Rahul Gandhi and CPIM use Republic Day insurrection to further their political agenda, demand repeal of farm laws

Sitaram Yechury, senior leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), is attempting to use the Republic Day violence by anti-farm laws protesters to further the political agenda of his party. He blamed the government for the violence that ensued in Delhi and portrayed the violent protesting mobs as victims.

Sitaram Yechury said, “The situation has been brought to this pass by the Modi government. Farmers have been protesting peacefully in the cold for more than 60 days, not allowed to come into Delhi and more than 100 Kisans are dead.”

Sitaram Yechury is attempting to use the Republic Day violence by anti-farm laws protesters to further the political agenda of his party.
Sitaram Yechury makes shameful statement

“Violence in no form is an answer & is unacceptable. A govt which smears dissent, BJP’s troll army vilify those who ask for their rights, ministers make wild allegations, law officers make claims without basis in court – this is no way to deal with legitimate demands of our Kisans,” said Sitaram Yechury. “The Republic is of the public. The tantra (establishment) in Ganatantra has no meaning without the gana (the people),” he added.

Former president of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, has played the same card. He, too, is using the Republic Day violence to further his personal political agenda against the central government.

Rahul Gandhi is blaming the government for the violence

What happened on Republic Day is an insurrection and there can be no doubt about it. Violent protesting mobs attempted to undermine the democratically elected government of the country and the mandate accorded to the Parliament of India. They forced their way into the Red Fort and hoisted a flag that was interpreted by a lot of people, including sections of their supporters, as the Kahlistan Flag.

But here we have senior politicians of prominent political parties tacitly blaming the government for the actions of the insurrectionists. Not merely that, they are attempting to force the government to bend the knee to the insurrectionists. Pakistan celebrated the insurrection today and called it a “Black Day” for India. It appears our opposition leaders want to embarrass the country further.

Rahul Gandhi and Sitaram Yechury are fully aware that a repeal of the farm laws at this point will be an unmitigated victory for the protesting mobs that lay siege at the national capital and embarrassed the country on Republic Day, one of the most important days for the State of India. It is also pertinent to remember that the Congress party, too, celebrated the violence at the national capital.

They are fully aware that a repeal of the farm laws will be victory for anarchy and will undermine Democracy in India. But they are so consumed by political greed that they are willing set the country on fire since it expects to rule over the ashes. It is a dangerous game they ae playing which could have devastating consequences for the safety, security and integrity of the nation.

Tractor rally on R-Day: Not just swords, violent protestors have come loaded with liquor too

As the anti-farm law protestors lay siege on the National Capital on 71st Republic Day, it has now come to light that they had brought supplies of liquor too.

In a video shared by TV9 Gujarati, a trolley, belonging to ‘protestors’, was found laden with liquor bottles and snacks. The trolley had a stockpile of locally-sourced and international alcoholic beverages. It has also been reported that several protestors drove under influence and attempted to mow down police officials when they tried to stop them. “Is this how farmers protest (while pointing at the liquor bottles)? Is this why they asked permission from the government to take out the tractor rally,” the TV9 reporter inquired.

The police officials were forced to sit on the road to prevent the anti-farm law protestors to make further inroads into National Capital. But, the unruly mob instead attempted to run them over as a mark of ‘protest’ against the historic farm laws enacted by the Modi government. In order to restore law and order situation, the police had to fire tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.

It must be mentioned that the Delhi Police had earlier granted permission to the anti-farm law protesters to conduct a tractor parade at the national capital on the occasion of Republic Day from 12 to 5 pm. Dependra Pathak, Special CP, Intelligence, Delhi Police informed that the rally will enter Delhi from Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur borders and return to its originating points.

‘Farmers’ resort to violence and vandalism

The worst fears came alive on Tuesday morning when ‘protestors’ from Punjab unleashed mayhem on the streets of Delhi. In a video shared by news agency ANI, two such protestors were seen laying siege on a police water cannon vehicle in Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar in the national Capital. The vehicle was gheraoed by protestors from all sides, who have been marching both on foot as well as tractor from the Singhu border.

In a shocking incident, an anti-farm law protestor was seen brandishing his sword and attempting to inflict severe injuries at police personnel. While the cops used sticks to defend themselves against the onslaught of violence, an aged ‘farmer’ pulled out his sword to attack a police official. Following the intervention of other protestors, the ‘farmer’ was forced to retreat.

In a video uploaded by Sudarshan news, one so-called ‘farmer’ was seen vandalizing a truck. The protestor, wielding a stick in his hand, destroyed the glass pane of a truck that was parked on the road as a mark of protest against the historic farm laws. The so-called protestors were also seen attacking buses.

Hindus must ask now if their religious flag atop Lal Quila would be an acceptable sight

The visuals from Delhi today, exactly 11 months after the Delhi anti-Hindu riots, have left most people shaken. As mobs consisting of lakhs of supposed farmers marched with thousands of tractors, guns, stones, swords to Delhi visuals of violence tarnished the otherwise solemn occasion of Republic Day. Police personnel were almost lynched, buses were vandalised, Khalistanis riding horses threatened to attack security personnel with sharp swords and finally, the Sikh flag was unfurled stop Lal Quila.

One can’t really say these sights were surprising. For the past three months, the Khalistani elements in the protest have been inching towards precisely this moment, especially after Sikhs For Justice, a proscribed Khalistani terror organisation announced a reward for unfurling the Khalistan flag at India Gate and the Red Fort. Unless someone was living under a rock, it was obvious from the word go that these violent delights of the Khalistanis would have violent ends.

As violent visuals continue to trickle in, the lasting sight of this siege would be the Sikh flag, flying high at Red Fort on Republic Day.

When these visuals were revealed, several people believed that the flag was a Khalistani flag. Pakistan gleefully celebrated that ‘take over’ of the Republic. However, many people soon pointed out that it was not the Khalistani flag, but the Nishan Sahib flag, sacred to Sikhs.

One of the first to mention this in a rather defensive tone was NDTV journalist, and we use the term ‘journalist’ loosely here, Sreenivasan Jain.

Sreenivasan Jain celebrated the fact that the Nishan Sahib flag was unfurled while not taking down the Indian flag. Well, thank god for the small mercies he chooses to bestow upon us, however, there is a larger question that our celebrated secular enthusiasts seem to be avoiding like the plague.

What they have conveniently done today is to justify religious flags to be unfurled atop national monuments. This would include places like the Red Fort on Republic Day, the Parliament, so on and so forth. They, of course, justify this because the ones who unfurled the Nishan Sahib flag were Khalistanis and not Hindus. They would have even justified this if they were Islamists. So for example, if during the Delhi Riots, Muslims had unfurled the Islamic flag atop the Red Ford right next to the Indian flag, the very media today that is justifying the act of Khalistanis would have justified the act of Islamists.

However, they betray their fundamental belief system, that they at least publicly pretend to espouse. To understand just how hypocritical they are, one must recall the reactions that trickled in when Hindus fruit sellers and vendors started to unfurl the saffron flag on their cart right after the Tablighi Jamaat emerged as a super-spreader of Coronavirus. This was considered as an attack on the innate nature of secularism of the country because even private citizens have no right to express their Hindu identity if it leads to the mere perception of Muslims being slighted.

In April 2020, a video had gone viral where a fruit seller and his associate, reportedly Dalit Hindus, could be seen recounting the tale of harassment faced at the hands of local Muslims in Begusrai in Bihar for putting up a saffron flag on their cart. They narrated how they were stopped on their way and interrogated about the flag on their cart. “What are you trying to prove by showcasing this flag?”, the group of Muslims had intimidated the duo.

Earlier, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against some shop owners in Nalanda in Bihar, for sporting saffron flags in their shops. The FIR was lodged after a complaint was lodged by a block officer named Rajiv Ranjan at the Laheri Police station in Biharsharif on April 20.

The police had pressed charges under several Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections such as 147 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 153A (promoting enmity between religions), 188 (Disobedience) and 295A (Malicious act to outrage religious feelings). Further, a group of fruit sellers in Jamshedpur were booked by the city police for writing “Vishwa Hindu Parishad ki anumodit Hindu fal Dukan” which translates to “Hindu fruit shop approved by Vishwa Hindu Parishad”. In addition, the banners of the shop also carried the photos of Hindus deities– Lord Shiva and Lord Rama along with the phone numbers of the shop owners. However, wearing one’s identity on their sleeves did not sit well with the Jamshedpur police which acted on a complaint raised by one Twitter user, Ahsan Razi, about the overt manifestation of religion by the shop owners. The police reached the spot and got the banners removed.

But harassing private citizens for displaying their faith was not enough.

Only recently, 4 people were arrested because they carried saffron flags inside the Taj Mahal.

These actions were justified because the very journalists rejoicing today theorised that the action protected the secular fabric of the country. However, those very journalists are today taking a sigh of relief because apparently, the Indian flag was not removed before the Sikh flag was unfurled at Red Fort.

Now, the issues listed above are not really comparable. The vendors should have ideally been free to unfurl the saffron flag atop their stands because that was not a national concern. However, the fact that liberals are willing to make an excuse for the Sikh flag being unfurled at the Red Fort while demonising poor vendors for displaying the faith, shows their unbridled hypocrisy.

When the perils of their ways became somewhat clear to them, the goal was shifted rather swiftly. The narrative changed to how considerate the Khalistanis were and that Hindus had no right to complain because just earlier, the Uttar Pradesh tableau at Republic Day parade displayed the glorious culture of Ayodhya, amidst Jai Shree Ram chants.

However, that is a facetious argument yet again. These very elements forgot to mention that the Delhi Tableau also started with Allahu Akbar, a chant far more controversial than any other chant in the world. If Punjab had decided to float a tableau about a Gurudwara or one of the Sikh Gurus who Hindus revere equally, nobody would have really batted an eye.

The issue arose when the Sikh flag was unfurled at Red Ford and the act was viewed as a clear sign of Khalistani aggression. It is abundantly clear that Khalistani elements had hijacked the protests and SFJ had called to raise the Khalistani flag on Red Fort and the India Gate. Since Khalistan is a blatant assertion of religious identity leading to the demand for a separate nation-state, the unfurling of the Nishan Sahib atop Red Fort also has to be seen in that context.

Therefore, the liberals seem to have shot themselves in the foot by defending this brazen act.

There is absolutely nothing that they can say in the future if Hindus start wondering why their religious flag cannot fly atop the Red Ford or even the Parliament. As individuals, we may condemn the idea, however, per the liberal standards, this seems to be an acceptable sight as long as the Indian flag remains flying right next to it. And they can’t really be blamed for it.

Let us get one thing straight out of the way. The ‘liberals’ have already branded all Hindus who don’t toe their line as rabid Hindutvawadis. So it should come as no shock to them if the very Hindutvawadis, who think of India as a civilisational state, believe that by virtue of being a civilisational state, the Bhagwa Dhwaj should fly proudly right next to the Indian flag in every government building.

However, if the Liberals have defended the act by the Khalistanis today, with what face would they raise concerns about Hindus demanding their place in their own civilisational state? One must therefore ask the question – Would liberals willingly accept if Hindus raise the Bhagwa Dhwaj now, flying proud and high, right next to the Indian flag.

Swords, mowing tractors and guns: What the Delhi police personnel are facing from rampaging protestors

0

The so-called farmers protesting on Delhi borders against the Agriculture laws had called for Tractor Rally on Republic Day. They got permission from the Delhi police on the condition that they will start after the R-Day parade and will follow a specific route. The protestors agreed but only to trick the police into believing that they will follow the rules.

Several police personnel have been injured so far.

Just before the parade started at Rajpath, the farmers began to break down the barricades at Delhi borders and entered the national capital from the routes that were not permitted by the Delhi Police. When police tried to stop them, they attacked police personnel with swords and batons.

More visuals of confrontations between Delhi Police and protestors started to get viral on social media. In some videos, protestors were seen trying to run over the police personnel with speeding tractors.

In another visual, protestors were seen assaulting a policewoman.

In a video shared by Times Now, a ‘protestor’ was seen waving an automatic rifle as the police tried to control the mob.

8 minutes into the video shared by Times Now, one of the protestors was seen running around with an assault rifle.

When protesters almost hit police with tractor at Nangloi area of Delhi, police had to use tear gas shells to push them back.

A group of protestors had reached Red Fort and unfurled various religious and farmer union flags in several places. The internet service in several areas of Delhi has been snapped to control the situation.

Reports suggest that Rapid Action Force has been called to put a stop to the ruckus.

After fomenting violence, ‘farmer leader’ Rakesh Tikait dismisses reports of mayhem, claims tractor rally is ‘peaceful’

0

As Delhi plunged into an abyss of wanton violence, chaos, and disorder during the ongoing tractor rally, self-proclaimed farmers leaders Rakesh Tikait and Yogendra Yadav appeared to distance themselves from the mayhem.

Speaking for the first time since violence swept the streets of Delhi, one of the ‘farmers leaders’, Rakesh Tikait turned a blind eye to the carnage and claimed that his faction has been peaceful.

Even as cases of vandalism and violence were being reported from different parts of the national capital, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait said that the tractor march is ‘peaceful’ and that he had no knowledge of whether the protest had turned violent. Tikait’s remarks came as the protesters vandalized several vehicles, including DTC buses at the ITO area, videos of which have gone viral on the internet.

“Rally is going on peacefully. I don’t have any knowledge of it. We are at Ghazipur and are releasing the traffic here,” Rakesh Tikait, Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) said.

Another ‘farmer’ leader at the forefront of organising the Tractor Rally, Ichchadhari protester Yogendra Yadav, took to Twitter to allege that there had been no violence or lathi-charge by the police on the protesters. He dismissed the reports of violence and baton-charge as rumours and appealed to the protesters to not break the barricades or stray away from the agreed-upon route.

“As per my information, there has been no lathi-charge, no bullets have been fired. These are just rumours, so don’t pay attention to them…I appeal to my fellow protesters to abide by the route that was finalised by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and not veer away from the agreed-upon route,” Yadav said.

Protesters in tractor Rally indulge in violence, try to run over police personnel

The anti-farm law agitation, which began in November last year, reached its zenith on the occasion of Republic Day. When the protestors announced their plans to conduct a massive tractor rally and march to the National Capital to protest against the historic farm laws, aspersions were cast about the possibility of violence and destruction.

Thousands of farmers breached barricades and proceeded towards Delhi amid huge police presence as they kicked off their tractor rally on Republic Day. Chaos was unleashed on the streets leading to the national capital as protesters flouted the designated route and marched towards the Parliament. A legion of protesters reached the Red Fort and desecrated the iconic UNESCO world heritage site.

The participants of the tractor rally also resorted to vandalism as they ran amok on the highways, attacking the trucks and breaking the barricades that were put up by the Delhi police to control their route. As disorder swept over the city’s borders, protesters were baton-charged and tear-gassed by the policemen on duty.

The upheaval was primarily caused after the protesters who were allowed to hold the “Kisaan Parade” between 12 to 5 PM, started the march much before the allotted time and veered away from the agreed-upon routes. The security personnel had tried in vain to convince the farmers to stick to the plan of holding the tractor parade after the conclusion of the Republic Day parade at Rajpath. But, their requests fell on deaf ears as the protesters ran riot, breaking barricades and vandalising vehicles on their way.

After violence was unleashed on streets of Delhi on Republic Day, ‘farmer’ body thanks ‘farmers’ for ‘unprecedented participation’

‘Farmer’ body Samyukta Kisan Morcha today thanked the ‘farmers’ who participated in today’s ‘tractor rally’.

Speaking to media, the ‘farmer’ body thanked the ‘farmers’ for the for the unprecedented participation. “We also condemn and regret the undesirable and unacceptable events that have taken place today and dissociate ourselves from those indulging in such acts,” the ‘farmer’ body said.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha further claimed that despite their efforts, ‘some organisations and individuals’ violated route and indulged in condemnable acts. “Anti-social elements had infiltrated the otherwise peaceful movement. We’ve always held that peace is our biggest strength and any violation would hurt the movement,” the body said.

Earlier in the day, the ‘farmers’ unleashed violence on Delhi Police where, amongst other things, they beat up police personnel with the Indian flag, deliberately tried to drive a tractor over them with intention to kill police and also pelted stones at the cop. Over and above this, the buses were vandalised and a yellow flag claimed to be that of the Nishan Sahib, holy symbol of the Sikhs, was hurled at the Red Fort, where traditionally the Prime Minister unfurls the Tricolour on Independence Day.

‘Flag of Khalistan is waving on Red Fort,’ ‘Historic Moment’: All Pakistan Muslim League celebrates “Black Day” for India

The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) is celebrating the hoisting of the ‘Khalistan Flag’ at Red Fort on Republic Day. The Pakistani political party, founded by Pervez Musharraf, former president of Pakistan, is overjoyed by what it considers to be a ‘historic moment’.

The APML said through its official Twitter handle, “Peaceful Sikh Protestor Removed Indian Flag from Red Fort And Waved Nishan Sahib Flag Which Is Very Sacred To Sikh People.” It also urged “Sikh Farmers and Muslims” to “stay strong”.

The flag hoisted at Red Fort is believed to be the Sikh Flag but Pakistanis are clearly not differentiating between the two to further incite Sikh sentiments against the Indian State. It is also pertinent to mention that terrorist outfit Sikhs For Justice had demanded that the Khalistani Flag be hoisted on Republic Day.

The Pakistani political party is calling it a Black Day for the Indian Republic. The actions of the protesting mob have caused a massive embarrassment to India. However, the Congress party is celebrating the massive anarchy that has been unleashed at the national capital. The Congress party has hailed it as the ‘power of a Republic’.

The protesting mob, meanwhile, has attacked police personnel, attempted to lynch a policeman and have been attacking the police with swords, rods and stones. They defied all rules and regulations, broke barricades and unleashed unfathomable anarchy on the streets of the national capital.

During Delhi Riots, NDTV cropped stones from rooftop of mosques, now it paints violent mobs in tractor rally as humanitarian

Even as the rampaging mob of protesters carrying out the tractor rally are creating mayhem on the streets of Delhi, NDTV has sought to condone their violent tendencies by attempting to project them as considerate and compassionate towards the sufferings of others.

An ambulance was snarled up in the traffic caused by the tractor rally in the national capital. But NDTV twisted the news to allege that ‘farmers’ made way for the ambulance stuck in the commotion.

“Farmers make way for ambulance stuck in #tractorrally,” the official Twitter account of NDTV tweeted along with the video of an ambulance passing through a road occupied by the demonstrators.

But, their requests fell on deaf ears as the protesters ran riot, breaking barricades and vandalising vehicles on their way.

The rampant violence was the leitmotif of the Kisaan Parade that was carried out on Republic Day by the protesters opposing the newly introduced Farm Laws. But the tweet posted by NDTV, in essence, was a shoddy attempt by the media organization to discredit the reports of violence, vandalism, and stone-pelting that were witnessed in the wake of the tractor rally.

However, whitewashing crimes of riotous mobs is par for the course for NDTV. On several occasions in the past, the media organisation has demonstrated eager willingness to pull the veil over unlawful acts if they are committed by mobs that are aligned to its ideology.

NDTV edits out visuals of a Mosque with a huge pile of stones from drone footage

In the wake of gruesome Delhi riots in February 2020, a drone video of the riot-stricken region was shared in which one could see heaps of stones stored on the terrace of a mosque. Not only mosques but large heaps of stones were stored on the terraces of various residences, which were clearly visible in the video, indicating that the Muslim mobs had planned ahead for the violence.

However, left-wing portal NDTV – which has a history of absolving even Islamic terrorists from their crimes, resorted to rescue Muslim mobs by watering down the crime by carefully editing the mosque out of the drone video.

In a report titled, ‘Drones Monitoring Situation In Violence-Hit Delhi Areas’, NDTV cropped images of the mosque to mislead the readers on the real nature of the anti-Hindu riots and tried to hide the images where it can be clearly seen that the local mosques had stored stones to attack the Hindus during the communal riots. In the report, the featured image was credited to ANI, but the Mosque was missing.

Congress celebrates Republic Day violence in Delhi where protesting mob attacked police, Khalistanis ran riot

The Congress party is celebrating the violence that has been unleashed at the national capital on Republic Day. While protesting mobs were running riot in Delhi, the Congress party decided to celebrate the ‘power of the Republic’.

The official handle of the Congress party shared a photograph of the tractor parade on social media with a caption that said, “Never underestimate the power of a Republic”. It is pertinent to mention that the tweet was made at 1:45 pm, long after violence had been unleashed in Delhi by the mob.

The protesting mob attacked the Police with rods, swords and pelted stones at the police personnel. An attempt was also made by some to lynch a policeman. The mob did not stop there and forced their way into the Red Fort where they unfurled the Sikh Flag. It is pertinent to mention here that terrorist outfit Sikh For Justice had demanded that the Khalistani Flag be hoisted on Republic Day.

It sets an extremely dangerous precedent that the Congress party is celebrating an insurrection against the State of India merely because it hopes to gain electorally from it. During the anti-CAA riots as well, Congress leaders had spread propaganda regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act and had fueled protests regarding the same.

During the current protests, the Congress party adopted a similar stance where they played with fire at the cost of national interests. And today, they are openly celebrating anarchy on the streets of Delhi.

Republic Day tableaus: Chants of Jai Shri Ram from UP and Allah hu Akbar from Delhi
