Fear and panic gripped the Katghar police station area in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad district after an e-rickshaw driver was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight. The video of the gruesome incident was captured on camera and has now gone viral on various social media websites.
In the video, a young man, identified as Ubaid, could be seen carrying a knife in his hand and chasing the victim, Zahid, who tries to fend off the attacker. The incident took place in a crowded market area as throngs of people stood as mute spectators, watching the ugly scuffle happening before them without trying to intervene.
It was only after Ubaid had mortally injured Zahid and was beginning to leave when some bystanders mustered courage and caught the attacker. He was later handed over to the police.
Following Zahid’s death, his brother, Nasir, took the vow of killing Ubaid and his brother in front of everyone.
Initial investigation in the matter revealed that Zahid was lured into a trap by Ubaid, who called him up and asked for a meeting. Zahid, oblivious to Ubaid’s real intentions, agreed to meet him. When Zahid reached the spot, he was greeted with knife attacks by Ubaid.
As per the police, the case pertains to personal enmity. The victim and the attacker’s family knew each other for a long time. The roots of the incident lie in the love marriage of the younger brother of the victim and the sister of the attacker.
While the duo was in love with each other, the girl’s family was reportedly against their relationship. About 20 days ago, the duo got married against the will of the girl’s family. This did not sit well with Ubaid, who proceeded to teach the boy’s family a lesson. Armed with a knife, he entered the crowded market of Gulab Bari in Moradabad and attacked Zahid, the boy’s elder brother.
After the incident, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The body of the deceased was later sent to the district hospital for post mortem. A case has been filed against Ubaid and legal proceedings are currently underway.

The former Punjab CM told Arnab Goswami on Republic TV, “I feel let down. I feel betrayed, obviously. I feel humiliated. And I am not one of those who can take humiliation. But that doesn’t mean I am out of politics… I will decide what to do in due course.”
He said that he believed something like this wouldn’t happen due to his association with Sonia Gandhi and her children.
#CaptainSpeaksToArnab | ‘I felt humiliated. Didn’t think of it, but that is perhaps because of my association with Sonia Gandhi & children. I thought this wouldn’t happen’: @capt_amarinder tells Arnab Goswami after stepping down as CM.
About Navjot Singh Sidhu, Amarinder Singh said, “I removed him from my cabinet for incompetence. How can I support an incompetent man for Chief Ministership? He told News18, ‘I will never accept Navjot Singh Sidhu as CM. He is a total disaster. He cannot run one Ministry, how will he run an entire state? I know that he has no capability.’
Singh also bashed Navjot Singh Sidhu for the latter’s apparent love for the Pakistani military and its leaders. He claims to have told Sidhu, “here are my soldiers getting killed and you are going and hugging the Pakistani chief General Bajwa. Then you are going to Imran Khan where policies are made against our nation. Do you know how many drones are coming into Punjab on a daily basis? How much weaponry has come into Punjab? How much RDX explosives, how many grenades, how many pistols, over 50,000 rounds of ammunition, all that is coming in the state, what does it come in for?”
Captain Amarinder Singh also claims to have told Sidhu to not go to attend Imran Khan’s swearing in. He has also said that Sidhu is a threat to national security. He said that the latter is friend with Imran Khan and has relations with Pakistani General Qamar Bajwa.

He has remain tight-lipped about the possibility of joining another party and said that he will take a decision after discussing the matter with his supporters. The significant development is that while he has rejected the possibility of joining the Akalis, he has not said the same for the BJP. He only said that he will take a decision after discussing the matter with his aides.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned emotional after 2.5 crore vaccines were administered across the country in a single day on the occasion of his 71st birthday. He also commented that this single vaccination world record had made a political party (the Congress) feverish.
Narendra Modi who on Saturday joined the virtual interaction with healthcare workers and beneficiaries of Goa expressed his feeling about how the medical fraternity of the country made his birthday memorable.
“Birthdays come and go and I remain detached to such things. But the life I have lived so far yesterday was quite emotional for me. I appreciate doctors, innovators, medical staff, nurses, all frontline workers and administrative people across the country if a world record has been made to administer 2.5 crore vaccines in a single day. They have toiled to make the vaccination drive successful,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
PM @narendramodi
The Prime Minister added that administering 2.5 crore vaccines in a single day is not a small achievement because even the most powerful countries of the world have not been able to achieve this target. He urged to keep boosting the vaccination drive a success.
Narendra Modi also appreciated doctors and medical staff for their tireless efforts and services during Covid-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister who often amuses with his subtle satire and witty remarks took a dig at the Congress without naming it when he said that 2.5 crore vaccines on a day made a political party feverish.
“Often beneficiaries of the Covid-19 vaccine experience side effects. After 2.5 crore people were inoculated yesterday a political party experienced fever,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister was apparently hinting to the Congress that has been attacking the BJP and Prime Minister from press conferences to social media. The party has been accusing that vaccinations were kept low in the last week to achieve the record on Friday.
The Congress which is left with no good taste now marked the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister as bad Omen Day. The Congress kept mocking and criticizing the vaccination drive.
“Looking forward to many more days of 2.1 crore vaccinations. This pace is what our country needs,” Rahul Gandhi of the Congress posted this on his Twitter handle.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister said that yesterday it was quite exciting to look at the CoWIN dashboard where the vaccination figure was running fast. “Over 15 lakh vaccinations per hour, over 26,000 vaccinations every minute, and over 425 people were administered vaccines each second,” he said.
According to provisional data, as many as 2,50,10,390 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. The Prime Minister also appreciated Goa for achieving 100 per cent vaccination of the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
BJP leader Agnimitra Paul has accused incumbent West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of disrespecting the sentiments of the Sikh community during the latter’s visit to Sant Kutiya Gurudwara on Wednesday (September 15). The development comes ahead of by-polls in the Bhabanipur constituency that is scheduled to take place on September 30.
Agnimitra Paul, BJP MLA from South Asansol, took to Facebook on Saturday (September 18) to express her unhappiness over the incident. She wrote, “We respect religion and religious sites. Several people invest their feelings in their Faith. Mamata Banerjee had visited a Gurudwara as part of her election campaign in Bhabanipur.” The BJP leader had shared a picture of one of the security guards of Mamata Banerjee, who neither wore a headcover nor removed his shoes.
Miffed by the indifference to the religious sentiments of the Sikh community in Bhabanipur, Agnimitra Paul pointed out, “As part of the protocol, one is expected to cover their head. It can be seen that the Chief Minister’s security guard did not cover his head. I am yet to find a statement of apology from the Chief Minister’s office after this incident.”
In a video shared by Taanusree Bose, the State correspondent of ‘India Ahead’, the said security guard was seen stepping out of the convoy of Mamata Banerjee. Clad in a khaki shirt and blue jeans, he was seen accompanying the West Bengal Chief Minister into the Sant Kutiya Gurudwara at Harish Mukherjee street in Bhabanipur.
Ahead of the by-poll elections, Mamata Banerjee has been trying to woo the voters by visiting various shrines belonging to different religious denominations. Given that the Bhabanipur constituency has a sizeable presence of Sikhs and Punjabi speaking voters, the incumbent CM decided to pay a visit to one of the biggest Gurudwaras in Kolkata.
With the hope to cash on the ongoing farmer protests in Punjab, she said, “I have (offered) full support to them. Anything they need, you can send me the proposal, I am ready to give them any help. Three-four times, I also addressed them through mobile phone. They are fighting bravely.” However, the recent faux pas and the brazen indifference towards the religious sentiments of the Sikh community can steer several voters away.
Google India’s reputation took a hit after findings from a recent probe conducted by the CCI (Competition Commission of India) found it guilty of adopting anti-competitive, unfair and restrictive trade practices in the mobile operating system and related markets.
The investigation process that went on for two years following an investigation ordered by the CCI in April 2019 found Google guilty of stifling competition and innovation to the detriment of the market, as well as the consumer, in order to maintain its grip and dominance in search, music, browser, App Library and other key services.
The report submitted by the CCI’s investigation department stated that Google reduced “the ability and incentive of device manufacturers to develop and sell devices operating on alternative versions of Android”. According to Reuters, the report also mentioned accusations on Google for abusing its dominant position over the Android platform and illegal use of financial resources to hurt competitors. The report will be reviewed by the Senior members of CCI later, after which Google India will get a chance to defend itself before a final order is issued.
The investigation report consisting of 750 pages notes that the mandatory pre-installation of apps “amounts to imposition of unfair condition on the device manufacturers” and thereby violating India’s competition law. According to the CCI probe report, Play Store policies were “one-sided, ambiguous, vague, biased and arbitrary”, when Android has been “enjoying its dominant position” in licensable operating systems for smartphones and tablets since 2011.
The report also found Google India contravening the provisions of Section 4(2)(a)(i), Section 4(2)(b), Section 4(2)(c), Section 4(2)(d) and Section 4(2)(e) of the Competition Act and added several other charges of abuse of dominance, denial of market access to competitors, and limiting technical or scientific development relating to goods or services to the prejudice of the consumers.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which is investigating the cases of post-poll violence and other similar offences during the assembly election in West Bengal as per an order of the Calcutta High Court, registered two more cases on Friday. With this, as per the CBI, the total number of cases registered by the agency in this connection has gone up to 35.
Out of these two fresh cases, the first case is related to the murder of a first-time voter and BJP supporter Anand Burman who was murdered at a polling booth on the day of polling on April 10 at the Sitalkuchi police station of Cooch Behar district of West Bengal. The complainant Gobindo Burman, a native of Pathan Tuli village, had gone to cast vote along with his brother Anand Burman when 12 people on four bikes arrived at the polling booth. They lobbed bombs and sprayed bullets that killed his brother and two others were injured.
The eyewitness had said that Anand who was the BJP supporter as killed when he had gone to vote. There was no history of personal enmity and it was only due to the fact that he worked for the BJP while the attackers worked for Trinamool Congress. 18 years old Anando was a first-time voter and his first meeting with democracy was greeted with bullets. The CBI in this case has booked 12 persons accused namely Hamkim Miyan, Karim Miyan, Baqsh Miyan, Mithun Miyan, Bulu Miyan, Tabul Miyan, Rintu Miyan, Hobi Miyan, Tapan Burman, Subash Burman, Nityanand Burman and Dineshwar Burman. They have been booked under various sections of IPC, Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act.
The second case is also related to a murder case lodged at Nodakhali police station under 24 Parganas district by one Ranjit Halder. There are 19 accused in this case. The incident had taken place on the afternoon of July 2. The victim alleged that the accused lynched her bhabhi Chandana Halder and seriously injured his elder brother Swaroop Halder.
Notably last week, the CBI had arrested 11 accused of their involvement in the post-poll violence where across West Bengal the BJP leaders, workers and supporters were murdered, assaulted and even raped allegedly by the supporters of Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress. However, Bengal has a history of political violence, but, 2021 assembly election of West Bengal will be remembered for the worst ever political violence. Mamata Banerjee herself lost the Nandigram assembly seat but she retained power for the third consecutive term amid the tough contest offered by the BJP. But the workers and supporters of the BJP had to pay the price. The enormity and the scale of the crime were so huge that thousands of the BJP workers and supporters had to flee to other states to save their life and limbs due to the post-poll violence unleashed by TMC workers.
The Calcutta High Court was forced to order the court-monitored probe after reports and complaints that Bengal Police is ignoring the complaints of victims as no FIR in as many as 60 per cent cases were taken. The West Bengal State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) had recorded over a thousand complaints of post poll violence. Other than the CBI, the National Human Rights Commission also had carried probe regarding alleged cases of violations of human right in Bengal.
After months the infighting within the Punjab Congress and increasing pressure from the Navjot Singh Sidhu for change in leadership, the party’s senior minister and Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has tendered his resignation Saturday, September 18.
Talking to reporters after submitting his resignation, Amarinder Singh said that he resigned after he was humiliated by the party leadership. ‘I feel humiliated’, he said. Referring to the Congress Legislative Party meeting of the party MLAs called today evening, he said that this is the third time such meeting has been called. This indicated that the party has some doubts on him, he said, adding that he has felt humiliated by this.
He refused to comment on his future course of action. He added that he has not left the Congress party, and remains a party member. He said that he along with his supporters will decide on the future course of action after discussions.
As per sources, Captain Amarinder Singh had called for a meeting with his loyalists at 2 pm at his residence. After the meeting, the CM went to the Punjab governor’s house and tendered his resignation to Banwarilal Purohit, along with the resignation of the council of ministers.

Earlier, speculations were doing the rounds that the party high command has asked Singh to submit his resignation.
Ahead of his resignation, his son Raninder Singh had confirmed the development. He had tweeted that he is accompanying his father to the governor’s house. More importantly, Raninder Singh had also added that Amarinder Singh will lead them “as head of our family into a new beginning et al.”
Haha indeed indeed must go now as I am proud to accompany my father to Raj Bhawan when he submits his resignation as CM of Punjab and leads us as head of our family into a new beginning et all.
Reportedly, around 40 MLAs had written to party leadership expressing their dissatisfaction with captain Amarinder Singh and demanding his removal from the post of the chief minister.
According to reports, Amarinder Singh’s decision to quit his post came after the Congress party called for a Congress Legislative Party meeting at 5 PM today without informing him. Amarinder Singh proposed to resign from his office ahead of the CLP meeting, telling Sonia Gandhi that he “cannot take any more humiliation.” The fact that the CLP meeting was called without informing him, he is the leader of the CLP, was considered as a huge humiliation by him.
He then scheduled a 2 pm meeting with his supporters. The Congress party’s top command reportedly instructed party MLAs to skip Captain Amarinder Singh’s 2 pm meeting and instead attend the 5 pm gathering.
‘Cannot continue with the humiliation’, Captain Amarinder Singh tells Sonia Gandhi
Earlier in the day, Captain Amarinder Singh had called Congress President Sonia Gandhi and veteran Congressman Kamal Nath, telling them that he was a “true Congressman at heart” who would do nothing to harm the party’s chances in the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. He had told Sonia Gandhi that he had accepted all of the political changes that had happened up until that point on her word, but that he could no longer bear such “humiliation”.
It is months before Uttar Pradesh would go to assembly polls. But the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is already preparing for a contingency plan in case his party suffers a humiliating defeat in the state elections, which overwhelmingly appears to be the likely outcome.
Yadav had this week resorted to the hoary refrain of blaming the EVMs in a bid to deflect the responsibility of an embarrassing poll drubbing. Earlier yesterday, Yadav sounded alarm saying that the people of Uttar Pradesh should be on the lookout for EVMs and DMs(District Magistrates) as both were misused by the government to influence result in Bihar assembly elections this year.
The Samajwadi Party chief asserted that assembly elections this time will be for saving democracy and blamed the BJP of employing unconstitutional methods to influence the elections.
“Uttar Pradesh ka chunav, bada chunav hai. Chunav mein EVM aur DM se sawdhan rehna hai. Bihar vidhan sabha chunav mein beimani EVM aur DM ke zariye hui (UP elections will be important elections. In the elections beware of EVMs and DMs. In Bihar assembly polls, EVMs and DMs influenced the results),” he said.
The popular practice among opposition parties to raise the bogey of EVM manipulation and deflect accountability
Ever since the BJP started winning elections after elections following the grand victory registered in 2014 general elections, the opposition parties such as Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party, AAP, and others have taken to peddling conspiracy theories regarding the EVMs and their alleged tampering. It serves dual purposes: discredits BJP’s victory and downplays their defeat as a result of electoral manipulation.
In November 2020, as BJP-led NDA pulled ahead in vote count, opposition parties made a beeline to allege EVM malfunctioning as the possible reason for their predicament.
In March 2021, a good two months before TMC stormed back into power in West Bengal, the Mamata Banerjee-led party had raised the EVM bogey claiming that no matter which button was pressed, the votes automatically went to the BJP. When they won the assembly elections later in May, there was no protest against the manipulation of EVMs. Instead, they were busy presiding over the worst political witch-hunt and post-poll violence witnessed in the country.
Last year, Congress veteran leader Digivijay Singh had raised a similar din minutes before the counting of votes began for the Delhi Assembly elections. Similarly in 2019, when the Congress party realised that their candidate Randeep Singh Surjewala is set to lose the important Jind by-polls in Haryana, the workers of the Congress party took to the streets to protest against the election results while raising doubts regarding EVM tampering.
Likewise, in 2018, when BJP was all set to form a government in Karnataka, a senior Congress leader had raked up the same issue of malpractices in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
The Central Board of Direct Taxes on Saturday issued a statement over the ongoing Income Tax raids against actor Sonu Sood. After conducting searches for three days in a row, the IT department said Sood had evaded taxes to the tune of over Rs 20 crores.
As per CBDT, during the course of the raid at the premises of the actor and his associates, incriminating evidence pertaining to tax evasion have been found. The method adopted by the actor, the IT dept said, was to funnel his unaccounted income in the form of bogus unsecured loans from many bogus entities. These fake loans were then used for making investments and buying properties.
“Investigations have so far unearthed 20 entries, the providers of which, have accepted on oath to have provided bogus accommodation entries. They have accepted to have issued cheques in lieu of cash. Then there were instances where professional receipts have been disguised as loans in the books of accounts for the purpose of evasion of tax,” the tax department said.
While Sonu Sood had collected huge amounts in donations, most of the amount is lying unused, and only a small amount has been distributed. According to the statement, while a total of ₹18.94 crore was collected, only ₹1.9 crore was used, and the rest over ₹17 crore has not been used yet.
“The Charity Foundation incorporated by the actor on 21st July, 2020 has collected donations to the tune of Rs 18.94 crore from 01.04.2021 till date, out of which it has spent around Rs. 1.9 crore towards various relief work and the balance of Rs. 17 crore has been found lying unutilized in the bank account of the Foundation till date,” the statement said.
Besides, the tax department has also added that Sood’s non-profit organisation was founded to have violated FCRA norms, as the organisation is not registered under FCRA and hence not authorised to receive foreign currency donations. It had raised Rs 2.1 crore from foreign donors using a crowdfunding platform in contravention of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act – which keeps a tab on such transactions. According to IT officials, a large portion of donations sought from abroad in the name of helping people remained unutilised in the bank account of a charity founded by Sonu Sood.
The statement issued by I-T Dept
In addition, the probe officials also chanced upon documents that showed Sonu Sood was involved in circular training. An elaborate series of documents, now under the possession of IT sleuths, revealed that money was routed through various accounts, but the real beneficiary was Sonu Sood himself.
Furthermore, Sood has also been accused of evading taxes by claiming false expenditure.
IT department conducts raid against Sonu Sood over his links with a Lucknow-based real estate company
The action against Sonu Sood was initiated on Wednesday when the IT dept officials conducted raids at 6 locations linked to the act over a deal between a firm owned by him and a Lucknow-based infrastructure company following a tax evasion complaint.
According to the sources quoted by media organisations, the Lucknow-based real estate company is involved in fake billing of subcontracting expenses and diverting funds. Bogus bills of over Rs 65 crore has been reportedly found so far. The investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of tax evasion. Unaccounted cash of Rs 1.8 crores has also been seized and 11 lockers have been placed under prohibitory order during the raid.
Further, it has been unearthed that the said Infrastructure Group/company has entered into dubious circular transactions to the tune of Rs. 175 crore with an infrastructure company based in Jaipur.
Given the evidence, the IT sleuths expanded the scope of their investigation against the actor. As many as 28 premises in Mumbai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurugram were searched during the operation that continued for 3 days.
Along with Sonu Sood, the Income Tax department has also conducted surveys at locations belonging to one Anil Singh, the director of the infrastructure company involved in building expressways in Uttar Pradesh and who is also a close aide of Sonu Sood. The Income Tax Department team had raided Anil Singh’s house and office in Vibhutikhand.
Social media watchdog sheds light on the use of bogus companies by Sonu Sood to allegedly evade taxes
The damning statement by the Income Tax department against Sonu Sood and his aides jibes perfectly well with the discrepancies highlighted by a social media user back in August 2021, who had then asserted that the actor and his associates were involved in dubious transactions through a web of bogus companies that were established for the express purpose of routing money.
This news confirms what we highlighted in Aug in our series of threads. Actor – Sonu Sood Lucknow based Businessman (most likely) – Anil Singh (ex advisor CM Akhilesh Yadav)
In an elaborate Twitter thread, the social media user who goes by the handle @thehawkeyex, shed light on the discrepancies in various companies owned by actor Sonu Sood. In the year 2020, the Twitter user claims, Sonu Sood, who was till then never projected as a businessman, launched not 1 or 2 but 8 new ventures in the span of a year. One of them was Omsai Shakti Sagar Homes LLP, which was partly funded by Anil Singh, the same businessman who is under investigation by the IT department and who had previously worked as an advisor to former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav.
The Twitter user had also highlighted how Sood might have leveraged the positive PR he attracted in the wake of the migrant crisis and got an investment of Rs 250 crores from a Singapore-based investment company in one of his ventures. Later, he quietly exited from the business, the user alleged.
During the migrant crisis, Sood came up with ‘Pravasi Rojgar’ with lots of band-baja through Sood Infotech Pvt Ltd. Within 4 months a Singapore-based investment co. TEMASEK infused INR 250 Cr & then he seemingly soft exited from business. 4/ pic.twitter.com/346DDh8T7u
Similarly, the user also called to attention other murky business ventures launched by Sonu Sood at a time when the country was reeling under a downturn caused by coronavirus-induced lockdowns, claiming that they were established with the sole purpose of perpetrating activities that were in violation of the law of the land.
Sonu Sood says ‘every penny is awaiting its turn to save a life’
The actor, who has since been silent over the raids, finally responded on September 20. In a tweet, Sonu Sood stated that he is committed to serving everyone in India. He added that every penny in the account of his foundation ‘awaiting its turn’ to be used to serve people in need and save lives.”
Two days after Virat Kohli announced that he will step down as the T20 captain after the upcoming World Cup tournament in UAE, it has come to light that several senior players in the dressing room are miffed with the attitude of the ace cricketer, reportedTelegraph.
Virat Kohli has been out of form for quite a long time and has not scored a century in the past 53 innings across Test, ODI or T20s. “His flailing form has affected his decision-making, which is taking a toll on his relationship with the players,” Telegraph claimed. Citing sources, the English daily informed that a senior player had complained to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah against Kohli for making him feel ‘insecure.’
Reportedly, Virat Kohli had accused the unnamed senior cricketer of showing ‘no intent’ during the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton. The source further told The Telegraph, “Kohli is losing control. He has lost respect and some of the players are not liking his attitude. He is no more an inspirational leader and he doesn’t earn the players’ respect. Some of them have reached their limits when it comes to dealing with him…That Kohli failed to play a big innings has also complicated the issue.”
Screengrab of the article by The Telegraph
Telegraph reported that Virat Kohli snapped at one of the coaches when he offered suggestions during practice session at the nets. “Don’t confuse me,” the ace batsman yelled in an aggressive tone. The source emphasised that Virat Kohli has been unable to handle his dismal performance well and its effect had started to reflect in his behaviour. BCCI has been mulling to reduce pressure off the shoulders of Kohli and provide adequate space for him to focus on his batting.
The source informed the English daily that the younger players in the team treat Rohit Sharma as an ‘elder brother’ and have reposed their trust in him. However, this has put the authority of Virat Kohli under challenge. “Virat understands that he no more calls the shots. His powers are on the wane and every move of his will be questioned. There’s no doubt that he is one of the best batsmen in world cricket. But you cannot let leadership burden your batting,” the source told the Telegraph.
Virat Kohli to step down as T20 captain after World Cup
In a statement released on his social media account on September 16, Kohli said, “I’ve decided to step down as the T20 Captain after this T20 World Cup in Dubai in October.” Citing a busy schedule and workload by paying three formats and regularly captaining for over five years, he said that he needed to give himself space to be fully ready to lead the Indian Cricket Team in Test an ODI.
He said, “Understanding workload is a very important thing and considering my immense workload over the last 8-9 years playing all three formats and captaining regularly for last 5-6 years, I feel I need to give myself space to be fully ready to lead the Indian Team in Test and ODI Cricket.”
