On 1st January, in a significant development, the Ministry of Home Affairs declared gangster Satwinder Singh alias Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.

According to the notification issued by the Home Ministry, Brar is believed to be involved in acts of terrorism. The report mentioned that Brar, born on April 1st, 1994, resided in Brampton, Canada. He is a known associate of the Khalistani terrorist organisation Babbar Khalsa International. Brar is also reportedly the prime accused in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.
The notification further stated that Brar has been implicated in multiple criminal activities, including murder, extortion and making threatening calls and claims on social media. Furthermore, he has been accused of smuggling weapons and ammunition into India using drones. He is also a suspect in planning and executing target killings, leading to the disruption of peace and communal harmony in the country, especially in the Punjab region.
The decision of the Government of India follows a non-bailable warrant issued against him on 12th December 2022 and a Red Corner Notice by Interpol suggesting a global consensus on the threat that Brar poses.
The notification came after the last amendment dated 29th December 2023. His name added to the Fourth Schedule signified the Government’s resolve to fight terrorism with a firm hand and to take strict measures against those who threaten the security and harmony of India.
On 1st January, Khalistani terrorist and chief of Khalistani terror organisation Sikhs For Justice, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, issued a fresh threat. In a video message, Pannun called for India’s “economic destruction” by targeting the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on the 31st anniversary of the 1993 Mumbai Blasts, 12th March 2024. Notably, BSE buildings were among the targets of the bomb blasts in 1993.
While the buildings were damaged in the 1993 blast, Pannun aimed at “destroying India’s economy” by attacking NSE/BSE from 12th March this year. Unlike the bomb blasts, he called for dumping Indian stocks and purchasing American stocks before 12th March. In his video message, he also identified several corporate houses and banks as his targets that trade internationally.
Recently, Pannun issued a threat against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging Muslims to stop PM’s roadshow in Ayodhya that took place on 30th December. He had offered a cash reward of USD 100,000 for anyone who succeeded. However, just like his many earlier “cash rewards to create unrest in India” plans, this one did not work out in his favour.
The frustrated Pannun has consistently escalated the threats against India. He had also asked the PM, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval to have a 24×7 security blanket, hinting at a possible attack on them. Not to forget, days before the ICC World Cup final match, Pannun had threatened to blow up Air India flights on 19th November, the day of the final match. Subsequently, he threatened to attack the Parliament of India in one of his recent threats. Furthermore, he also announced a cash reward for the accused of the Parliament security breach that took place on 13th December.
Who is Gurpatwant Singh Pannun?
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is a US-based Khalistani terrorist who has citizenship in both the US and Canada. He poses as an attorney in the US and claims to be a frontrunner in the fight for the rights of Sikhs. In reality, he consistently propagates the Khalistani sentiments and often issues threats against India. He has been actively promoting violence against Indian diplomats in Canada, the US and other countries where pro-Khalistani Sikhs have been living. He was designated as a terrorist by the Government of India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for his anti-India activities. His organisation, Sikhs For Justice, was also listed as a terrorist outfit by the Government of India.
India and Pakistan exchanged the list of nuclear installations and facilities through diplomatic channels in New Delhi and Islamabad on Monday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in an official press statement.
The exchange of information was held under the agreement on the Prohibition of Attack against Nuclear installations and facilities between India and Pakistan.
As per the Ministry release, the agreement which was signed on December 31, 1988 and came into force on January 27, 1991, provides, inter alia, that India and Pakistan inform each other of the nuclear installations and facilities to be covered under the Agreement on the first of January of every calendar year. This is the 33rd consecutive exchange of such lists between the two countries, the first one having taken place on January 1, 1992.
The exchange of the list came amid continuing strain in ties between the two countries over multiple issues including Kashmir and cross-border terrorism.

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has informed that the number of terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir has decreased from 228 in the year 2018 to just 44 in 2023.
As per the data (until 15th December 2023) presented by the Centre, there has been been 80.7% decline in terror activities in the valley over past 5 years. It must be mentioned that Article 370 was abrogated by the Modi government in a landmark legislation on 5th August 2019.
While there were 52 hartals and 1221 stone pelting instances in 2018, it must be mentioned that Jammu and Kashmir witnessed no such incident of organised hartal and stone pelting in 2023.
Decline in encounters, martyrdom of Indian soldiers
During the said period, the number of civilian deaths has declined from 55 to 13. About 26 Indian armed forces personnel were martyred in 2023 as compared to 91 in 2018. Between 2018 and 2023, the number of terrorist encounters also fell from 189 to 48.
According to the Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain, a total of 76 terrorists were neutralised in 2023 in Jammu and Kashmir. 55 of the neutralised terrorists were foreigners.
Besides the local police have booked 201 terrorists and arrested 291 others. Swain informed that recruitment of terrorists have also witnessed a massive decline.
Massive footfall of tourists and pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir
The Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing relative peace, which has led to a tremendous boost in tourism and pilgrimage activities.
According to the MHA, about 1.9 crore tourists visited the Union territory in 2023 while 4.4 lakh Hindu devotees participated in the Amarnath Yatra (highest footfall in the past 10 years).
Abrogation of Article 370
Article 370 granted special autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir. It curtailed the central government’s legislative authority over the state. The now-revoked section allowed the state to formulate its own law, with specific exemptions in areas like finance, defence, foreign affairs, and communications.
Following the abrogation of Article 370, two Union Territories named Jammu and Kashmir (with a legislative body) and Ladakh (without a legislative body) were created. As assembly elections have not taken place in either of the UTs, they are currently being administered by Centre-appointed lieutenant governors.
On 11th December this year, the Supreme Court of India upheld the Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370.
Western media has long been painting India as the country of all the bad things. The overall Western expectation from India is being a poor country, forever dependent on the Western handouts, and obey what the White masters told them like a good, properly trained British colony should.
However, the new India baffles the Western world narrative. The India that refuses to silently take orders and remain poor, the India that exercises the will of its people and elects leaders that further its national interest, the India that rejects demands of the Western world and shapes its domestic and international policies for the benefit its people, is unacceptable to the colonial mindset.
For that very reason, the rise of Narendra Modi as an unprecedented, undisputed leader of the world’s largest democracy has caused never-ending pain and outrage from Western commentators and their faithful servants in India.
British media outlet The Guardian, in a recently published article on India’s next elections, has done exactly what the entire Leftist cabal, and the Western media have been doing for decades. It has finally admitted that there is no stopping Modi from winning another term at office. However, habits are hard to kill, so it has, as usual, painted a doom-and-gloom scenario for the country.
Article by The Guardian
The article ‘BJP win in India’s 2024 general election almost an inevitability’ by Hannah Ellis-Petersen reluctantly concedes that another Modi victory in the 2024 elections is now inevitable, as indicated by massive victories in the 3 states in the Northern part (Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan).
Terming Modi as a ‘political strongman’, the article then suggests that Modi’s victory is due to the BJP’s Hindu nationalist agenda, and Modi’s popularity among the large Hindu majority in India.
The article then claims that the BJP govt by Modi has been accused of “muzzling critical media, eroding the independence of the judiciary and all forms of parliamentary scrutiny”. The author has conveniently ignored to mention or acknowledge that media in India, including hundreds of current and former journalists with their YouTube channels, constantly and relentlessly criticize Modi, calling him names and leveling myriad allegations on him, without any basis. Those media and social media channels are not ‘banned’ in India, as the author would like the readers to believe. Rather, it is the people of India who keep voting for Modi again and again.
Modi has not inherited his Prime Ministership or political power from a parent, he has not been planted in his post with the help of foreign powers, but he has been chosen by the people of India, winning a thumping majority not once but twice. Another important fact most Western commentators forget to add is that Modi didn’t just drop out of the sky to become the PM of the country. He was the elected CM of Gujarat for more than 12 years, winning consecutive elections. Modi has risen to power from an ordinary BJP worker to that of the Prime Minister, just by his sheer grit, dedication, and leadership skills that set him apart from his contemporaries.
Hannah Ellis-Peterson also admits, albeit reluctantly, that the Opposition in India is unable to provide a strong alternative to BJP and Modi. She even claims that the BJP has been jailing its political opponents. Then proceeds in the very next sentence to add that the Opposition in India is strong in some pockets of the country. If Modi had been jailing his opponents, who are the opposition leaders that have won in these pockets and Telangana recently? The article doesn’t answer that.
Opposition leaders in India are conducting rallies, winning provincial elections, and openly ranting against the Prime Minister day and night, without anyone putting them in jail. however, the Western media won’t point that out. The article mentions the upcoming Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, mentioning it as a Hindu temple that has been made in place of a ‘demolished mosque’. The article conveniently forgets to ignore that the alleged mosque was an illegal structure built after demolishing a temple on one of Hinduism’s holiest sites, the birthplace of Lord Ram.
In a hilarious few paragraphs, the article quotes Ashutosh Varshney, the director of the Center for Contemporary South Asia at Brown University in the US, claiming that if Modi wins a third term, Muslims in India will be disenfranchised, like the black people were in the 19th and early 20th century America.
The author, for reasons best known to her, has not bothered to ask if Modi were to disenfranchise Muslims, why hasn’t he already done that in his first and second terms? What exactly do Varshney and the author think he has been waiting for?
The author has also not bothered to ask Varshney what rights, benefits, and welfare schemes has Modi kept the Muslims away from, based on which he is making such a tall claim. But perhaps honesty and honest questions are against the Left-liberal omerta.
The article does quote the BJP’s Jay Panda, who has asked for an example of a single instance where a Muslim citizen of India has been discriminated against based on their religion. But as has been usual for Indian and Western media portals, some claims are just repeated, without any accountability to analyze or question them. “Modi is against Muslims, Modi is bad for democracy, Hindus are bad people, India’s democracy is in danger because Modi keeps winning elections”, etc etc are such claims.
The fact is that India’s democracy is nurtured and held up firm by India’s people. The very people who have elected Modi twice and are most likely to elect him again. If Modi wanted to become a dictator, he would have become one in the last 10 years where he held an overwhelming mandate. Contrary to what the fading, dwindling Opposition leaders, and the Left-liberal media claim, Modi will win another election because India loves him, and India knows that Modi is good for the country.
The Opposition in India keeps sliding further down to non-relevance because, instead of realizing and respecting the will of the people and finding out the ways to connect with the people, they have been launching ad hominem attacks on Modi, and cursing the very people they expect to vote them to power.
As the date of the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya approaches, the Karnataka police department seems to have opened cases for investigation against Ram Mandir activists who allegedly engaged in property destruction and other offences during the peak of the movement for Ram Mandir thirty years ago.
According to an IANS report, the police department has assembled a special team and compiled a list of ‘suspects’ in instances related to the 1992 Ram Mandir movement, which led to acts of violence by Islamists and ensuing intercommunal conflicts.
Further, regarding a claimed incident of torching a minority-owned store in Hubballi on December 5, 1992, Srikanth Poojari has been taken into custody by the Hubballi police. Poojari is the third defendant in the case, and eight more defendants are being sought after by the police. Poojari was put under court supervision.
In a similar vein, Hubballi police have also created a list of 300 ‘suspects’ they claim are connected to communal conflicts that occurred between 1992 and 1996, according to the IANS report. The ‘accused’ are now in their early and late 70s, according to police sources, and many of them have left the city.
Many of the ‘suspects’ hold prominent positions today, and the police are contemplating the potential consequences of filing lawsuits against them. It is believed that the police department has been instructed by the Congress government to investigate these cases extensively.
Numerous members of the Ram Janma Bhoomi movement have gone on to become well-known BJP politicians and reports claim that under the BJP’s rule, cases against all these well-known leaders were dismissed.
Hindu organizations have denounced the Congress government’s current action with outrage. They have said that the Congress government, unable to stand the door-to-door campaigning by the BJP and Hindu organizations against the backdrop of the opening of the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, is using this tactic to start investigating instances that were reported thirty years ago.
The news is probably going to spark a big debate in the state. Notably, major violence broke out in Karnataka in the 1990s as a result of Islamist opposition to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement that was launched by veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani.

There is a new election conspiracy theory in town if you ask Journalist-turned-panelist Saba Naqvi. The names of Muslim voters are vanishing, she has said during a panel discussion on YouTube channel ‘Satya Hindi’.
The panel discussion was on the topic ‘Congress and Ram Mandir – Why party can’t decide to accept or reject Ayodhya invitation?’
Naqvi’s response is why should they, implying that the party which claims to have driven India to Independence and is the oldest political party is not obliged to go.
Saba Naqvi blamed the entire event and the discussion around Ram Mandir as the reason for Congress’s inability to decide whether it should accept the invite to a historic celebration in the country scheduled on 22nd January 2024.
“Itne bakwaas mein hum sabko phasaya gaya hai (we have all been trapped in such nonsense),” Naqvi said. She said that there is a big war happening in Gaza, the world is changing but India is on Ram Mandir and Ayodhya.
She also expressed her frustration over the fact that everyone is bowing down to the Ram Mandir, constant TV coverage of Ram Mandir and that this is making a joke out of “us”.
She also criticised headlines that mention the nearly 500-year-long journey of the revival of Ram Mandir. She expressed objection to Sadhvi Ritambhara’s interviews.
Saba Naqvi said that this is all a political game is happening within a framework of the BJP. “This is a gamble which the BJP has won,” she said.
She also said that this entire issue merits a set of “gaalis” (abuses) which are “spoken largely in Uttar Pradesh” but that she won’t say them.
The former political editor of Outlook Magazine also victimised the Muslim voter. She said that Muslim voter has gotten “very weak” and that where the Muslim voter does exist, their names are vanishing from the voterlists.
She said that this is being used by the BJP by using the face of Muslims to garner their votes. She criticised the show itself on which she was venting saying that the topic of show is making it look like “Godi media”.
After being questioned by anchor Ashutosh again as to why the Congress is not being clear and giving a definite response to the invite to end speculation, Saba Naqvi said that she agrees tha the Congress should give a clear answer.
She said that the Congress is scared of the BJP. This clearly appeared to have added to the panelist’s frustration that the Congress is refusing to take a stand against the BJP.
Naqvi had a meltdown about TV anchors and channels showing Ram’s visuals and images and news about the Ram Mandir. “This is all what our country has become,” she said.
Her response got more secular towards the end of her long answer when she pointed that it is wrong for such a news, whether about a mosque, church or temple, in any country becomes a 24/7 topic.
The entire meltdown reveals just how little understanding Saba Naqvi has of the significance of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha and Ram Mandir ianuguration and what it means to the Hindus of this country.
The headlines Naqvi criticised about the 500 years of struggle appears trivial to Islamists and Leftists. Recently, former NDTV anchor Ravish Kumar had a similar meltdown.
As the ceremony approaches, every day, a new face from the ecosystem is propping up, more morose with more fits of frustration with every passing day. The insults to Shri Ram, Ram Mandir and the faith of Hindus have become a daily ritual as they have been in the past decades. Good thing is, a lot has changed for Hindus for the better, nothing has changed for the ecosystem.
Anti-Hindu statements made by Saba Naqvi
June 2022: Made derogatory remarks against Shivling
Saba Naqvi had shared a picture of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre on 18th May 2022 to take a swipe at the Shivling discovered inside the Gyanvapi compound. Attributing it to Whatsapp, Naqvi shared an image of the huge dome of the centre with a caption that said, “Huge Shivling discovered at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.”
June 2021: Complaint against Naqvi for spreading fake news
The Uttar Pradesh Police had registered an FIR against Saba Naqvi along with Mohammed Zubair and others for sharing a manipulated video to allege that an elderly Muslim man had been thrashed for refusing to chant Jai Shri Ram.
September 2020: Tweet shows Naqvi cast aspersions that a sambhar masala brand was ‘Brahmised’
In 2020, entrepreneur Arun Pudur dug out an old tweet posted by ‘journalist’ Saba Naqvi in 2018. In the said tweet, Naqvi peddled her political agenda by casting aspersions about the saffronisation of Sambhar masala powder.
Posting a picture of ‘Brahmin Sambhar powder’ sachet, manufactured by Eastern Condiments Pvt Ltd, the journalist had tweeted, “My discovery in Karwar region near coast of Karnataka. Anant Kumar hedge country (suggesting a Hindu land)…”
On visiting the website of the Eastern Condiments Pvt Ltd, we found about the history of the company. The company (earlier knows as Eastern Trading Company) was founded by one M.E. Meeran, who hailed from a Muslim family in Kerala.
BJP leader K Annamalai on Monday slammed DMK’S Dayanidhi Maran after he called those criticising him over his remarks against migrants from UP, Bihar in Tamil Nadu as ‘jobless barber’.
“Instead of apologising, Thiru Dayanidhi Maran calls those spreading & reacting to his rants on our North Indian Brothers and Sisters the work of a ‘Jobless Barber’,” Annamalai tweeted, adding that DMK excels in degrading people by profession or language.
Degrading someone by profession or language seems to be the only thing DMK MP Thiru Dayanidhi Maran excels in.
Instead of apologising, Thiru Dayanidhi Maran calls those spreading & reacting to his rants on our North Indian Brothers and Sisters the work of a “Jobless Barber”.… pic.twitter.com/cN6jn55ZjG
“With this constant degrading, it is only evident that even the continuous taste of electoral defeat doesn’t seem to shake the resolve of the leaders in the I.N.D.I. Alliance,” he further tweeted.
Annamalai’s sharp rebuke came in response to Maran’s comment who reportedly attacked those criticising his remarks on migrants from UP, Bihar to Tamil Nadu as “jobless barber”.
Earlier last month, an old video of Maran making disparaging remarks against migrants coming from Hindi-speaking states to Tamil Nadu had gone viral on the internet.
“Hindi-speaking people are cleaning toilets and roads for us,” Dayanidhi Maran, a leader of DMK, one of the members of the INDI alliance, was seen saying at a public meeting in Tamil Nadu in the video.
In the first week of December 2023, Senthil Kumar, the DMK MP from Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu made the pejorative ‘gaumutra’ remark to mock the Hindi-speaking states in the Northern part of India. While addressing the Parliament on ‘The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill 2023’, the DMK leader referred to states in the Hindi heartland as “Gaumutra states”.
Weeks ahead of the much-awaited Pran Pratishtha in Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has put up a poster outside the residence of Lalu-Rabri and their son Tejaswi Yadav in Patna. Attacking the Hindu faith, the poster describes temple worship as a path to mental slavery.
Among the many posters put up outside the Lalu-Rabri residence, this controversial poster pits education against temple worshipping describing the latter as a path towards mental slavery. There is a picture of Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi on one side while on the other side, there is a picture of Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. Additionally, pictures of Buddha, Ashoka, Savitri Bai Phule, and others can also be seen at the top of the poster.
(Video Courtesy – TV9 Bharatvarsh)
The content on the poster reads, “Temple means the path of mental slavery and school means the path of light in life. When the temple bell rings, it gives us the message that we are moving toward superstition, hypocrisy, stupidity, and ignorance, and when the school bell rings, we get the message that we are moving toward rational knowledge and scientific light. Now you have to decide which direction you should go” attributing the quotation to Savitri Bai Phule.
As per the poster, the party is going to host an event on 7th January in Rohtas to mark the birth anniversary of Savitri Bai Phule. Reportedly, Education Minister Chandrashekhar will inaugurate the program in attendance of Minister Anita Devi, former Union Minister Kanti Singh, and former Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary who will be present as chief guests in the event.
Reportedly, the poster degrading temple worship has been put up by the RJD MLA from the Dehri Assembly constituency of Rohtas district Fateh Bahadur Singh Kushwaha. He has been unabatedly giving vitriolic remarks on Hindu Goddesses. As per reports, he has a history of making deplorable remarks on Sanatan Dharma, Hindu Gods, and Goddesses.
A few days back, Fateh said, “It is written in your scripture that Surasati (Saraswati) is the daughter of Brahma and Brahma ji has given birth to his own daughter. The intention went wrong and he (Brahma) married her. You understand for yourself… Who is worshipped, the one with character or the one without character?”
He continued his tirade stating, “I am not saying this about character and characterless, this is what Saint Kabirdas has said. I am saying what he said. He further said that there is no statue of Saraswati ji in schools. Should be installed.”

Notably, Maa Saraswati is called the goddess of knowledge and in Sanatan Dharma, she is worshiped in every house.
Previously, on 27th October, a video clip of Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh became viral on social media in which he went on a bizarre rant against the Hindu deity Maa Durga. In his contentious remarks, Fateh Bahadur Singh claimed Lord Shiva created Maa Durga and married her, sparking outrage from Hindus who demonstrated against Singh’s derogatory remarks against Hindu Gods. Continuing his bizarre rant, Singh asked where was the goddess when the Britishers were committing atrocities. The incident took place at Rohtas in Bihar.
Back then, he said, “Durga is an imaginary character of an imaginary story.” He also raised questions about the birth of Goddess Durga and the vermilion (Sindur) of Maa Durga. The RJD MLA asked on which ground Durga killed Mahishasura.
He had said, “Manuwadis say that Durga was created by all the gods. So, Durga is the daughter of all the gods. On the other hand, they say that Durga is the wife of Lord Shiva. But Shiva is one of the gods who created Durga. So, Shiva married his daughter Durga. And why Durga was fighting Mahishasur in the night only? Why would she go there at night?”
The opposition has gone on a tirade against the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony set to be held on the 22nd of January 2023. Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress Sam Pitroda on 26th December said that “too much importance is being given to religion through the Ram Mandir and that democracy is being undermined. His statement came just weeks before the country is due to celebrate the inauguration of and the consecration ceremony at the Ram Mandir at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Sam Pitroda is one of Rahul Gandhi’s most trusted advisors and aides. His statement about Ram Mandir adds to a series of anti-temple jibes he has taken in the past.
