Andhra Pradesh: Seer Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy to begin yatras over continued attacks on temples in the state

Amidst the ongoing attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh, renowned Hindu spiritual leader Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has decided to undertake a yatra from January 17 to temples that were vandalised in the recent past.

According to the reports, Seer Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has decided to start a yatra to seek protection for Hindu religious places.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, the seer expressed his disappointment over the continued attacks on temples and mentioned that over 50 temples have faced attacks in recent months. He also said that in a temple in Singarayakonda, the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy idol was damaged and asked authorities to ensure that there will be no such attacks in the coming days.

He also demanded strict action against miscreants who vandalised the temples and sought a committee of intelligence department officials to conduct a transparent inquiry. He also questioned the government over non-installation of CCTVs at the temples despite orders. He said that security flaws were exposed at temples in the recent attacks and urged the government to provide a strong security system.

In the press meet, Seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy said that he will meet local leaders to finalise future plan of action and added that he will be consulting with the village elders, Hindu religious leaders and temple associates.

The seer said he will not remain silent when there is a threat to the very existence of temples. He further said that if churches or mosques were attacked, there would be a worldwide condemnation and retaliation and also deplored the lukewarm reaction to temple attacks.

He objected to political parties involving themselves in religious matters. The seer also said he had nothing to do with politics and did not want to blame anyone, including the government for the attacks.

A series of temple attacks in Andhra Pradesh

Attacks on Hindus and its temples in the state of Andhra Pradesh are continuously increasing. In a short span, several temples have been reportedly vandalized by the miscreants. From destroying idols to burning century-old chariots, a lot has happened in Andhra Pradesh.

On December 30, in another case of temple vandalization in Andhra Pradesh, the miscreants had targeted the famous Ramatheertham in Vizianagaram district and desecrated 400-year-old idol of Bhagwan Ram. The priest had found that the idol of Bhagwan Ram was desecrated by unknown assailants when he reached the ancient Sita Lakshmana Kodandarama temple on the Bodikonda hillock in Ramatheertham. The idol was ‘beheaded’ and broken to pieces, the pieces were thrown into a nearby pond.

Just a few days after Ramatheertham incident, the idol of Goddess Sita was found vandalised near Pandit Nehru bus stop in the Sitaram Temple in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The incident came to light days after idols of Lord Subrahmanya and Shri Ram were similarly found damaged in the state.

On January 1, a Lord Subrahmanya murti in Lord Vigneshwara temple was found desecrated in Rajahmundry district. The priest of the Vigneshwara temple found the murti of Lord Subrahmanya desecrated with two severed limbs of the murti lying on the ground.

Not just it, there have been several attacks on temples in Andhra Pradesh over last few years. Last year alone, more than five temples have been vandalised and burnt down by miscreants. The YSRCP government has been facing severe criticism for failing to prevent attacks on Hindu temples.

Canada politician allegedly flouts visa norms by attending Punjab farmers protests at Kundli border: Read details

Even as Khalistani-elements, far-left protestors and Islamists have hijacked the so-called farmer protests in the country against the three farm laws, there seems to be more foreign interference into the political protests that are being carried out against the Modi government.

On Saturday, Ramandeep Brar, a political leader from Conservative Party of Canada, joined the protestors at the Kundli village along the Haryana-Delhi border, where thousands of protestors have camped by for over a month now to protest against the agricultural reforms initiated by the Modi government.

Taking to Twitter, Ramandeep Brar, an MP candidate from Brampton in Ontario, shared a series of images from the protest site. In his tweet, he mentioned how he met a few protestors including one person named Dr Sukhpreet Singh Udhoke. His Twitter geo-tagging stated that he was present at the Kundli border, one of the sites where protestors have camped currently.

Canada politician Ramandeep Brar interfering in Indian politics by joining protests against Modi govt

Shockingly, Brar, who does not have any locus-standi on the issue, joined the protest to express his solidarity with the farmers who have launched a political protest against the Indian government. The Canadian politician has now waded into the dangerous territory of interfering and influencing country’s politics by taking sides of a political group that is protesting against the democratically elected government.

Here are the screenshots of Ramandeep Brar’s social media accounts, where he has clearly disclosed his political career in Canada.

Several questions are now being raised on social media pertaining to the presence of Canada politician at the protest site in an alleged effort to influence the political protests. Netizens have pointed out how the Canada politician has violated visa rules by joining a political protest.

Social media activist ‘Befitting facts’ also noted the violation of visa rules by Brar by attending a protest in Delhi. He also urged the government to arrest him and detain at Tihar jail.

Another user too asked how can a Canada citizen participate in a protest rally in India and pointed how he has violated visa on counts such as interfering India’s internal affairs and also violating visa rules especially at a time when the country is fighting the COVID pandemic.

By interfering into India’s political protests, Ramandeep Brar has clearly violated visa norms. Addition to the visa guidelines laid out by the MHAforeign nationals shall be required to strictly adhere to the purpose of visit declared while submitting the visa application. The foreign citizens on specific visas are not supposed to indulge in political activities and activities that account for spreading of religious conversions, etc.

The ‘Right to Protest’ under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution is a fundamental right of the country’s citizen. However, the specific right is only available to Indian citizens and not to any foreigners. Thus, Brar was violating his visa norms by joining political protests against the government.

The government, if found any violation can cancel the visa granted to Ramandeep Brar and ask him to leave the country just as it did for a few foreign protestors who violated visa rules during the Anti-CAA protests in various parts of the country.

Canada’s interference in India’s domestic matter

In December, when the Punjab farmers’ protests had just started, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his ministers ‘raised concerns’ regarding the same. Following that, India had summoned the Canadian High Commissioner and was informed that Canada’s interference is unacceptable. The MEA said that such actions, if continued, would have a damaging impact on ties between India and Canada.

Trudeau’s virtue signalling on Punjab farmers protest was a bit ironic considering his administration itself has used brute force to suppress protests by indigenous tribes in Canada.

PFI raised money, used hawala channels to run terror training camps in Kerala: ED

In a money-laundering investigation being carried out against the Muslim extremist organisation Popular Front of India (PFI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleged yesterday that the outfit had raised substantial funds to organise terrorist training camps in Kerala. The ED filed a statement in a special court for Prevention of Money Laundering Act opposing the bail plea of KA Rauf Sharif, the general secretary of Campus Front of India (CFI), the student wing of the PFI, who was arrested in connection with the money laundering case.

Opposing his bail plea, the ED has asserted that Sharif had received foreign remittances of suspicious nature that seemed to have been routed to his account disguised as payments related to international trade.

PFI/SDPI activists imparted weapons training in terror camps

As per reports, in the statement filed before the PMLA court, the ED said that it had taken up a case following the filing of a charge sheet in a National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in 2013. The charge sheet stated that a group of PFI/SDPI activists had conspired to impart training to their cadres in use of explosives and weapons and organised a terror camp at Narath in Kannur district.

It was alleged that the training camp was organised with the intention of promoting enmity between different religions, preparing them for terrorist activities and therefore committed acts endangering the unity and integrity of the nation. “Since PFI has raised substantial funds to organise terrorist training camps, its related activities and to disturb communal harmony…during the course of the investigation, details of numerous bank accounts of PFI and related entities were obtained and their bank statements were analysed”, the ED said.

The ED said that the statements of several functionaries of the PFI and related entities were also recorded during the probe. The central agency alleged that it seized several documents and digital devices during the recent raids conducted at PFI offices and the residences of its office-members across India that reveal that the organisation had been collecting huge amounts of funds abroad.

The ED said that the funds received from abroad were not reflected in the PFI bank accounts which showed that the same had been remitted to them through hawala/underground channels. The PFI, allegedly, did not comply with the laws governing the collection and remittance of foreign funds. It was alleged by the ED that the PFI and its associated organisations like CFI have been involved in money laundering and have been using the money for carrying out unlawful activities in the country.

ED demanded judicial custody of CFI leader KA Rauf Sharif

The ED demanded the judicial custody of Sharif arguing that it was necessary during the crucial phase of investigation as he could try to influence the witnesses and tamper with or destroy the material evidence if let free. The ED alleged that Sharif had transferred funds to one Ateeq ur Rehman.

Ateeq ur Rehman along with three others including a journalist from Kerala was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police while they were travelling to Hathras following the death of a Dalit girl last year. “Further, there is a huge withdrawal of cash from the accounts of the accused which is suspicious in nature”, the agency alleged. An affidavit was filed by the ED in the court last month claiming its probe had revealed that the PFI had received more than Rs 100 crore in its bank accounts over the years.

Nasarudheen Elamaran, the national secretary of the PFI denied all the allegations as baseless and alleged that the ED was being used as a tool by the central government to corner their opponents.

Uttar Pradesh: Communal tension in Barabanki village after land near temple claimed to be part of kabristan

In Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki some members of Muslim community put up barricades from a kabristan (Muslim burial ground) all the way till a nearby temple. As reported by Jagran, this led to communal tension. Soon, villagers reached the spot and removed the barricades.

As per the report, the kabristan is located on the border of Dariyabad and Telma villages. There is a temple nearby adjacent to a lake. On Tuesday, some people reached the temple and claimed that the land outside the temple is of the kabristan and put up a pillar. Telma villagers raised objection to this.

Matters escalated and things got a bit violent. People from nearby Husaipur village also came and removed the barricades.

Soon police arrived on spot and took control of the situation. A team from the Revenue department has also arrived on spot to decide on land ownership.

Delhi Riots: Umar Khalid conspired with Tahir Hussain and others, court takes cognisance of charge sheet

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Dinesh Kumar on January 5 said that there was sufficient evidence on record to proceed against Umar Khalid in the case of communal violence in Khajuri Khas area. The court added that there is reasonable ground to prima facie show that JNU student leader Umar Khalid and former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain and others conspired to carry out the northeast anti-Hindu Delhi Riots last year.

The court has extended the judicial custody of all accused till January 19, 2021.

Witness statement sufficient to prove his involvement

The court said that the witness statement was sufficient to allege that Khalid was in constant contact with Hussain, who is the main accused in the case. Hussain had funded the anti-Hindu riots and provoked the mob from his house to rob the Hindus and burn down their properties. The prosecution has named Khalid allegedly an active participant in the criminal conspiracy to instigate communal riots in different parts of the National Capital.

Accused’s provocation led to robbery and arsenal

The court said that the accused instigated the people of a particular community that led to mob robbing and burning down buildings including houses, shops etc. of Hindus. They also destroyed public property. The court had recorded the state of a witness named Rahul Kasana under Section 161 (examination by police) of CrPC. Kasana was working as a driver of Hussain during that time.

The court noted that Kasana, in his statement, said that he had seen accused Hussain giving out money to the people who were participating in protests against the Citizen Amendment Act. Kasana further alleged in his statement that on January 8, 2020, he took Hussain to Shaheen Bagh where Hussain entered an office. After some time, he saw Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi allegedly entering the same office. The court further noted that Hussain came out after 1-1.5 hours.

The statement of the witness was sufficient to show that Hussain and Khalid were in contact. There is adequate evidence against Hussain on record to prima facie show he was the main conspirator behind the anti-Hindu Delhi riots. Hussain had arranged funds and provoked mob from his house. Hence, there is reasonable ground to show both accused Hussain and Khalid, along with others, had conspired to commit crimes mentioned in the charge sheet, the court noted.

Give a copy of supplementary charge sheet to Khalid

The court has directed the investigating officer to provide a copy of the supplementary charge sheet to Khalid through the concerned Jail Superintendent. The court also noted the application submitted by Khalid alleging that news agencies are running media campaigns against him. He had also alleged that some media sections got hold of the supplementary charge sheet before he or his advocate could get it.

Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad did not object to the demand and said that the same arrangements could be made for all accused to read a copy of the supplementary charge sheet.

As per the reports, a supplementary charge sheet was filed against Khalid on December 26, 2020. The main charge sheet was filed in June last year that had named Hussain as the main conspirator and included the name of 14 others including Khalid and Saifi. In October 2020, Khalid was arrested in the Delhi Riots case, and since then he is judicial custody. In a separate case related to riots, Khalid was arrested in September 2020. He was booked under the anti-terror law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The anti-Hindu Delhi Riots

On February 24, 2020, anti-Hindu riots broke in Delhi on the pretext of protests against Citizen Amendment Act. It is believed that there was a conspiracy to instigate people from a particular community against Hindus that led to the riots. Around 53 people died including IB officer Ankit Sharma and Uttarakhand migrant worker Dilbar Negi. Over 200 people were reported injured. Public and private property worth crores was burnt down on February 24 and 25. Nehru lost Nepal by rejecting King Tribhuvan’s offer to make it a province of India, Pranab Mukherjee in autobiography

In a sensational disclosure, late President Pranab Mukherjee says in his much-talked-about autobiography – ‘The Presidential Years’, has revealed how former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru committed a major blunder by rejecting Nepal’s King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah’s offer that the Himalayan nation is made a province of India.

According to the reports, in the chapter titled, ‘My Prime Ministers: Different Styles, Different Temperaments’, late President Mukherjee wrote that Nehru dealt with Nepal very diplomatically. He noted that after the Rana rule was replaced by the monarchy in Nepal, he wished for democracy to take root.

Pranab Mukherjee in his autobiography added, “Interestingly, Nepal’s king, Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah, had suggested to Nehru that Nepal be made a province of India. But Nehru rejected the offer on the grounds that Nepal was an independent nation and must remain so.”

In the yet-to-be-published book written by late President Pranab Mukherjee, he writes that “had Indira Gandhi been in Nehru’s place, she would have perhaps seized upon the opportunity, like she did with Sikkim”. Sikkim was a kingdom which became part of India in 1975. On April 9, 1975, the Sikkim Parliament announced that the king was deposed. Through a referendum, Sikkim became part of India. On May 16, 1975, the Indian parliament announced that Sikkim officially became a state of India.

Expressing his views on the Former Prime Ministers and Presidents of India, late President Mukherjee reportedly writes, “Every PM has his or her own style of functioning. Lal Bahadur Shastri took positions that were very different from that of Nehru. There can be divergent perceptions among PMs, even if they happen to come from the same party, on issues such as foreign policy, security and internal administration.”

The memoir by Pranab Mukherjee has yet again ignited a debate regarding the cost India has been paying due to the strategic blunders that were committed during the Nehruvian era.

Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, during his tenure, not only made blunders by gifting territories to Pakistan and China but also responsible for India ceding territories with much crucial strategic significance. The indecisions of the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru has cost the country much more than just vast swathes of Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Coco Islands and many other strategic locations along the border including Tibet and Nepal.

Pranab Mukherjee slams Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi for Congress’ downfall

In the fourth volume of his autobiography titled, ‘The Presidential Years (2012-2017)’ former President Pranab Mukherjee had blamed the Congress party for losing its focus, after his elevation to the post of the President. The new book of Pranab Mukherjee, who passed away on August 31 this year, is slated to be released in January 2021.

In his book, President Mukherjee had made making scathing observations about his former party. The former President has narrated how several Congress leaders believed his lack of elevation to the post of the Prime Minister in 2004 was responsible for the defeat of the once-formidable Congress party in the 2014 General Elections.

Pranab Mukherjee recounted, “Some members of the Congress have theorized that, had I become the PM in 2004, the party might have averted the 2014 Lok Sabha drubbing. Though I don’t subscribe to this view, I do believe that the party’s leadership lost political focus after my elevation as President.”

In his book, President Mukherjee has blamed the top leadership of the Congress party for the debacle and reportedly says, “While Sonia Gandhi was unable to handle the affairs of the party, Dr Singh’s prolonged absence from the House put an end to any personal contact with other MPs.”

As per the book excerpts, Pranab Mukherjee pointed out how the lack of governance, on the part of Manmohan Singh who was busy in coalition politics, cost them the popular vote.

Family of Pranab Mukherjee clash over Prez Mukherjee’s book

As the excerpts of Mukherjee’s book, ‘The Presidential Years’ was released into the public domain ahead of its launch, the son and daughter of the former President had clashed in the public over the stunning disclosures made by their father in his book.

Abhijit Mukherjee, Pranab’s son, took to Twitter and raised concerns over the memoir, saying that he wants to go through the book before it goes for final printing. However, soon after Abhijit’s series of tweets, Pranab’s daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee responded on social media and mentioned that there was no need to create “unnecessary hurdles” in the publication of the book.

“I, daughter of the author of the memoir ‘The Presidential Years’, request my brother Abhijit Mukherjee not to create any unnecessary hurdles in the publication of the last book written by our father. He completed the manuscript before he fell sick,” Sharmistha had tweeted.

Odisha: Another temple vandalised, idols broken, ornaments stolen

In another incident of temple desecration, two idols of Hindu deities were found vandalised by miscreants on Saturday night.

As per reports, the vandalism took place at a Lord Shiva temple in Muniguda in Odisha near the Andhra Pradesh border. When the priest visited the temple the following morning, he found broken pieces of the idols of Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Laxmi. The priest then informed the temple management committee about the incident.

It was also discovered that the ornaments of Lord Jagannath were also stolen from the temple. On learning about the incident, the committee filed a written complaint against the unidentified accused with the Muniguda police station. Along with the local devotees, the temple management committee had demanded stringent punishment for the accused.

Temple vandalism incidents in Andhra Pradesh

Attacks on Hindu temples seem to have become a routine affair in the state Andhra Pradesh. On Sunday, the idol of Goddess Sita was found vandalised near Pandit Nehru bus stop in the Sitaram Temple in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. During the preliminary investigation, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikrant Patil spoke to the temple caretaker Koteswaramma and assured the protestors that the accused would be nabbed.

On January 1, a Lord Subrahmanya murti in Lord Vigneshwara temple was found desecrated in Rajahmundry district. The priest of the Vigneshwara temple found the murti of Lord Subrahmanya desecrated with two severed limbs of the murti lying on the ground. Last month, the miscreants targeted the famous Ramatheertham in Vizianagaram district and desecrated 400-year-old idol of Bhagwan Ram. When the priest reached the temple on Tuesday morning, he found that the doors of the ancient Sita Lakshmana Kodandarama temple on the Bodikonda hillock in Ramatheertham were broken.

Former ISRO SAC Director Tapan Misra reveals he was poisoned with deadly Arsenic Trioxide in 2017: Exclusive Details

The former ISRO SAC Director Tapan Misra has made an explosive revelation about an assassination attempt made on him on 23 May 2017. Taking to Facebook, Misra disclosed the long-held secret of how he was poisoned with a deadly Arsenic Trioxide, during a promotion interview from Sci/Eng SF to SG in ISRO HQ at Bangalore.

The former ISRO SAC Director suspects that the fatal dose of poison was probably mixed with chutney along with Dosai, in snacks after lunch. In his Facebook post, the ISRO scientist claimed that it took him two years to recover from the agony and pain caused by the administration of poison.

Misra attributed the cause of assassination attempt to espionage attack, embedded in the government set up, to remove a scientist with the significant contribution of military and commercial importance, like expertise in building Synthetic Aperture Radar.

Misra has alluded American involvement in the assassination attempt on him. He said that an Indian American professor of one of the topmost US university suddenly appeared in his office in July 2019 and asked him to keep mum on the poison attack. He was also threatened with hundreds of emails and on occasions saved by the swiftness of the security agencies.

Misra also lamented about the ISRO hierarchy and his own colleagues who started treating him as a pariah following the attack. Despite his repeated attempts to get justice, Misra contends that two successive ISRO chairmen turned a blind eye to his protestations.

Here is the verbatim statement of the former ISRO SAC Director Tapan Misra as posted on his Facebook account:

Long Kept Secret

We, in ISRO, occasionally heard about the highly suspicious death of Prof. Vikram Sarabhai IN 1971. Also heard occasional doubts about the sudden death of Dr S Srinivasan, Director of VSSC IN 1999. Case of Shri Nambinarayanan in 1994 is well known. But I never thought that I will be at the receiving end of such mystery.

I was poisoned with deadly Arsenic Trioxide on 23rd May 2017, during a promotion interview from Sci/Eng SF to SG in ISRO HQ at Bangalore. The fatal dose was probably mixed with chutney along with Dosai, in snacks after lunch. What followed was nightmare lasting for almost two years Severe loss of blood to the tune of 30-40% through anal bleeding. I barely could come back from Bangalore and be rushed to Zydus Cadila hospital in Ahmedabad. It was followed by severe breathing difficulty, unusual skin eruptions and skin shedding, loss of nails on feet and hands, terrible neurological issues due to hypoxia, skeletal pain, unusual sensations, one suspected heart attack and Arsenic depositions and fungal infections on every inch of skin and internal organs. Treatment was received in Zydus Cadila, TMH-Mumbai and AIIMS-Delhi over a period of two years. Famed forensic specialist, Dr Sudhir Gupta told me that in his whole career, for the first time he was seeing a live specimen of a survivor of the assassination attempt with a fatal dose of assassination grade molecular As2O3. Otherwise, his experience was limited to cadavers.

I am thankful to one of my Director colleagues, present at the same meeting, who warned me on 5th June 2017, of the possibility of poison given to me. Probably, I guess, he witnessed poison mixing in my food. On 7th June, MHA security agency personnel met me and alerted me of Arsenic poisoning. I am thankful to them, as their info helped doctors to focus on exact remedy instead of scratching their heads with unusual signatures of my ailment. Security agencies took me to different cities. I am sure, without their intervention, I would have been dead with multiple organ failure within two to three weeks.

I learnt that this poison is given in molecular level suspension (crystal level is harmless) just after a heavy meal. It is a colourless, odourless, tasteless suspension and hence cannot even be suspected. It gets absorbed through stomach during food ingestion, kills RBCs immediately to such large extent that the fine blood vessels are clogged, leading to heart attacks and strokes within two to three hours and the victim can easily be passed off as a heart attack death.

Fortunately, that day, I did not take lunch. Arsenic passed directly to colon region and most of them got rejected through bleeding. The small remnant created so much damage to my health that I only know and I kept my morale high to face the danger with poise.

The motive appears to be espionage attack, embedded in the Government set up, to remove a scientist with the critical contribution of very large military and commercial significance, like expertise in building Synthetic Aperture Radar. I will also not rule out it as a new modus operandi of adjusting seniority and clear me who was perceived as an obstacle. Whatever may be the reason, it was a great shame for the country and our security apparatus.

What pains me is that ISRO hierarchy and my colleagues tried to shun me as a pariah. I pleaded with two successive Chairmen to help me in getting justice. Kirankumar tried his best to convince me that my earlier case of squamous cell carcinoma is resurrecting. I personally talked to Dr Kasturirangan and Shri Madhavan Nair and they developed cold feet.

What followed was a series of nightmares, along with the severe deterioration of health. I was bombarded with hundreds of threatening emails to keep my mouth shut. I was saved by whiskers, due to alacrity of security agencies, from the massive explosive incident, in which Rs. 100 cr. the lab was destroyed. This happened on 3rd May 2018.

On 19th July 2019, an Indian American professor of one of the topmost US university suddenly appeared in my office. He requested me not to utter a word in future. As a quid pro quo, my IITK grad son will be accommodated in a top-notch college in the USA. I declined and he left my office at 1430 hrs. And my thirty-plus years contributing career was consigned to sinecure position at 1630 hrs. on the same day. I was removed from all responsibilities, including SAC Directorship.

My security was breached and I was poisoned with gaseous poison, probably Hydrogen Cyanide, which hypoxiates leaving no trace, on 12th July 2019. I was hypoxiated severely, leading to convulsion, loss of senses and memory. I survived because of NSG training of my PSO. I was transferred immediately to the hospital, administered ozonised oxygen and had to spend a couple of days in ICU. Hospitalization was followed by a long treatment for hypoxia, which is continuing. Curiously it happened just two days before the planned launch date of Chandrayan 2 on 15th July. Probably to prevent me to be present there on this occasion.

There was a plan to defame me by doctoring the CCTV recording of my room on 23rd and 24th Jan 2020. It still baffles me how this high-security recorder, located in the room of Director, SAC was accessed, contents were digitally edited and played back in analogue for rerecording. CCTV recorders are special recorders which can only be fed in analogue and can be digitally retrieved. The attempt was foiled because of the alertness of security agencies. I still marvel at the cinematographical quality of editing of such an unimpressive fellow like me.

For the last two years, there were mysterious appearances of poisonous snakes like cobra, krait at regular intervals of a few days in my quarter. Karbolic acid vents are put every 10 ft. Yet nobody could prevent intrusions of the snakes. Fortunately, because of my four cats and my security staff, they could be killed or caught alive. Only three months back, we accidentally discovered a carefully laid secret tunnel in my compound and hidden in a trove of banana plantations. Once we blocked the tunnel, all snake intrusions stopped.

Two incidents convinced me that the mysterious people are after me and probably going to hit me hard before my superannuation at the end of this month. They want my mouth shut forever.

1. All the signatures point to deliberate poisoning of my mentally challenged son with Covid 19. The poor boy, who cannot even speak or eat or carry out hygiene activities himself, had to be hospitalized for 10 days, followed by months of complications.

2. There was a failed attempt in poisoning me with Arsenic, probably in the first week of September 2020. It failed, but it was enough to create a signature of quite a good amount of poisoning, leading to skeletal pain, skin peeling and nail dying.

Enough is enough. I have faith in our security apparatus and men. But these mysterious men are much more equipped, trained, lethal and determined to snuff out living witness of the most shameful incident of Indian science. I put forward to Government, intellectuals and fellow scientists and my classmates and teachers, spread across the world, that all efforts should be made to keep me and my family safe and punish these mysterious men. I am convinced that these are the men, embedded in our system, are leading to mysterious deaths of scientists and the destruction of our institutions. These incidents should be wake up call to prevent such nefarious happening to many of our bright minds in future. The nation, which cannot protect their own people who made contributions in building it in the first place, is destined to perish.

OpIndia spoke to Tapan Misra

OpIndia got in touch with Tapan Misra over the same and he confirmed that he had made the post. He further told us, “My sincere request to govt and the political system is that those who build the country, if we do not protect them, if we do not protect our assets, tomorrow our country will perish.”

First Kirti Azad, now Udit Raj: Congress leaders make offensive comments on Sourav Ganguly after the cricket stalwart suffers heart attack

While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former cricketer Sourav Ganguly recuperates in a hospital in Kolkata after undergoing an angioplasty, Congress leaders are busy outshining each other, when it comes to spreading toxic negativity on social media. After Congress leader Kirti Azad, party spokesperson Udit Raj has also taken to Twitter to make an unsavoury comment against the BCCI chief.

Taking a sarcastic dig at Ganguly for endorsing Fortune oil, the Congress leader insinuated what Ganguly must-have said after suffering a heart attack: “I have always eaten and endorsed that this oil keeps you away from heart ailments. But today I have only suffered a heart attack. What to do, we have to do such things for money. And to top it all Adani is also Modi’s friend”.

Dr Raj was slammed for his negative tweet by netizens. People wondered what help can a politician with such a toxic mentality be for the country.

The Congress party was also targeted over the matter.

It is pertinent to note that Congress leader Kirti Azad had also faced criticism when he made a similar jibe at Sourav Ganguly yesterday.

This is, however, not the first time the Congress spokesperson has been caught making such distasteful remarks. He is the same person who had maliciously made a ‘gaumutra’ jibe following the death of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor after a long battle with cancer. Prior to this, a complaint was registered against him at the Cyber Crime Branch in New Delhi for his defamatory statement against the Brahmins.

Meanwhile, one of India topmost cardiac surgeon Devi Shetty, after examining the Board of Control for Cricket in India president at a hospital in Kolkata on Tuesday, said that the former cricketer is as fit as a fiddle. “He can run a marathon and fly a plane as his heart is as strong as it was when he was 20”, opined Dr Shetty.

Sourav Ganguly was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after he complained of chest pain while working out at a gym. He underwent angioplasty after three tiny blockages were detected in his coronary artery.

Ganguly is expected to be released from the hospital on Wednesday. He would be on oral medications and monitored on a daily basis at home. Doctors have advised him to undergo two more angioplasty for the other blockages after two to three weeks.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the brand Adani Wilmar has pulled down all ads featuring former Indian captain. The step was taken after the brand was extensively trolled on social media.
