Bilaspur man Aqib Javed arrested for assaulting his Hindu girlfriend for refusing to convert, rape and forced abortion

Bokaro superintendent of police Chandan Kumar Jha confirmed Mallick's arrest by Bengal police, saying, "The rape accused, Mallick, was caught by Purulia police. We will soon take custody of Mallick to interrogate him.

Qureshi threatened the girl saying that as soon as she turned 18, he would convert her to Islam. A complaint has been filed under sections 354 (K), 352, 504, and 506 and against religious conversion under sections 3 and 4.

According to Circle Officer Abhay Kumar Pandey, Faizan is currently being held in judicial custody on charges of facilitating suicide. He stated that more inquiry may involve questioning Deepak as well. The officer also asserted that the claims of a "bhagwa love trap" in this case are absurd.

A case has been registered against both of them under sections 354 and 3/5 of the Uttarakhand Religious Freedom Act 2018. An additional section has been invoked on the son for molestation.

The original identity of the accused was exposed after the duo decided to marry each other in March this year. The woman said that while signing the marriage documents, 'Shailendra' wrote his name as Jameel.
