Kanpur Encounter: One more aide of Vikas Dubey and his partner arrested, may reveal black money secrets

The police have arrested Jaykant Vajpayee alias Jay Vajpayee and his partner Prashant Shukla on Sunday night. Vajpayee is a close aide of Vikas Dubey and was involved in the Kanpur shootout case. Police believe that Jay Vajpayee used to maintain accounts of Vikas Dubey’s money. His arrest may reveal the details about Dubey’s black money secrets. Police alleged that Prashant Shukla was also involved in the murder of eight policemen. Both of them were called by Dubey on 2nd July to reach Bikaru Village where the incident happened.

Kanpur police said that they came to know that Vajpayee gave Dubey around two lakh rupees and 25 revolver cartridges on 2nd July. He also arranged luxury vehicles to transport Dubey and his gang to a safe place after they killed the policemen. However, the police acted swiftly, and they could not use the vehicles as per plan. Some of those vehicles were recovered later by the police during the search.

Who is Jay Vajpayee

It is believed that Jay and Dubey knew each other from the last eight years. Vajpayee used to work at a printing press where he earned Rs 3500 a month. Dubey met him at the printing press and became friends with him. Later, both of them started buying and selling disputed properties. Vajpayee reportedly helped Dubey circulating his black money in various businesses, including real estate and giving money on interest. He earned in millions while working with Dubey. Currently, he owns a pet shop in a posh mall that is believed to be one of the most expensive pet showrooms in the city. According to police, Vajpayee has a lot of property in Lucknow and Kanpur.

Dubey’s properties under ED’s scanner

Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently investigating the web of Dubey’s properties in across states. The department is also looking into the properties bought under different names, including that of Jay Vajpayee. According to the sources, there might be more than two dozen plots and houses in Kanpur, Uttrakhand, Noida and Mumbai owned by Vajpayee. It is believed that Jay also has two properties, worth 25 crores in Dubai and Bangkok. He was believed to be involved in money laundering for an industrialist in Kanpur as well.

The Kanpur Encounter

On the night of 2nd and 3rd July, three-team of UP police went to Bikaru village to arrest Vikas Dubey. He got a tip-off about the raid and planned an ambush on the police teams. He and his gang members killed eight policemen and injured several. CO Devendra Mishra, who was leading the operation, was among the eight officers who died in the attack. Dubey was arrested in Ujjain a few days later. The police vehicle met with an accident in which he was being brought back to Kanpur. He tried to escape and fired a few shots at the policemen while escaping. Police retaliated and shot him dead in an encounter.

Heavy rains damage Randi Ki Masjid in Delhi. This is why it was called so

Early morning on Sunday, one of the domes of ‘Randi Ki Masjid’ aka ‘Rundi Ki Masjid’, the 19th century mosque of Mubarak Begum came crashing down. Mohammed Zahid, the muezzin heard a loud noise at around 6:45 AM when he came out to see that the central dome of the mosque had fallen down.

Zahid believes the dome came crashing because of lightning after heavy rains lashed the national capital early on the intervening night of 18th and 19th July, 2020. However, despite the damage, the prayers took place on Sunday as people turned up in large number to see the destruction.

Randi Ki Masjid

The mosque, Randi Ki Masjid, was built in Delhi’s Hauz Qazi Chowk and is often referred to as ‘courtesan’s mosque’. The mosque was built by a woman, Mubarak Begum, who was believed to be one of the wives of Sir David Ochterlony, the first British resident of Delhi.

According to Condé Nest Traveller, in the lane of Chawri Bazaar in old delhi, the ‘tawaifs’ (courtesans) would entertain the army soldiers. The ‘Randis’ (yes, the same derogatory word) would rank the highest tawaif. As per the report, the ‘Randis’ were like ‘divas’ who would sing, dance and recite poetries and the nawabs would come to them to learn the art of conversation.

Eventually under the British India, the rich and powerful would visit the ‘Randis’ who had their ears on the ground. “Randis chose and refused admirers as they liked. They weren’t looked down upon, but flaunted by men who entered long-term relationships with them.” writes CNTraveller.

Sir David Ochterlony built the mosque in her honour. Since for the first time, a nautch girl, and not a Mughal queen, had commissioned a mosque, it came to be known as ‘Randi Ki Masjid’.

Taapsee Pannu’s befitting U-turn: Three years after saying it doesn’t exist, claims she lost work because of nepotism

The ‘Badla’ actress, Taapsee Pannu, is known for her ‘befitting replies’ to netizens on social media. When she was recently asked about her opinion on the raging debate of nepotism in Bollywood, Taapsee conceded that it is difficult for a person to survive in the industry without a Godfather. She emphasised that it takes longer to build connections and get opportunities for an outsider than a privileged actor born and raised within the film fraternity. Tapasee Pannu also revealed that she had ‘lost opportunities’ due to nepotism.

Taapsee Pannu made contradictory claims on Nepotism

But earlier, in an interview dating back to 2017, actress Taapsee Pannu had claimed that even though nepotism existed in Bollywood, it did not imply the end of one’s career. “You might lose out on some projects because of nepotism, but something else will come your way. You can’t keep blaming nepotism for not getting work,” the actress was quoted as saying. She went on to claim that wasn’t passionate about films and how it worked in her favour. Taapsee emphasised, “You will get your fair share of work despite having no connections in the industry and I am the living example of that. “

From patronising others in 2017 to not ‘blame’ nepotism for not getting opportunities by citing her example to conceding the difficulty in surviving in Bollywood without a Godfather and losing out on movies herself, life has indeed come to a full circle for Taapsee Pannu. The actress might have had a change of heart but the contradiction and the blatant U-turn is distinctly visible to even those seeking for a ‘befitting reply’ from her.

Nepotism in Bollywood

Following the untimely death of 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput, a debate has sparked online regarding the ill-treatment of outsiders in Bollywood. Netizens had accused the film fraternity of favourtism and nepotism. Actress Sonam Kapoor defended nepotism and her privilege by claiming that her father worked hard for it. She had asserted that charges of nepotism against her were not an insult but ‘karma’. Lashing out against nepotism, Kangana Ranaut added that he was treated as a ‘leftover’ by the same lobby that was shedding crocodile tears after his tragic death. “Is this possible that the ill-treatment meted out to him has no connection to his suicide?”, she asked.

Police in search for ‘Drone Boy’ Prathap NM after he goes missing, FIR registered against him for violating rules

Days after the so-called ‘drone boy’ Prathap NM’s fake claims of building 600 drones from e-waste and receiving numerous awards for them were exposed by OpIndia, he has landed in fresh trouble. According to a report by Deccan Herald, on Sunday Karnataka police lodged an FIR against him for violating quarantine rules to appear in a TV interview to respond to allegations against him, and also for going missing when police and health workers went looking for him.

Reportedly, Prathap NM had returned to Bengaluru from Hyderabad just a day before he appeared in the program on Kannada channel BTV on Thursday, where his fake claims were exposed more instead of being able to defend them. He had even flaunted before anchor Kirik Keerthi that he has come out despite being ordered home quarantine due to his inter-state travel a day ago, and had even shown his Home Quarantine sticker on the live TV show.

This violation of rules was not taken lightly by the state government, and based on his admission on TV, the Bengaluru Bruhat Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) filed a case against him. His appearance at the TV studio has been seen as a major violation of rules during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, because if he is found to be COVID-19 positive, everybody who came in close contact with him in the TV studio and elsewhere will be in risk. It is being reported that he is in high risk because he had come into contact of Coronavirus positive person.

After the telecast of the show, police and quarantine squad members went to question Prathap for his violation at his home in Anjanapura in Bengaluru on Saturday, but he was found missing. Moreover, his phone was also found switched off. His phone record showed that his last known location was near the Jnanabharathi campus in Kengeri, 16 kilometres away, Talaghattapura Police Inspector Ramappa said.

Police said they have formed three teams to track down Prathap. “Although his phone has been turned off, we have his call records and are now calling everybody on that list. They are cooperating with our inquiries,” Ramappa said.

After this, an FIR was lodged against Prathap NM at the Talaghattapura police station under the National Disaster Management Act. He has been charged with two offences, violating quarantine rules to attend the TV interview, and switching off his phone and running away to avoid being captured by quarantine squad.

Police said that Prathap will be placed in Institutional Quarantine at a facility after his capture. His punishment will be decided by courts as per law. If found guilty, he may face a jail term up to one year and/or fine.

During the interview on BTV on Thursday, Prathap had shown certificates he claims to have won for winning drone competitions in Japan and Germany. But both the organisations of the events where he claims to have won the awards have clarified that they didn’t organise any such competition and didn’t give any such award. While Prathap had refused to show any drone build by him, he had shown a photograph a drone on his smartphone. But German drone manufacture BillzEye – Multicoptersysteme has issued a statement saying that the drone seen in the photo is developed by them, and Prathap had visited an expo in Hannover, Germany where the drone was displayed and he had got photographed with the drone at their booth. All other drones seen photographs with Prathap as also clearly state-of-the-art drones made by various companies, and not made from e-waste.

Fact-Check: No, Arun Pathak, who pulled off the ‘tonsure stunt’, did not quit the Shiv Sena 8 years ago as claimed. Read details

An alleged Nepali man was tonsured and forced to shout ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Nepal PM Murdabad’ days after Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had claimed Lord Ram was born in Nepal and the real Ayodhya was in Nepal. In the video, which went viral on social media platforms, an unidentified man seen sitting without any clothes on the upper part of his body near a river in Varanasi was confronted by a mob led by a man named Arun Pathak.

The mob made the ‘Nepali man’ shout slogans against PM Oli and Nepal. While shaving his head, he was made to praise India for providing Nepalis livelihood opportunities. Initially, the ‘secular-liberal’ media outlets blamed ‘Hindu outfits’ for the incident, however, later it came to light that the man responsible for performing the said act on the Nepali man was one Arun Pathak, who belonged to the Shiv Sena, currently a ‘secular’ party after its recent alliance with the Congress and the NCP.

However, it was later revealed that the victim was not a ‘Nepali man’ but an Indian citizen, who was identified as Dharmendra Singh. The Varanasi police confirmed that the whole incident was a pre-planned act.

The alleged victim Dharmendra Singh, was contacted by Shiv Sena leader Arun Pathak’s men on July 16 and was told that his services are required for a couple of hours at Ganga Ghat. He was misinformed that there was some event where he would be tonsured and made to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. For his services, he would be given Rs.1000.

Shiv Sena distance itself from Arun Pathak

Following a massive embarrassment to Shiv Sena after one of its leaders caught spreading anti-India propaganda, the Uddhav Thackeray-led ‘secular’ party has now distanced themselves from Arun Pathak to claim that he does not belong to Shiv Sena.

In a tweet, Shiv Sena on Sunday claimed that he was sacked from the party eight years ago for anti-party activities.

Fact check

The claims made by Shiv Sena that Arun Pathak does not belong to Shiv Sena and he was sacked by the party eight years ago is a blatant lie.

Several photographs posted by the individual on his social media profile expose his association with Shiv Sena, at least till 2019. Pathak has posted several images along with Shiv Sena leaders.

In the below image, he can be seen sitting next to Shiv Sena MLA Sunil Raut. The graffiti of former Shiv Sena leader Balasaheb Thackeray is also visible in the post, which was posted by Arun Pathak on October 18, 2019, a few days before Maharashtra legislative elections.

In another image posted by Arun Pathak, he can be seen wearing Shiv Sena party shawl along with another party leader. The image was posted by the man on October 9, 2019, less than a year from the incident contrary to the claims of Shiv Sena that he was sacked eight years ago.

Similarly, he can be seen wearing a similar Shiv Sena ‘gamcha’. The image was posted on July 16, 2019.

Most importantly, Shiv Sena leader Arun Pathak was seen standing next to none other than Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In the image, it can be seen that the two of them are gleefully greeting each other confirming that he was in good terms with the party and its leadership. May be he was not sacked at all.

The image was posted by Pathak himself on April 26, 2019.

From the above images, it can be categorically stated that Arun Pathak is very much an active member of the Shiv Sena party, contrary to the claims of the Uddhav Thackeray-led party that he was sacked eight years ago.

ISRO’s giant autoclave completes an almost year-long journey by road from Nasik to Thiruvananthapuram

A 70-ton industrial autoclave meant to be installed at ISRO’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) at Vattiyoorkavu finally reached its destination city on Saturday. It is expected to reach the space centre on Sunday. The vehicle has covered four states in almost a year. A staff member travelling with the cargo told ANI that they started the journey on 8th July 2019 from Maharashtra. They travelled across four states and have finally reached Thiruvananthapuram.

The cargo has a height and width of 7.5 metres and 6.65 metres respectively. Unique Chemoplant Equipments manufactured it at its Ambarnath factory. The company specializes in heavy-duty industrial machinery. ISRO has paid around nine crores for the equipment that includes transportation. This autoclave is going to be the largest one installed at ISRO’s facility at VSSC. The autoclave can’t be dismantled to be transported in pieces, and had to be transported in a single giant piece.

The difficult yet important journey

The sheer size of the cargo travelling on the 74-wheel Volvo FM heavy-duty truck has caused a lot of trouble while moving it from Nasik to Thiruvananthapuram. A team of 30 staff members comprising of engineers, electricians and other experts facilitated the journey. The vehicle moved at a pace of about 5 KM per day. The local authorities and experts with the cargo worked together to clear the path for the vehicle.

While it was moving, no other vehicle was allowed on the road. At many places, the authorities have to remove tree branches and even remove electricity poles to clear path for the vehicle. At two locations, they had to install iron girders to allow smooth passage over bridges. The journey was halted for about a month when the coronavirus lockdown was imposed on 25th March.

An employee of a private agency that was assigned to shift the autoclave from Nashik to VSSC told HT that lockdown made the movement miserable. The vehicle was stopped in Andhra Pradesh for a month due to lockdown. Their agency had to intervene, but it took a few days to acquire all the permissions.

Purpose of the autoclave

Industrial autoclaves are basically pressurized vessels that play a crucial role in the manufacturing of advanced composites, especially in the aerospace industry. This large cylindrical piece of machinery will enable ISRO to manufacture cost-effective, extensive and light-weight structure needed for satellites and launch vehicles.

Once it reaches ISRO’s facility, it will take another three months to install the autoclave. In this period the engineers at ISRO will integrate it with the electrical systems and controls.

‘ISIS bride’ Shamima Begum granted permission to return to the United Kingdom to contest UK Govt’s decision to revoke her citizenship

ISIS Bride Bride Shamima Begum has been granted permission to return to the United Kingdom to contest the removal of her citizenship. She was one of the three east London school girls who had left the United Kingdom to travel to Islamic State controlled territory in the Middle East. She was 15 when she left to join ISIS in February 2015.

While the British Prime Minister and others in the government have strongly objected to her return to the United Kingdom, the Court of Appeal ruled that Shamima Begum has the right to return to the country and fight the government’s decision to strip her of her citizenship. She was stripped of her citizenship citing public good as reason.

“I have reached the firm conclusion that given that the only way in which she can have a fair and effective appeal is to be permitted to come into the United Kingdom to pursue her appeal,” judge Julian Flaux ruled. “Fairness and justice must, on the facts of this case, outweigh the national security concerns… I consider that Ms Begum’s claim for judicial review of the decision of SIAC (Special Immigration Appeals Commission)… succeeds.”

Sections of the British citizenry have been supporting her return on the grounds that Shamima Begum is a British citizen and hence, ought to be tried for her crimes in the UK. Commentator Kenan Malik said, “Begum, 20, was born in Britain and brought up in Britain. However monstrous her actions in Syria, she remains someone to whom Britain has legal and moral obligations. Begum should be answerable for her jihadist activities – in a British court.”

Shamima Begum has been trying for quite sometime to return to the United Kingdom. Her efforts started gaining momentum when she became the mother of a baby boy and wanted to leave the Middle East because she believed it was not safe for her baby. However, public opinion was completely against her and she could not return. Her baby eventually died.

Shamima Begum has said in the past that she does not see why British authorities would consider her a threat and claimed that then Home Secretary Said Javid had “no proof” she was a threat “other than that I was in ISIS”. However, she has also said that she does not regret joining ISIS. She has also justified the Manchester Arena terrorist attack and said other extremely disturbing things.

“Mostly it was a normal life in Raqqa, every now and then bombing and stuff,” she had said in the past. “But when I saw my first severed head in a bin it didn’t faze me at all. It was from a captured fighter seized on the battlefield, an enemy of Islam. I thought only of what he would have done to a Muslim woman if he had the chance.”

Now, due to the ruling by the Court of Appeal, Shamima Begum can legally return to the United Kingdom and contest the British government’s decision to revoke her citizenship. She was found in a camp in Syria by Times War journalist Anthony Loyd.

They are coming for our children: Why it is time to put the foot down and prevent Gender Identity politics from gaining acceptance in India

0

In recent years, we in India have witnessed the havoc that politics over the mythical construct of ‘gender identity’ has wreaked havoc on the social fabric of western society. And now, it appears that the same is coming to India. Indian liberalism is Western Progressivism with a time lag. And now, the monstrosity of western society is making its headway into India.

Recently, there was great outrage on social media after Harish Iyer, a prominent LGBT activist, said on the micro-blogging site Twitter that he had conducted a workshop on sex, orientation, gender identity and gender expression at a school in Mumbai. Several sessions of the same were conducted on the same day and in the tweet, he mentioned that it was the 4th session that was then underway.

Harish Iyer’s tweet

After the tweet caused outrage among users on social media, Harish Iyer proceeded to delete the said tweet. There’s no reason for us to doubt the fact that such individuals are acting in good faith, unless they give us reasons to doubt so, however, it ought to remembered that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

There is good reason why people on social media were outraged by the whole affair. Quite clearly, it is not education but the indoctrination of children and brainwashing them to conform to an ideology that has devastating impact on society. It also needs to be remembered that claims such as ‘gender identity’ has no basis in science at all.

Until even a decade ago, the terms ‘gender’ and ‘sex’ was used interchangeably and it was widely understood that there are only two genders that could be considered normal, while transgenders are considered a deviation from the norm and was understood as an anomaly and rightly so. But as it turns out, certain bunch of ‘intellectuals’ in their echo chambers had conjured the hypothesis that gender identity is completely independent of biological, which is utterly ridiculous.

Unbeknownst to everyone, these intellectuals with their radical ideas managed to conquer the branches of the academia with political patronage. And thus, when they managed to acquire enough political power, these intellectuals attempted to force society at large to accept their ridiculous opinions. Their activism has already succeeded in the West, the consequences of which have been devastating, and now they are trying to do the same in India.

The Gender Identity Propaganda

What caught people’s attention in Harish Iyer’s tweet was the reference to a ‘gender identity class video’ composed by Abish Mathew of All India Bakchod fame and one Anuya Jakatdar. One social media user soon discovered the video that the LGBT activist was referring to in his tweet where he announced his workshop in a Mumbai school.

The video in question is titled on YouTube as the ‘Gender Identity Song’ and is quite disturbing, to put it mildly. It is tailor-made to target its intended constituency, that is, children and is entirely a tool for brainwashing. There is not even an attempt made to make it seem anything other than a propaganda tool.

In the video, there is an entity which calls itself ‘Angel’ and claims it is gender fluid. He is, apparently, sometimes a boy and sometimes a girl, sometimes both and sometimes neither. :That is my gender identity. It could be different from my gender expression and my biological sex,” Angel says.

Then, Angel proceeds to sing. “If it hangs between your legs, it’s your sex. It physically manifests, it’s your sex. But society thinks in two’s, doesn’t mean that it is true, Gender Identity is what’s inside of you.” The song continues, “If you want to be a boy or a girl, or you want your special fashion to unfurl, you get to choose how you and the way you want to dress. You get to choose how you would like to be addressed.”

Then, the person proceeds to brainwash the children in the concept of gender pronouns. There is also a point in the video where it speaks of ‘gender neutral toilets’. The core message of the sermon is, “You don’t have to get it. You just have to respect it.” This message perfectly captures the central theme of the whole philosophy. It is not about science or empathy, it is about power.

You stupid masses don’t have to understand everything that your overlords say, you are not smart enough for it. You just have to respect the wishes of your overlords. And you have to do so even if you do not understand what the whole issue is about. You just have to obey.

The video also conflates the issue of being respectful towards the Gender Identity Overlords as being ‘decent human beings’. The video also features certain individuals who claim to be gender fluid who have pronouns such as ‘They’ and ‘Them’ and other unconventional pronouns.

The Gender Identity Reality

Thus far, ordinary people who are not aware of the nitty-gritty of the issues might believe, as decent people, that there’s nothing obnoxious about their demands. They might have certain problems with their children being exposed to language such as ‘gender is what’s between your legs’ but they might not disagree with the overarching message. But we should remember here that this is a work of propaganda and thus, deliberately hides reality.

For instance, the matter of ‘gender identity’ and ‘gender pronouns’ is an extremely controversial topic in the academia and there is absolutely no scientific consensus. And contrary to what the video claims, the whole thing is not about giving people the space to be whatever they want to be. Truth be told, individuals are still at complete liberty to be whatever they want to be but they cannot dictate society to accept something which is in obvious denial of reality in order to prevent their feelings from being hurt.

The video might claim that it’s only concern is to give people the space to be whatever they want to be. However, as we know from recent developments in the West that it is certainly not the case. Their primary demand is that if suddenly a man claims to be a woman and a woman claims to be a man, then society must treat them according to their wishes. That is the essential point behind the emphasis on addressing people with their preferred pronouns. It is a distant cry from just ‘respect’.

Take the example of Alok Vaid Menon, for instance. Alok Vaid Menon has typical male features. He has a broad chest, an unusually great amount of body hair, and his physical features are unmistakably that of a man. However. he insists that he is gender non-conforming and demands that society address him with the pronouns of his choice which are They/Them.

It is easy to understand why people might have some difficulty to treat him as a woman. While most people, due to their inherent aversion towards unpleasantness, might not say it to his face but surely, they will be unwilling to treat him as a woman. According to gender identity overlords, their unwillingness can be solely attributed to their bigotry, which is completely farcical.

When I refer to the fact that gender identity overlords wants society to treat people as women or men based solely on subjective feelings, I do mean it quite literally. They are of the opinion that if a man with the complete features of a biological man wishes to use a women’s toilet, then they should have the complete liberty to do so. Now, it is completely natural for women to feel uncomfortable with the idea of sharing a toilet with biological men. But gender identity overlords believe it is bigotry.

At the same time, gender identity overlords also believe biological men should be at liberty to participate in women sports if they identify as female despite the fact that men have an undue biological advantage in matters of sports. The matter has reached a point where transgender athletes are registering victories at all levels and helping their teams win in female sports. When people criticise this move and say that the transgender athletes have an unfair advantage due to their biology, they are quickly silenced and branded bigots.

Thus, quite clearly, unlike what the video suggests, it is not all about ‘respect’ and just giving people their own spaces, it is about power and very much so.

Gender Identity Politics Horror Stories

One of the most horrific stories of gender identity politics is the case of Jessica Yaniv. The transgender individual was born a man, claims to have transitioned into a woman but still has male genitalia. He sued 16 aestheticians, all of them female, for refusing to wax her male genitalia. Quite obviously, the women were uncomfortable with the idea of handling male genitalia but Yaniv demanded that she be treated as a woman.

There are other extremely troubling aspects to the whole affair, however, this is inevitably where gender identity politics leads to. It’s not about respect but about forcing society to treat them according to their preferred gender. The consequences are, predictably, horrific.

Then, there are the matter of drag queens. While LGBT groups are organising ‘educative’ drag queen sessions for students across schools, even in India, there is one particular issue that is a cause for extreme concern. Certain children are being brainwashed into becoming drag queens, which is nothing less than child abuse.

There was the case of Desmond is Amazing, an eleven year old at the time, who danced at a gay nightclub while adult men threw money at him. The whole thing reeks of pedophilia and had sharp similarities with the ‘Bachchabaazi’ culture in Afghanistan. Desmond is Amazing is still glorified by gender identity overlords and propped up as a ‘hero’ despite the obvious instance of child abuse.

Source: Daily Wire

Then, there has been instances of transgender inmates, who were born male, raping female convicts when they were placed in women prisons. Official figures from the United Kingdom showed that transgender prisoners are five times more likely to carry out sex attacks against inmates in women prisons.

Then, there is the case of Alok Vaid Menon. In a Facebook post, regarding sexual abuse victims, AVM is claimed to have written, “We totally need to challenge the white Christian supremacist, right-wing rhetoric around trans bodies, absolutely. But we also need to seriously overhaul the idea that there is a perfect victim anywhere.”

The post states further, “I believe in the radical notion that little girls, like the rest of us, are complicated people. There are no fairy tales and no princesses here. Little girls are also queer, trans, kinky, deviant, kind, mean, beautiful, ugly, tremendous and peculiar.” To be clear, this was in the context of sex abuse victims. It doesn’t need any elaboration as to why this is so problematic.

In addition to this, gender identity overlords in the West have made ‘misgendering’ a punishable offence and people are punished for refusing to bow to their brand of toxic politics. Thus, quite clearly, Gender Identity politics begins with cartoon videos as shown by Harish Iyer to brainwash children but inevitably ends with horror stories.

The Harmful Effects of Gender Politics on Children

The normalisation of such toxic politics has led to a situation where countries in the West are suddenly seeing a sudden spike in the number of teenage girls who want to transition to male. Lisa Littman, an American Academic, said that ‘socially-awkward’ girls self-identified as transgender after being drawn together in chat rooms where they reinforced each other’s beliefs about their identity. She was ostracised by the academia for observing this particular trend.

Furthermore, gender identity overlords advocate the use of puberty blockers for underage children. Puberty blockers are drugs that postpone or inhibit puberty in children who feel they are of a different gender. This is not to say that gender dysphoria is not a real issue but it’s particularly concerning because research indicates that over 90 per cent of the children (94% to be precise) grow out of it by the time they reach puberty.

Thus, gender identity overlords are irrevocably altering the natural growth of children and scarring them for life due to their petty politics when most of the children would go on to have a completely normal life without it. And their justification for such life altering events at such a tender age is that children ‘feel’ that they are a ‘boy trapped in a girl’s body’ or vice versa.

Children are basically children at that age. They might say a lot of things and do a lot of things but it is the responsibility of adults to ensure that they do not let them harm themselves. But hundreds of children under the age of fourteen, many as young as 10 year old, have been injected with these life altering drugs merely because of their feelings, something that the children could come to regret later.

There is also evidence to suggest that normalisation of such gender identity politics leads to confusion among little children, which makes them question their gender. Thus, it is more reason to prevent our children from being exposed to such toxic rhetoric. And the whole thing is just propaganda and power play.

Why Gender Identity workshops in schools ought to concern us

Gender Identity politics is receiving an intense backlash even in the West. Someone as influential as famed author J.K. Rowling has spoken about it as well. At a time when even the West is trying to discard such ideas, the import of it in India should concern us all. And it should concern that they are coming for our children.

Politics regarding gender and gender identity should never be an issue in our country. Children are far too young to be exposed to such propaganda. Children should not be taught about matters where even the academia disagrees quite sharply on. Furthermore, they are only deviously being exposed to only one side of the story and they are not being exposed to the entire controversy surrounding it.

Of course, the matter at hand is so complicated that the young minds of children will not be able to grasp the intricacies of the issue. And that is why even the video by Abish says that they don’t have to understand the whole thing, they just have to respect it. The ultimate objective of such workshops is to turn children into footsoldiers for the gender identity overlords and propaganda tools.

The children of today will decide the future of tomorrow. And that is why, gender identity overlords seek to capture children while they are still young and brainwash them into their ideology. The overlords claim, quite ridiculously, that it is society that brainwashes children into believing that there are just two normal genders.

They shamelessly ignore the fact that the binary classification of gender is the reality of all animals who reproduce sexually. There might be one or two exceptions but norms are made on the basis of what is normative, not the exception. Thus, parents must decide whether they are willing for their children to be turned into footsoldiers for people who prioritise power over the interests of their children.

Needless to say, governments also have to work actively to stop such gender identity overlords from brainwashing children. It is the foremost duty of any government to protect their citizens. And the welfare of our children should come before all. Unfortunately, the central government has not paid sufficient attention to such developments and have largely ignored the issue. It is sufficiently proven by the disastrous Transgender persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2020.

The Rules mentioned above will; be discussed at length in a separate piece. However, it is time that the governments put their feet down and prevent the toxic ideology from gaining ground.

West Bengal: Minor Sister of BJP leader raped and murdered, BJP accuses TMC worker Feroze Ali

In a gruesome incident, the 16-year-old sister of a BJP booth President was abducted from her home, raped and murdered on Sunday morning in Chopragaj in Uttar Dinajpur in West Bengal. As per the reports, the sister of the BJP booth President was abducted in the wee hours of the morning by the perpetrators when she went out to use the toilet.

She was then taken to an abandoned place near Chopragaj in Sonarpur Gram Panchayat. Reportedly, the 10th std student was then raped and poisoned by the perpetrators. They fled the scene after dumping her body at the abandoned place which is located close to her house. After the girl went missing, locals began searching for her. She was found in an unconscious state at the deserted place. She was rushed to a primary healthcare center in Chopragaj’s Dalua block. When her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to Islampur Sub-Divisional Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Besides, a bicycle was also found at some distance from the crime scene. Sachin Makkar, the Superintendent of Police (Islampur), stated, “We have launched an investigation into the case. The search is on for the perpetrators.”

BJP accuses TMC, blocks National Highway

BJP General Secretary (Uttar Dinajpur) Surjit Sen said that Trinamool Congress is behind the abduction, rape, and murder of the minor girl. The official handle of the BJP unit of West Bengal tweeted that the 16-year-old girl was raped by one Feroze Ali. The tweet further added, “Did she pay the price of being the sister of the local BJP Booth President? And sadly, a state governed by a woman CM cannot protect its girls.”

As per the report, the BJP supporters protested against the heinous crime by blocking the National Highway-31 and burning tyres at Kalagarh in North Dinajpur. This resulted in a heavy traffic jam in the area. When the Inspector-in-Charge (IC) reached the spot, the BJP workers gheraoed him and displayed their angst. Meanwhile, a large contingent of the police force has been deployed to control the law and order situation in the area

Maharashtra continues to account for 33 percent of total active coronavirus cases, remains worst hotspot state in the country

There seem to be no signs of coronavirus pandemic slowing down in India’s most industrialized, developed state of Maharashtra as the state now accounts for more than one-third of total active cases in the country.

As India continues to fight against the grave coronavirus crisis, new data reveals that Maha Vikas Aghadi-led Maharashtra has been the worst hotspot in the country recording more fresh cases than any other states in the country.

According to Professor Shamika Ravi, the senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a former member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council, Maharashtra now accounts for 28 percent of all-India cases. Secondly, with nearly 8,000 cases being recorded every day, it continues to account for nearly 33 percent of all active cases in the country.

As per Prof. Shamika Ravi, the limiting of coronavirus pandemic in the country cannot be stopped without an urgent intervention in the state of Maharashtra.

The data released by Prof. Ravi also states that the recovery rate of the coronavirus patients from Maharashtra is much lower than the national average. The recovery rate in Maharashtra is at 55 percent of the total coronavirus cases, while the national average stands at 63 percent.

The death rate of coronavirus patients in Maharashtra is at 3.9 percent is much higher than all-India rate 2.5 percent.

Maharashtra remains the most-affected state in the country, with nearly 3,00,937 cases reported out of the country’s 10,77,618 cases. The active cases in Maharashtra is at 1,23,678 of the total 3,73,379 cases. The state has also seen 9,893 deaths while the coronavirus death tally in the entire country stands at 26,816.

Further, Prof Ravi also said that Maharasthra has been testing very little since the beginning of the outbreak, and most importantly the test positivity rate has been high and rising dangerously since April despite the test rate is low compared to the national average.

Maharashtra – the epicenter of coronavirus cases in the country

Maharashtra has been pulling the overall average of India’s coronavirus cases. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra has been widely criticized for the mismanagement of the coronavirus cases in the state after more than 2.4 lakh people got affected by the Chinese pandemic, making almost one-third of the total cases in the country.

The appalling health infrastructure in the state of Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai, was also evident recently after shocking videos had emerged where it was seen how coronavirus patients and other emergency patients were made to share beds due to a shortage in capacity. The coronavirus patients being treated at Mumbai’s Sion hospital emergency ward were seen sharing beds, with two people being allocated to a bed. With a rising shortage in beds, the patients, many with coronavirus symptoms are also sharing a single oxygen tank.

The videos of the patients lying almost on top of each other, sleeping on shared stretchers or just lying on the floor had also gone viral some days back.

Earlier, another chilling video of the Sion hospital had gone viral on social media in which it was clearly seen that corpses were kept in the ward in which the patients of coronavirus were admitted. The dead bodies of coronavirus patients were kept next to the patients under treatment in a Hospital of Mumbai in the Sion area.

Later, shocking cases of alleged negligence by authorities in Maharashtra were reported as at least 12 people died in a span of two weeks in a BMC-run hospital in Jogeshwari, Mumbai due to a shortage in oxygen supply to coronavirus patients.

India may have 17 lakh+ total coronavirus cases: Prof Ravi

Earlier, Prof Shamika Ravi had estimated that the current growth rate of coronavirus cases in India is 3.4 percent. If the cases keep rising at this pace for another 20 days, we will see close to 17.8 lakh cases in total with 6.9 lakh active cases.

Prof Shamika had suggested that the states have to rethink and re-evaluate the containment strategies to slow down the spread of the infection.

Prof Shamika had noted that 40 percent of the new cases come from two states Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The 7-day Moving Average of the new cases suggests that Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have higher daily new cases than Delhi.
