While replying in the Rajya Sabha on the discussion on motion of thanks to President’s address, PM Modi said: “Congress members are like those ‘phoophis’ in Indian weddings who are always upset and angry…”

“…Whenever there is a wedding in the house, there is this one phoophi (aunt) who is upset, complaining about everything, it happens in every household. When there is such a big family, one phoophi is bound to be present who is angered over everything,” said PM Modi.

“A lot has been spoken about the farmer’s protest. People have dedicated maximum time talking about the protest, but no one has actually spoken on the real reason behind the protest”, said PM Narendra Modi, taking on the opposition parties for using the ongoing ‘farmers’ agitation for propaganda and petty politics.

The PM also stated that the farm reforms were also talked about during the tenure of former PM Manmohan Singh and the opposition should feel proud that it is Manmohan Singh’s ideas that we have implemented.

The Prime Minister, speaking on the farmer’s agitation, said that there are challenges. But we have to decide whether we want to be part of the problem or the medium of solution.

Lauding the contribution of former PM HD Deve Gowda on the discussions relating to agriculture in the Parliament, PM Modi said that his words have added great perspective to every debate. He has appreciated what the government has done for the farmers and given valuable suggestions as he himself has a strong association with the agriculture sector, said PM Modi.

PM quoted former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh while talking about the farmer’s protest. The adverse conditions faced by small farmers have always effected Charan Singh, he was always worried about them. If we see the statistics, there are more than 12 crore farmers that are almost 86 per cent of the total number of farmers in the country who have less than 2 hectares of agricultural land. “Are we not responsible for these 12 crore farmers,” asked Modi. We need to keep small farmers at the centre of our policies to pay tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh, who is often hailed as the champion of Indian farmers, said the Prime Minister.

‘Pehle the buddhijivi ab hain sirf andolanjivi’: PM Modi takes a dig at Congress party

Taken a dig at the opposition especially Congress, PM Modi said: “Pehle the buddhijivi ab hain sirf andolanjivi (earlier there were intellectuals, now there are only people who survive on protests), said Modi furthering that as elections approach opposition parties starts ranting the loan waiver narrative. Farm loan waivers do not benefit small and marginal farmers. How much ever politics is over loan waivers, the fact is that these small farmers do not have bank accounts nor to they ever apply for loans. So how would farm loan waivers benefit these marginal farmers, asked the PM.

The big farmers have always benefitted from the agricultural reforms but the small farmers have always stayed deprived. The need of the hour is to improve the lives of the small farmers, which Modi Government realised and worked towards it. “Since 2014 we have initiated changes in the agriculture sector aimed at empowering the farmer. The crop insurance scheme was changed to make it more farmer-friendly. The PM-KISAN scheme was also brought in. We are working for small farmers.”

In the last 4-5 years, claims worth Rs 90 thousand crore have been given to farmers under the crop insurance scheme, said Modi.

We have not only brought in the Kisan credit card and have increased its periphery. The Indian fishermen can also eligible for this card and can use its benefits, informed the PM, furthering that this credit card has reached 1.75 crore farmers already. and we are earnestly requesting all state governments to implement the scheme in their respective state so that maximum farmers can benefit out of this the central scheme.

Speaking on the PM Samman Nidhi Yojana, Modi said that until now almost 10 crore farmers have already benefitted from this scheme and had the politics of the ruling dispensation in Bengal not come in between, the Bengal farmers would too be a part of this ambitious scheme through which the central governments has deposited almost Rs 1,15,000 crore in the bank accounts of the marginal farmers associated with this scheme.

The Prime Minister said NDA’s other schemes also help farmers. He cited the PMGSY as an example and said, “When the road connectivity improves, it enables the produce of the farmers to reach distant places. There are efforts like Kisan Rail too. The need of the hour is to improve the lives of the small farmers.”

I am surprised at the sudden U-Turn: PM says quoting Congress leader Manmohan Singh

PM Narendra Modi said in Rajya Sabha, “Sharad Pawar ji, and those from Congress, everyone… all governments have stood for agricultural reforms. Whether they were able to do it or not, but everyone has advocated that it should be done.” However, I am surprised at the sudden U-Turn these parties have taken…”.

“…Here I would like to read out a quote by Congress senior leader and former PM Manmohan Singh. Even if the Congress and other parties do not listen, they will perhaps agree with him”. PM Modi said reading out a quote by Manmohan Singh on the Rajya Sabha: “There are other rigidities because of marketing regime set up in the 1930s which prevent our farmers from selling their produce where they get the highest rate of return…” 

 “…It is our intention to remove all those handicaps which come in the way of India realising its vast potential at one large common market…MSP was there, it is there and it will continue to exist,” PM Narendra Modi quotes the Congress bigwig in Rajya Sabha said.

Taking a further dig at the Congress, PM Modi reiterated that opposition members should be proud that the BJP government is trying to implement what Manmohan Singh had envisioned for the Indian farmers. “Be proud of us”, Modi said with a smile on his face leaving the Rajya Sabha in a cackle.

The amusing part of the entire fiasco is it that those who have been indulging in petty politics over the central government’s farm laws have also implemented it in bits and pieces in places where they have been in power, opined the PM.

Modi invokes Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

Meanwhile, quoting Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, PM Modi said: “Aaj jo mere khaate mainhain, kal Congress netao ke khaate mein bhi wo sab hi tha, left wale us samay bhi wohi bhasha mein virodh karte the”, roughly translated as (whatever the left says about me today, they said the same about the Congress then).

“We’ve forgotten the ideals of Netaji. We’ve started cursing ourselves. I sometimes get surprised, the world gives us a term and we start following it – ‘Largest democracy of the world’ – it feels good to hear this but we didn’t teach our youth that India is the mother of democracy. India’s nationalism is neither narrow nor selfish and not even aggressive. This is inspired by the values of ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. This quotation was given by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,” PM Modi furthered in the upper house.

Reiterating that his government is always open for discussions, PM Modi said: “MSP tha, MSP hai aur MSP rahega” (MSP was, is and will always be there).

Stressing that protesting is farmers’ right, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to them to go back. “We want to assure that MSP system won’t be done away with. Our government is open to talks,” said the Prime Minister in his address in the Rajya Sabha.

Uttar Pradesh: 3 kids tortured, mother, tutor killed by ‘amma’ Uma and ‘tailor uncle’ Mohammed Sonu

On Saturday night, the Masuri police apprehended two accused, namely, Mohammed Sonu and Uma Singh for the torture of three children and murder of a teenager and a woman at Saraswati Vihar locality in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

As per reports, the victims have been identified as Dolly Thakur (32) and Anshu Kumari (16). Dolly, a resident of Saraswati Vihar, was at her house with her three children. Anshu, an Std IX student and a private tutor, was teaching the three children at the time of the incident. The accused Uma, who happens to be a distant relative of Dolly, had planned to rob the victim along with her boyfriend Mohammed Sonu.

The duo visited Dolly’s house at 8:30 pm on Saturday and engaged the victim in a conversation. After having tea, they bolted the doors from inside and overpowered Dolly at the gunpoint. Sonu then shot Dolly in her abdomen and the teenager Anshu in the head using a .32 calibre pistol. The accused then tried to kill a 5-year-old Rudra and his two nine-year-old sisters, namely, Gauri and Minakshi. However, Sonu’s gun got jammed and he instead resorted to brutal torture of the three children.

Case registered against the accused, one victim in a critical state

The culprit inflicted near-fatal injuries to the children with a screwdriver, followed by a grinding stone and a knife. Uma and Sonu then fled the crime scene, leaving them badly injured. Dolly’s husband Mahesh Thakur and her father-in-law returned home at 9:30 pm from work, only to find her dead and the three children in an injured state. They then registered a complaint at the Masuri police station. A seperate complaint was also registered by Dolly’s family.

A case was thus lodged by the cops against unidentified people under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 380 (theft), 394 (hurt caused during a robbery), 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property), and relevant sections of the Arms Act. The children were rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Nehru Nagar for medical treatment. Doctors informed that the 9-year-old Minakshi is in a critical state while Rudra and Gauri are stable.

Accused Uma arrested from her residence

SP (rural) Iraj Raja informed, “The most important clue was given by one of the two girls who told that ‘Amma’ (referring to Uma Singh) had visited the house. The children used to call the suspect woman with this name.” They also referred to Mohammed Sonu as ‘tailor uncle’.

Meanwhile, the police raided Uma’s house in Lal Quarter locality where she confessed to her crime. “Dolly was the granddaughter of my mother-in-law and her children called me ‘Amma’. We had been planning the robbery for long. Saturday night we went to Dolly’s house and also had tea there. Sonu later locked them in a room and he first shot dead the teenaged girl and then Dolly. Then, he picked up knife and grinding stone from the kitchen and hit the children,” she said in a video statement.

Cops nab Mohammed Sonu following an encounter

Unlike Uma, Mohammed Sonu had been planning to flee Ghaziabad. A total of five police teams were deployed to nab him. On Sunday, when he was spotted by the cops near Dasna, the accused open-fired at them. Sonu was injured in his leg, following a retaliatory fine by the police. The cops then recovered stolen cash, jewellery, a pistol and pressed charges against the two accused. The police said that the case would be fastracked and the testimonies of the children would be crucial in the case.

Twitter’s Public Policy Director for India and South Asia, Mahima Kaul, recently resigned from her post to reportedly focus on her personal life. However, her departure from microblogging site has not gone down too well with her fans, who are trending hashtags on Twitter demanding she returns.

Piyush Mishra, National Spokesperson, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has been very upset.

In fact, he took it upon himself to get the hashtag in support of Kaul trended.

He even tweeted to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to not accept Mahima Kaul’s resignation.

Joining Mishra were Congress leaders.

Who, for mysterious reasons, had tagged some Gurpreet Walia, who identifies himself as a ‘journalist’ and was also trending the same hashtag demanding Kaul’s return to Twitter. However, he even claimed that he started the hashtag trend and urged his followers to turn their fingers into Jharkhand.

Walia is a ‘journalist’ associated with TV24.

One Juhie Singh, Samajwadi Party spokesperson, also joined in.

As did Aam Aadmi Party leaders and various other profiles with ‘social media activists’ in their bio who regularly tweet on multiple hashtags through the day. Kaul, however, does not seem to have paid any heed to the appeals.

In 2018, few weeks after Twitter chief Jack Dorsey had admitted that his employees have a left-leaning bias, Kaul had started deleting her own tweets which exposed her own political bias.

Yesterday we reported that the Mumbai police’s Property Cell of the Crime Branch had arrested actress and model Gehana Vasisth for her alleged role in shooting and uploading porn videos on her website. Mumbai police arrested the actor after it received complaints from at least three more victims who said that they were forced into doing porn films.

Reports suggest that Gehana Vasisth aka Vandana Tiwari lured new and struggling actors who were seeking to make a career in the entertainment industry. She would pay them Rs 15,000-20,000 to work for her movies, said a police officer privy to the case.

So far, Gehana has shot 87 pornographic videos and uploaded them on her websites, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror. People have to pay subscription fees of up to Rs 2000 to watch the content. Police seized three bank account associated with the racket with an Rs.36 lakh balance that they had generated through the subscription of the apps. The police also recovered six mobile phones, a camera and related equipment, a laptop, memory cards and 5.68 lakh in cash.

Based on a series of complaints, a team of crime branch raided Green Park bungalow at Madh Island in Malad and raided several people, including Yasmin Beg Khan alias Rowa (producer and director), Pratibha Nalawade (graphic designer), Monu Gopaldas Joshi (actor), Bhanusuryam Thakur (assistant) and Mohammed Asif alias Saify (cameraman).

Reportedly, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act and Female Subliminal Form Prohibition Act. All accused have been sent to custody till February 10.

Meanwhile, calling her innocent, a statement issued by Gehana’s press and legal team said that her business rivals were falsely implicating her. “Gehana Vasisth aka Vandana Tiwari is totally innocent. She is not involved in any porn film racket…She is being trapped or made a victim by vested interests and business competitors who are out to defame her. As the producer and director of her company GV Studios, she has only produced and directed films that are permissible in law and at most can be classified or categorized as ‘Erotica.”

“Unfortunately, Mumbai Police, which is otherwise the best police force in the world has mixed up and clubbed together Gehena’s Erotica film making work with hard porn and hard porn makers in India”, said the model turned actor’s legal team furthering that they have full faith in the judiciary and the Indian legal system. 

“There is a legal difference between Erotica or sensual or bold films and hard core porn, but unfortunately, we are really saddened by the fact that the cops have clubbed both together. We hope the courts will identify the difference and give Gehana justice in the coming days,” her legal team was quoted as saying by media.

‘India is the prime target of China’s political warfare’: New book on CCP’s functioning lays bare Beijing’s evil strategy against New Delhi

A new book “Political Warfare: Strategies for Combating China’s Plan to Win without Fighting” [pdf] by Kerry K. Gershaneck reveals the nefarious designs the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) is up to against India. The book states that India is the prime target of CCP’s wicked political warfare and the attack against New Delhi would keep continuing if China perceives India as a contender to its regional dominance in the Indo-Pacific region and poses a threat to its supply chains.

The book sheds light on the “all-encompassing, unrestricted warfare” unleashed by China against the countries it deems are working against its interests. The CCP will employ, the book states, all its might in weakening India, from funding the foreign NGOs working against the Indian interests to funding mobs to create anarchy in the country such as stirring an insurrection at the Taiwanese manufacturing plant in Bengaluru.

CCP employs a host of warfare strategies to undermine its opponents

CCP employs an array of political warfare strategies such as economic warfare, biological and chemical warfare, cyberattacks, terrorism, public opinion/media warfare, psychological warfare, espionage, bribery, censorship, deception, subversion, blackmail, “enforced disappearances”, street violence, assassination, use of proxy forces, public diplomacy, and other hybrid warfare.

The book describes China as a “coercive, expansionist, hyper-nationalistic, militarily powerful, brutally repressive, fascist, and totalitarian state”, and gives an insight into the functioning of the Communist Party of China and its devious tactics to pressurise its opponents. One of the elements that CCP extensively uses is to get people to exercise self-censorship by instilling the fear of offending a “billion” Chinese.

The book draws on a wide range of sources and interviews and describes in-depth how the political warfare of China is pervasive, highly structured, and intricately complex. Large budgets are being allocated by the CCP to carry out political warfare operations. In 2015, the budget for influence operations alone was estimated at $10 billion, which has only increased since then. According to a report published by the FDD, Stanford University has reportedly received $32,244,826 in monetary gifts from China during the last six years, and Harvard had received $55,065,261 through a combination of contracts and monetary gifts.

Political warfare traits exhibited by CCP

Besides, it also explains in detail the traits of political warfare used by the People’s Republic of China to achieve its ends. China, apparently, has a powerful central command that overlooks the political warfare operations. A clear, cogent and unambiguous strategy and vision are laid down for the employment of the political warfare operations. Both, overt and covert means to persuade, dissuade, intimidate, divide, and subvert are used, to force rival countries into acquiescence or compliance.

What aids China in carrying out political warfare against countries it perceives as its enemies is a tight control over its own domestic populace. By having a firm grip on the local population, the CCP uses the propaganda to engender patriotic sentiment and discredit the opponents. China’s uses of warfare against the rival countries is not scattershot or arbitrarily carried out. They use a comprehensive array of political warfare tools to a serious degree of coordination. And lastly, China is also acutely aware and well-prepared to accept the high-level of risks resulting from the exposure to political warfare activities.

Measures countries need to undertake to counter China’s all-encompassing political warfare

In order to save itself from the vile machinations of the CCP, and the complex warfare it has put into practice, Gershaneck has recommended India to set up an Asian political warfare centre of excellence to develop a common understanding of PRC political warfare threats and promote the development of a comprehensive, whole-of-government response at national levels in countering PRC and other political warfare threats.

This includes: “Discussions among like-minded nations, investigate political warfare operations directed at democracies, training and scenario exercises, research and analysis into countering PRC political warfare, etc, Typical participants would be practitioners, scholars, policymakers, [parliamentary] staff, journalists, strategists, campaign planners, legal specialists, and selected civil servants as well as foreign service, military, intelligence, and law enforcement officers.”

The author of the book warns that China is facing little resistance to its political warfare and its aim of winning the fight without fighting. If the world is to stop China in its tracks, the book argues, then countries who are the target of Beijing’s multiple warfare campaign such as India, the United States and others, need to develop a national strategy to counter political warfare, establish national institutes to counter China’s propaganda war, be forthright about threats emanating from PRC and have better analytical, investigative, and legal training for those with these responsibilities to screen, track, and expose political warfare activities.

The Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra is all set to launch a probe on the tweets posted by Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Ajay Devgn and other celebrities after the Indian celebrities shared concerns about a global propaganda to tarnish India’s image under the pretext of the so-called farmer protests.

The Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday said that tweets of celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Suniel Shetty, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, and others will be investigated by the Maharashtra Intelligence agency to ascertain if they were made under some pressure by the Modi government or the celebrities genuinely wanted to support the centre on the Farm Laws.

Apparently, the Maharashtra government believes that showing support to one’s own country against a global propaganda is questionable activity and needs an investigation.

Deshmukh claims that there were stark similarities in the tweets posted by the celebrities which hinted that it was a planned and coordinated move. The Maharashtra Home Minister said it is for this reason that the tweets posted by eminent personalities belonging to various walks of life will be investigated by the state intelligence agency.

Congress claims pushback by celebrities against Rihanna’s tweet a result of Centre’s pressure

The pushback against Rihanna came under scanner after Maharashtra Congress had sought an investigation into whether the celebrities were ‘pressurised by BJP’ to show support for their own country. Earlier today, the leaders had an online meeting with Mr Desmukh, who has tested Covid positive and is currently in isolation.

Yesterday, Maharashtra Congress leader Sachin Sawant had stated that he would ask the State Home Minister to launch a thorough probe into the matter to determine if the celebrities were working at the behest of the central government.

“There is a similar pattern behind these tweets by the celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, sportspersons Sachin Tendulkar, Saina Nehwal. The contents of the tweets by Nehwal and Kumar are the same while Shetty had tagged a BJP leader. This shows that there was communication between the celebrities and the ruling party leaders. It needs to be investigated if there was any pressure from the BJP on these national heroes for such advocacy on social media. If so, these celebrities need to be given more protection,” he said.

Rihanna’s tweet on Farmers’ Protest triggers a fierce pushback from Indian celebrities

Rihanna’s unwarranted tweet sparked a massive row, raising aspersions on the foreign involvement in stoking tensions in India. Following Rihanna’s tweet, several other global celebrities too made unsolicited remarks on the demonstrations, after which the Indian celebrities came out and took a stand against the global smear campaign launched against India.

Prominent personalities such as Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Kailash Kher and several others had extended their support to the Farm Laws and called for unity in the light of comments made by several international figures, including singer Rihanna and activist Greta Thunberg, over the ongoing farmers’ protests. 

The pushback from the celebrities came after the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement, wherein it said that “vested interest groups” were trying to enforce their agenda on the protests to derail them and said that these groups were trying to mobilise global support against India. The statement also referred to “sensationalist social media hashtags and comments” by “celebrities and others” but didn’t name anyone in particular.

PM Modi warns against ‘Foreign Destructive Ideology’: How global powers have used NGOs and protests to undermine nations

In his Motion of Thanks address in the Rajya Sabha today, PM Modi took a direct aim at foreign actors attempting to influence India. PM Modi called out the ‘Foreign Destructive Ideology’ attempting to harm the country and stressed on the need to safeguard India against it. The address from the PM comes days after the leak of Greta Files, which exposed attempts from abroad to influence protests in India.

PM Modi also took aim at what he describes as a new class of activists named, ‘Andolan Jeevi’. PM Modi said, “There is a full team of activists which is Andolan Jeevi, they cannot live without protesting, and they find ways to live through protests”. He accused such activists of trying to mislead the public. PM Modi then cautioned the country to safeguard itself from these ‘Andolan Jeevis’.

“All these Andolan Jeevis are parasites”, the PM declared in the Rajya Sabha, even invoking opposition support against them. PM Modi then alerted Indians to the threat of foreign ideologies which could be destructive to India’s ethos. PM Modi warned that as India moves forward on the path of development, a new type of FDI, Foreign Destructive Ideology, threatens to harm India. PM Modi then highlighted the need for awareness to combat this Foreign Destructive Ideology targeting India.

PM Modi’s remarks can be observed with the backdrop of the ‘Farmer Protests’, which have rocked the country for over three months. This is especially true since the PM’s remarks come just days after the Greta Leaks that exposed the Khalistani hands behind the global campaign. The infamous leak consisted of a toolkit, accidently tweeted by Greta Thunberg, which exposed the foreign role in promoting protests on Indian soil.

PM Modi’s comments about Foreign Destructive Ideology reveals that there is a concerted foreign effort to influence Indian politics from abroad. For the PM to refer to a team of perpetual protestors and a destructive foreign ideology conjunctively, should ring alarm bells.

In International Politics, it is not rare for a hegemon or a strong power to influence the politics and policies of other nations. There are different ways in which this can be done, including military invasion and regime change. However, a new method is now emerging as more popular. This method is known as a “Color Revolution”.

A “Color Revolution” refers to a type of coordinated attack that western powers have been known to deploy against other countries, particularly in Eastern Europe that are deemed to be “authoritarian” and hostile to American interests. Rather than a direct military intervention to topple a regime as in Iraq, Color Revolutions attack foreign governments by contesting their electoral legitimacy, orchestrating mass protests and acts of civil disobedience, and leveraging media contacts to ensure favorable coverage in the Western press.

The overarching objective is to ensure the installation of a government that will uphold western interests. What India is going through right now may not be a Color Revolution, but it certainly resembles one. All the hallmarks of a Color Revolution are present in India. There are constant attempts to paint India as an authoritarian state which discriminates against minorities in the Western Press. Election Legitimacy is questioned by opposition parties every time BJP secures a victory.

Mass protests and acts of Civil Disobedience are promoted heavily with wall to wall sympathetic coverage as in the case of Farmers Protest. All of these maneuvers are straight out of the Color Revolution playbook.

With respect to the Farmers Protest, PM Modi’s comments highlight what was already out in the open. There exists a strong network of national and international NGOs and Multi-National Corporations, whose hierarchy is dominated by liberals and leftists. These NGOs play a crucial role in fomenting discontent, with the full help of social media and the mainstream press and set the narrative to favor their goals.

Their goals are multi-faceted, but one of the main goals is to turn India from a traditional, God-fearing society to a soulless, godless, consumerist country. This goal can only be achieved if Liberalism reaches a critical mass in India, which will mean the death of families, therefore a death of society. This form of militant Liberalism is called Neoliberalism.

This perverse ideology has caused the deaths of millions and destroyed entire nations including Iraq, Libya, Syria among others. Neoliberalism argues in favor of Democracy promotion, which practically means toppling a dictator and installing a new government which is subservient to the West. And if the target is not a dictator and is a democratically elected leader, his government will be painted as authoritarian.

PM Modi’s warning against Foreign Destructive Ideology could not have come at a better time, with the attention of the country towards the ‘Farmer Protests’. Nationalists in India should heed the PM’s advice and raise awareness about various types of foreign influence.

Just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke in Rajya Sabha, a disturbing fact came to the fore. Wikipedia was up to its shenanigans again. Akhilesh Mishra, the CEO of Bluekraft Digital Foundation took to Twitter to expose a problematic edit to the Wikipedia page of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The last line that Akhilesh Mishra referred to as a problematic edit read, “Described as engineering a political realignment towards right-wing politics, Modi remains a figure of controversy domestically and internationally over his Hindu nationalist beliefs and his alleged role during the 2002 Gujarat riots, cited as evidence of an exclusionary social agenda.[f] Under Modi’s tenure, India has experienced democratic backsliding.[g]“.

What is of specific interest for the purpose of this article, is the addition of the sentence, “Under Modi’s tenure, India has experienced democratic backsliding”.

Upon analysing the edit history of the page, one realises that this particular sentence was last edited by a Wikipedia editor called “Jonmaxras”. According to history, he has ‘linked’ references to the sentence about ‘democratic backsliding under Modi’.

This would essentially mean that the user added certain link backs and references to the claim on the 4th of February.

Jonmaxras is a user who claims that he makes edits about ‘far-Right politics’, specifically in the USA. This claim has been included in his own bio.

That Jonmaxras claims to be interested in US politics of the ‘far-right’, is given credence by one of his edits. He had removed an exception another user had taken about his edits to the page of Gab – a social media platform that was started by Trump supporters after Twitter indulged in widespread suppression of their freedom of expression.

This comment by Jonmaxras was ‘removed’ by him citing ‘harassment’. Essentially, he claimed that the user was who criticising his supposedly motivated edit to the Gab page was ‘harassing’ Jobmaxras by bringing up the criticism.

Interestingly, Jonmaxrus had also cleared his entire talk page, essentially, attempting to remove his entire history of discussions, as if, he had something to hide.

While earlier we could track the IP addresses of editors, that itself seems to have been masked now.

Eventhough there is plenty of evidence that this user is enthusiastic about “far-right politics” and hence, aligns with ANTIFA in the US, the folly of Wikipedia itself is that all edits are made by anonymous individuals and thus, they are often not answerable to the law of the land. Now, if this user is indeed based in the USA, he can just as easily make edits contrary to India’s interests and subvert the law of the land.

The role of Jonmaxrus in this edit is indeed suspicious, however, upon digging further, one realises that this specific edit was a part of the larger plan that came into effect from 24th of December itself.

If one checks the history behind the discussion pertaining to this specific edit, this is what one lands upon:

Discussion about motivated edit to Wikipedia page of PM Modi

This segment appears on the ‘talk page’ of the Wikipedia profile of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is an archive of the ‘discussion’ that was undertaken by the editors to figure out whether that sentence should be added to his profile or not.

The survey about whether this particular edit should be displayed on Prime Minister Modi’s page was started by a user Snooganssnoogans way back on 24th December 2020. He even provided references to back his claim about democracy backsliding under PM Modi. Unsurprisingly, all those references were from foreign publications that have shown racial, religious and political bias against India.

If one studies the ‘survey’ closely, where they reached a consensus to add this edit to the page of PM Modi, one sees that it was 7-8 editors who essentially decided that the edit was a ‘neutral’ addition to the profile of the Prime Minister.

It is essential to note that the consensus was built eventually that this sentence about democracy backsliding was an established fact and just something that was being said by his critics. Hence, it was 7-8 editors who independently decided that democracy in India is under threat and that, it is an undisputed fact and not just the opinion of those who are critics of PM Modi. It is also essential to note that all of these editors are completely anonymous and there is simply no way for the average user to truly track them down. These users could be sitting in the USA, Pakistan, Saudi or even prison.

One of the editors, however, does distinctly appear to be from India. Editor Vanamonde93, who agreed that is an undisputed fact, however, wanted to change the terminology from ‘backsliding’ to something far easier to understand has a history of creating pages that specifically targets BJP and Hindus.

For example, in the Godhra Train burning article, which talks about Hindus being burnt alive by Muslims, Vanamonde93 specifically removes edits that mentions the names of the ones convicted for burning Hindus alive.

There are several such edits that expose the bias of user Vanamonde93 and evidence that he may be based out of India, given his large history of Left oriented edits and anti-Hindu stand.

Another user, interestedly, seems to be completely aligned to the left. user Snooganssnoogans, who we spoke about earlier, has been accused of stalking other editors to ensure that their edits are reversed to ensure that readers get a sanitised version of facts for leaders like Barack Obama. It is to be kept in mind that it was this user who started a consensus discussion about whether the edit about democracy backsliding under Modi should be added to his Wikipedia profile.

It is rather evident that this particular edit on Wikipedia is the handiwork of 7-8 anonymous editors who clearly have a pronounced ideological bias. While the suspicion is that one or more of these editors could be based in the USA and one at least seems to be based in India, there is no way to prove their locations at this point in time.

The left-wing bias of the platform is well documented. Wikipedia has been waging a war against OpIndia as well due to ideological reasons. It is not a new claim as even the co-founder of Wikipedia, Larry Sanger has written extensively about the bias in Wikipedia.

On Saturday, during a meeting of the Standing Committee on Health in light of the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic in Canada, Conservative Party MP Michelle Rempel Garner quizzed the Minister of Public Services and Procurement Anita Anand about the state of the vaccination programme in the country.

“Has the Minister or the Prime Minister (Justin Trudeau) phoned PM Modi to get vaccines from India?” the Conservative MP put forth a direct question. While trying to evade it, MP Anita Anand replied, “I am in regular communication with organisations and countries around the world to secure doses of additional vaccines.”

MP Garner further prodded, “Have you phoned Prime Minister Modi?” MP Anand replied, “I personally have not phoned PM Modi and I cannot speak for anyone else in the government.”MP Garner inquired, “Does the Minister know if the Prime Minister (Justin Trudeau) has reached out to the Indian government?” MP Anita Anand replied, “I do not know. Thank you.”

It is notable here that India, as the largest vaccine producer in the world, has been sending consignments of millions of doses of coronavirus vaccines to friendly nations. Several nations worldwide have also shown interest to commercially procure the cheap and easy to store vaccines produced by Indian companies.

Justin Trudeau and his support for the anti-farm law protests

The Trudeau government in Canada is known for pandering to Khalistani elements to keep its vote bank of pro-Khalistani Sikh Canadians happy. Time and again, Trudeau himself has extended support to causes that are espoused by the Khalistani elements, the latest being the protests by certain farmer leaders of Punjab.

In a statement, Trudeau had said, “I would be remiss if I didn’t start also by recognizing the news coming out of India about the protests by farmers. The situation is concerning. And we all are very worried about family and friends; I know that’s a reality for many of you. Let me remind you. Canada will always be ready to defend the right to peaceful protest. We believe in the importance of dialogue and that’s why we reached out to multiple means directly to Indian authorities to highlight our concerns.”

Canada updates 2018 report on terror to remove reference of Khalistanis

In April 2019, the Canadian government modified the 2018 Public Report on the Terrorist Threat to Canada and removed the mention of Sikh extremism from the report. Giving in to the pressure from the Sikh community in Canada, the Canadian government removed the reference to the Sikh religion and changed it to “extremists who support violent means to establish an independent state within India”. The report which was earlier released in December last year had mentioned the Sikh extremism as a threat to Canada.

In the 2018 report, the terminology Sikh (Khalistani) terrorism was used for the first time and it was referred to as a “concern”. The had listed two terrorist organisations in the 2018 report namely, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and  International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF).

The Liberal Party’s support for the Khalistan movement has intensified ever since the rise of Canadian MP Khalistan supporter Jagmeet Singh to national politics. Singh, who formed his own New Democratic Party, posed a threat to Justin Trudeau’s Sikh vote bank.

Jagmeet Singh has been under the radar of Indian Intelligence agencies for not only sheltering pro-Khalistani sympathisers in Canada but also for leading an anti-Indian movement more vociferously in the Americas, especially after the abrogation of Article 370. According to a dossier prepared by the Indian intelligence officials in October 2019, Jagmeet Singh, the Leader of Canada’s second-largest party, remains a ”pro-Khalistani and a pro-Pakistani” ringleader in the country despite his deep Punjabi roots.

It is being suspected that Canadian top politician Jagmeet Singh, who is notoriously known for supporting Khalistan separatism, could be behind Rihanna’s anti-Indian propaganda. Hours after Rihanna posted a tweet intervening in India’s affairs, controversial Canadian lawmaker Jagmeet Singh took to Twitter to hail Rihanna for consistently ‘uplifting and empowering the voices of the oppressed.’

In an interview just before Canadian elections in 2019, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh had boasted about how Rihanna had followed him on Instagram. Speaking on the same, the controversial lawmaker had claimed that he had received a text from the pop-singer on Instagram too. Social media users are now pointing out that Jagmeet Singh may have used his political clout to convince Rihanna to put a tweet in support of the alleged ‘farmer’ protests, which have been hijacked by the pro-Khalistan elements. He has also offered to pay for the desserts of Amanda Cerny and Mia Khalifa for their support to anti-farm law protests.

Justin Trudeau, Khalistan and the endangering the lives of Canadian citizens

The decision of the Justin Trudeau-led-Liberal Party government in Canada, to not approach the Indian government for procuring vaccines, is concerning. This is despite the fact that the country has witnessed 8.04 Coronavirus cases and 20,767 fatalities (as of February 8, 2020).

Although Sikhs constitute about 1% population in Canada, they wield political influence in several key constituencies. With the growing support for the Khalistan movement in the country, Justin Trudeau and his party have often encouraged the radical Sikh extremists vowing to secede Punjab from the Indian territory. His party had been harbouring prominent Khalistan supporters, including the former Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry Navdeep Bhains.

Despite India being the largest vaccine producer currently producing the cheapest and most easy-to-store vaccines for a large number of population, the reluctance of Justin Trudeau to not approach the Indian government speaks a lot about the priorities of the Canadian government. While Trudeau emerges as the poster boy for the Canadian Khalistanis, the lives of common Canadians remain threatened especially in the second wave of the pandemic in the country.

In your school, your office or housing society, you must have come across donation drives to help people when a big calamity happens. Such as a flood or an earthquake. People want to help others in need. It’s a fundamental human emotion. Now imagine if you found somebody dipping his hand into the donation box and taking stuff. How would you feel towards them?

No, not somebody who is poor. Imagine if the one taking from the donation box is the richest guy in your housing society, or the big boss at the office. Would you be filled with disgust? You should.

But if you are a liberal, your morality probably works in a completely different manner.

What happened? Well, the World Health Organization had established an international fund called Covax. As the Canadian government mouthpiece CBC admits:

“COVAX is a global vaccine-sharing initiative jointly co-ordinated by the World Health Organization, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.”

Sharing. You know, the essence of every big moral lecture from every liberal ever. It makes sense too, at least in this case. The pandemic affected all of humanity. It started somewhere in China (this claim will soon be marked as “disputed” by Big Tech and ‘independent’ fact checkers) and spread rapidly across the whole world. The pandemic broke every barrier of race, country and class. It reminded us that we humans are all in this together.

So now that we have a vaccine, we should share, right? Not everybody lives in a country that manufactures vaccines or is rich enough to buy them. That’s why the WHO came up with this:

“The program pools funds from wealthier countries that are used not only to buy vaccines for those countries but also to ensure low- and middle-income countries have access. … Once vaccines are approved by WHO, AMC funds will then pay for the purchase of vaccines for lower-income countries. So, the participation of wealthier countries is part of the program’s design.”

It’s exactly like a donation drive at your housing society. They placed the donation box in the middle, where everyone could see it. In principle, anybody could take from the donation box, rich or poor. They were counting on the honor system and human decency: The rich were supposed to give and the poor were supposed to take.

Bad mistake! Liberals have no sense of honor, nor shame, nor decency. And so the Canadian government comes right in, puts its hand into the donation box and takes. And thus, Canada becomes the only wealthy G-7 country to take from this pool.

Now, if you ask the Canadian government, they did nothing wrong. They say they contributed $440 million to the fund in September last year. Now they are withdrawing half of that money to buy vaccines for themselves (for now).

Imagine giving a hungry person a chapati. Then grabbing his hand and tearing off half of that chapati before he can eat it. And then eating it as the hungry person watches. Do you know what that is? You could call it sadism. But how about we just call it liberalism?

These are the great liberal values that Indian elites want us to learn from the Canadian government. Apparently, Justin Trudeau cannot sleep because our police used water cannon on protesters around Delhi.

What else keeps Trudeau up at night? The idea that hundreds of millions of poor people around the world, would get vaccinated. He just had to grab some of the money meant for them. Note that most of the beneficiaries of this program would have been people of colour. The wokeness and liberalism is just off the charts on this one.

If you are an ordinary bhakt like me, you are not surprised. We told you so. The per capita GDP of Canada is $40,000. But at the WTO, Canada has been opposing a transfer of a measly sum of Rs 6000 per year (just $80) to small and marginal farmers in India. It’s what liberals do. They take from the poor and they give to the rich. They just do it with a smile.

If you are an Indian elite, puffed up with the recent support of the Canadian PM, it is time for you to take a pause. And explain to the rest of us what your liberalism really means.

If you are a protester at Singhu border, please think again. The Canadian government does not care about you. The Canadian Prime Minister is only using you as a pawn to harvest Khalistani votes back in his country. This is our country, our people and our legitimately elected government. Let’s engage with each other, with love and respect, without involving foreigners. Because nobody will care about you except your own.

Never have I been more proud to be a Hindu and not a liberal. We are not a rich country like Canada. But India is making vaccines for the world. We are even giving away lakhs of doses for free.

The other day, Rihanna got her 100 million followers to hate India. Incidentally, Rihanna is from Barbados. On almost the same day, India received an official letter of thanks from the Prime Minister of Barbados. The country of Barbados has 2.8 lakh people and 1 lakh of them just received free vaccines from India.

Rihanna doesn’t care about her old country. She is rich. She is liberal.

But we do! While she makes millions of dollars defaming India, we send free vaccines to her old country. We wish everyone well. May the people of Barbados live long, be healthy and prosper. Sarve bhavantu sukhina, sarve santu niraamaya. It’s the Hindu way.

By the way, there was just one other rich country shameless enough to take from this international fund to help the poor. That was New Zealand led by Jacinda Arden. The other great icon of Indian liberals.

Don’t count on Indian liberals to have any shame.
