India will make history as Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will pilot the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla’s journey to space will put an Indian astronaut in space four decades after Rakesh Sharma’s historic 1984 voyage.
"You all know about our neighbours. If we have to ensure the safety of our country, we have to serve through our satellites," the ISRO Chief said after Operation Sindoor.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the approval of a Rs 3,985 crore project for the construction of a third launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota.
