RSS lashes out at Rahul Gandhi for lying blatantly, maligning RSS and Modi’s reputation

In his tweet today, Dr Manmohan Vaidya, Sah- Sarkaryavah of RSS berated Congress president Rahul Gandhi for lying brazenly in his attempt to vindictively attack Modi and RSS by roguishly capitalizing on the death of Sterilite protestors.

In a staunch tone, he condemned such ‘irresponsible utterings’ of the Congress and Rahul Gandhi saying that the allegations put by Rahul are untrue and bereft of facts. He further said that the Congress is frustrated as its divisive politics is being completely rejected by the people of India.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi was scathed on social media on Wednesday for blaming the Modi government and the RSS workers for the violence erupted due to protests by agitators who are opposing the proposed expansion of smelter Thoothukudi by Sterlite Copper – a subsidiary of Vedanta.

The violent protest resulted in the death of at least nine people after the police resorted to open firing in order to seek control over the situation.

Going by Rahul Gandhi’s statement, it was clear that he was accusing PM Modi and the RSS, as well as its ideology for the deaths of the protesters. However, owing to the absurdity of his tweet, he came under the scanner of various social media users. It was pointed how law and order was a state subject, hence if indeed Rahul wanted to scrutinize the administrative action, he should have questioned the AIADMK led Tamil Nadu government and not PM Modi or RSS.

However, it is also worthy to note that Congress president Rahul Gandhi had already been sued by RSS in the past. A defamation case was filed against him by a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh functionary for his remark that RSS is behind the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has time and again been on the receiving end. To name a few, several media houses, linguistic chauvinists, communists, leftists have always been jumping down BJP, RSS or any right-leaning organization’s throat making it their daily practice.
