35-year-old Malkit Singh, a resident of Jahangir village of Kambo police station area in Amritsar, Punjab was brutally beaten to death by his neighbour Nihang Sukhdev Singh on Wednesday.
The case came to light while West Bengal is witnessing protests over the brutal murder of a junior doctor in a state-run hospital in Kolkata on August 12. The Kolkata Police arrested one man in the case.
