Hindu temple attack

The thwarted mass shooting by a 19-year-old self-described sociopathic white supremacist Neo Nazi, against a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois, US, has reignited concerns about how how White supremacism and Indian leftist hate speech is putting Hindus and their temples under threat in the US.

Reports say that along with vandalising the idols of Hindu deities installed inside the temple, the Muslim culprits also damaged the temple's donation box.

The State of West Bengal has descended into complete chaos in recent times, with the breakdown of law and order and targeted attacks on the Hindu community.

BJP national spokesperson shared a video wherein idols of Hindu deities could be seen in a vandalised state.

"The detained person is an outsider and has mental health issues," the Baruipur police claimed.

"The idol is being replaced and the person responsible for the mischief has been arrested. Preliminary enquiry suggests that the person has mental health issues," Basirhat Police claimed.

In a tweet, Dilip Ghosh said, "In a shocking incident, the idol of Goddess Kali was vandalized at the Kali temple in Shankhchura Bazaar, under the jurisdiction of the Basirhat Police Station."
