Out-on-bail Rahul Gandhi seeks probe against PM Modi for ‘corruption’

Out on bail in National Herald case, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has sought a probe against PM Narendra Modi for corruption and weakening National Security for providing ‘Rafale’ contract to his friend.

Referring to Swedish Telecom major Ericsson’s contempt plea in the Supreme Court against Reliance Communications chief Anil Ambani, Congress President Rahul Gandhi called upon for an investigation against Modi for allegedly handling the Rafale contract to his ‘friend’ Anil Ambani and in the process jeopardising the national security of the country.

Telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson has filed its second contempt petition in the Supreme Court against Reliance Communications’ Chairman Anil Ambani, asking him to be detained and barred from travel overseas unless he ensures payment Rs 550 crore to Ericsson.

The RCom has separately initiated contempt proceedings in the Supreme Court against Department of Telecommunications for delaying the spectrum that could have enabled them to pay the dues to Ericsson.

But this is a bit rich coming from someone who is already out on bail in National Herald case. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi were granted bail on December 2015 in the National Herald case of cheating and misappropriation. Last month, the court had asked National herald to vacate its property in New Delhi and questioned it how property worth crores was transferred to Young India, a firm owned by Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

It is notable here that Rahul Gandhi and his party have been claiming ‘corruption’ in the Rafale deal despite repeated clarifications from the government. Rahul Gandhi’s often repeated claim of PM Modi ‘gifting’ a 30,000 crore deal is also based on lies and gross ignorance of hard facts.

Regarding Rafale deal too, the Supreme Court had rejected occurrence of any wrongdoing in procuring the Rafale fighter jets. Eric Trappier, Dassault Aviation’s CEO, had also refuted the allegations levelled by Rahul Gandhi regarding the offset partners. Trappier had clearly enunciated that Anil Ambani’s company was one of the offset partners that Dassault voluntarily chose without any political pressure from the Indian government.

Rahul Gandhi cancels Amethi visit, winks in parliament again

0

Today union minister Smriti Irani and Congress president Rahul Gandhi were scheduled to visit Amethi, the parliamentary constituency of the later. The union minister launched several projects in Amethi, and addressed a rally. She said that due to the work done by BJP government in the constituency, Rahul Gandhi is forced to visit Amethi. But after getting roasted by defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha today, the Congress president decided not to face another firebrand woman leader from BJP in his own home turf.

Earlier, it was reported that Rahul Gandhi has postponed his visit to Amethi as he wanted to attend the Rafale debate in the parliament. But according to latest reports, he has cancelled the visit altogether, citing important work in wake of the Lok Sabha proceedings.

Although the Congress party did not say what important work Rahul Gandhi had in Lok Sabha that he had to cancel his scheduled visit to his constituency, a video has emerged which show what important work he had. He had to wink in the Lok Sabha, again.

During the debate when AIADMK MP Thambi Durai was speaking during the Rafale debate, Rahul Gandhi, who was sitting behind Durai, was seen winking, looking towards someone on the opposite of the house, probably in the treasury benches.

This is the second time Rahul Gandhi has performed this bizarre act in the august house. On 20th July last year, during the no-confidence motion against the Modi government, Rahul Gandhi had walked over to prime minister Narendra Modi and hugged him. And after returning to his seat, Rahul Gandhi had winked towards the PM, which was caught on camera. The images and video of Rahul Gandhi winking in parliament had gone viral that time.

The Congress president seems to love the attention his such antics draw, hence he decided to repeat it, aware that this will be caught in cameras.

With Ahmed Patel’s troubles mounting in three different cases, Congress is landing into an unprecedented crisis

0

Supreme Court has delivered a blow to Rajya Sabha MP and Gandhi family’s top aide Ahmed Patel, by declining to stay the Gujarat High Court’s order to initiate a trial in relation to his 2017 Rajya Sabha elections. An election petition was filed by Balwantsinh Rajput in Gujrat High court challenging Elections Commission’s decision of invalidating two votes, which had led to Patel’s victory and Rajput’s defeat in Gujarat Rajya Sabha election.

Ahmed Patel is political secretary of Sonia Gandhi and regarded as Gandhi family’s top loyalist. He is credited to be Congress’ brain behind, party’s election win in general elections of 2004 and 2009. He has thrice been elected as MLA, and four times as Rajya Sabha MP. His career is marred with many controversies and is allegedly involved in many scams, getting probed by agencies.

Last year, CBI and ED booked Gujarat based Sterling Biotech’s directors Nitin, Chetna and Dipti Sandesara, for their alleged involvement in fraud with a consortium of banks led by Andhra Bank to the tune of Rs 5500 crore. As the Enforcement Directorate tightened its investigation, Ahmed Patel’s association in this case resurfaced. In August last year, ED produced a man named Ranjit Malik before the duty magistrate of a Delhi court, for allegedly sending Rs 25 lakh cash to the official residence of Ahmed Patel. An employee of Sandesara group,  Sunil Yadav too has alleged the involvement of  Patel, his son, Faisal Patel, and his son-in-law, Irfan Siddiqui in the same fraud.

Patel’s alleged involvement in scams is by no means limited to Sandesara group scam. His name also popped during the investigation of the UPA-era August Westland Scam. One diary recovered from middleman Michel had some notes which reportedly indicate recipients of the bribe paid to secure the deal. There were references to “AP”, “FAM”, “Pol”, “Bur”, “DG Acq”, “AF” etc under the heading “budget expenditure items” in the diary, allegedly a note of people who were paid bribes. After Micheal was extradited to India, during custody, he made many explosive confessions to ED. In of the confession, he identified the notings in the diary and said that the AP refers to Ahmed Patel.

Ahmed Patel’s election to Rajya Sabha was marred with controversies and high-voltage drama. Three seats of Rajya Sabha from Gujrat were going to the election, for which four candidates had filed nomination. From BJP, President Amit Shah, Union Minister Smriti Irani and former Chief Whip of Congress Balwantsinh Rajput filed nomination. From Congress, Ahmed Patel contested. Before elections, the total strength of Congress MLAs reduced from 57 to 52, after many MLAs had defected to BJP, including Balwantsinh.

In a desperate move, to prevent defection of other MLAs, Congress party packed and deported 44 MLAs to a lavish resort at Bangalore. They were brought back to Gandhinagar on the polling day. This move was severely criticised, as Gujarat at that time was battling with severe floods, and Congress MLAs were seen as enjoying at resorts. During the counting of votes, Congress leaders complained to Election Commision that two votes of Congress MLAs should be invalidated, citing a technical issue. The complaint was deemed valid by EC and total votes required to win came down to 44 from 45, and eventually, Patel won.

The invalidation of votes by EC was challenged by Balwantsinh Rajput, who lost against Ahmed Patel. In April last year, the court dismissed Patel’s plea demanding the dismissal of Rajput’s election petition. Rajput had also accused Patel of indulging in malpractices. Ahmed Patel, then approached the Supreme Court, where the court upheld the High Court’s order.

Last year in December, after assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi tried to deliver an impromptu speech outside parliament, praising efforts towards farm loan waivers by newly elected Congress governments. Before, addressing media, Gandhi was seen getting tutored by his top aide including Ahmed Patel.

Union Minister Smriti Irani had taken to Twitter, to take a dig at Gandhi.

Being a loyalist of Gandhi family, Patel’s name popping up in so many scandals and also in election malpractices can surely deliver a blow to Gandhi family’s credibility.

Petel was represented by senior Congress leaders Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi in the court. SC will hear the case next month and has directed High Court to initiate trails, taking Rajput’s election petition in consideration.

We don’t do defence dealings, we deal in defence keeping national security as priority: Nirmala Sitharaman in parliament

Congress President Rahul Gandhi looked clueless at the Lok Sabha on Friday after Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave a point-by-point rebuttal in the house countering the accusations of Congress on the issue of Rafale deal. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman took a dig at the Congress saying that party should understand the difference between defence dealings and dealings in defence. She said that the NDA government deals in defence keeping national security as top priority.

Speaking at the Lok Sabha today Defence Minister Sitharaman gave a detailed point-to-point reply to each objection raised by the Opposition parties pertaining to the Rafale Deal. “This country will have to understand that national security is important, whether they (opposition) are in power or we are (BJP). We cannot run away from facts.”

Nirmala  Sitharaman said Congress is scared of facts. She added that senior members of the opposition parties do not want to hear her answers and it was very disheartening. This country needs to know that defence purchases are national security-related, said Sitharaman.

Responding to the Congress allegations against dumping HAL from the Rafale deal, Nirmala Sitharaman tore into Congress party saying that it is shedding crocodile tears for HAL issue and accused Congress of not doing nothing to scale up the capacity of the state-run firm. The BJP government gave Rs. 1 lakh crore worth of contracts to HAL, she added.

“You stopped the deal, forgetting Air Force was suffering. You didn’t conclude the deal, because it didn’t suit you. The deal didn’t get you money,” said Defence Minister Sitharaman. “Congress did not intend buying the jets. For every ‘AA’ (Anil Ambani) there is a ‘Q’ (Quattrocchi) and ‘RV, (Robert Vadra)” she added.

Citing a press conference of a Congress spokesperson claiming that Congress party will not discuss India’s defence deals with a foreign head of state, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman questioned Rahul Gandhi on how did he say in Parliament that he asked the French President regarding the secrecy pact, who had allegedly denied its existence. “One of them is misleading the country. I want proof of this”, Sitharaman added.

“Defence Ministry has run without any middlemen under PM Modi’s leadership. Bofors was a scam, Rafale is a decision taken in national interest,” Sitharaman said. “Bofors brought Congress down, Rafale will bring Modi back to build new India and remove corruption,” Sitharaman added.

Nirmala Sitharaman also spoke in detail about how the present Rafale deal was better than Congress deal and stated that their basic aircraft would have cost 737 crores against to the basic price paid in the new deal which is 670 crore, 9% lesser than the previous deal. She said that delivery time of the aircraft has also been reduced by 5 months for 36 aircraft and logistics support for 2 squadrons instead of one has been included in the deal without any extra cost.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman slammed Congress party for calling her a liar and Prime Minister a ‘Chor. “I come from a middle-class family, I come with my honour intact, PM comes from an economically backward family. and you call him Chor?” she charged Congress.

It is notable here that on Wednesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had also spoken on Congress’ lies and attempts to mislead the country over false accusations regarding the Rafale deal.

Government hints at stopping Rs 2000 note printing as of now, sufficient notes in circulation

The government on Friday indicated that the production of Rs 2,000 notes which came into existence post demonetisation in November 2016, would be halted for the time being as there was sufficient currency in circulation.

Economic affairs secretary Subhash Chandra Garg, amidst speculations claiming that the central government plans to phase out the Rs 2000 note, came out with a clarification on Twitter, saying, “We have more than adequate notes of Rs 2,000 in the system with over 35 per cent of notes by value in circulation being of Rs 2,000. There has been no decision regarding 2,000 rupee note production recently”.

It is important to note that the Rs 2000 note continues to be a legal bank note, only its fresh production has been halted as there is enough supply of this note. RBI prints banknotes of various denominations based on current availability of particular denominations, and to replace worn out currency notes.

Soon after the sudden decision by the Modi Government to ban old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes which accounted for almost 86 per cent of the total currency in circulation back then in 2016, the Reserve Bank of India had come out with the Rs 2000 note alongside a new Rs 500 note as a part of the demonetization drive.

How Lutyens’ Media shielded Rahul Gandhi on his lies about Rafale after Arun Jaitley’s speech

You must have read in English mainstream media on Thursday morning that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Parliament called out Congress President Rahul Gandhi for “speaking five lies in a day”, especially, about the Rafale deal. But I bet you wouldn’t have read the instances Jaitley cited in support. Be it your Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Hindu or The Times of India—all the Lutyens’ Media have edited out the “instances”.

It’s not the first time—the Lutyens’ Media never nails down Rahul Gandhi on his lies. Mr Gandhi knows he can lie with impunity and the English MSM would gush and swoon. There was never a word against his mother Sonia Gandhi for over two decades. NOT ONE WORD. There is none against Rahul Gandhi in the last five years. You can watch this video of Jaitley’s speech on Wednesday and judge for yourself how your newspaper cheats you every single day. And firewalls Rahul Gandhi as if it’s lives depended on it.

Maybe it does depend after all.

I bet you haven’t read what Jaitley said about Rahul Gandhi’s lies on offset partners and the supposed favour to Anil Ambani’s Reliance. “They keep citing Rs. 1.30 lakh crores (the amount of favour). Now it was UPA which decided in 2005 that offset partners in India must get 30-50 percent of total work. Since the total deal is Rs 58,000 crores, it would amount to Rs. 29,000 crores. Dassault has said the business (to Reliance) comes to only 3-4 percent, or only around Rs 800 crores over 10 years. How the figure of Rs 1.30 lakh is cited when the entire deal is only Rs 58,000 crores?” Did you find it in your newspaper?

Jaitley then tore into Rahul Gandhi for somehow linking PM Modi to Rafale deal. “(He said) The procedure was wrong. No negotiating committee, no defence acquisition council, no cabinet committee on security—just one man (Mr Modi). But the panels (put together) had 74 meetings…the details of which were submitted to the Supreme Court. SC said it was satisfied with the process.” Did you find it in your newspaper?

Jaitley then shed light on why Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) was not chosen as an offset partner. “UPA itself had refused the contract to HAL.” HAL quoted “2.7 higher man-hours”required for the job—so not the only price would’ve escalated but Pakistan and China would’ve gone stronger too.” Did you find it in your newspaper?

“The press statement which was issued (after the deal) said it was an inter-governmental agreement. That it would be cheaper than the price which UPA had negotiated.” Did you find it in your newspaper?

Jaitley then chided Congress leader Shashi Tharoor over Rafale pricing and said at least the latter was expected to have read the Supreme Court judgment. “SC asked for price, we gave them the sealed envelope, they opened it and then SC gave the judgment that it was satisfied with the judicial review of the pricing.”

Jaitley mentioned that UPA contract provided for 11 years for the delivery of the first batch of Rafale jets. “And they are asking us why no jet has been delivered in 2018 when the contract was signed in 2016.”

Jaitley dismissed the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe outright. “JPC is on matters of policy” and not on “investigations.” Besides, Jaitley said the JPC is on “partisan party lines.” He cited the instance of Bofors where a hand-picked JPC had termed the bribes given not as “kickback” but as “winding up charges.”

Jaitley struck hard at lies which the Congress president and his party have spread over the years. “He (Rahul Gandhi) said the French president (Macron) had himself said (about Reliance as offset partner) to him. The French government later denied it.” He also cited the case of forging of papers by Congress to show (former PM) VP Singh’s son had a foreign bank account at St. Kitts. Yes, readers, you must’ve missed this bit too.

Jaitley took a broadside against the Congress and its leaders. “The Economist,” wrote about a “prime minister who is in office but not in power” on Manmohan Singh. “This man (Rahul Gandhi) lies repeatedly. He lies five times a day.”

So disgraceful was Congress during the Parliament session that speaker Sumitra Mahajan spat out in disgust: “If you don’t want to listen, you shouldn’t have asked for it.”

Yes, Rahul Gandhi had asked for it. But you wouldn’t have known thanks to the cover-up which English MSM does as a matter of editorial policy.

Rafale cacophony: NDTV gives a masterclass in how pliant media is expected to behave

On 2nd January 2018, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley exchanged arguments over the Rafale deal inside and outside parliament. While the finance minister tried to put some sense into the debate by describing various aspects of the deal in very simple terms, Rahul Gandhi refused to relent and repeated the same old lies he is peddling for a year now.

During his speech in Lok Sabha, Arun Jaitley had said, referring to Rahul Gandhi using AA to mean Anil Ambani, “if we are into abbreviations, can I ask, was he playing in the lap of one Q, about who in the Bofors case, the CEO had in his diary written – Q must be protected at all accounts.” Jaitley also mentioned various scams under the Congress government, including the Bofors scam.

Reacting to that speech, controversial media house NDTV has published an article on its website, which essentially says that bringing the Bofors was a bad idea by BJP. Written by Business Standard editor Mihir Sharma, who is often caught spreading fake news on social media, the article tries to draw a parallel between Bofors and the Rafale cases. He says that nothing was proved in the court in the case of Bofors, but Congress’ image was tainted due to the controversy, and the same will happen to BJP due to Rafale controversy.

We are not sure whether that is just speculation or wishful thinking because there is a huge difference between the two cases. In the case of Bofors, there were allegations of bribes being paid to secure the deal. The case was exposed by Swedish media, not by opposition parties in India. Due to the expose, Bofors was blacklisted by Indian in 1987, when Congress was in power. The link between middleman in the deal Ottavio Quattrocchi and the Gandhi family is well documented. There was an Interpol red corner notice against Quattrocchi on India’s request. The case was investigated by CBI, and the charge sheet was filed in 1999 during the NDA-I government.

Nothing was proved in the Bofors case due to the fact that CBI investigation was botched up. There were long delays in the probe, they didn’t send important documents to ensure extradition of Quattrocchi to India, they also missed court hearings and submission of documents, leading to weakening of the case. Observing CBI’s role in the probe, a Delhi Court had said that there are “certain malafide intentions” to derail the case. “I agree that there are certain malafide intentions in the case and there is no doubt in that,” Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav had said.

Compared to Bofors, there is no allegation of bribes being paid to secure the deal in case of Rafale. The apex court has given its verdict that the Rafale deal does not need to be investigated, dismissing several petitions demanding the same. Studying the information provided by the union government, the Supreme Court has said that it is satisfied with the government’s response and that it can’t order an investigation based on perceptions of people.

It must be remembered that Rafale was chosen by India after an extensive bidding process during the UPA government. Of the 126 aircraft that India was to buy, 18 were to be made by Dassault and the rest 108 were to be made by HAL under licensed manufacturing. As the deal didn’t go through over disagreements on terms of the manufacturing by HAL, it was cancelled, and India decided to buy 36 planes, or 2 squadrons, directly from Dassault, instead of 18 as per the original deal.

Other than the Congress party and activists raising hilarious allegations like Modi giving ₹30,000 crore to Anil Ambani (which is false and was rebutted in detail) under the deal, there is not even a single concrete allegation of corruption in the deal. And surprisingly, even the NDTV article seems to agree. The author accepts that he “continue to be unconvinced that there is a real case against the Prime Minister over Rafale, at least given what’s in the public domain currently.” This means an acceptance that Rahul Gandhi is making baseless allegations about the deal. But instead of criticising Rahul Gandhi for such blatant lies, the article goes on to focus on how the Congress president has been successful in creating a doubt in the minds of people about the deal.

The article says that “defence deals should not become the fodder for easy political wins”, but then goes onto praise Rahul Gandhi for hurting Modi’s corruption-free image, despite agreeing that there is no corruption in the deal in the first place. The author says that Rahul Gandhi may be wrong with the facts on Rafale deal which Arun Jaitley had corrected in Lok Sabha, but Gandhi has proved to be a good and smart politician. Yes, Mr Sharma says that Rahul Gandhi has become a good politician by successfully spreading falsehood and ignoring publicly available information. As they say nowadays, the narrative is important, not data.

The article also suggests that the allegations of scams against UPA-II governments were same as current allegations on Rafale, which is completely untrue. The various scams during the Manmohan Singh government were probed by investigation agencies, and the cases tried by courts. Nothing of that sort is happening with Rafale.

The one thing that Rahul Gandhi keeps saying is that Modi gave ₹30,000 crore to Anil Ambani through the Rafale deal (which sometimes becomes ₹1,30,000 crore, much more than the deal value), which is nothing but pure unadulterated fiction. But the article is silent about this. Most journalists, no matter the political affiliation, understands the basics of offset clause and other details in defence deals in general and the Rafale deal in particular, although we are not sure about this particular author. Still, almost none of them counter Rahul Gandhi’s lies, and this article is also no exception.

In fact, the author discusses none of the actual charges made by Rahul Gandhi. Perhaps the reason is that, while discussing the allegations, he will have to do the blasphemy of directly saying that Rahul Gandhi is lying. In the current scenario, nobody expects media houses to be neutral, and the hatred that NDTV and this particular author has for BJP is well known. Generally, even explicitly biased media houses try to pretend to be neutral, but with this article, no such attempt has been made. The text of the article indirectly accepts that there is no basis of allegations made by Rahul Gandhi, but instead of criticising him, it actually praises him for being able to corner BJP with lies.

The author says that the government will be in a dock if Congress raises the fake audio of Goa minister Vishwajit Rane in court, and it does not matter if Manohar Parikar denies having any file on Rafale. He actually advises Congress to do so, arguing that even if it is proved to be false, it will be a win for Congress. He says that government will be held guilty for misleading the court. Which is a bizarre assertion, because if it is proved that the audio is fake, Congress will be held guilty of misleading the court, not the government.

Today media is inevitably biased, there is no denying it, but this open support of blatant falsehood by Congress president is a new low for media. During press conferences, when Rahul Gandhi makes outrageous allegations of ₹30,000 crore, no journalist present questions him. Now this article by NDTV explains why, the journalists are actually very much impressed with Rahul Gandhi’s ability to lie day after day, and they believe that somehow these lies will corner Modi. It also shows how lowly media think about public intellect.

‘It’s not Court’s business!’: Meenakshi Lekhi slams Judiciary and Feminists, defends Sabarimala traditions in Lok Sabha

Kerala has transformed into a battleground after the Communist Kerala Government conspired to desecrate the Sabarimala Temple. Violence has been reported in many areas and deaths have also been reported.

Meenakshi Lekhi, Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, raised the matter of Sabarimala in the Lok Sabha during the Zero Hour on Friday.

Meenakshi Lekhi hammered the Supreme Court and feminists in her speech. She said it wasn’t the Court’s business to decide on the ritualistic practices of Hinduism. She asked the Court, “Will the Supreme Court decide how the birth of Jesus took place? Will the Supreme Court decide which body should be buried and which should be burnt?”

She further asked the Court, “It is about physically and spiritually training men because for 41 days, they have to observe abstinence. Will the Court decide that the 41 day period should be reduced to 28 days or 30 days or 20 days?”

She proclaimed, “It’s not the Court’s business!” She further stated, “These are people who in the name of Feminist rights are actually transgressing. They are not followers of Ayyappa, these are anti-religious people, they have a right to be anti-religious, but they have no right to transgress!”

Lekhi stated that the entire controversy around Sabarimala was sparked by people “who neither understand Hinduism nor do they know the practices of rituals.” On Feminism, Lekhi said that a narrative was being built where men were made to feel small and anti-feminist for passing orders that are logically correct.

The Communist government was not spared by Meenakshi Lekhi either. She said, “A Government, which is refusing to maintain law and order in that state, is acting in a manner where it transports two women in an ambulance and surreptitiously takes them as a transgender. One person has died because of stone-pelting. The state government is squarely responsible for that death. Four of those devotees have committed suicide. You are actually doing things to provoke a community.”

The BJP MP strongly asserted that “Ritualistic practices practised by certain religious groups need to be left alone and this is what tolerance is all about.” The intolerance of the Communist government and the zealotry of liberals has created an extremely tensed atmosphere in the state.

Devotees of Bhagwan Ayyappa have been protesting peacefully against the Supreme Court verdict for a long time. After the desecration of Sabarimala, Sabarimala Karma Samithi had called for a day-long bandh yesterday in protest. Four BJP workers were brutally injured in the attacks after a clash ensued in Thrissur when the BJP workers were trying to ensure the day-long bandh called by Hindu outfits in the state. Kerala police have arrested three SDPI activists for the attack.

Sabarimala: Third woman enters the shrine amid protests, situation remains tense

0

Days after Bindu and Kanakdurga entered the Sabarimala shrine in the early hours of 2nd January, a 47-year-old Sri Lankan woman Sasikala had darshan at the shrine. Sasikala, a native of Karaitivu was reportedly seen at the Sannidhanam at around 10:45 pm last night. This way, she became the first woman to have darshan after climbing the 18 holy steps.

As per reports, she ‘denied’ the darshan for the sake of her safe return. The CCTV camera also show Sasikala and her husband’s presence at the temple. She had refuted the claims last night, but now that she is in a safe place, the video footage released by government sources reveal she was very much at the shrine.

She had earlier claimed that she had not been allowed to enter the temple despite carrying a medical certificate that her uterus has been removed.

The Kerala Communist government who had earlier attempted several times to allow activists and non-Hindus to enter the Sabarimala shrine, even by escorting them. The Kerala government with their police force has now become successful in deliberately violating the age-old customs protected for thousand years. Pinarayi Vijayan led Kerala government in their attempt to aid their communist colleagues to enter the Sabarimala have defamed the Hindus and their long-held traditions.

In the garb of implementing controversial Supreme Court judgement, the Kerala government, with the help of state police force has now turned the area near Sabarimala into a war zone.

PM Modi inaugurates development projects in Manipur, highlights previous govt’s incompetence

Prime Minister laid down the foundation stone and dedicated multiple development projects to the nation at Imphal, Manipur today.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCDswYuAkJs]

The Prime Minister inaugurated an integrated check post at Moreh, an improved and upgraded water supply for Churachandpur zone, eco-tourism complex at Thangapat in Kangpokpi district, an integrated tourist destination in Noney district and the water supply scheme at JNV, Lambui and its surrounding villages.

Narendra Modi said, “Today, Manipur has received the gift of the Integrated Check Post, built at the cost of Rs. 125 crores. It is not merely a check post but a centre for any other facilities. This check post, situated at the India-Myanmar border, will aid travellers and businessmen. Along with this, facilities such as customs clearance, foreign currency exchange, immigration clearance, ATM, restrooms will also be available.”

The foundation stone for the infrastructure development of Dhanamanjuri University in Imphal West district, flood lighting of hockey stadium and the main stadium at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal East district and AstroTurf laying in Langjing Achouba of Imphal West district were also laid.

Taking a dig at the Congress party, PM Narendra Modi said, “All these development projects inaugurated today not only shows the commitment of our government towards development but also highlights the incompetence of previous governments.”

Prime Minister Modi began his speech at Imphal with a few words in the local language. He paid his tributes to the freedom fighters who made immense sacrifices in India’s freedom movement. He also remembered Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and his activities in Manipur.

Modi stated, “Our friends in the North-East gave immense support to Azad Hind Fauj. There was a saying which was extremely popular in those times, ‘The path to Freedom will open through the East’. And once the path was opened, our enemies could never close it.”

Narendra Modi’s rally at Gurdaspur yesterday marks the beginning of the campaign for the 2019 General Elections. It is reported that he will tour 20 states in the next 100 days to galvanize the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The focus will be to secure gains from areas where it had not performed well the last time around.
