Sanjay Dixit said that his book will now be released by Garuda Prakashan, an international publishing venture focusing on Indic narratives. Garuda Prakashan has confirmed the same on social media and expressed their gratitude towards the author for putting his faith in them.

Several authors have withdrawn their books from Bloomsbury India after the publication house caved into the bullying by liberals, Congress supporters and Islamists. Sanjay Dixit is the latest addition to the list.

Punjab: One Khalistani sympathiser arrested from Amritsar for performing prayers at Golden Temple for ‘Referendum 2020’

0

The Punjab Police has arrested one Khalistani terror sympathiser from the Golden Temple complex after he allegedly organised prayers for the Referendum 2020, reports India Today.

According to the reports, Khalistani terror sympathiser Gurmeet Singh also shot a video of the prayer he organised at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. Reportedly, Singh organised prayers after the pro-Khalistan group Sikh for Justice (SFJ) had claimed that it would offer $5000 to anyone performing prayers for Khalistan at Akal Takht on August 23.

In an attempt to attract Sikhs into performing prayers for Khalistan cause and garner support for ‘Referendum 2020’, Sikh for Justice’s Gurpatwant Singh Pannu had announced a $5000 reward for people organising such prayers at Akal Takht and $500 for performing them at any other gurdwaras.

Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran, works as a Sikh preacher (granthi), confessed to the police that he was promised $5000 by Pannu if prayer is held for Khalistan at the Golden Temple.

Earlier too, the Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu had offered money to lure people to support Referendum 2020. He had also offered air tickets and jobs at Khalistani events organised in foreign countries.

The Khalistani terrorists had also claimed to have offered money to coronavirus patients in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. In the past, he also tried to radicalise Sikh soldiers by offering them full salary and additional Rs 5000 for deserting the Indian Army.

What is the Sikh Referendum – 2020?

Sikh Referendum-2020 is a separatist movement being planned by US-based radical group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) in support of a separate state of Khalistan. The pro-Khalistani movement is supported and funded by the terrorist state of Pakistan in a hope that this movement will create instability in Punjab in India, which shares a border with Pakistan.

The referendum asks Sikhs living across the world to build a consensus in favour of Khalistan and sign a declaration for the formation of a sovereign and independent country in “India-occupied Punjab” on the basis that Sikhs are the indigenous people of Punjab and have a historical homeland, are a separate religion and have the right to self-determination.

Pakistan’s spy agency ISI is reportedly instigating the Sikhs based out of Europe and America against India after failing to penetrate their agenda in Punjab. The Pakistan spy agency has been attempting to exploit the unsuspecting Sikhs to push its agenda and achieve its nefarious designs against India.

However, in a big blow to Pakistan sponsored Khalistani movement, the government of India has banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) for its separatist agenda. The government banned this organisation under the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).

Muzaffarnagar: 10-year-old married off to her rapist, given triple talaq

Zakir Naik says Hindus are less than 60% of Indian population, Muslims can win if they follow his advice

Islamist preacher Zakir Naik in a recent video on YouTube has made extremely controversial and dangerous remarks on the internal matters of India. During the video, he urged Muslims to united behind a single political party and suggested that they should perform ‘Hijra’ (migration) if they are unable to perform their daily rituals. He made the remarks during a response to a question from one of India followers living in Kuwait.

Zakir Naik said, “Do you know we Muslims, Alhamdulillah, according to the official statistics of the Indian government more than ten years back, it says that Muslims are 14.2% (of the Indian population) and a few years back they said that we are more than 200 million Muslims in India.” He claimed that this figure was without counting many Muslims in Assam and other parts of India.

“Actually, according to me, the Muslims will be close to 250 to 300 million in India. The government suppresses the figure. Officially, Indonesia is counted as the country which has the maximum number of Muslims… but according to me, number 1 in the world, the country which has maximum number of Muslims, it is my beloved country India,” the Radical Islamic preacher said.

Zakir Naik was speaking on the “Solution to overcome the harassment and oppression of the Muslims in India by the fascist BJP Govt”. He said, “Politically, we should have only one party. We Muslims should make another political party exclusively, only, for Muslims. And this party should be a force by itself.” He said that this party should be of all Muslims regardless of the sect that they belong to.

He goes on to say that Muslims should join hands with Dalits in order to increase their strength and claims that Dalits are not Hindus. “We will be close to 600 million, more than 40 per cent of the population. We can join hands with the other minorities and then we will be a bigger force.” Effectively, he is saying that Hindus are less than 60 per cent of the population. The preacher further says that Muslims should support those parties that are not ‘communal’.

The Islamic preacher then elaborated on another solution for Muslims individually. He said, “If you feel that you cannot do you farayz, you cannot do most of your Sunnah, then Allah clearly mentions in Surah Nisa, chapter number 4, verse 97 that you have to do Hijra.” He then says that Hijra can be of various types. A Muslim could flee to a Muslim majority country or in a state within India or a different city within a state or a different area within the same city.

“What you can do is do Hijra to a different state which is more lenient towards Muslims.. The best state I can think of is Kerala,” Zakir Naik stated. He said that the demographics of the state are in the favour of Muslims where people are not ‘communal’ in nature. he also mentions that the BJP government does not have much hold over Kerala. Hyderabad and Mumbai are other non-communal places he mentions.

The Left rules in Kerala and the Maha Vikas Aghadi Alliance comprising of Shiv Sena, NCP and the Congress party rules in Maharashtra. Muslim leader Asaduddin Owaisi has his base in Hyderabad. However, he says that the best option is to do Hijra, i.e. migrate to a Muslim country.

Tamil Nadu: Hindu Sadhu Saravanan commits suicide after police officer Anthony Michael thrashes and humiliates him

A 42-year-old Hindu sadhu – Saravanan has ended his life out of humiliation and torture near Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s village, after a group of policemen led by a local sub-inspector Anthony Micheal humiliated the Hindu Sadhu.

According to the reports, the shocking incident occurred at Kundangal Kaadu in Sankagiri taluk in Salem district of Tamil Nadu. Sadhu Saravanan used to perform special poojas at new moon days for his devotees, who complain of being possessed by ghosts. Several people visited his ashram situated in village Puliyampatti Kudalamkadu near Edappadi for divine healing and to get a holy pendant.

Reportedly, the Sadhu used to sit at his home and attended devotees coming to him. On 14 August, two women who had reported of being possessed by ghosts came to the Sadhu in a semi-naked position. Interestingly, a group of policemen from Thevur police station also landed at his place at that time and beat him up.

SI Anthony Michael beat up Hindu Sadhu brutally

SI Anthony Michael also rushed to the spot and allegedly thrashed him after abusing him. Some people reportedly said the police beat him up when he was eating a packet of food given by a woman devotee.

Following the attack on him, the Hindu Sadhu went missing the next morning. As local people and his friends began a search next day, his friends received his video on Whatsapp in which he said that the police beating had led to his depression.

Later, on 15th August his decomposed body was found in that area and the police found a mobile near the body. “Sub-inspector Anthony Michael beat me up thinking he can do anything with the power he got,” the sadhu alleged in the video.

Family allege police brutality led to death

After the death of the Hindu Sadhu, the police officials have filed the case as an unnatural death case, thus raising doubts over the credibility of the investigation, who are now accused of protecting the SI.

Meanwhile, the son and daughter of victim Saravanan said to the local media that the SI had brutally attacked their father. “Dad was upset at being attacked in front of his family and did not speak to us and left home on Saturday morning. But his body was found in a forest area”, he recalled the events.

Saravanan is survived by his wife, a daughter and son. They have requested the authorities to initiate action against SI Anthony.

Hindus demands justice

The social media users have demanded justice to the Hindu Sadhu and also pointed out how the media in Tamil Nadu have chosen silence over the death as in this case the deceased is a Hindu.

The netizens trended #JusticeForSaravanan on Twitter and criticised Tamil media’s hypocrisy for ignoring the mysterious death of the Hindu Sadhu, who was brutally beaten by the Hindu Sadhu.

Meanwhile, Hindu groups such as Hindu Makkal Katchi has said that a protest across Tamil Nadu to seek justice for Hindu Sadhu Saravanan.

Here are 5 excuses liberals have put forward in defence of modern day ‘book burning’, and why it makes them look like total morons

Bloomsbury India decided to withdraw a book on the Delhi Riots on Saturday after being bullied into the decision by a left-wing outrage mob, comprising of liberals, Congress supporters and Islamists. Later, it was revealed that Left Historian William Dalrymple had contributed prominently towards that decision. The book, ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’, was authored by Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Dr Prerna Malhotra.

Since they announced their decision to withdraw their book, Bloomsbury India has come under significant criticism from people across the spectrum with multiple authors withdrawing their books from the publication house in protest. However, liberals continue to defend them even when they engaged in blatant censorship of freedom of expression.

Liberals are now coming up with ridiculous explanations in order to justify Bloomsbury India’s decision to withdraw the Delhi Riots book. They now claim that censoring the book is not a freedom of expression issue at all. Their justification for the deliberate censorship of contrarian political opinion is that the book is supposedly ‘hate speech’ and ‘lies’. Here, we shall look into the various arguments given by the outrage mob to justify censorship.

“It is not a free speech issue”

Liberals have made it clear that they wish to exercise a monopoly over what constitutes truth and they want us to trust their words over our own eyes. “Lies is not a free speech issue,” declared Swara Bhasker. Amusingly enough, she has not even read the book because it was not even released. How could she then know if it contains lies or not? What happened to the famous liberal dictum of “Watch the movie before outraging”?

“The book enables a pogrom!”

Rana Ayyub demonstrated the intimate relationship between Islam and Communism. She claimed that it was an issue between the ‘oppressor’ and the ‘oppressed’ and one of freedom of speech. Meanwhile, her almost sudden rise to fame in western media circles is rather intriguing and only reveals the pits that journalism has fallen to in the West.

It is a bit rich coming from someone whose book ‘Gujarat Files’ was trashed by Supreme Court as based on ‘surmises, conjectures and suppositions’.

“Work of Propaganda!”

Arfa Khanum Sherwani, ‘journalist’ at leftist propaganda website The Wire, justified the withdrawal of the book by calling it a work of propaganda. It is ironical indeed.

“Free Speech is not desirable!”

Time’s ‘Next Gen Leader’ Gurmehar Kaur was the most honest among all of them. She said quite clearly that freedom of expression is a virtue worth protecting. In fact, according to her, freedom of expression is a tool of oppression. The rest of her statement is borrowed from the SJW mob in Universities in the United States that regularly censors Conservative speech.

Make no mistake, what Gurmehar Kaur is really saying is that people must not be allowed to speak as they see fit and liberals should have the authority to dictate what speech is permissible. ‘Hate Speech’ is, of course, a convenient term invented to disguise their lust for power under a cloak of virtue. What she is effectively condemning is free speech itself.

“Hindutva folks don’t read anyway”

Then, there was the usual snobbery. It is important to realise here that they feel no shame at all about censoring contrarian political opinion. They consider it a victory whenever they manage to bully a platform into withdrawing its support for non-left speech. Liberals are quite like Radical Muslims in that way.

While the rest of the world looks on with horror at the devastation wreaked by Islamic Terrorism, Radical Muslims actually celebrate it with great pomp and vigour. It is the same with liberals. While everyone feels bile rising through their throat watching the distasteful tactics of the Left, liberals wear it as a badge of pride.

All of this again goes on to demonstrate that liberals do not care about principles, they only care about power. They will advocate action that enhances their power even if it is seemingly inconsistent with the principles they claim to espouse. A justification, no matter how twisted, can always be produced later on to claim that their actions were never in contradiction with their principles.

The reason for this is simple, liberals do not seek to convince anyone. They only wish to ensure that their absolute control over power is not threatened. And in order to achieve that objective, they will go to any extent necessary. Principles are minor inconveniences that can always be rectified to suit one’s objective.

Thus, quite clearly, liberal support for ‘freedom of expression’ comes with various terms and conditions. The most important one, of course, is bending the knee and serving their nefarious agenda.

When Bloomsbury withdrew a book and pulped the books in stock as a former UPA-era minister was called out

In January 2014, Bloomsbury India had withdrawn the book ‘The Descent of Air India’ written by the airline’s former Executive Director Jitender Bhargava because it called out Praful Patel, former Minister of Civil Aviation. Patel had also filed a defamation case against the publishing house.

The book blamed senior NCP leader and former minister of civil aviation in the UPA government, Praful Patel for the national airline’s weak financial health. The publishing house had also apologised to Patel if the content had caused any embarrassment to him. “It was never our intention to discredit him in any manner,” Bloomsbury had said in a statement.

Published in October 2013, The Descent of Air India mentioned how the deal to purchase 111 planes between 2005 to 2006 from Boeing and Airbus and merger with Indian Airlines added to financial woes of the national carrier. He was the union minister for civil aviation from May 2004 to January 2011. Following the apology, Patel had withdrawn the defamation case against Bloomsbury. In 2014 it was reported that while Patel had dropped defamation case against Bloomsbury, he had decided to pursue the case against Bhargava. His lawyer was Satish Maneshinde, the same one who is currently presenting Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

All the copies of the book left in the stock were destroyed and pulped.

Bhargava had said that his allegations can be substantiated with the documents. He later went on to self-publish the book.

Bloomsbury and the art of killing books

On Sunday, the London-based publishing house withdrew publishing of a book on Delhi riots ‘Delhi Riots 2020 The Untold Story’ after the ‘liberals’ bullied Bloomsbury. Bloomsbury India has decided to withdraw the publication of the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’ by authors of Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra. In a statement, the publication house cited a ‘virtual pre-publication launch organised without our knowledge by the authors’ as one of the reasons for its decision.

Even as the Bloomsbury informed that they are withdrawing the book, it was marked as unavailable on e-commerce site Amazon. Before that, the book was available for pre-order, and a large number of people had pre-ordered the book ahead of its planned launch in next month.

More authors withdraw their books from Bloomsbury after the withdrawal of Delhi riots book by the publishing house, others commit to never work with them

After publishing house Bloomsbury announced that they are not going to print the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: An Untold Story’, many authors decided to discontinue their association with them. Now, more authors have announced that they withdrawing their books from the publishing house.

Shefali Vaidya and Nityananda Mishra have announced the same, and Shantanu Gupta is reconsidering his association with them.

In a series of tweets, Shefali Vaidya said that as a contracted writer with Bloomsbury she is disappointed with the way they behaved with Adv Monika Arora, the author of the book on Delhi Riots. She added that the publishing house had a contract with her and went through the whole process of publishing it. The book was currently in printing when they decided to pull the plug.

Vaidya further said that if she will self publish her upcoming books if needed. “I will self-publish my book if I have to, but I will NOT allow my creativity and freedom of expression to be killed by an incestuous clique of Mullah-Marxist-Missionaries,” she added.

Nityananda Misra’s “Sunāma: Beautiful Sanskrit Names” was planned to be launched soon under Bloomsbury’s banner. He, however, has decided to put the project with them on hold and asked them to reconsider their decision with the book on Delhi Riots. In a letter to Bloomsbury, he said, “If Bloomsbury India sticks with its decision o not publish “Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story”, then I will not be publishing “Sunāma: Beautiful Sanskrit Names” and any of my future books with Bloomsbury India.”

Shantanu Gupta, author of “The Monk Who Became CM” also expressed his displeasure over the decision taken by the publishing house. He said, “I am shocked at their recent act of censorship of a book at the last moment. I am strongly re-considering my association with them.”

Yesterday, Anand Ranganathan, Sandeep Deo and Sanjay Dixit had announced withdrawal of their books from Bloomsbury, while Sanjeev Sanyal and Harsh Maddhusudan had committed to never work with them in future.

It is believed that more authors will follow and withdraw their association with the publishing house for their unethical behaviour in withdrawing the book.

IIPM Director and Mamata Banerjee sympathiser Arindam Chaudhuri arrested for tax evasion

Arindam Chaudhuri, the director of Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), was arrested on Friday by the tax officials after unduly claiming the payment of service tax to the tune of Rs 23 crore.

According to the reports, the Central Goods & Services Tax (CGST) South Delhi Commissionerate arrested him on Friday under Section 89 of the Finance Act which enlists penalties for evading payment of service tax. Chaudhuri was arrested over exceedingly claiming the payment of Central Value Added Tax (CENVAT) service tax credit of about Rs 23 crore.

Chaudhuri had made a credit entry of CENVAT of around Rs 23 crore as there was a shortage of funds to pay the service tax. He showed the amount in next year’s balance sheets, but he never paid it.

Gurudas Malik Thakur, Chaudhuri’s colleague and also another director of IIPM, was also arrested under the same section and sent to 14 days judicial custody. The tax officials produced them before duty magistrate Jyoti Maheshwari in the Patiala House Court, and they were granted judicial custody of 14 days. They will be produced before the court again on 3rd September.

Reportedly, the tax officials have begun an investigation and are likely to cover other properties held by Chaudhuri and his company in Delhi, including overseas properties.

Earlier, he was arrested on March 14 and later granted bail after he had allegedly submitted a forged medical certificate when police had asked him to join an investigation in connection with a 2016 case.

Arindam Chaudhuri, a Mamata Banerjee sympathiser

Arindam Chaudhuri, who is now accused of illegal tax claims, is a well known supporter and sympathiser of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

In the past, he has written editorials and blogs hailing Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress. Interestingly, Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of Mamata Banerjee had an MBA degree from Chaudhuri’s IIPM.

Last year, just after the Lok Sabha elections, a controversy had erupted after Abhishek Banerjee had furnished wrong details about his educational qualifications in the affidavit submitted by him during elections. A complaint was registered with the election officials alleging that in 2014 elections, Banerjee has submitted in the affidavit that he has completed his MBA degree from IIPM university which is not recognised.

In 2015, IIPM went defunct after it was found that the institute was offering MBA degrees to students on false pretences. In a landmark judgement in 2014, the Delhi High Court had categorically asked IIPM to stop offering any undergraduate or postgraduate degree, and also to not use words like BBA and MBA in its advertisements as it was not authorised to issue such degrees.
