Shifting the car shed site from Aarey will not be viable, Uddhav Thackeray appointed committee recommends Maharashtra govt to lift ban on construction

A committee set up by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in December has recommended lifting the stay on construction of the Mumbai Metro Line 3 car shed at Aarey Milk Colony.

Reportedly, the committee has said that shifting the car shed site from Aarey would not be viable. The committee has cited issues such as increased costs, logistical issues and delays in the completion to rule out the option of shifting the project to another location.

The high-level committee has also recommended that the state government should notify the unbuilt green areas inside the colony as a no-construction belt, preserving it like a protected forest.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray some weeks ago had appointed a high-level committee to look at possible alternative sites for building a car shed on the 33.5 km long Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Mumbai metro line.

The four-man committee was set up on December 11 headed by the Additional Finance Secretary of Maharashtra. The other members were Principal Secretary (Environment) Anil Diggikar, Managing Director (Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation) RS Khurana and Chief Conservator of Forest (Sanjay Gandhi National Park) Anwar Ahmed.

The committee had also considered two alternative locations to build the metro car shed. One was a marsh at Kanjurmarg where the Line 6 (Jogeshwari-Kanjurmag) car shed was being built. The second site that was looked at was a State Reserve Police camp just outside Aarey at Jogeshwari. However, both were found to be not feasible.

The panel after conducting site visits ruled that the shifting of the car shed would involve logistical and legal challenges, bringing further delays in the commissioning of the Metro corridor. The Metro 3 service was originally proposed to be operational from December 2020, it has already been pushed back by a year.

The committee also argued that shifting the car shed at this stage would lead to a further delay in the project’s commissioning and cause cost escalations. In 2015, the project was worth Rs 23,000 crore with the MMRCL, which was supposed to be funded by off-budget borrowings. As per MMRCL, delay of each day in the project’s commissioning increases the cost by Rs 4.2 crore.

The Metro car shed project at Aarey has been a battleground between environmentalists, who are allegedly backed by vested interests and the Mumbai Metro Rail authorities, ever since the plans were first drawn up in 2015. The previous government led by Devendra Fadanvis in an overnight operation on October 4, 2019, had ordered to fell 2,141 trees at the proposed 33-hectare site, following a Bombay High Court verdict.

However, the Shiv Sena, then a partner in a BJP-led state government, had actively backed the so-called environmentalist and had lent a political voice to those protesting the felling of the trees. Sena prince Aaditya Thackeray, now the state environment minister, had opposed the Aarey project, claiming that the project would damage flora and fauna in the Aarey Milk colony.

Soon after returning to power, Shiv Sena by joining hands with NCP and Congress allegedly indulged in vendetta politics and cancelled most of the projects that were earlier initiated by the previous Devendra Fadanvis government. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had also ordered a halt on the Metro Car Shed construction at Aarey.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi blocked funds and halted major infrastructure and development projects undertaken by the previous government to further narrow political goals.

Ace badminton player and Padma Bhushan recipient Saina Nehwal and her elder sister join BJP

Ace Indian professional badminton player and Padma Bhushan recipient, Saina Nehwal, joins BJP today at the BJP Headquarter, New Delhi in the presence of Party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh. This big development comes amid the party’s announcement on Tuesday of an important personality joining them.

The former Olympic medalist’s elder sister Chandranshu also joined BJP.

Born in Haryana, the 29-year-old is one India’s most successful athletes, with both Olympics and Commonwealth Games medals under her belt.

In 2015, Saina Nehwal became the first Indian woman shuttler to achieve the World No. 1 ranking, becoming the second Indian player after Prakash Padukone to bag this honour. Moreover, she won the Bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics. The Badminton player has won over 24 international titles that include 11 Superseries titles. She is currently ranked ninth.

Nehwal has been very vocal about her support to PM Narendra Modi which has often irked the so-called ‘secular-liberals’. Last year in December, she tweeted in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NRC speech, the usual trolls masquerading as ‘liberals’ descended upon her timeline to call her a BJP IT cell member. Prior to this, she had also extended support to Modi’s Bharat Ki Laxmi campaign which had also invited criticism on Twitter.

Nehwal has also publicly endorsed support to the Citizenship Amendment Act. Last year, wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and cricketer Gautam Gambhir, too, joined the BJP.

Roger Federer’s triumph against Tennys Sandgren: A life lesson

Before I begin, I am taking the liberty of slightly misquoting Stephen King’s famous lines from Shawshank’s Redemption, Sports is a good thing. Maybe the best of the things. And every good thing is worth emulating.

Sports shows us what it takes to achieve the impossible through skill, dedication and valour. And the exhibition of this near-perfect superhuman skills takes a lot of grit, determination, blood, sweat and Adrenalin.

Roger Federer, the greatest of all time, pulled off a near-impossible win against American Tennys Sandgren on Wednesday for a place in Australian Open semifinals.

To give you a background, 38 years old Federer came into the quarter-final match having played a gut-wrenching 5 setter with Australian John Millman which ended in a super tiebreaker. He has admitted to having difficulty in getting up from bed in the morning after the match. The sore was so painful that he literally had to kick himself out of the bed.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pqz4jxR2bU]

The old man then went out the day after to play his 4th round against Hungarian Fuscovics which he won in 4 sets.

Having won 2 marathon matches, Roger was facing Sandgren on Wednesday for a place in semifinal. As the match began, he won the 1st set comfortably. However, there were signs that he wasn’t moving enough. One senses it right away if Federer is not moving into baseline after a strong return.

The trouble started showing in the 2nd set. Something was wrong with his legs and his movement was restricted. Federer who generally serves in 180-190 KMPH range was now serving at 140-ish. And the result showed. He lost the set 6-2 and the match was tied at 1 set all.

Undeterred, the old man continued. But it wasn’t getting any better. He was immediately broken in 3rd set and was trailing 3-0 in 3rd. That’s when Roger decided to take a Medical timeout. The treatments, however, takes time to kick in. This was enough for Sandgren to take advantage of a semi-mobile Federer. He soon bolstered his lead to 2 games to 1 winning the 3rd set 6-2.

People on Twitter started writing obituaries. Federer carried on. Played regulation Tennis in the 4th set. Didn’t pull out any punches, not that he could with his injured body. He was still not moving well but his serves improved. There was no way he could break Sandgren but he gave it all to hold his own serve. It paid off and the set went into a tie-breaker. Again, Federer was first broken in the tiebreaker and was soon facing triple match points. He saved them all to face another couple of match points again. He kept fighting for each point and results showed. Federer somehow saved 7 match points, won the tiebreaker and lived to play the next set.

The start of the 5th set saw a different Federer, the classic one, the one we are used to seeing for the last 17 years. He was moving, he was attacking and he was serving well. And it showed. He broke Sandgren in 4th game, held his serves; eventually won the set and the match at 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6 (8)-7 (10), 3-6.

To defend 7 match points and come back when you are literally limping for half of the match is incredible, historical, legendary, in fact demigodly. However, there lies a greater life lesson beyond a mere Tennis match and a quarter-final win.

In his post-match interview, Federer admitted of having back pain and suddenly having pain in his groin too, which grew with each passing minute to a point where he could not move his left leg anymore.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODfsKabCScE]

He wasn’t moving, had a medical condition, was trailing 2 sets and had a tired body. He had virtually no hope of winning as per his own admission. Everything was stacked against him. But he came out of the medical timeout hoping for a miracle as he puts it jokingly. Maybe it would rain, maybe something. But even if none of this happens, he came to let Sandgren win it and see him off in style.

Herein lies the lesson. He came out of medical timeout not to win the match but to hang on there and keep doing what he does best. Play Tennis. Losing is perfectly fine. But giving up isn’t an option. Keep going, keep giving your best, whatever your best happens to be, keep fighting. Just keep at it. The result may come, it may not. But it should not matter.

Federer turns 39 in 6 months. A baby born last time an American (Andre Agassi in 2001 US Open) defeated Federer in a slam is eligible to vote today. When Federer came to slams, he used to tie a ponytail. Today, Federer has lost hairs from his forehead, married his girlfriend and is a father to 4 kids. USA has seen 4 presidents, India has seen 5 general elections. The world has changed at an unbelievable pace, so has Federer’s game. But what has remained constant all these years is, he still goes out and plays irrespective of results.

In his prime, Federer was superman. He was undefeatable. Today he struggles. Fights his battles. Loses some, wins some. It’s a human thing after all. May be his way to tell us, he too is a human being. But he keeps at it.

To quote Thomas Bowden, “The essential value of spectator sports lies in their capacity to illustrate, in a dramatic way, the process of human goal-achievement. They do this by making the process shorter, simpler, and more visually exciting than it is in daily life, and by giving us heroes to admire.”

Sports demonstrates human achievement in a crisp and powerful way with required drama and Adrenalin like no other. Of course, there are inspiring stories all around us. Amitabh Bachhan was rejected by All India Radio before he went to become the greatest ever cinema star. Dhirubhai Ambani failed at so many businesses before being the richest Indian. Federer’s match against Tennys Sandgren presents the same grit, valour, determination and never-say-die spirit in a 3.5 hours package packed with Adrenalin.

On Thursday, when Federer takes on world no 2 and a very much in-form Novak Djokovic for 50th time he has everything stacked against him. His back is gone, his groin is gone, he has played 3 marathon matches, the court is slow, he isn’t serving well and Djokovic is in supreme form. Yet, whether you are a sports fan or not, tune into the match as the legend steps on Rod Laver Arena under lights, in his true indomitable spirit, to fight, to live for another day. Savour Federer’s playing moments because these are life lessons. Don’t long for a Federer win. Enjoy his game, savour him, relish him, as long as the legend is playing.

Woman alleges ‘comedians’ Kunal Kamra and Utsav Chakraborty used to make fake Twitter accounts to harass women comedians

In a blog which has gone viral on social media, a woman by the name Anubha Sinha has alleged that ‘comedians’ Kunal Kamra and #MeToo accused Utsav Chakraborty used to make fake Twitter IDs to harass other fellow women comedians. In a blog titled “When Kunal Kamra was unheard of, fat, unfunny and would harass female stand up comics by making fake twitter accounts” Sinha says that she overheard Kamra say that Chakraborty and himself would make fake accounts on Twitter to harass female standup comedians.

Sinha talks about an incident from 2016 when she was in Mumbai where she spotted Kamra for the first time. She says that when she was in the green room getting ready for the set, she was pretending to listen to music to avoid interaction when she overheard Kamra talk about his weight loss journey.

“Kunal Kamra started talking about this weight loss process and how he would make fake twitter account to harass female stand up comics to the other 2 male stand up comics. He explicitly mentioned how he and Utsav Chakraborty would make fake twitter accounts and harass female stand up comics regularly, many times even of ones they were performing with. He joked how he had mocked a gay female stand up comic about her sexuality,” Sinha says in her post.

When #MeToo allegations surfaced against Chakraborty in October 2018, Kamra had admitted that he knew about Chakraborty’s harassment incidents and claimed that he had even confronted him.

Sinha further says that she did not write about it earlier but after Kamra heckled Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami on an Indigo flight on Tuesday, she decided to write about it.

Kamra displayed his deranged behaviour on a Mumbai-Lucknow Indigo flight on Tuesday when he heckled Goswami and posted the video online. Following his behaviour, which could pose a security threat, he has been put on a No Fly List for six months by Indigo while Air India and SpiceJet, too, have suspended him from flying with them.

Prashant Kishor vs Nitish Kumar: PK calls JDU chief a liar over Amit Shah comment, JDU leader calls Kishor ‘coronavirus’

Hours after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar claimed that his party vice-president Prashant Kishor was inducted into the Janata Dal (United) at BJP leader Amit Shah’s direction, Prashant Kishor dismissed JDU supremo Nitish Kumar’s statement as “a lie”.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday evening, Prashant Kishor targetted the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar claiming that the latter was lying about how he was made to join the party.

“Nitish Kumar what a fall for you to lie about how and why you made me join JDU!! Poor attempt on your part to try and make my colour same as yours!” tweeted JDU vice-president Prashant Kishor.

Kishor said that even if the JD(U) chief was telling the truth, no one would believe that he has the courage not to listen to someone “recommended” by Amit Shah.

Prashant Kishor’s meltdown comes hours after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had made a sensational revelation that Prashant Kishor was inducted into the JD(U) on the recommendations of Amit Shah.

After a meeting with party leaders and lawmakers this afternoon, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday blasted at Prashant Kishor and had asserted that it was only because of Amit Shah’s suggestion that Kishor was inducted in JDU.

Without taking the name of Prashant Kishor, the JDU supremo had lambasted Kishor stating, “Someone wrote a letter I replied to it, someone is tweeting, let him tweet. What do I’ve to do with it? One can stay in the party (JD-U) till he wants, he can go if he wants…Do you know how did he join the party? Amit Shah asked me to induct him.”

Now, another JDU leader has compared Prashant Kishore to the coronavirus. Speaking to media, JDU’s Ajay Alok stated that Kishor is not trustworthy as he “talks to Rahul Gandhi, works for AAP and sits with Mamata Banerjee”. He added that they (JDU) are happy because the “coronavirus” is leaving them.

The rift within the Janata Dal-United surfaced after the party, an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, had voted in favour of the Citizenship Amendment Act in Parliament last month. The election strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor, who is also the vice-president of the party had opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act claiming that act is unconstitutional. Kishor has been consistently attacking the Modi government, especially after the historic CAA was passed in the parliament

Along with party senior leader Pavan Varma, Kishor had openly targetted the Modi government over the CAA and had publicly urged Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar to reconsider the decision to support the CAA keeping in mind the public sentiments.

Kishor, who is working with the Aam Aadmi Party ahead of the Delhi elections, had also targetted Amit Shah for his remarks against the ongoing Shaheen Bagh protest.

In response to Amit Shah speech that Delhi should vote for BJP in such huge numbers that all Shaheen Bagh-like protests are given a strong message, Prashant Kishor had taken a dig at the Home Minister by tweeting that button will be pressed with love so that the social harmony is not disturbed.

Unhappy over the comments made by Prashant Kishor and Pavan Verma over the issue of party’s support to CAA, the JDU had also sent notices to both leaders for opposing party’s decision to support the act.

Pistol brandished at Shaheen Bagh belonged to local property dealer Mohammad Luqman, report claims AAP link while ‘liberals’ blame BJP

On Tuesday evening, a gun-wielding man had entered Shaheen Bagh ‘protest’ site in New Delhi and had threatened the ‘protestors’, reportedly demanding them to vacate the area. The protestors had claimed that the men had allegedly warned them to “clear the road or people will die”.

As soon as the video went viral on social media, the ‘liberal-secular’ media was quick to jump to blame BJP for the incident. The so-called media personalities accused BJP of creating a frenzied situation across the country over the issue, which according to them resulted in the dangerous incident that occurred at Shaheen Bagh on Tuesday.

The ‘journalists’ pointed their fingers at MoS Finance Anurag Thakur and held him for responsible for the incident after a person brandished his gun at the Shaheen Bagh protests. The media ecosystem was pinning the blame on the minister after he was allegedly seen asking people to shoot down the traitors who betray the country.

According to the media ecosystem, the incident at Shaheen Bagh had occurred after MoS Finance had provoked the crowd in Delhi during the rally. The Lutyens media indirectly hinted that the person who threatened protestors at the Shaheen Bagh protest site was inspired by Minister’s words while insinuating that the accused was somehow related to the BJP.

Controversial journalist Sreenivasan Jain of NDTV claimed that the incident happened a day after the minister led chants of ‘goli maaro saalon ko’.

Soon, trolls followed their leaders as they not only blamed the BJP, but also Arnab Goswami for the incident.

However, with a police investigation underway, reports soon emerged saying that the pistol has been seized and it is registered in the name of one Mohammad Luqman, a property dealer based in the same area.

A report by Times Now claims that the man who brandished the gun is linked to AAP. The report says that a delegation of local leaders and AAP councillors had reportedly visited the area and Luqman, who carried a gun, was a part of the delegation. During an argument with protestors over road blockage, the gun was snatched by one person and was brandished to threaten the people gathered. The AAP, reportedly, has denied any link with the incident.

Shaheen Bagh protests, which were initially passed off as an organic protest in a bid to ‘save the constitution’ began to turn into a blatantly communal event. It was earlier reported that the Muslim mobs had shouted pro-Pakistan and Hinduphobic slogans like “Jinnah Wali Azadi”, demanding another partition of the country.

The expose of videos of Sharjeel Imam, the chief co-ordinator of Shaheen Bagh protests, in which he calls for secessionist agenda and urges Muslims to cut North-east from the rest of the country had further exposed the real intentions behind the anti-CAA protests.

“If 5 lakhs Muslims are organised then we can cut the North-east from rest of India. If we cannot do permanently, at least we can cut North-east from India for months. Our responsibility is to cut the Assam from India then Govt will hear our voice. If we have to help the Assam then we will have to cut the Assam from rest of India,” said Sharjeel Imam while instigating Muslims in Shaheen Bagh.

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri exposes how Kunal Kamra binned an interview because his and Congress’ lies on Rohith Vemula got exposed

Yesterday, propagandist and un-funny comedian Kunal Kamra took Twitter by storm after trying to make a virtue out of heckling and abusing senior journalist Arnab Goswami on a flight to Lucknow, saying that he was doing it for ‘Rohith Vemula’s mother’. What was followed was Indigo putting him on the no-fly list for 6 months and Air India banning him from flying with them until further notice. With several fellow propagandists including senior journalists defending Kamra, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tweeted a thread that exposed how Kunal Kamra binned an interview because it exposed his and Congress’ lies on Rohith Vemula.

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri said he was exposing Kunal Kamra because he was pretending to be the warrior of truth after the Arnab Goswami episode, however, he was an ‘opportunist liar’.

Vivek Agnihotri said that two years ago, Kunal Kamra had approached him for an interview and was insistent on getting Dr Anand Ranganathan or Rahul Roushan of Opindia feature in the interview as well. After Vivek agreed and confirmed that Dr Ranganathan would accompany him, Kamra said that it might dilute the interview and it would be better if it were only Vivek Agnihotri with Kunal Kamra on the show.

Vivek then says that at the last minute, Kunal Kamra told him that Sanjay Jha, Congress spokesperson would be joining the interview. While that decision surprised Vivek, he says that he later realised that Kamra and Jha work as a team in tandem and were trying to ‘corner’ him.

In the interview itself, Kunal Kamra asked Agnihotri “which was the most effective fake news”. To that, Vivek Agnihotri said “Rohith Vemula”.

Read: HCU student leader quits SFI, blames leftists for using Rohith Vemula’s death for political gains

Shockingly, Kunal Kamra, who was heckling and abusing Arnab in the name of Rohith Vemula agreed that it indeed was fake news but, “it worked against Modi, and how”. Being asking whether he would sell the suicide of a student to beat Modi, Kamra apparently said: “why not, it’s all fair in politics”.

According to Vivek Agnihotri, Kamra ended the interview abruptly when he was confronted by him. Agnihotri exposed the Dalit-Islamist nexus and asked them both if they had ever visited the villages of India and shared a meal in a Dalit household.

Read: Rohith’s suicide note: What the leftists don’t want to read

Shockingly, this interview was never aired by Kunal Kamra. Vivek asked Kamra a few times about the release of the interview, and Kamra repeatedly said that it was being edited. Finally, when asked on Twitter, Kamra said that the “tapes were lost”. “In my 20 yrs of TV experience I have never seen any recording getting lost as there are many instant backups”, said Agnihotri.

Shockingly, Vivek Agnihotri exposes that the ‘tapes being lost’ was a lie since, in their last communication, Kamra had said that he had sent the tapes to Delhi for approval. Nobody knows at this point whose approval was being sought. The suspicion, of course, is that since his and Congress’ lies on Rohith Vemula were exposed, the interview was unceremoniously binned and never aired.

After this fiasco, Kunal Kamra kept making “filthy jokes” and insulting Vivek Agnihotri and yet, was humoured for a while.

Last month, Vivek says, Kunal wanted to take a photo with Vivek in London, to get some Social Media traction.

In fact, Vivek Agnihotri even asked Kunal Kamra for an unedited interview with him, to which Kamra agreed but never turned up.

Read: After Indigo, Air India also bars propagandist Kunal Kamra from flying until further notice for his unruly behaviour onboard Mumbai-Lucknow flight

The shocking part of this entire narration by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is not just the fact that Kunal Kamra seems to have binned an interview because his and Congress’ lies were exposed, but that he even agreed that the propaganda around Rohith Vemula’s suicide was the greatest fake news peddled by the ecosystem to bring PM Modi down. Even after this admittance, Kamra used the tragic suicide of a student to justify his abuse and heckling of Arnab Goswami on the Lucknow-bound flight. This only goes to show that propagandists like Kunal Kamra don’t mind peddling a lie if it helps meet their political objectives.

Watch: Eminent lawyer Bhanu Pratap Singh calls for economic Jihad, says Baba Ramdev is supplying weapons for RSS

Despite unlimited cover-up and masking attempts by mainstream media and so-called ‘secular-liberals’, Shaheen Bagh protestors have long since established that Sharia Law and Islamic supremacy in India is all they care about.

Days after mastermind Sharjeel Imam’s speech calling for Muslims to rise and ‘cut off’ Assam and the North East from the rest of India, another video has come to light where a eminent lawyer Bhanu Pratap Singh is seen inciting Muslims to practice targeted economic boycott against specific brands and businesses.

In a video that is being widely shared on social media, the noted lawyer is seen telling the gathered Muslim crowd at Mustafabad in New Delhi to boycott all products of Reliance Industries Limited, including Jio, and petroleum. He says Muslims should use either Airtel, Vodafone or Idea, whatever brand they want but not Reliance.

Read: Case registered against Ex-AMUSU president Faizul Hasan over ‘Muslims can destroy anything’ hate speech

Interestingly, Singh seems to have forgotten that Reliance is India’s largest private sector company and it owns so many brands and businesses that a blanket ‘boycott’ might be terribly inconvenient.

Singh then goes ahead to call a ban on Yoga Guru Ramdev’s retail brand Patanjali. He is heard saying “What is Ramdev doing, he is selling us nothing but cows and Gobar (cow dung), and most of his products contain nothing but garbage.” He further insists that whatever Baba Ramdev’s company makes in profits, it is given to the RSS to ‘buy weapons’ against Muslims. “They take money from us and use it against us,” he adds.

He further says, “They are our enemies. We will boycott them and will break their backbone. The person whose backbone gets broken will never be able to stand against us. This is a war and we will have to adapt war tactics. Explain this well to your children, family and friends. Only we can do this.”

Recently, a former Indian Express journalist Irena Akbar had used her social media influence to urge Muslims to boycott and harass a Hindu man, owner of a gym and health products business in UP, because she thought his Facebook posts were ‘Islamophobic’.

It is notable here that the idea of economic boycott and promoting businesses that benefit only Muslims are taken from the Islamic religious understanding of ‘economic Jihad’, that is, reportedly, being practised in many places where Muslims constitute a significant part of the population.

A recent report published by Nikkei Asian Review has mentioned how a large group of Muslim investors in Indonesia have grouped together to found a chain of convenience stores, that aims to benefit and promote only Muslims. The investors proudly claim that it is a part of their ‘economic Jihad’.

Please come fast or my wife will die: Man pleads, but Shaheen Bagh ‘protestors’ don’t let an ambulance pass

A woman’s condition has reportedly turned critical and kept on life support system as she could not reach hospital on time owing to road blockade at Shaheen Bagh by anti-CAA protestors. As reported by Punjab Kesari, one woman who was severely ill took long to reach a hospital as an ambulance was not allowed to make way.

Punjab Kesari news snippet (image: @pokershash on Twitter)

The report states that one 44-year-old Mayawati was in pain and her husband, Devta Prasad Maurya was pleading to the driver of the ambulance to come faster otherwise his wife will die. He said that his wife was having breathing difficulty since Saturday.

As reported by Jagran, Maurya said that if anything happens to his wife, the ‘protestors’ at Shaheen Bagh who have blocked the Delhi-Noida road will be responsible. He said that it was because of these protests that the ambulance couldn’t reach on time because of which his wife’s condition deteriorated.

Meanwhile, with a lot of difficulty, Maurya managed to get an auto and he was able to take his wife to a private hospital in New Friends Colony area of New Delhi and admitted her to a private hospital.

Since the CAA was passed by the Parliament, the group of protesters mostly comprising of Mulsim women blocked a road in Kalindi Kunj area that connects Faridabad- New Delhi- Noida. This has led to traffic inconvenience, increasing travel time from 20 minutes to several hours.

In just a week, many incidents have surfaced which laid the secessionist agenda of the ultra-left wing protestors at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area exposed. It is now sufficiently clear that this protest like all other anti-CAA riots, is anything but ‘organic’. In fact, it is another typical left-wing organised blatant communal event where protestors are openly batting for secession from India.

Indigo, Air India and SpiceJet bar propagandist Kunal Kamra from flying for his unruly behaviour onboard Mumbai-Lucknow flight

Hours after Indigo put propagandist Kunal Kamra on six month No Fly List, national carrier Air India too barred him until further notice for his unruly behaviour onboard Mumbai-Lucknow Indigo flight.

This was followed by SpiceJet which tweeted that they have suspended Kamra from flying with their airline till further notice.

On Wednesday, Kamra took to Twitter to share how he was heckling Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami onboard an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Lucknow.

In the above video, one can see Kamra being annoyingly deranged while heckling to Arnab who continues to ignore him. The video was shot and uploaded by Kamra, perhaps to win accolades from his buddies who equally hate Goswami. He also kept saying how he was heckling Goswami ‘for Rohith’, the University of Hyderabad student who committed suicide in January 2019.

Read: ‘Mentally unstable’ Kunal Kamra abuses and heckles Arnab Goswami on a flight to Lucknow: Here is what actually happened

While the ‘liberals’ including Congress MP Shashi Tharoor hailed his targeted harassment towards an individual and unruly behaviour towards someone they don’t really agree with, Kamra’s deranged behaviour raised some serious security concerns.

In September 2017, the government of India through Ministry of Civil Aviation unveiled rules to tackle on-board disruptive and unruly behaviour by passengers which could put them on No Fly List. With Indigo barring him for flying for six months, Air India too followed suit.
