After Uttara Prachand, Arvind Kejriwal coins new state name Maniland, video goes viral

Kejriwal had immediately corrected himself, but that did not prevent him from going viral on Twitter

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal seems to have started a habit of coining new names for states in India. In May last year, a video had gone viral where the AAP supremo had coined the name Uttara Prachand, while referring to Uttarakhand. Now another video had become viral on Twitter, where Kejriwal is heard talking about a state called Maniland.

While talking about the demand of full statehood for Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Assam, from Gujarat to Maniland, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir to Kerala, all states have the status of the full state, except Delhi.

Kejriwal made the comments on 25th April in Delhi, while releasing the manifesto of Aam Aadmi Party for the Lok Sabha elections, but a short clip of the video was circulated on today where he is heard referring to Manipur as Maniland.

As expected, the goof-up by the Delhi CM attracted humorous responses on social media. People got creative, and they started working on establishing the new state named Maniland.

It may be noted that Kejriwal had immediately corrected himself, and mentioned Manipur after saying Maniland. The full video can be watched here.
