‘Pakistan PM begging for funds while India reached the moon and held G20 meetings’: Former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif

0

On Monday (18 September), Pakistan’s exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lambasted former generals and judges for the country’s current economic crisis. Drawing a stark comparison with India, Sharif lamented that Pakistan’s Prime Minister is running from country to country begging for money while India reached the moon and hosted the G20 summit.

He said, “Today Pakistan’s prime minister goes country to country to beg for funds while India has reached the moon and is holding G20 meetings.”

He claimed that India’s economic trajectory changed as it had followed the economic reforms initiated by his government in 1990. He added, “When Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the prime minister of India, it had only a billion dollars in kitty but now India’s foreign exchange reserves have risen up to $600 billion.”

Going ahead, he asked, “Why Pakistan couldn’t achieve the feats India did? Who is responsible for this here?” he also added where India has reached today and where Pakistan is left behind begging the world for some bucks.

Notably, he drew comparisons with India while addressing a party meeting in Lahore from London via video link.

Interestingly, Sharif has joined ranks with his rival and Former PM Imran Khan who had also drawn comparisons between India and Pakistan. Lauding India’s decision to buy discounted oil from Russia, he praised New Delhi for its economic and diplomatic clout.

Earlier, Sharif had for the first time announced that he would return to the country on October 21 to lead the party’s political campaign in the upcoming elections. With this, he would end his over four years of self-imposed exile in the UK.

It is important to note, Nawaz Sharif was serving a seven-year jail term in the AlAzizia Mills corruption case. However, in November 2019, the then army chief Gen Bajwa helped him to leave the country on medical grounds.

In the wake of his legal troubles, the PML-N has announced that it will secure a protective bail for Nawaz Sharif before he arrives in Lahore next month. The 73-year-old Nawaz Sharif is still the supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party. He has also declared that his party will win in the upcoming general elections.

His confidence also stems from the fact that many of his former aides have been appointed to the caretaker federal cabinet. More importantly, PML-N has not joined other parties to demand elections within 90 days after the dissolution of the assemblies.

Following these developments, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari-led PPP suspects that the Sharifs have joined hands with the powerful military establishment. Consequently, several leaders of the PPP have accused the PML-N of becoming a ‘darling of the military’.

They have alleged that it is conspiring against its former allies to gain power.

Salman poses as ‘Kushawa’, rapes and impregnates Hindu woman, then forces her to abort and hides foetus in deserted area: Love Jihad in MP

0

Despite there being a strict anti-conversion law in place in Madhya Pradesh, a case of purported ‘love jihad’ has come to the fore from the Katni region of the state.

A youth named Salman befriended a Hindu girl by hiding his religious identity. He raped her for six months and impregnated her. When his identity was disclosed and the girl protested, he assaulted her and forced her to abort her child. He then buried the fetus in a deserted place and threatened her with death if she did not marry him.

After learning about the ordeal the girl’s family registered a complaint against the accused on Monday (September 18, 2023). The state police booked the accused under sections 374, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and arrested him.

According to the reports, the accused introduced himself to the girl as Kushawa, a Hindu and developed a friendship with her. He later established a relationship with her and forced her to be in sexual relations with him. He kept on forcefully sexually exploiting her for months.

The victim girl came to know about the original identity of the accused from her relatives. She was five months pregnant at that time. On confronting, the accused assaulted the girl and threatened her. He also aborted the five-month-old unborn and buried it in some deserted location.

The girl along with her family members reached the Katni police station on Monday (September 18) and lodged a police complaint against the accused. She said that she was raped, assaulted, threatened, and manhandled by the accused identified as Salman.

Police station in-charge Akhilesh Dahiya said that the remains of the buried unborn will be recovered and required tests will be performed on it. The accused will be punished after a thorough investigation, the police officer said.

Love Jihad cases in Madhya Pradesh

Earlier, several cases of love jihad have been reported from the state of Madhya Pradesh. On August 18, in Barwani of Madhya Pradesh, a Muslim youth was all set to forcibly marry a Hindu girl through Islamic Nikah rituals when the plan was busted as the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad members barged into the house where the marriage was about to take place.

Barwani SP Puneet Gahlod had confirmed the case and had said that the girl was forcibly being married to the accused. “Action has been taken against the young man under rape charges and the Freedom of Religion Act. The girl said that the accused also had physical relations with her,” the police was quoted as saying.

Also in May this year, Mohammad Faizan Khan son of Farid Khan, and resident of Haroon Colony Khajrana had befriended a Hindu girl in a coaching class and engaged in physical relations with her on the pretext of marriage.

Later, Faizan pressured her to accept Islam and when she refused, he started fighting with her. Faizan warned her of dire repercussions and threatened to kill her, her brother, and her mother. The police then registered a case under sections of rape and the MP Religious Freedom Act.

SP leader Shafiqur Rahman Barq, who compared Taliban to Indian freedom fighters, now wants separate space for Namaz in new Parliament building

On Tuesday (September 19), Samajwadi party MP Shafiqar Rahman Barq courted controversy after he demanded designated space to offer Namaz in the new Parliament building.

While speaking to the media, the 93-year-old politician said, “Naye Sansad mein Namaz ke liye bhi jagah honi chahiye (There should be a space for offering Namaz in the new Parliament). “

“There is no space to offer Namaz in this new Parliament building as well. There should have been space for prayer for Muslims in the new building at least to do ‘Allah Allah’ at the time of Namaz. But they have spread hate against Muslims. Do you think they will provide space for us?” Rahman was heard saying.

The development came on the first day of the proceedings of the Parliament in the new building. This is not the first time that the Samajwadi politician has made contentious remarks in public.

In February this year, he asserted that India has never been and would never be a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and claimed that Islam is the only true religion.

In October 2022, Shafiqur Rahman Barq went on a misgynistic rant and claimed that allowed women to walk without a burqa in public would only enhance wildness and promiscuity in men. He had also asserted that chanting Vande Mataram was against the tenets of Islam.

The Samajwadi party leader was earlier booked for hailing Taliban and comparing the radical Islamist outfit to Indian freedom fighters. He was also booked in conenction to violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.

Canada: Justin Trudeau afflicts more pain on Canada, kneels before Khalistanis to divert attention from his misgovernance

0

On Monday (18 September), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau kicked off a one-sided diplomatic war with India by falsely accusing New Delhi of killing Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. In a deliberate ploy, he made the allegations in the Canadian parliament without presenting any proof.

Nevertheless, Trudeau’s shenanigans are reminiscent of those of any politician pandering to his alliance partner Jagmeet’s NDP and Khalistani elements.

The latest accusations against India are the culmination of Trudeau’s ongoing narrative of   “foreign interference”. Notably, he raked this narrative recently when India doubled down the pressure on the Canadian government to not provide a safe haven for Khalistani terrorists.

Regarding his meeting with PM Modi, Trudeau had said that he had many conversations with PM Narendra Modi on the issue of Khalistan extremism and “foreign interference“.

With his boogie of a foreign conspiracy, he aims to achieve three key objectives. First flare up national pride by painting one common national adversary. Second, galvanise Khalistani terrorists behind its government and safeguard his Prime Ministership. Lastly to divert attention from his plummeting popularity because of his disastrous governance and domestic issues getting out of hands.

Trudeau’s disapproval rating on verse to breach all-time high

Evidently, Trudeau’s approval rating has dipped to an unprecedented low fluctuating in the low 30s while his challenger Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is gaining steam and has become Canadians’ top choice for prime minister.

According to the latest survey by the Angus Reid Institute, published in the first week of September, 32% of respondents named Poilievre as their favourite pick for prime minister, while only 17% said they still prefer Trudeau.

Among the younger Canadian voters, the Conservative Party is leading ahead of the incumbent Liberal Party. According to local Canadian media, young voters who voted decisively for Trudeau in the 2015 election are shifting en mass to the Conservative party at a pace that hasn’t been seen since the 1980s.

The latest Abacus Data survey revealed that Millennials were nearly twice as likely to vote Conservative as Liberal. Similarly, Conservatives led among the younger Generation Z. Among the 18-27 age group, Conservatives (32%) are ahead with an 8% margin.

The Angus Reid Institute survey added that Trudeau’s disapproval rating (63%) is almost double that of his approval rating (33%).

According to Morning Consultant, on a weekly moving average basis, this week, Justin Trudeau’s approval rating is around 37%.

Mind you, he hasn’t been this unpopular since early 2020, when Covid was at its peak and he was getting flakes for a series of anti-pipeline rail and border blockades. At that time, his disapproval rating reached an all-time high of 64%. Going by the current trends, his worst is yet to arrive as his popularity has only seen a downward trajectory in the past 3-4 months and his worst performance could be breached in upcoming poll surveys.

Currently, Canadians are infuriated with his 9-years’ of governance and are trading the worst phase of the economy with unaffordable housing and the rising cost of living.

The Angus Reid survey also found that the “cost of living” is the topmost priority issue for Canadian voters followed by health care and housing affordability. Whereas the Liberal Party’s major plank on environment and climate change is losing traction and is fourth on the priority list for Canadians.

Similarly, another survey, Abacus Data poll showed that “rising cost of living” is by far the number one issue for Canadians under 40.

Just like young voters, Canadian Muslim voters have been disenfranchised from the Liberal party and have drawn swords over the imposing of woke agenda on the community.

In a strongly worded letter, Canadian Muslim Organisations and the Canadian Council of Imams have extended in principle support to the 1 million March for Children which is said to have been kick-started by a man named Kamel El-Cheikh as a counter to Trudeau’s woke agenda.

In a written statement, the Muslim organisations jointly said, “Canada is regrettably moving in a direction where advocates of sexual and gender ethics contrary to the Islamic faith are going beyond their limits by imposing their worldview on our children, often without the knowledge or consent of parents.”

It added, “Enforcing agreement with beliefs and practices that are incompatible with the Islamic moral code is harmful to our children. This means that mandated celebration or affirmation of LGBTQ, including direct or indirect impositions to participate in “Pride” events and activities, constitutes an infringement on the legal rights of Muslims.”

The Muslim ogranisations demanded that every child deserves a coercion-free educational environment, where they are not forced to engage in activities contrary to their faith.

This is not the first time that Muslims and the Trudeau government have drawn swords against each other on the issue of the LGBTQ+ community. Earlier, in July, many Muslim outfits staged protests where they not only attacked gender ideology but also directly criticised Trudeau for presiding over a woke agenda that they strongly reject. ‘Fuck Trudeau’ flags were all over the place at these parents’ protests.

In one interaction, a Muslim individual asked Trudeau saying, “I ask you, Mr. Prime Minister, please protect our culture, our belief, the sin that you are doing to them.”

However, Trudeau has deployed similar tactics against Muslims that he used against the Freedom Convoy in January 2022. Blaming far-rights groups in the US for “disinformation” against the LGBTQ+ community and against his government among the Muslim community, he insinuated that the protesters are gullible and misguided.

Challenges within the party are brewing for Trudeau

In the 2015 election victory for the Liberal party, young voters and Muslims played a predominant role but recent surveys have shown a tectonic shift in these voting blocs.

Resultantly, while earlier polls noted that conservatives have edged past the Liberal party, they still predicted that the latter could form a minority government in future elections. But things have changed dramatically. Support has swelled for the Conservative party in both Ontario and Atlantic Canada such that the most likely outcome in any future election would be a Conservative majority, National Post asserted.

As per the latest projections from the website 338Canada, if elections are held in the near future, the Tories would take a majority of 179 seats against just 103 seats for the Liberals and 21 for the NDP.

In this background, the Liberal party held a three-day meeting in London, Ontario to address the glaring challenges the Trudeau government is facing currently including high inflation and the rising cost of living.

Regarding these domestic issues, Trudeau said, “There is grumbling across the country. … the cost of living is causing enormous difficulties.”

On the issue of the meeting of the Liberal caucus, he said that he and fellow legislators would be having frank conversations about how best to address the government’s challenges.

While speaking to CBC, many Liberal members of Parliament before going into the national caucus said that they’re facing blowback from voters at the doorsteps. They added that they hope the prime minister and his inner circle listen to their concerns before it’s too late.

Before the meeting, several MPs told CBC News that they don’t feel the prime minister listens to their views or solicits their advice.

On the issue of confidentiality, more than a dozen MPs said that they don’t believe the government’s current communication strategy is working. They said that they would urge PM Trudeau to offer a fresh plan to Canadians on the top issues of the day on which the government is performing badly.

According to local Canadian media reports, there is churn within the liberal party regarding the sliding popularity of both Trudeau and his government.

Regional Liberal caucuses have asked David Coletto, chair and CEO of Abacus Data, to give independent presentations about how their party is polling, CBC reported.

According to the CBC report, Coletto said he’s telling MPs that if an election were called today, the Liberals probably would lose. He said, “Their reaction to that isn’t great.”

He added that the main drivers of the polling trend are angst caused by the cost of living, record-high inflation, and rising interest rates.

With his back to the wall, domestic issues going haywire, and fear of his party leaders breaking ranks, Trudeau could only conjure the idea of afflicting more pain on the country, though at the global stage, to momentarily divert attention from his misgovernance. And even in the case of his unceremonious ouster by his own leaders, he has laid down a path from where he could be projected as a martyr of foreign conspiracy, putting him in league of Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan.

33% quota, rotation of seats after each delimitation, 15 year effective period: All you need to know about Women Reservation Bill

On Tuesday (September 19), the Modi government introduced the Women Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha, coinciding with the first session of proceedings at the new Parliament building.

While speaking about the matter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “For many years, there have been extensive discussions and debates on women’s reservations.”

“In 1996, a bill related to this was introduced for the first time. During Atal Ji’s tenure, the Women’s Reservation Bill was presented several times, but it couldn’t gather enough support for passage, which is why that dream remained unfulfilled,” he added.

Titled the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eighth Amendment), the bill [pdf] was tabled in the Lower House of the Parliament by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.

The bill will amend Article 239AA of the Indian Constitution, which deals with the governance structure of Delhi. 1/3rd of the total seats reserved for the Scheduled Castes (SC) community in the Delhi Legislative Assembly will now be reserved for women.

Besides, 1/3rd of the total seats in the Delhi Legislative Assembly will also be reserved for women. This will include the 1/3rd seats reserved for women belonging to the SC community. There are 70 seats in the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, out of which 12 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.

Impact on seat sharing in Lok Sabha and State Assemblies

The Women’s Reservation Bill will also amend Article 330 of the Indian Constitution, which provides reservations for the SC and ST communities in the Lok Sabha.

Similar to the Delhi Assembly, 1/3rd of the total seats reserved for the SC/ST community in the lower House of the Parliament will now be reserved for women 1/3rd of the total seats in Lok Sabha will also be reserved for women (including 1/3rd seats reserved for women from SC/ST community).

At present, there are 412 unreserved seats and 131 reserved seats in the Lok Sabha (84 for Schedule Castes and 47 for Scheduled Tribes). The bill will not impact the seat sharing in the Rajya Sabha or the Upper House of the Parliament.

The bill will introduce 1/3rd or 33% reservation for women (both for reserved and unreserved seats) in the Legislative Assemblies of all States through the amendment of Article 332 of the Indian Constitution, which provides reservation for SCs and STs in Vidhan Sabhas.

Rotation of Seats, 15-year effective period and impact of current seat sharing

At the same time, the bill provides for the rotation of seats across the Delhi Assembly, State Assemblies and the Lower House of the Parliament after every exercise of delimitation. It will also remain in effect for a period of 15 years, post which it can be extended by the Parliament.

It must be mentioned that the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eighth Amendment) Bill will not affect the current seat sharing in the Delhi Assembly, Lok Sabha and other State Assemblies.

Article 334A(4) introduced through this legislation makes it clear –

Nothing in this article shall affect any representation in the House of the People, the Legislative Assembly of a State or the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi until the dissolution of the then existing House of the People, Legislative Assembly of a State or the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Women’s reservation bill to affect 2029 elections

Having said that, the historic Women’s Reservation Bill is unlikely to impact the 2024 General Assembly Elections. This is because the bill will only come into effect after 2027 when a census will be conducted and existing constituencies will be redrawn.

A new article, 334A (1) inserted through the bill states –

“Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provision of this Pan or Part VIII, the provisions of the Constitution relating to the reservation of seats for women in the House of the People, the Legislative Assembly of a State and the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall come into effect after an exercise of delimitation is undertaken for this purpose after the relevant figures for the first census taken after commencement of the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-eighth Amendment) Act, 2023 have been published and shall cease to have effect on the expiration of a period of fifteen years from such commencement. Constituencies will be redrawn only after the next Census, which is likely in 2027. The Census was meant to be held last in 2021, but was delayed because of Covid.

As such, the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eighth Amendment) bill will have no bearing on the 2023 Lok Sabha election.

As PM Justin Trudeau openly sides with Khalistani terrorists here are eight anti-India activities carried out by them in Canada in 2023

0

On September 18th, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of killing Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil and expelled a top Indian diplomat. Trudeau said, without offering any evidence, that Canada is looking into ‘credible information’ about Indian agents being involved in Nijjar’s death. The Canadian PM’s outrageous and shocking allegations were strongly refuted by India.

In response to Canada’s hostile behaviour towards India and open support to anti-India terrorists, India summoned Canadian envoy Cameron MacKay and informed him of the government’s decision to expel a senior Canadian diplomat.

India-Canada relations have been at an all-time low for some time now, owing largely to India’s wrath at Ottawa turning a blind eye to Khalistani extremism on its soil. With such a reckless remark by Canada’s Prime Minister, bilateral ties between the two countries are bound to deteriorate further.

However, Trudeau’s remark today underscores India’s position that, as a result of its appeasement policy, Canada has always rolled out the red carpet for Khalistani terrorists, resulting in them using Canadian soil for anti-India activities on numerous occasions.

Below we have compiled a list of eight incidents this year in which Khalistani terrorists incited violence and carried out anti-India activities on Canadian soil, with the tactical assistance of Canadian authorities. Please note that this is an indicative list and the actual number of such incidents is likely to be far higher.

September 11, 2023: Khalistani separatists in Canada issue fresh threats to Indian diplomats in Ottawa

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the outlawed terrorist group Sikh Forum for Justice, made a public appearance at the Khalistan referendum event organised by SFJ at a gurdwara in British Columbia, Canada. In it, the Khalsitani terrorist delivered an inciteful speech calling for ‘Balkanising India’. He was seen escorted by a team of security guards.

Notably, the referendum was organised in Canada on the same day when Canadian PM Justin Trudeau visited India to attend the G20 Summit, where PM Narendra Modi conveyed India’s strong concerns about the continuing anti-India activities of extremist elements in Canada.

In the video, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Khalistani terrorist heading the Sikh Forum for Justice and henchman of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI held PM Modi, HM Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval and EAM S Jaishankar responsible for the killing of his close aide Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the Khalistani terrorist who was shot dead by two unidentified persons in Surrey in Canada’s British Columbia.

September 8, 2023: Shri Mata Bhameshwari Durga temple vandalised in British Columbia, defaced with ‘Punjab is not India’ slogans

On September 8, Khalistani terrorists vandalised the Shree Mata Bhameshwari Durga Devi Society in Surrey British Columbia. Pictures emerged on social media showing anti-India graffiti with the slogan “Punjab is not India” sprayed on the walls of the Hindu temple.

August 12, 2023: Khalistan supporters defaced a temple in Surrey with anti-Hindu and anti-India graffiti

On August 12, two Khalistan supporters defaced a temple in Surrey with anti-Hindu and anti-India graffiti. The Khalistani terrorists had placed posters at the entrance of the temple in a bid to terrorise the Hindu community. The poster advocated for a referendum pertaining to “the assassination of Hardeep Nijjar” and investigating India’s role in the terrorist’s assassination.

July 31, 2023: Pro-Khalistani elements carry out anti-India campaign in British Columbia

Pro-Khalistan elements in Canada stepped up their poster campaign against India’s top diplomats in the province of British Columbia. Posters with the word ‘Wanted’ were displayed in various locations throughout Surrey. It referred to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

July 14, 2023: Shri Bhagavad Gita Park signboard defaced with anti-India graffiti in Brampton

On July 14, signage at the Shri Bhagavad Gita Park in the city of Brampton in the Greater Toronto Area or GTA was vandalised. According to reports, the park sign was spraypainted with graffiti targeting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

July 8, 2023: Khalistanis stomp the Indian flag with shoes, assault an Indian trying to save the flag

On 8th July, pro-Khalistani elements participated in protest rallies against India, claiming the Indian agencies were behind the assassination of Khalistani terrorists and ‘Sikhs For Justice’ leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. These rallies were held in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

During the rally, Khalistani elements desecrated the Indian flag. Videos went viral on social media wherein they were seen burning two Indian flags. In one of the videos, a pro-India man was brutally assaulted by Khalistanis when he tried to pick up the Indian flag from under their shoes.

A similar incident was reported in Surrey, where hundreds of Khalistanis gathered at the protest site. In a video shared by ANI Editor Smita Prakash, Khalistanis were seen holding the Khalistani flag while placing a torn Indian flag on the railing. They beat up the flag with a shoe with slogans of ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ in the background.

April 5, 2023: Satyanarayan temple in Windsor vandalised

On April 5 (local time), another Hindu temple in Canada was vandalised by anti-India elements. The walls of the Satyanarayan temple located in the 1700 block of Northway Avenue of Windsor were damaged. The police found graffiti of anti-Indian slurs and comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi written on the wall. The police have released CCTV footage of the incidents in which masked miscreants were seen painting graffiti on the temple walls.

March 23, 2023: Protests Outside Indian Consulate in Vancouver

According to Canadian media reports, hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the Indian consulate in Vancouver over demands for an independent Sikh state.

February 15, 2023: Ram Mandir defaced with anti-India graffiti in Mississauga, Canada

On February 15, the Ram Mandir in Mississauga was defaced with anti-India graffiti. The miscreants wrote slogans like ‘Declare Modi Terrorist (BBC)’, ‘Sant Bhindrawala is martyr’ and ‘Hindustan Murdabad’on the walls of the Hindu Mandir. The Consulate General of India in Toronto condemned the defacing of Ram Mandir and requested Canadian authorities to investigate the incident and take prompt action against the perpetrators. “We strongly condemn the defacing of Ram Mandir in Mississauga with anti-India graffiti. We have requested Canadian authorities to investigate the incident and take prompt action on perpetrators,” tweeted the Consulate General of India in Toronto.

January 31, 2023: Khalistanis deface Hindu temple with anti-India graffiti in Brampton

A Hindu temple, Gauri Shankar Mandir, was desecrated by Khalistani extremists in Brampton city in Ontario province of Canada.

As per reports, the walls of the temple were defaced with anti-India graffiti by Khalistanis associated allegedly with the banned outfit, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ). The vicious slogan of ‘Khalistan Zindabad, Hindustan Murdabad’ was found spray-painted on the outer wall of Gauri Shankar Mandir.

Canada has become a hotbed of anti-India and anti-Hindu activities as well as a safe haven for Khalistani terrorists and criminals. India has time and again sent out strong messages to the Justin Trudeau-led Canadian government urging them to halt extremist activities in the country, however, the Trudeau government due to its vote bank politics has refrained from taking any concrete action against the same.

The Trudeau government has offered a standard excuse that people in his country have the right to assemble and express their views peacefully and without violating the law, despite India raising the issue of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) run by Sikh extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun with the Canadian government and national security agencies.

Today, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau touched a new low when in his deliberation to appease these pro-Khalistani elements for his vote bank politics, accused the Indian government of involvement in killing Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil.

Humiliated by G20 backlash, Justin Trudeau was expected to create some drama against India: How one Canadian parliamentarian predicted it

On Monday, September 18, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau further damaged India-Canada’s already strained relations by blaming India for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. India, in a strong statement, categorically denied Trudeau’s allegations. The claim made by the Canadian PM sparked an escalating controversy, with both Ottawa and New Delhi expelling senior diplomats.

Interestingly, amid the heightened tensions between the two countries caused by Trudeau’s outrageous remark, Canadian Parliamentarian Shuv Majumdar almost predicted that Justin Trudeau would pick up a fight with India after the backlash he received not only from India and other world leaders but even from his own country for his visit during the G20 Summit in Delhi.

The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit was held in New Delhi on 9–10 September 2023. On September 11, Shuv Majumdar took to X, formally Twitter, to write, “The countdown begins now on how long it takes for the Trudeau government, Liberal insiders, and the woke establishment to vilify the world’s largest democracy.”

The Canadian Parliamentarian’s post was in response to the Canadian local media Toronto Sun’s scathing coverage of Trudeau’s failure to garner attention in New Delhi. The local Canadian media had chastised its Prime Minister for being overlooked by Indian and other foreign leaders during the G20 Summit.

Notably, Shuvaloy ‘Shuv’ Majumdar, MP is a Canadian politician from the Conservative Party of Canada who has been Member of Parliament for Calgary Heritage since the July 24, 2023 by-election.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ignored and left stranded in India during the G20 summit, reviled back home

It may be recalled that during the G20 Summit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had held bilateral meetings with world leaders including US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others, but he did not hold a formal bilateral meeting with Trudeau. Denying Trudeau’s request to hold a bilateral meeting PM Modi had instead held a ‘pull-aside meeting on the sidelines’ with him wherein the Indian Prime Minister expressed strong concern over Khalistani extremism in Canada.

A pull-aside meeting is not a formal bilateral meeting and is ranked below a bilateral meeting. A pull-aside meeting can take place whenever two leaders meet.

Moreover, the Canadian PM was also seen missing from G20’s Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA) which all other major world powers had attended. He also skipped the dinner for the G20 leaders on September 9, with the Canadian prime minister’s office refusing to say why.

Canadian PM was seen missing from G20’s Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA)

On Saturday, September 9, on the first day of the two-day G20 Summit, PM Modi was seen signalling Trudeau to keep moving after a brief interaction as the Indian PM welcomed world leaders at Bharat Mandapam – the venue of the G20 Leaders’ Summit.

While the Prime Minister met all the heads of state with the G20 backdrop, the meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister did not have a G20 backdrop in the post shared by PM Modi on his official Twitter handle.

Moreover, the caption for all the meetings tweeted by the Prime Minister on X read “G20 Summit” whereas the caption on the post about meeting with Trudeau read “sidelines of G20 Summit”.

In fact, when Trudeau had arrived in India with his son Xavier ahead of the G20 Summit, Delhi had not even put the customary “welcome” note, as it had for other international leaders. When he arrived, he was welcomed by a Minister of State rather than a Cabinet minister, which was also a notable distinction.

If all of this wasn’t enough to make for an unpleasant visit, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was forced to extend his stay in New Delhi after his plane broke down. While being stranded in Delhi, Trudeau remained holed up in his hotel room – he had accommodation at The Lalit – and refused to move out of the room. The Ministry of External Affairs had then confirmed that they had received no request from Canada for any engagement and media reports suggested that there were no engagements at the local high commission either.

The way Justin Trudeau conducted himself and the treatment he received not only by India but also by the world leaders who were hosted and led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the two-day Summit in Delhi was embarrassing for Canada. The Canadian media and opposition party leaders soon turned their guns on Trudeau’s visit to India.

Canadian Daily Toronto Sun mocked their PM for the embarrassment he brought to the country. It published a front-page story with the headline THIS WAY OUT etched in a big and bold font across a picture depicting the said incident. Furthermore, the subheader on the published graphic read, “Trudeau finds he has few friends at G20 summit in India”.

Canadian opposition MP Pierre Poilievre used the picture posted by Toronto Sun and wrote on X, “Now Trudeau gets to experience the same flight delays he has imposed on Canadians through his mismanagement of federal airports.”

“Putting partisanship aside, no one likes to see a Canadian prime minister repeatedly humiliated & trampled upon by the rest of the world,” added Poilievre.

Similarly, using the same Toronto Sun post, Canadian Parliamentarian Shuv Majumdar predicted a week ago that the entire backlash Trudeau received for his visit to India during G20 would soon lead to Trudeau picking a fight with India, and Trudeau’s recent reckless remark has simply proven the Canadian Parliamentarian correct.

Anantnag encounter culminates after 7 days, LeT commander Uzair Khan and another terrorist neutralised

0

The Anantnag encounter finally culminated on Tuesday, September 19 with the death of two terrorists including Uzair Khan.

Uzair Ahmad Khan (28), a native of Nagam Kokernag in Anantnag, was reported missing on July 26, 2022. Uzair is believed to be joined by two foreign terrorists, according to intelligence authorities.

Vijay Kumar, ADG Kashmir, confirmed the death of LeT commander, terrorist Uzair Khan, and asked civilians not to approach the hideouts until a search and combing operation is over.

“LeT commander Uzair Killed, body, and weapon have been recovered. one more dead body has been seen. The search operation is still on. We will search for more blind cells… We appeal to people not to visit the spot till we clear it. A total of 2-3 were believed to be there. Maybe we’ll find another body. The second body was seen. We will find more spots and destroy it. Three officers and one soldier have been martyred,” Vijay Kumar said.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army has obtained DNA samples from a charred body retrieved from the scene. The Army believes it is of an Army person identified as Pradeep. This brings the total number of losses to four: three Indian Army personnel and one Jammu and Kashmir Police officer.

Since the body of the last soldier was retrieved on Monday, September 18, evening, the Army launched the final push and concluded the operation on Day 7. A search operation is still underway to locate the two or three terrorists who may be hiding in the vicinity.

The search is underway in the aftermath of a 100-hour fire war between Pakistan-backed terrorists and security forces in Kokernag, Anantnag district, South Kashmir.

The operation to wipe out terrorists, which entered its seventh day on Tuesday, September 19, has been underway in Anantnag’s Gadole forest area since Wednesday, September 13. Three brave security forces personnel, consisting of Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak, and Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat, lost their lives in the operation.

According to reports, security personnel employed drones and helicopters to monitor the dense wooded area with many cave-like hideouts.

On Sunday, September 17, the police borders were widened to the adjoining Posh Kreeri region as a precautionary measure to ensure that terrorists do not infiltrate civilian communities.

Punjab: Congress leader Baljinder Singh Balli shot dead in Moga, Canada-based Khalistani terrorist claims responsibility for the attack

On Monday, September 18, a local leader of the Congress party was shot dead at his home in Dala village in Moga district of Punjab. According to the initial investigation the Congress person identified as Baljinder Singh Balli (45), commonly known as ‘namberdar’ was shot twice. Police said that one bullet punctured his chest, while the other struck his thigh. Balli was the Congress party’s Ajitwal village block president. The two assailants arrived on a motorbike and killed Balli.

Hours after the murder, fugitive gangster, and terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill aka Arsh Dalla, who is also from Dala village but is believed to be hiding in Canada, came to Facebook and claimed responsibility for the attack. Arsh Dalla accused Balli in a message posted on Facebook. He blamed Balli for introducing him to the world of crime and for ‘harassing his mother’.

The police have recovered CCTV footage of the incident in which one of the accused can be seen barging into the house while Balli was standing on the porch. He fired a couple of bullets at Balli after which the latter happened to collapse. The Police were immediately informed and the victim was taken to the hospital but it was too late. Balli had succumbed to the bullet injuries.

In his Facebook post, Arsh Dalla wrote, “I am responsible for the murder of Balli in Dala village because it was my own village’s politics which had made me tread this path. This man (Balli) was responsible for keeping my mother in CIA (police) custody for a week and he also got my friends arrested. He was hand in glove with police and got my home vandalized. He destroyed my home just to gain his own afsar shaahi. My life’s aim was not to live my own life but to kill him. If we wished, we would have killed his child too but that child was nowhere at fault. Those who are sympathizing with him, their homes are also not far for us.”

Partap Singh Bajwa, a senior Congress politician has vehemently condemned the incident. “In a harrowing incident, the Congress president from Ajitwal block of district Moga, Baljinder Singh Balli (45) was shot dead at his residence today. I condemn this incident in the strongest possible terms. My heart goes out to the family of the victim,” Bajwa wrote on Twitter (X).

Dala was listed as a terrorist by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in January this year after the MHA discovered his involvement in terrible crimes including murder, extortion, and targeted killings, in addition to terror activities.

The incident came to the fore on the same day when the Canadian government accused India of its involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey.

However, the Canadian claims were fiercely refuted by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). “We reject the Prime Minister of Canada’s statement in Parliament, as well as the Foreign Minister’s statement. Allegations of the Government of India’s involvement in any act of violence in Canada are absurd and motivated,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) asserted in a statement.

The MEA response came after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed the country’s security forces were looking into a possible link between the Indian government and the June 18 shooting death of Najjar, a Canadian citizen, outside a gurdwara in Surrey by two unidentified gunmen. Trudeau also stated that he raised the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 Summit.

In the given case, the investigation has begun, according to Moga SSP J Elanchezhian. He stated that the alleged Facebook post from Arsh Dalla’s account was being investigated and confirmed. An FIR for murder has been filed at the Mehna police station in Punjab.

Reportedly, in May this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended two close aides of Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, a Canada-based designated terrorist of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). It is notable that Canada-based Arsh Dalla has been designated as an ‘individual terrorist’ by the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 9 this year.

Consumer electronic brand boAt withdraws sponsorship from upcoming tour of Canada-based singer and Khalistan sympathiser Shubh

On Tuesday (September 19), Indian consumer electronic brand boAt announced its decision to withdraw its sponsorship from the upcoming tour of Canada-based singer and Khalistan supporter Shubneet Singh alias Shubh. Notably, his shows will be held from the 23rd to the 25th of September at Cordelia Cruises, Mumbai.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), boAt informed about its decision asserting that it is first and foremost an Indian brand. Citing the controversial past of Shubh, who had shared a distorted map of India to express solidarity with Khalistani terrorists earlier this year, the company withdrew its association with the Canadian singer.

The company said, “At boAt, while our commitment to the incredible music community runs deep, we are first & foremost a true Indian brand. Therefore, when we became aware of the remarks made by artist Shubh earlier this year, we chose to withdraw our sponsorship from the tour.”

The company added that it will continue to support emerging artists and foster a vibrant music culture in India.

Earlier, on September 16, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members removed posters for Shubh’s upcoming event. BJP’s youth wing, BJYM, is protesting against his program and called on the organisers to cancel his events. BJYM categorically asserted that there is no space for any Khalistan supporter in India.

Apart from issuing appeals to fans and organisers to cancel and boycott his events, BJYM President Tajinder Singh Tiwana also submitted a memorandum to the police regarding the same.

In this memorandum, he accused Shubh of sharing a distorted map of India on social media and demanded a case to be registered against him. Tiwana highlighted that Shubh had posted the story on Instagram on March 23, 2023. In this, he had shared the map of India without Jammu-Kashmir and North-Eastern states.

BJYM President Tiwana said, “There is no space for Khalistanis who are the enemy of integrity and unity of India. We won’t let Canadian singer Shubh perform on the auspicious land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mumbai…If no proper action is taken then the organisers will have to face our opposition.”

Notably, earlier in the year, when Punjab Police launched a manhunt to nab Khalistani terrorist, Amritpal Singh, Shubh openly came out in support of Khalistani elements and shared a distorted map in which several North Indian states including Punjab and J&K were not included.
