisation criticised the court, claiming it disregarded the complainant’s retraction of her statement. However, the reality in such cases is that victims often face pressure or coercion to retract their statements due to external influences, which the court, in fact, rightly recognised. The court pointed out that the victim stopped appearing in court due to pressure from the accused’s side.

In fact, the Supreme Court of India, in many judgments including C. Muniappan & Ors vs State Of Tamil Nadu, stated, “It is settled legal proposition that the evidence of a prosecution witness cannot be rejected in toto merely because the prosecution chose to treat him as hostile and cross examine him. The evidence of such witnesses cannot be treated as effaced or washed off the record altogether but the same can be accepted to the extent that their version is found to be dependable on a careful scrutiny thereof.”

In May 2024, the apex court said in a judgment, “No doubt that the prosecutrix and her mother and aunt in their cross-examination, which was recorded three and a half months after the recording of the examination-in-chief, have turned around and not supported the prosecution case,” however, when the evidence of the victim, as well as other witnesses, was tested against the FIR, the statement recorded under Section 164 CrPC, and other evidence, there was sufficient corroboration to the version given by the woman in her examination-in-chief. In both cases, among many others, even after the witnesses or the victim turned hostile, the court used its discretion to punish the accused in accordance with the law.

AILAJ claimed that the judgment promoted a communal agenda, yet it failed to acknowledge that the legal foundation of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2021, is designed for cases like this, where Hindu women are lured into relationships and marriages based on false identities. This law was enacted precisely to address the kind of exploitation seen in this case, and the court correctly noted that Alim’s actions should have invoked this Act. The failure to apply this law in this case is an oversight that must be corrected in future cases, not an excuse to dismiss the reality of love jihad.

Foreign funding and larger conspiracies: An ignored reality

The critics dismissed the judge’s concern about the possibility of foreign funding in such cases, claiming it was mere speculation. They labelled it part of a larger right-wing narrative. However, their refusal to even entertain the possibility is intellectually dishonest. The systematic targeting of women from vulnerable sections of society, especially non-Muslims, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBCs, clearly suggests that there is an organised network, potentially involving foreign funding. The court pointed out that such activities could not be random but are part of a broader effort to destabilise India’s secular and social fabric.

Instead of raising alarms over these possibilities, AILAJ, a group of advocates, continued to adhere to its ideological stance that ‘love jihad is fiction’. However, the facts and testimonies in this case, as well as in similar cases across India, paint a very different picture.

Societal implications: A crime against national unity

The critics have argued that the punishment given to Alim in this case was too severe. They, however, overlooked the societal damage such incidents cause. Love jihad is not merely about personal wrongdoing. It represents a larger attack on the unity and secularism of the country. By luring women into relationships under false pretences and pressuring them to convert, offenders are fuelling religious divisions and eroding the country’s secular foundation.

The court was absolutely correct in its stern observation that love jihad posed a serious threat to social harmony, stating, “The systematic targeting of women under the guise of love to fulfil larger demographic and religious goals is not only a crime against the individual but against the nation’s unity.”

Recent 10 cases of love jihad reported by OpIndia

It was there that this Amjad met the victim for the first time and told her his name was Ajay. Amjad shared his mobile number with the victim and slowly trapped her in his web of love.

It is evident that 10 cases were reported in less than a month and there could be hundreds of others running in the background.

About AILAJ

All India Lawyers Association for Justice or AILAJ introduces itself with the typical jargon used by the left-liberal Islamist ecosystem, in the About page section of its website. It is only at the end of the section that it says “AILAJ is also concerned with the welfare of lawyers and law students.”

has made to headlines for opposing everything that is Hindu. The group has openly sympathised with Islamists like PFI and Maoists like Stan Swamy. In August 2023, they wrote to the Karnataka Bar Council seeking the cancellation of a talk by Supreme Court lawyer J Sai Deepak on the Uniform Civil Code. The letter by the AILAJ dated 26th August reads, “We are shocked to learn that the Karnataka State Bar Council is organising a talk titled, Uniform Civil Code: Pros and Cons with Advocate Sai Deepak slated to speak as the main speaker. The main speaker proposed for the event is known to be a staunch supporter of India being turned into a Hindu Rashtra, a proposition that runs afoul of our constitutional democracy.” The letter has been signed by about 30 lawyers.

The All India Lawyers Association for Justice has openly sympathised with the anti-Hindu Stan Swamy, a declared Maoist and PFI apologist who was charged with conspiring to instigate caste violence in Bhima Koregaon violence on 1st January 2018.

An article on Stan Swamy by AILAJ concludes by saying, “AILAJ pays tribute to Fr Stan Swamy by reiterating its resolve to fight for the repeal of UAPA and all draconian laws, and for the release of all human rights advocates and activists targeted and jailed by the present majoritarian Union government.”

The lawyer’s group has objected to the ban on Hijab inside school premises in Karnataka. In March last year, it had written to the Karnataka High Court asking it to revert the order upholding the then BJP government’s decision to ban the religious veil inside schools.

The group of lawyers, legal professionals and law students has also frequently raised its voice against Hindu activists and organisations, demanding action for talking against Islamist Jihadi terrorists.

The group has also made its support for the now-banned Islamic group PFI clear. During the raids on PFI before it was banned, AILAJ had claimed that it was a case of weaponising investigative agencies. The group had said that the raids were a conscious attempt to spread Islamophobia among the public and demonise Muslims as a community, and there was no evidence against PFI.

It had said, “We also believe this is a conscious attempt to spread Islamophobia among the public and demonise Muslims as a community, which is already reeling under an all-out attack by the RSS-BJP, using the state apparatus as state-sponsored mob violence,”

The group has called the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabhaan act of political vendetta, which was done following a court order and as per the Supreme Court’s order. The group keeps writing to the Supreme Court alleging ethnic cleansing of Muslims in various parts of the country.

Conclusion: Addressing the real threat of love jihad

It is high time that organisations, so-called intellectuals, and media houses stop dismissing love jihad as a conspiracy theory. The case of Alim proves that this menace is real, and it has been growing at an uncontrolled pace. Deceptive practices used to lure vulnerable women into religious conversions through marriage cannot be brushed aside as political or communal rhetoric. It is essential to view the court’s verdict as a step towards safeguarding the nation’s secularism and protecting individuals from exploitation in the name of religion.

Organisations like AILAJ and platforms like Scroll, instead of dismissing these incidents as politically driven, should focus on the facts. Governments, law enforcement agencies, and the judiciary must work together to ensure that laws like the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act are effectively implemented in such cases.

The critics’ arguments, based on ideology rather than evidence, do a disservice to the victims of love jihad and undermine the judicial process. Instead, they must recognise the growing threat posed by such cases and work towards ensuring that those who exploit vulnerable individuals are brought to justice, without allowing political bias to cloud the facts.

Fake Al Jazeera columnist Wajid Khan, who wanted Ali’s sword to deal with Yati Narsinghanand and celebrated anniversary of Hamas terrorist attack, detained by Ajmer Police

Days after OpIndia reported about Wajid Khan, a self-proclaimed columnist at Qatar-funded Islamist propaganda outlet Al Jazeera, celebrating the first anniversary of Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, he has been detained by Ajmer Police. Wajid Khan’s X posts celebrating the brutal attacks on Jews of Israel by the Palestinian terror group Hamas, went viral online sparking an outrage.

Taking to X, Ajmer Police informed that Wajid Khan has been detained adding that further action is being taken in the matter. “The said youth has been detained and further action is being taken,” Ajmer Police said in response to a post highlighting Khan’s Islamist and terror-sympathising views.

Notably, in his X bio, Wajid Khan had claimed to be a columnist at Al Jazeera and also pretended to be residing in the US. However, it has emerged that Wajid Khan is neither a columnist at Al Jazeera nor does he resides in the US. In fact, Wajid Khan is a resident of Ajmer, Rajasthan. It is being said that Wajid Khan started to pretend on social media that he resides in the US after the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in Rajasthan.

As per the picture posted on Wajid Khan’s now-deactivated Instagram profile, he either works at or used to work at Shriram Fortune, a financial services company.

As reported earlier, Wajid Khan posted a picture of an armed terrorist holding an Israeli soldier on top of a tank and referred to it as an “iconic picture,” from 7th October Hamas terror attack, and he added a victory emoticon. He also asserted that the day is no less than a festival which commemorates Israel’s overwhelming loss to Palestine. Khan also hailed Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar who orchestrated the heinous terrorist operation as the “Lion of Gaza.”

Besides being an Israel hater and Islamic terror supporter, Wajid Khan is also notorious for his anti-Hindu statements. He detests Hindus standing with Israel against the terrorism perpetrated by his religious brethren. Notably, he was one of the most vocal voices demanding action against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati over alleged blasphemy.

“Yesterday Ati (mocking his name) Narsinghanand had insulted the Prophet but no arrests were made. And now the disciples of that cursed person are also demeaning the Prophet and Hazrat Ali. There is only one cure for them and that is Hazrat Ali’s Zulfikar,” one of Khan’s posts read.

ISIS terrorist plotting attack on US Election Day was CIA security guard in Afghanistan, had escaped to USA after Taliban took over Afghanistan

On Monday, 7th October, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) apprehended an Afghan man who was working for the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization and was planning a terrorist attack on election day to target big crowds in the United States. The FBI officers have learned that the accused, identified as Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, worked as a security guard in Afghanistan for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, of Oklahoma City, confessed to the investigators after his arrest that he planned to carry out the attack on Election Day in November and that he, and a co-conspirator, anticipated dying as ‘martyrs’.

The officers charged the accused with attempting to kill Americans with an assault rifle on behalf of ISIS. Court filings stated that he donated to an ISIS charity in March and viewed online ISIS propaganda, but they could not specify whether he became radicalized before or after moving to the United States in 2021. According to a senior law enforcement official, the FBI is still examining that angle. The CIA, meanwhile, has not stated anything on the issue.

According to a US official, Tawhedi, like other Afghans resettled in the US, would have undergone rigorous security screening in other countries before landing in the United States. According to court documents, Tawhedi entered the country in September 2021, roughly a month after the US troops ended their pullout from Afghanistan following two decades of war.

“Every Afghan resettled in the US undergoes a rigorous screening and vetting process no matter which agency they worked with. That process includes checking against a full range of US records and holdings,” one of the officials was quoted as saying.

The Department of Homeland Security, which leads the vetting, also declined to comment on the case, saying in a statement that “Afghan evacuees who sought to enter the United States were subject to multi-layered screening and vetting against intelligence, law enforcement, and counterterrorism information. If new information emerges after arrival, appropriate action is taken.”

Oklahoma Attorney General, however, commented on the matter and said that the radical Islamic terrorist was imported directly to the United States by the Biden-Harris Administration as part of their controversial refugee resettlement program. “It is clear they failed to properly vet all refugees, which poses a significant threat to national security. Tawhedi is one of many thousands sent to America after the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan,” he said.

“While it is indisputable that many Afghan refugees are law-abiding and deserve our gratitude for helping U.S. forces as we fought the Taliban, we face the unsettling prospect that Tawhedi is not the only terrorist brought here by own government,” he added.

The arrest comes as the FBI faces increasing challenge of the likelihood of extremist violence on US territory. FBI Director Christopher Wray previously stated that he could not recall a moment in his tenure when so many different types of threats were escalated simultaneously.

“Terrorism is still the FBI’s number one priority, and we will use every resource to protect the American people,” Wray said in a statement on Tuesday.

An FBI document does not specify how Tawhedi got to investigators’ attention, but it does include evidence from recent months demonstrating his determination to plan an attack. The affidavit includes his image from July reading to two young children, including his daughter, a text that describes the rewards a ‘martyr’ receives in the afterlife.

Bihar: Arshad Alam was grooming minors, after developing sexual relationship with one minor, he was going to do Nikah, arrested after NCPCR action

On Thursday (10th October), National Commission for Protection Of Child Rights (NCPCR) chairperson Priyank Kanoongo took to X (formerly Twitter) to inform about the action taken in a case of exploitation of six girls at an ‘orchestra’ run by one Arshad Alam in Bihar. Kanoongo said that on the direction of NCPCR, Siwan Police conducted raids at the location and rescued the girls.

The action in the matter came after an NGO named Mission Mukti Foundation complained to NCPCR about the exploitation of girls including minors.

Taking to X, the NCPCR chairperson said: “Arshad Alam runs an orchestra in Bihar where Mission Mukti Foundation had complained about the exploitation of minor girls. Following the instructions of @NCPCR_, Siwan police conducted a raid early this morning and rescued 6 girls.”

Kanoongo also shared a video statement of accused Arshad Alam, who how he groomed and exploited a minor girl in the name of ‘love’. The Gopalganj resident said that he lured a Durgapur resident minor girl and said that he did ‘love marriage’ with her and would now go and do Nikah with her.

“Listen to Arshad’s statement, grooming and exploiting a minor girl in the name of “love” is their way of committing crime. The video has been posted for the purpose of public awareness so that society can wake up and daughters can be saved,” the NCPCR chairperson said.

It is pertinent to note that it seems from his testimony that Arshad Alam was grooming children. He used to trap minors and claim to have a “love marriage” with them. He claims that after the “love marriage”, he would have taken the minor to his parents for “Nikah”. It would appear that what Arshad calls “love marriage” is essentially the establishment of a sexual relationship with the minor. Essentially, after luring and building a sexual relationship with the minor, he would abduct them to do “nikah” with them. This would also entail conversion to Islam if the minor was a non-Muslim and therefore, it would add an additional layer of a hate crime to the case.

The Govindpur Police (Bengaluru) on Wednesday, 9th October arrested one Bilal Rafiq, a Kerala native who disguised as a Navy officer and manipulated a Hindu woman from Chhattisgarh, establishing a sexual relationship with her. The accused befriended the woman promising marriage and then forced her to convert to Islam.

The case came to the fore after the victim woman who hails from Chhattisgarh filed a complaint at the Govindpur Police Station. The woman said that the two started talking on Instagram in 2021. The accused as per the woman pretended to be a high-ranking commander in the Merchant Navy which helped him win her trust and affection. Their connection grew swiftly, and under his encouragement, the woman relocated to Bangalore to pursue work. In 2022, she got a position as a nurse at a private hospital.

However, the relationship quickly took a negative turn as Bilal began pressuring the woman into several sexual encounters, resulting in two pregnancies. He repeatedly pressed her to get rid of the pregnancies employing multiple arguments. As per the reports, the most common argument that the accused used to manipulate the victim woman was that it was not good for them to have kids before marriage. Despite her reservations, the woman cooperated with his demands.

Recently, the woman became pregnant for the third time. This time, she refused to abort the pregnancy and pushed Bilal to marry her. While Bilal initially agreed, he later began forcing the woman to convert her religion to Islam. When she refused, he postponed the wedding proposal even further. According to her complaint, Bilal further continued to exploit her trust by demanding Rs 1 lakh and an expensive phone, stating they were for the wedding preparations.

The woman also stated that the parents of the accused amid the marriage preparations hurled caste-based abuses at her and her family. She was also threatened to convert her religion to Islam.

Unwilling to convert, the woman asked to get married under the Special Marriage Act, which permits interfaith marriages without conversion. However, when Bilal refused to marry her unless she converted, she filed a complaint with the Govindpura Police.

The Police have detained the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for cheating and sexual assault and under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention and Atrocities) Act.

Muslim youth attacked in Ghaziabad by Hindus for opposing insult of Prophet Mohammad? No. He was beaten for luring and raping a Hindu girl: Details

On Wednesday (9th October), a video showing several men beating up a youth went viral on social media with the claims that a Muslim youth was attacked for opposing the attackers from abusing Prophet Muhammad. The video in question is from the Hapur district in Uttar Pradesh.

Sharing the video on social media, several Muslim users claimed that the Muslim youth was beaten up by Hindu ‘extremists’ for opposing their abusive remarks against Prophet Muhammad.

Journalist Swati Goel Sharma also shared screenshots of how the video had gone viral with claims that a Muslim youth was beaten up by a mob of “Hindutva extremists”.

It appears that one of the first handles to make the video viral with claims of a Muslim youth being beaten by “Hindutva extremists” for opposing an “insult to Prophet Mohammad” was a handle called “Muslim Mirror” which claims to be a news portal.

It was also claimed that the Muslim youth was with his sister and both were assaulted.

Thereafter, several Muslim “journalists” too picked up the story and spread the false information. Wasim Akram Tyagi, who has been recently booked for spreading fake news about a Muslim man being lynched by Hindus, also shared the video.

It was then picked up by several other X users. In this vein, an X user Muhammad Afzal claimed that the said video is from Ghaziabad and wrote, “Muslim girl being brutally beaten by Hindu extremists. Earlier Muslim boys used to be beaten up, now the matter has reached to girls. They are being beaten because they protested against the insult to Prophet Muhammad.”

One Mehdi Hasan who claims to be an officer bearer in AIMIM said: “They are being attacked because they opposed the insult done to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)!! Shameful. We demand that strict legal action be taken against these brutal attackers.”

Another AIMIM supporter Sharik Qureshi shared the viral video and said: “Who filled them with so much hatred? A brother and sister riding a motorcycle are attacked and beaten by 8-10 Hindutva goons. Even the innocent girl is attacked. They were assaulted because they opposed the insult done to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)!! Shameful. We demand that we should do the same in return for these attacking beasts. We will beat them and then they will come to their senses.”

One Ashraf Ali said: “Hindu extremists are brutally beating up Muslim girls. Earlier, Muslim boys were beaten up, now the issue has reached girls. They are being beaten because they protested against the insult to Prophet Muhammad Ghaziabad.”

Was a Muslim youth attacked by Hindu ‘extremists’ for opposing insult to Prophet Muhammad?

While most social media posts claimed that the video in question was from Ghaziabad, the incident unfolded on 28th September, in the Dhaulana police station precinct of Hapur district.

Moreover, several social media users, mostly Muslims, claimed that the ‘Hindu extremists’ attacked the Muslim youth because he opposed their alleged derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad.

However, it has been reported that the Muslim youth identified as Akram had allegedly lured a Hindu girl to a hotel room and raped her. Upon learning about this, the girl’s brothers caught hold of Akram who was going with the girl on his bike and thrashed him. Thus, the claims of purported insult to Prophet Muhammad are false.

Further, the woman the Muslim youth was with, who was claimed to be his “sister”, was in fact the Hindu girl who the Muslim youth had allegedly lured and raped.

In a statement, Hapur’s Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vineet Jaiswal informed that the Hindu girl later filed a complaint against Akram accusing him of luring her into his trap and sexually assaulting her. The police have registered an FIR against Akram, based on the victim’s complaint. Subsequently, the police arrested the Muslim accused and jailed him.

The Hapur ASP further informed that the police are registering FIR against social media users who falsely linked this incident with an imaginary insult to Prophet Muhammad to disrupt communal harmony. The Hapur Police asked social media users not to post misleading posts on social media platforms without verification and not to spoil the atmosphere by spreading misleading news and giving it a communal colour.
