Prime Minister Modi, who reached Germany on Sunday, was received by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz upon his arrival at Schloss Elmau.

PM Modi had a busy itinerary today as he attended marathon meetings with President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz, and President of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Later in the evening, PM Modi met the President of the European Union Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

PM Modi has been sharing snippets of the G7 summit on his official Twitter handle. “Excellent meeting with @Bundeskanzler Scholz. Thanked him for the warm hospitality during the @G7 Summit. We discussed cooperation in key sectors like commerce and energy. We also had deliberations on furthering environmentally friendly growth for our planet,” Tweeted PM Modi while sharing his picture with the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz.

He also shared snippets of him addressing the G7 summit, where he highlighted India’s efforts for green growth, clean energy, sustainable lifestyles and global wellbeing. Modi also called on rich nations comprising the G7 grouping to support India’s efforts towards meeting its climate commitments. Modi said, “India’s dedication to climate commitments is evident from its performance. There’s a misconception that poor countries… cause more damage to environment. But India’s history of over 1,000 years completely refutes this view. Ancient India has seen a time of immense prosperity,” said the Indian PM.

Modi further said, “We hope rich countries of G7 will support India’s efforts. A huge market for clean energy technologies is emerging in India.”

“India has world’s first fully solar power operated airport; India’s huge railway system will become net zero in this decade…. We achieved target of 40 per cent energy capacity from non-fossil sources nine years before time,” the PM added.

Modi further said that the ‘hota hai’, ‘chalta hai’ (It happens, things happen like this) mentality is India’s past. It has now changed to ‘karna hai’, ‘karna hi hai’, ‘samay pe karna hai’ (have to do it and do it on time).

The Prime Minister concluded his address by saying that Indians who have settled in foreign countries are India’s envoys and its brand ambassadors.

Modi also posted pictures of him meeting various world leaders like South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Argentinian President Alberto Fernandez on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit at Schloss Elmau, Germany.

On June 28, Modi will depart from Germany and fly to the United Arab Emirates to express his condolences for the loss of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country’s former leader.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s personal assistant PP Madhavan accused of raping a Dalit woman: Details

The Delhi Police has registered a case against Sonia Gandhi’s personal assistant PP Madhavan on rape charges. According to news reports, a case has been registered against 71-year-old Madhavan following allegations of Rape of a Dalit woman.

Times Now has reported that the Delhi police issued a statement which said that Madhavan has been booked under charges pertaining to sections 376 (Punishment for Rape) and 506 ( Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). An FIR was filed against Madhavan on complaints of rape in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar police station on June 25, Saturday.

Denying the allegations, Madhavan has said that they are baseless and it’s a conspiracy. However, he has been accused of raping a Dalit woman after an allurement of marriage and a job. According to News 18, the victim turned widow in 2020, and her husband used to work as a labourer at the Congress office in Delhi.

As mentioned in the FIR filed by the victim, Madhavan called her to a house in Delhi’s Sundar Nagar for a work-related interview. During their meeting, Madhavan highlighted that he had divorced his wife and wanted to marry the victim. The woman, who was going through financial distress after Covid-19 agreed with the proposal and they started being in touch over video calls.

As per the FIR, one day Madhavan crossed his limits and asked the victim to meet him at the Uttam Nagar Metro Station Terminal. In a vehicle parked at the station, Madhavan forced himself on her and raped the woman. In another incident mentioned in the FIR, the victim was called by Madhavan for the second time in the same house where the woman allegedly went through the same, without her consent.

The victim filed a complaint against Madhavan after his allurements of marriage and employment turned into threats. In her FIR, the victim has requested the Police to grant her protection as she has been receiving death threats from PP Madhavan.

‘Liberal’ journalists suffer a meltdown on Twitter after Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair was arrested by Delhi Police for hurting religious sentiments

Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair has been arrested by the special cell of Delhi Police on the charges of hurting religious sentiments and promoting enmity. Zubair has been arrested under sections 153 and 295 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He will be produced in court tomorrow for his hearing.

The arrest came days after several Hinduphobic posts from Zubair’s Facebook accounts had gone viral. After netizens shared his old posts mocking Hindu Gods, Zubair had apparently deleted his Facebook account. Zubair had also recently deleted dozens of tweets from his Twitter account, though it is not clear what was the content of those tweets.

Following his arrest, the Indian ‘liberal’ cabal suffered an expected meltdown. Rana Ayyub, who was dog-whistling the Islamist crowd against former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma for her ‘blasphemy’ suddenly found shades of emergency if action is taken against anyone for hurting religious sentiments.

In her tweet, Ayyub wrote, “The Prime Minister of India talks about the horrors of Emergency while he has unleashed one in India.”

NDTV journalists were expectedly among those who suffered heartburn post the arrest of Mohammed Zubair. In some cases, it was hard to tell whether they are more upset that Nupur Sharma has not been arrested yet or if Zubair has been arrested.

Reacting to the development, Gargi Rawat wrote, “Journalist who routinely busted fake news, and called out hate speech, especially the recent incident of the BJP spokesperson’s controversial comments on the Prophet, arrested #zubair

Rajdeep Sardesai was also upset that people ‘exposed’ by Mohammed Zubair have not been arrested yet while he has been taken into custody.

Similar reactions to his arrest poured in from several other journalists as well, with similar wording to each other.

Even Congress Member of Parliament from Kishanganj, Dr. Md Jawaid stepped in to register his disappointment that Nupur Sharma has not been arrested for her comments on Prophet Muhammad while Zubair has been arrested for his hinduphobic posts.

When Mohammed Zubair unleashed an army of Islamists against Nupur Sharma

Most of the people upset with Mohammed Zubair’s arrest seem to be more upset that former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has not been arrested. Back in May, during a debate on Times Now on the disputed Gyanvapi structure, Nupur Sharma argued that since people are mocking the Hindu faith repeatedly, then they can also mock other religions referring to Islamic beliefs. Taking that video out of context, Zubair shared it with his Twitter followers declaring Nupur a rabid communal hatemonger and someone who can incite riots.

The dog-whistling obviously worked perfectly as troll accounts descended upon Nupur Sharma’s timeline giving her all kinds of threats including threats to behead her. Apart from online threats, there were bounties placed on Nupur Sharma’s head as well.

Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair arrested by Delhi Police for hurting religious sentiments

Mohammed Zubair, the co-founder of leftist propagandist portal Alt News, has been arrested by the Delhi Police under Section 153, 295 of the Indian Penal Code.

Section 295 deals with deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs while Section 153 concerns wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot.

“Today, during the course of investigation of a case registered u/s 153A/295A IPC against Mohammed Zubair, he joined in the investigation and after having sufficient evidence on record, he was arrested. He is being produced before the duty magistrate for seeking further PC remand,” said the police.

The arrest came weeks after Mohammed Zubair’s old social media posts mocking and insulting Hindu Gods and Goddesses had gone viral on the internet, following which he deleted his Facebook account and pulled down the controversial tweets.

Pratik Sinha, another co-founder of Alt News, shared a message on Twitter about Zubair’s arrest.

Sinha claimed that Zubair was being investigated by Delhi Police special cell for a 2020 case. He claimed Zubair already had protection against arrest in this case from Delhi High Court. However, at 6:45 PM he was informed of another FIR on him and he was subsequently arrested.

In a subsequent tweet, Sinha said, “After the medical examination, Zubair is being taken to an undisclosed location. Neither Zubair’s lawyers or I are being told where. We are in the police van with him. No police person is wearing any name tag.”

Mohammed Zubair’s old Hinduphobic posts surface online

On 13 June 2022, days after India witnessed violent protests that saw Islamists running riot, indulging in violence over the alleged insult of Prophet Muhammad, Twitter user The Hawk Eye (@thehawkeye) shared a collage of past tweets and posts by Mohammed Zubair mocking Hindu Gods and beliefs.

In one of the tweets shared by The Hawk Eye, Zubair is seen mocking Shivling and comparing it with the top view of the Vatican City. He said the post comparing Shivling with the Vatican City inspired him to come up with a parody Facebook page ‘Unofficial: Subramanian Swamy’ in 2014.

Apparently, one of the posts on the Facebook page ‘Unofficial Mohammed Zubair‘ mocks Arun Govil to take a swipe at Lord Ram, suggesting that ISRO must consult the actor because he would know more about the rocketry.

Another post by ‘Unofficial Mohammed Zubair’ shows an aeroplane under the water with the caption: “Breaking: Underwater Pushpak Vimana used by Raavan 5000 years found in the Indian Ocean.”

Besides ridiculing Hindu Gods, Zubair has also poked fun at Hindu beliefs and took a dig at Sanskrit, regarded as one of the most important languages of Hinduism and the means of communication by the Hindu Gods.

As his Hinduphobic posts started getting traction, with netizens sharing screenshots to highlight how Zubair has been moving and hurting the sentiments of Hindus, the AltNews co-founder quietly pulled down his Facebook page. A few days later, he deleted the controversial tweets as well.

Bombay HC dismisses plea challenging PoP ban for sculpting idols used during Hindu festivals, plea contends PoP’s pH level is similar to that of drinking water

The Bombay High Court on Monday dismissed a plea challenging the validity of the revised guidelines which banned the use of Plaster of Paris (PoP) for making idols which are used during Hindu festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratri. The petition was filed by a social worker.

In his petition, Ajay Sadashiv Vaishampayan argued that the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) should have prohibited the immersion of PoP idols in natural water bodies rather than prohibiting their manufacturing. He continued by saying that a ban on PoP idols was unnecessary and that the CPCB’s 2010 guidelines on idol immersion were sufficient.

The guidelines for idol immersion were notified by the CPCB in 2010 and were revised in 2020.

The petitioner added that PoP was banned without conducting any water-related scientific tests. On the basis of a lab test, he added that PoP’s pH level is comparable to that of drinking water.

The argument further stated that the Shadu clay idols, a substitute, were worse for the environment. It was also said that because clay is not readily available, mass production of Shadu clay idols for a festival like Ganesh Chathurthi is not feasible. The petition stated that mining clay results in soil degradation and that it contains numerous pollutants as a result of mining.

The plea also argued that clay idols need highly specialised labour, in contrast to PoP, and that prohibiting PoP would prevent the less fortunate from enjoying these festivals due to the idols’ exorbitant cost.

To substantiate his claim, the petitioner in his plea also highlighted how the National Green Tribunal had, in 2013, quashed the Gujarat government’s decision to ban PoP Ganesh idols.

The bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice MS Karnik, however, dismissed the PIL after noting that the NGT had already decided the matter and that the Supreme Court had already upheld that decision.

The petitioner and a sculptor organisation petitioned the High Court in January 2021 to overturn the Central Pollution Control Board’s revised guidelines for idol immersion in 2020, which included the ban on PoP.

However, the High Court instructed them to request relief from the NGT after it dismissed the petition stating that it was not maintainable. The NGT said that while the level of damage caused by PoP was unknown, it was undeniable that it was a pollutant.

In November 2021, the Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal against the NGT order. In a fresh round of litigation, petitioner Ajay Vaishampayan had now again challenged the guidelines and ban on PoP.

US: Nude adults cycle in the Seattle Pride Parade attended by children and families

On Sunday (June 26), a group of nude adults were spotted among underage children at a Pride Parade, which was organised at 4th Avenue in Downtown Seattle in the United States.

As per reports, children as young as 10 years watched as nude adults cycled during the event. The show included the participation of Boy Scouts of America, who were spotted with American and pride flags.

And then there were nude cyclists, who were endorsing body positivity. “Challenge body shame. Build self-esteem,” read a sign. The event saw the participation of nude men and women, Amazon activists demanding a ban on transphobic books and pro-abortion protestors.

Journalist Andy Ngo reported that a fountain party was organised as part of the event, where clothing was optional. As such, several men were spotted roaming around naked amidst young children.

“Adults and children alike cool off at the clothing-optional water party during Seattle’s #Pride celebrations,” the journalist added.

Reportedly, Seattle police officers were stopped from joining the Pride Parade March. According to conservative American columnist Todd Starnes, it is not known whether the nude cyclers were authorised to take part in the event.

“It seems to me that the average gay person in America would be just as appalled at such a public display of debauchery — especially in front of children. Why they don’t condemn this behaviour is beyond me,” he added.

Partially nude transsexual twerks in front of underage children

Earlier on June 11, a transsexual woman resorted to sexually inappropriate behaviour in front of minor children during a Pride Parade in Washington DC, USA. The event, organized by Marriott International, was supposedly meant to acknowledge the evolution of the LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods in the US Capital.

Considered to be one of the largest parades, the event witnessed the presence of both adolescent and pre-pubescent children. During a march by European Union staff and supporters, the transsexual woman displayed his breasts in full public glare. He also twerked his hips as the frenzied crowd cheered in unison.

This was despite knowing that a large number of children had come to attend the event. With a sign that read ‘Sex work’, the semi-nude transsexual was also spotted twerking for the bystanders and entertaining them.

The sign, carried by him, also bore the name of Mary Magdalene (one of Jesus’ followers and a witness to his crucifixion and resurrection). He reportedly held a trolley during the 1.5 km-long march.

The event continued between 3 pm to 7:30 pm at Logan and Dupont Circle neighbourhoods in Washington, DC. The contentious videos went viral when journalist Andy Ngo drew the attention of his followers to the disturbing trend of exposing underage children to sexual behaviour.
