Indore Police arrests Bangladeshi smuggler and sex racket mastermind from Surat

Indore police arrested a wanted Bangladeshi smuggler and a sex racket mastermind, Munir ul Dazi, from Surat on Friday, 1st October, 2021.

According to reports, Munir ul Dazi was a Bangladeshi pimp who smuggled innocent girls from Bangladesh to India. He was also accused of making the girls addicted to drugs and providing them Indian citizenship through illegal means. Munir ul Dazi confessed that he was involved in a sex-racket between India and Bangladesh. According to reports, the 28 year old Bangladeshi used to marry girls and lure them into prostitution. He also used to bring girls to India by promising them jobs.

Indore SP Ashutosh Baaghri had said that the police have already jailed 30 people accused of bringing in Bangladeshi girls and dragging them into prostitution. The police had also rescued 21 Bangladeshi girls from these Bangladeshi pimps Munir ul Dazi targeted vulnerable orphan girls and trapped them on the pretext of providing jobs. Munir kept the girls in Kolkata after smuggling them through the border where they were trained and then sent to Mumbai for the next step. The girls were then put into prostitution and supplied according to the demand.

Reports said that the police were working on an operation to bust the racket for a long time rescuing 21 girls in the last 11 months. The police operation also resulted in the arrest of individuals named Sagar, Afreen, Amreen and others while Munir ul Dazi was on the run.

Last month, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) while investigating the human trafficking case in Bengaluru filed a charge sheet against 13 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in a special NIA court.

During the investigation, it was found that the thirteen charge-sheeted accused had crossed into India illegally. They also lured women from Bangladesh into India on the pretext of getting them jobs. These women were confined and sexually exploited in rented lodgings. The accused had also obtained faked identity cards such as Aadhaar cards, PAN card, for themselves as well as their victims.

Centre sanctioned 18,000 houses, SP govt did not even build 18: PM Modi on how Akhilesh Yadav betrayed the poor

On Tuesday (October 5), Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for depriving poor families of government-sanctioned households. He made the remarks during his address at the ‘Azadi@75-New Urban India: Transforming Urban Landscape’ Expo in Indira Gandhi Prathisthan in Lucknow.

At about 2 hours and 24 minutes into the programme, PM Modi stated, “I remember the time when despite best efforts, Uttar Pradesh was lagging behind in the construction of houses. Today, when I am in Lucknow, I think I must tell the story to you in detail. The people of UP must know this to understand how urban planning in a State becomes the victim of petty politics.”

He emphasised, “The Central government was sending money for the construction of new homes. However, the government, which existed prior to 2017 in the State, did not want to build houses for the poor at all. We had to plead with the previous government to build houses for the needy people. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Centre had sanctioned the construction of 18000 homes prior to 2017.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed out, “The then State government did not even build 18 houses for the people. Permission to build 18K houses but not even 18 houses built. These things must make you ponder. Funds were available for the construction of houses but the State government was deliberately creating hurdles. The people of UP can never forget the actions (of Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi party).

PM Modi informed that after Yogi Adityanath came to power in UP in 2017, about 9 lakh poor families in urban areas were allocated homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He added that about 14 lakh new homes are in different stages of construction. He said that the housewarming events have become joyous for poor families since they now have access to electricity, water supply, and gas connections.

PM Modi set a challenge for UP CM, asks PMAY beneficiaries to light 18 lakh diyas

The Indian Prime Minister had also appealed to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to light 2 diyas on the occasion of Diwali and surpass the record of 7.5 lakh lit diyas in Ayodhya. He had set up the mammoth challenge before the Yogi Adityanath government to ensure its implementation. At about 2 hours 27 minutes into the programme, PM Modi remarked, “Since I have come to Uttar Pradesh, I want to give some homework. But you will have to do it. Will you?”

He emphasised, “I have read in the papers that there will be an event during Diwali at Ayodya wherein 7.5 lakh diyas would be lit. I want to encourage the people of Uttar Pradesh to join me in this competition of ‘light.’ I want to see that the 9 lakh houses alloted under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana light 2 diyas i.e. a total of 18 lakh diyas as compared to Ayodhya’s 7 lakhs. Can this be done?” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Lord Ram will be pleased with such a sight.

Delhi: Ten people including two women arrested for attacking Police in Seemapuri, one of the hotspots for 2019 anti-CAA violence

The Delhi Police have arrested ten people including two women for pelting stones at a police vehicle and attacking policemen in the Seemapuri area, Shahdara on 1st October. The incident had occurred when the police had visited the area for the investigation of a case.

Incidents of stone-pelting were also reported at that time from the area.

On Tuesday (October 5), Prime Minister Narendra Modi posed a challenge before the Yogi Adityanath-led-Uttar Pradesh government ahead of Diwali celebrations next month. PM Modi made the remarks during his address at the ‘Azadi@75-New Urban India: Transforming Urban Landscape’ Expo in Indira Gandhi Prathisthan in Lucknow.

The Indian Prime Minister has appealed to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to light 2 diyas on the occasion of Diwali and surpass the record of 7.5 lakh lit diyas in Ayodhya. About 7.5 lakh diyas will be lit in Ayodhya. But, 18 lakh diyas will be lit in the houses of my poor brothers and sisters. Even Lord Ram will be pleased,” PM Modi concluded. The Indian Prime Minister also digitally handed over keys to 75000 PMAY beneficiaries in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

BJP sweeps Gandhinagar civic polls with a full majority, wins 41 out of 44 seats, AAP decimated: Details

Ahead of the all-important assembly elections early next year, the incumbent BJP has won over 41 of the total 44 seats of the Gandhinagar municipal corporation that went to the polls on October 3. The Congress party has managed to win 2 seats while the new entrant AAP has bagged only 1 seat.

This is the first time that the BJP has managed to get a full majority after Gandhinagar got Municipal Corporation status in 2010. The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party, which were quite optimistic going into the polls, had an embarrassing outing as it had a dismal performance, winning just 1 of the total 44 seats.

As the poll results hinted towards a full majority of the BJP in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, workers of the saffron party hit the streets in celebrations.

A total of 162 candidates were in the fray for the 44 seats across 11 wards in GMC. With the entry of AAP, the elections had become a three-pronged battle. The BJP and the Congress party had fielded candidates on all 44 seats while the AAP had selected candidates for 40 seats. Besides, other candidates contesting the polls included 14 from the BSP, two from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), six from other parties and 11 independents.

The polling had taken place on Sunday, October 3. A total of 2.82 lakhs—1.45 lakh males and 1.36 lakh females—were expected to cast votes in the polls. About 284 polling booths were installed by the SEC and 129 of them were marked as ‘sensitive’.

Along with the GMC, elections were also conducted in two Nagar Palika–Tharad in Banaskantha and Okha in Devbhumi Dwarka–and mid-term elections to Bhanvad Nagar Palika in Devbhumi Dwarka. The three Nagar Palika witnessed an estimated average of 59.52 per cent voting.

Priyanka Gandhi weaves another conspiracy to paint herself as victim, days after threatening UP police of fake molestation charges

After threatening to accuse Uttar Pradesh Police of molestation, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has now accused Uttar Pradesh government of ‘monitoring’ her move.

According to a report by India Today, the claim was made by Priyanka Gandhi’s secretary. She claims she spotted a drone in Sitapur, where the Congress General Secretary has been kept in the PAC guest house by the UP police. Priyanka Gandhi had reached Lucknow late on Sunday and was on her way to Lakhimpur Kheri to express ‘solidarity’ with ‘farmers’ after ‘farmer’ mob attacked BJP workers’ convoy leading to death of 8 people.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress loyalist Bhupesh Baghel also tweeted a video of the same, crying about how their boss had been detained by the UP police for over 30 hours.

Here it becomes important to understand that whenever a politically sensitive situation as the one in Lakhimpur Kheri arises, it becomes the state administration’s responsibility to ensure the law and order situation is maintained. Therefore, it is understandable why when Priyanka Gandhi Vadra refused to pay heed to the police’s request and stay back from visiting the violence-hit area, and instead threatened the UP police, it left the latter with no option but to detain her.

While members of the Congress party are attempting to exploit their leader’s detention as yet another political gimmick, it is important to remember how Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been milking the situation in the run-up to the UP assembly elections in order to kickstart her political career once again.

Interestingly, while detained, a video of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sweeping her room with a broom in her hand was also shared by Congress. Netizens, obviously had a field day mocking it by saying that Priyanka Gandhi is actually sweeping away whatever of Congress is left in Uttar Pradesh.

Sikhs for Justice wants ‘farmers’ to use “drones-tractors terror” against Yogi Adityanath, hold him at siege: Read details

Following the Lakhimpur Kheri incident that claimed the lives of eight, including three BJP workers, not only opposition parties and anti-India elements are trying to take advantage, terrorist organizations have jumped into milk the incident. On October 4, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, head of Khalistani terrorist organization Sikhs For Justice, issued a video statement and a letter. Pannu instigated Sikhs to use drones and tractors against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Minister Ajay Mishra on October 9.

In his statement, Pannu said, “Today four farmers were killed in Lakhimpur, UP. Hundreds of deaths have happened since farmer protests started. The only way out is Khalistan. Kisan Hal Khalistan.” He further added, “On October 9, siege Yogi and Ajay Mishra, whose vehicles were used to kill our brothers. Use drones and tractors. Seige Yogi and Ajay Mishra. Do not pick up arms. But use legal terror. Put them under house arrest. Only Khalistan can solve your problems. If the hundreds of deaths had for freedom, we would have attained freedom by now.”

A letter was issued by Pannu as well in which he announced that SFJ would give $7,500 to the family of each farmer who had died in the Lakhimpur incident.

He also mentioned that October 9 is when Sukha and Jinda were executed after they were found guilty in General AS Vaidya’s assassination case.

Sikhs For Justice and farmer protests

Since farmer protests had started, terrorist organization Sikhs for Justice has been trying to use it to instigate violence in India. Its head Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, a designated Terrorist as per Indian Law, had announced cash rewards for those who would hoist the Khalistani flag on Red Fort on Republic Day. The same had happened on January 26 when a group of protesting ‘farmers’ barged into Red Fort and hoisted two alien flags.

What happened in Lakhimpur Kheri

On October 3, eight people lost their lives, including three BJP members in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, after protesting ‘farmers’ turned violent and pelted stones on the BJP convoy. Social media was full of reports that BJP leader Ajay Mishra’s son mowed down farmers. However, more details emerged later that stated Ajay’s son Ashish Mishra was not present on the ground at the time of the incident. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi left for Lakhimpur on Sunday evening with Deepinder Hooda. They were detained, after which Gandhi misbehaved and threatened the Police officers.

More videos emerged on Sunday and Monday in which protesters were seen attacking the convoy. One video showed farmers threatening a man in a white shirt to say that he was sent by Mishra to kill the farmers. He died soon after. The man was identified as Shyam Sunder Nishad.

Two other BJP workers who died were Shubham Mishra and Hariom Mishra. They went to see the local wrestling match. Shubham’s father said in his complaint that Shubham’s gold chain, mobile and wallet were stolen by the protesters who had killed him. He also named Tajinder Singh Virk of Samajwadi Party and Kisan Union leader one of the foremost perpetrators. The government has announced 45 lakh compensation and a government job to the kin of all who had died in the incident. Notably, nearby areas of Lakhimpur Kheri have been flagged as Khalistan hotspots.

Congress and Khalistani elements unhappy with Tikait for ending Lakhimpur Kheri controversy ‘so soon’

On Sunday, a rampaging mob of ‘protesting farmers’ attacked BJP leaders and workers, resulting in the death of 8 people. The mob was so irate that they even lynched one car driver to death and another BJP worker whose video went viral. In the video, Shyam Sunder, a BJP worker was seen pleading for his life. The ‘farmers’ were forcing him to confess that a BJP Minister had sent him to murder farmers but he refused to say so. The entire thing was captured on camera. Later he was found brutally murdered.

While politicians fomented trouble further, Rakesh Tikait, who was giving provocative statements trying to foment trouble, was suddenly seen with the Uttar Pradesh Police in a press conference where the police were announcing Rs 45 lac compensation for those killed in the violence, including the ‘farmers’ and the BJP leaders lynched by these farmers. During the press conference, the police had also said that peace will be maintained and the culprits brought to book.

While Lakhimpur Kheri could have burnt with ‘farmers’ going on a rampage and BJP indulging in retaliatory violence, UP police announced that it had made sure that politicians could not enter the area to create more trouble. With that, the situation was brought under control with Rakesh Tikait sitting through the press conference with the police.

Politicians and Congress-friendly media were not happy with the press conference. An indication of that unease with Rakesh Tikait being present at the press conference came with Vinod Kapri’s tweet. Vinod Kapri had earlier peddled fake news, trying to insinuate that it was Ashish Mishra, son of a BJP leader, who was driving the car that had ‘run over’ the farmers.

Vinod Kapri said that Rakesh Tikait should be questioned as to how he “reached a compromise” after the “massacre” even before the “killers” had been called.

Kapri is not the only person who now does not trust Rakesh Tikait. According to sources, several leaders from the Congress and also Khalistani elements are unhappy with Rakesh Tikait and are losing faith in him to keep the fire burning and the violence brewing ahead of the UP elections.

A source in the Congress party, who first refused to talk to OpIndia saying we are ‘anti-Congress but then spoke to us on the condition of anonymity said, “We have to ask why Priyanka Gandhi and others like Akhilesh Yadav were arrested while Rakesh Tikait was sitting with the UP police and doing a press conference”. “This was a massacre and Rakesh Tikait sold the interest of the farmers by sitting with the police in Uttar Pradesh. Has Rakesh Tikait become a BJP leader now?”, asked the Congress leader.

Another SP worker said, “We work on the ground with the UP elections coming up. These leaders come from outside and join hands with BJP the first chance they get. Our leaders need to be careful of such snakes”.

Several sympathisers and Congress-leaning propagandists saw Priyanka Gandhi’s detention in Lakhimpur Kheri as yet another starting point of her political rebirth and the revival of the Congress party in UP politics just like Indira Gandhi had resurrected a moribund Congress party after her visit to Belchi in Bihar 1977.

Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, whose predilection for the Congress party is often apparent and unmistakable, posted a tweet wondering if Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Lakhimpur Kheri is her “Belchi moment”. Several observers and media personalities wanted to paint this as Priyanka’s Belchi moment, giving her the political momentum that she needed.

Even Khalistani terrorist from Sikh For Justice Gurpatwant Singh Pannu released a video calling for more violence.

It is clear that Khalistani, Congress, SP and opposition friendly are now losing faith in Rakesh Tikait to keep the violence going and are now trying to resort to other measures – like Congress friendly journalists like Vinod Kapri peddling fake news about BJP leaders ‘murdering’ farmers to foment more violence.

The Lakhimpur Kheri violence that claimed that lives of 8 displayed the deep connivance between ‘farmer leaders’, politicians like Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav etc. While the truth was that the car was being attacked by the ‘farmers’ and lost control, running over 4 farmers, the narrative that went out in the world was extremely different, thanks to vested interests like opposition politicians and a pliant media. The media and these politicians insisted that the BJP leader’s car had deliberately run over the farmers and that the lynching of the BJP leaders after that was a direct result of the ‘brutality’ by the leader in the car.

The truth emerged only later when a new video showed how the car lost balance and had ended up running over farmers, following which, ‘farmers’ lynched BJP workers.

Lakhimpur Kheri – Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Belchi moment: What it means when it comes from Congress-friendly elements

It was 1977, the public discontent against Indira Gandhi was on its peak, thanks to the simmering anger among the people over her misbegotten plan of imposing the Emergency in the country and curtailing individual rights. When about 14 Dalits were massacred in Bihar’s town of Belchi, Gandhi sensed it as a political opportunity to placate the resentful sentiments people harboured against her.

She immediately rushed to Belchi along with a cavalcade of 35 cars, rode an elephant and managed to attract popular grandstanding despite a recent election defeat and had the locals applaud her as the saviour of the oppressed class. The result was evident in the next elections when Indira regained power handsomely.

Indira, whose political career was about to hit the rock bottom, found the ladder made of these 14 Dalit lives and made a strong comeback. The Belchi visit was hailed by the media as the watershed moment that tipped the odds in favour of Indira Gandhi. Hailed and hyped by a pliant media and ecosystem, Belchi helped Indira and the Congress party to remain relevant in the national politics, and it even laid the foundation for her coming back to power in 1980.

About four and a half decades later, the Congress party is again at the crossroads, with its popularity and acceptance at its nadir. The recent Punjab fiasco has also eroded whatever little trust people had in the leadership acumen of the current generation of Gandhi leaders.

As questions are raised over Gandhis’ claim on Congress leadership, the partisan media journalists and sycophant members of the Congress party are desperately hopeful that Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Lakhimpur Kheri would garner the same amount of sympathy and support as grandmother’s visit to Belchi did and once again reverse the downward spiral of the Congress party.

It is pertinent to note that even the Congress leader said that Lakhimpur Kheri was meant to be Priyanka Gandhi’s Belchi moment and with Rakesh Tikait dampening the narrative, the trust factor in the “farmer leader” seems to be dwindling.

Not satire: Congress leaders claim Facebook, WhatsApp worldwide outage was Modi conspiracy to curb Priyanka Gandhi’s popularity

On October 4, users worldwide faced outage of several services owned by Facebook Inc., including social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. It took several hours for the services to go up again. In an official statement, Facebook said, “Our engineering teams have learned that configuration changes on the backbone routers that coordinate network traffic between our data centres caused issues that interrupted this communication. This disruption to network traffic had a cascading effect on the way our data centres communicate, bringing our services to a halt.”

However, Congress leaders and supporters blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian government for the outage. They alleged that the services went down as a part of a conspiracy to curb the popularity of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and to ensure information about the Lakhimpur incident does not go out in public. They meant this in all seriousness.

Vinay Kumar Dokania, National Co-Coordinator Congress Social Media, said, “Whatsapp, Facebook r most widely used apps in India. Both #WhatsAppDown & #facebookdown for more than 3hours now, the longest since last time memory serves me. Does one smell a conspiracy by Modi frnd Zuckerberg to prevent the brutal #lakhimpur_farmer_massacre video from going viral?”

In a now-deleted tweet, Congress leader Udit Raj said, “It seems FC [FB], Whatapp [WhatsApp] & Instagram are deliberately blocked by the govt to contain the movement of Smt Priyanka Gandhi & Opposition and farmers.”

Udit Raj is part of the ‘agitation committee’ Congress set up under leadership of veteran leader Digvijaya Singh. Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also one of the members along with Udit Raj. Udit Raj believes Facebook servers crashed to ‘contain’ Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s ‘movements’.

Rohan Gupta, Chairman, Social Media Department, Indian National Congress, said, “WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram outage was coincidence or an experiment?”

Pankhuri Pathak, Vice-Chairperson Social Media UPCC, said, “WhatsApp and Facebook never faced outage for such a long duration. They go down on their own, or it was done to suppress the truth of the Lakhimpur Farmer massacre? Was it to stop the new video from getting viral?”

UP East Youth Congress wrote, “The video of the murder has emerged. Sahib [PM Modi] has a visit to Lucknow tomorrow. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, everything is closed. Or is it done intentionally? You decide!!”

Though the company has clarified that it was a technical fault that led to the worldwide outage of the services, Congress leaders and supporters are trying to implicate that the Indian government intentionally got Facebook servers down in India to suppress the voice of Congress leaders, especially Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Delhi HC issues notice to Twitter over plea seeking action against Rahul Gandhi: Details

The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Twitter over a plea seeking directions to the social media platform and Delhi Police to take action against senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for revealing the identity of the kin of a murder and rape victim in a tweet.

However, the Court refused to issue notices to Rahul Gandhi, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and the Commissioner of Delhi Police in connection with the matter. All three are respondents in the plea that was filed.

Twitter has time till the 30th of November to file its reply. Earlier, Twitter had removed the tweet by Rahul Gandhi where he had disclosed the identity of the parents of a rape victim. The National NCPCR had also issued notice to Twitter India asking it to take action against Gandhi’s Twitter account for violating the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Juvenile Justice Act by revealing Delhi’s Nangal rape victim’s identity.

The mother of the victim had later confirmed that the Congress leader had not sought her consent before sharing her photograph on social media. It was after the Congress party had claimed that he had permission to share the photograph.
