Delhi elections: Only 19.37 percent voting recorded till 1 PM, Muslim dominated Okhla sees lowest voting at only 5%

0

The people of Delhi seems to have chosen to sit at home instead of casting their vote in the ongoing Delhi assembly elections. The voting has been extremely slow as only 19.37 per cent of the registered voters made it to voting booths till 1 PM to exercise their right.

Reportedly, polling for Delhi assembly polls has now slowly picked up as at 12 noon, only 15.57 per cent voter turnout was recorded, according to Election Commission.

Sultanpur Majra has recorded the highest polling with 25% while Muslim-dominated Okhla has registered only at 5%, the lowest in Delhi. Earlier, we had reported on how voters of Jamia Nagar of Okhla constituency, who had once shouted ‘Hum Khagaz Nahi Dhikayenge’,  thronged to the voting booth after Muslim clerics had issued diktats to voters to cast their vote.

President Ram Nath Kovind also cast his vote at the polling station at the Dr Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya, within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex earlier this morning. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader LK Advani and his daughter Pratibha Advani cast their votes at a polling booth on Aurangzeb road.

Earlier in the day, Congress candidate and former AAP MLA Alka Lamba slapped an AAP worker at a polling booth in Majnu Ka Tila after he allegedly misbehaved and allegedly made some lewd comments on her son.

The elections to 70-member Delhi legislative assembly finally began on Saturday as the voting started at 8 am and voters were seen arriving at polling stations. To ensure safe polling, the Delhi Police has deployed at least 40,000 personnel, 19,000 home guards, and 190 companies of paramilitary forces across Delhi. Apart from this, the Delhi Police have also set up checking drives and flying squads, along with patrolling on boats in the Yamuna.

The ruling Aam Aadmi Party will look to win another five-year term in the office, while the BJP which has emerged as the principal opposition will look to wrest power and form its own government. The results of these elections will be declared on February 11.

Two couples fall in love at Shaheen Bagh during hate-filled anti-CAA protests, get married

0

The anti-CAA protest which has been raging on for weeks in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area has exposed itself to be deeply Islamic and anti-India and anti-Hindu in nature with posters like F*ck Hindutva that distorted the Om symbol to several slogans like ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and ‘Jinnah wali Azaadi’, that exposed the Islamist mobs’ deep-seated hatred for Hindus.

Amidst all this, two couples who have been a part of this anti-Hindu and anti-India protest have somehow taken out the time to fall in love with each other and are planning to get married.

According to reports, one of the couples named Junaid and Samar, both medical students, introduced themselves to each other in Shaheen Bagh during the ongoing protest and subsequently fell in love with each other. They reportedly tied the not on February 7 after the consent of their family members.

Similarly, another couple, Zeeshan-Ayesha, who also met each other while protesting in Shaheen Bagh against the newly introduced Citizenship Amendment Law, are getting married today. Zeeshan and Ayesha’s family already knew each other, but the young couple never thought about marriage. During the Shaheen Bagh protest, the two reportedly got close and decided to marry each other.

It is heart-rending that these students who have been busy for all this while spreading hate against India and Hindus and the government by raising anti-India, anti-Hindu slogans like ‘Jinnah wali Azadi’ and displaying posters like F*ck Hindutva, and resorting to all sorts of violent means like mugging and heckling, assaulting those who even try and step into their marked territory, have at least got the time to find love for themselves.

George Soros: Manipulator of the Global order, the Indian nexus and the concerns for India

George Soros, who has now declared war against India and is a Hungarian-American businessman, is not just one of the richest men in the world but also the US’ most politically influential philanthropist. He was born in a Jewish family and survived the holocaust by impersonating himself as a Christian. He later moved to England and became protégé of a radical positivist, Mr Karl Popper, who had a significant influence on his ideology which eventually resulted in the formation of the Open Society Foundation.

Initially, in London, he worked as an investment banker and in the year 1956, he moved to the US where after a few years he established a hedge fund under the name of the Quantum fund. The fund was famous for its aggressive investment policies accompanied by high returns for investors. In the year 2000 Soros renounced from the active management of the fund due to a series of huge losses.

In 1984 Soros used some of his profits to propagate global outreach of his so-called philanthropic work and created the Open Society Foundations, an organization that included a network of foundations. Open Society Foundation’s (OSF) professed object is “to work to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable and open to the participation of all people.” This object serves as the foundation for OSF’s often indiscreet activities in both closed and democratic societies that includes hefty funding of political NGOs.

Soros has been a prominent donor to the US Democratic Party along with sponsoring of the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. He even tried to block the Brexit by donating a large amount of money in support of the Anti- Brexit campaign.

Manipulator Of The Global Order

It was in September 1992, during the Black Wednesday crisis, when Soros earned the reputation of a ruthless and mythical trader. By waging that the pound was priced too high against the Deutschmark he made Britain suffer a loss of approximately 5.5 billion dollars forcing pound to exit from the European exchange rate mechanism. This earned him international acclaim and a nickname ‘ the man who broke the bank of England’.

In the year 1997-1998, just before the Asian financial crisis, the quantum fund sponsored much graver and controversial trades against a basket of Asian currencies, currencies of Thailand and Malaysia in particular. The consequence was a surge of currency devaluations and the stock market falls, first affecting Southeast Asia, and then impacting the rest of the region. Thailand, which had to be bailed out by the IMF to the tune of $16.7 billion, branded Soros as ‘economic war criminal’. Though Soros denied his involvement he came under severe criticism by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad who held him responsible for the financial turmoil.

The Open Society Foundation (OSF) is well known for funding highly biased political NGOs worldwide. For instance, the list of grantees of the OSF includes a number of Israeli NGOs that also includes some beneficiaries that deny the legitimacy of Israel.OSF has also funded Palestinian NGOs Al-Haq and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, both of which have ties with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine which has been designated as a terrorist organization by the US, EU, Canada, and Israel.

The OSF has been banned in Russia on the grounds of ‘threat to national security’. Soros birth country, Hungary, also passed legislation titled as ‘Stop Soros’ to put a halt on Soros notorious objective of filling the country with illegal migrants.

The Indian Nexus

Recently, speaking at the world economic forum, Soros has said he will commit $1 billion to start a global university to ‘fight nationalists’, whom he referred to as ‘authoritarian governments’. He accused the Indian Prime Minister of ‘creating a Hindu nationalist state’.

Soros debut as a businessman in India took a swing in the year 2013 via Aspada Investment Company which is primarily an Indian investment initiative that aims to build an investment platform for businesses aimed at providing better livelihood to the people.  Aspada is directly funded by Soros’s Economic Development Fund. Aspada has a Pan-India presence and has invested in a plethora of sectors including food(Scheduler Logistics,), agriculture (Waycool Food Products) and education (Shiksha Financial Services).

As regards his philanthropy work, Soros’s OSF grasped stronghold in India during the Obama regime. Ever since its entry in India, it has tried to interlope in the internal affairs of the nation through the vast and interconnected network of organisations funded by him. These organisations play a vital role in manipulating the original narrative and take the help of the judiciary and media to hinder the national interest.

The Human Rights Law Network has been a chief campaigner against the Indian sedition laws and has even been providing legal aid to the Rohingya Muslims. The French NGO, Sherpa, that filed the complaint against the Rafael deal is also funded by the OSF. Another such organisation facilitating the agenda of George Soros is Amnesty International which is also funded by the OSF. The organisation has recently told the US lawmakers that the Citizenship Amendment Act stands in violation of not just the Indian Constitution but also international human rights law. Amnesty India has been criticising the government for the removal of Article 370 from the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

George Soros is not just connected with the NGOs functioning in India but also has links with a cultivated class of intellectuals who have constantly criticised the current government. For instance, Amartya Sen, along with George Soros, is part of the advisory council of NGO Namati (funded by OSF) that works for ‘environmental justice’ in India. Amartya Sen is not just a regular speaker at the OSF but George Soros has made a documentary with Sen Titled, ‘Amartya Sen:

The Content of Democracy’. Sen was recently in the news when he claimed that chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ is not part of the Bengali culture. He has constantly been criticising the governmental policies and has been complaining about the rising ‘intolerance’ in India. Pratap Bhanu Mehta, the member of the board of directors of Namati, has extensively written newspaper articles against the CAA. It is pertinent to note that the NGO run by the famous Supreme Court senior advocate, Ms Indira Jaising, also receives money from the OSF. Harsh Mander is another such example, who is the chairman of the OSF’s human rights initiative board. He has been accused of publishing false reports in relation to the CAA that has incited violence in college campuses across the country. His NGO has openly supported religious conversions.

Concerns for India

George Soros is an elitist who pushes his propaganda by investing his money where he thinks he can meddle with the internal affairs of a country by creating a situation of turmoil and instability and head towards his ultimate goal of establishing a ‘new world order’ sans nationalism.

The OSF was placed under the ‘watch list’ by the government in the year 2016. It has recently, after the remark made by Soros against Narendra Modi at Davos, moved the Delhi High Court against the centre’s decision.

It is very natural for India to be concerned and alarmed as George Soros has openly declared a war against nationalism. Narendra Modi has risen to the present position by defeating such elements but the number of Indian organisations and people under the influence of the OSF is very high. Thus, there remains scope of such elements to create an environment of unrest and chaos in the nation.

Congress government in Madhya Pradesh gives extension to Anil Ambani’s Reliance power to pay dues over 4 years

While former Congress president Rahul Gandhi keeps alleging that Modi government had given undue benefits to industrialist Anil Ambani, the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh has decided to provide relief to Reliance Power’s Sasan Power Project by giving 4 additional years to the company to clear pending dues of ₹450 crores. The extension for the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company was approved by the cabinet committee for investment promotion (CCIP).

Since the company is owned by Anil Ambani, the issue has created controversy in the state. The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has accused the Congress-ruled government of undermining the “financial interests” of the state at a time when it is suffering from lack of funds as claimed by Kamal Nath.

BJP politician and leader of Opposition, Gopal Bhargava alleged that the extension was a reflection of a “pro-industrialist and capitalist regime.” He contended, “The present state government is committed more towards furthering interests of industrialists/capitalists and less towards promoting interests and welfare of poor and unemployed lot.”

In its defense, the ruling political dispensation argued that the said project met 17-18% of MP’s electricity demand. Narendra Saluja, the media convenor of the Chief Minister, stated “The Rs 27,000 crore project provides electricity to the state at Rs 1.53 per unit, if the project is allowed to close, then same electricity will have to procure from others at rates between Rs 4-Rs 5 per unit. The supply of electricity to the state from the Sasan Project has saved Rs 10,500 crores of state exchequer since 2013.”

The Congres party also claimed that the extension was provided as per the 2014 Investment promotion policy adopted by the former Shivraj Singh Chauhan-led-BJP government. PC Sharma, MP’s Public Relations Minister, confirmed, “Earlier, time of one year was given to the Reliance Power’s Sasan Power Project to pay the dues, which has been extended to four years now.

In the run-up of the 2019 Assembly elections, the former Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi had accused the BJP government of being hands-in-gloves with Anil Ambani in the Rafale deal. The entire election campaigns of Rahul Gandhi during the 2018 assembly elections and 2019 general elections were based on attacking the Modi government over false allegations of favouring Anil Ambani. The tale of lies and fabricated stories weaved by the Congress had prompted the businessman to file a ₹5000 crore defamation suit against the National Herald, the Congress mouthpiece. It, therefore, comes as a surprise how a Congress-ruled state gives relief to Anil Ambani who has been viciously demonised by their former party chief.

Arvind Kejriwal asks women to ‘discuss with men’ before casting vote in Delhi elections: Read details

Even as the assembly elections in Delhi are underway, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has made a sexist appeal, asking the women voters in Delhi to discuss with the male members of their families before casting their votes. Kejriwal took to Twitter to issue an appeal to the women voters in Delhi to have a discussion with their male family members before deciding upon the choice of their candidate.

“Special appeal to all women – Just as you take the responsibility of your homes, so is the responsibility of the country and Delhi on your shoulders. All you ladies must go to vote and also take the men of your house. Make sure to discuss with men who will be the right candidate to vote for,” Kejriwal tweeted.

Kejriwal’s sexist remark during Delhi elections about heeding their male counterparts’ counsel while voting drew ire from the opposition who slammed him for his controversial appeal. Union Minister Smriti Irani questioned Kejriwal on his intentions asking doesn’t he think women are capable of deciding on their own whom to vote.

Voting has been underway since 8 am for the 70-member Delhi Assembly, where the ruling AAP, BJP and Congress are involved in a three-cornered electoral battle.

AAP co-founder and former leader urges voters too ‘wash their sins of past 5 years’, calls Arvind Kejriwal ‘AIDS of politics’

AAP co-founder and former leader Kumar Vishwas on Saturday urged people to go out of their houses to cast their votes ahead of the Delhi assembly elections to wash off their sins. According to Vishwas, people of Delhi had committed a sin five years ago in 2015 by voting Aam Aadmi Party into power.

Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, poet-turned-politician Kumar Vishwas asked voters of Delhi to demolish evil intentions of Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, to whom Vishwas referred to as ‘Self-styled dwarf’ and ‘AIDS of politics’.

Kumar Vishwas also alleged that AAP killed society, country, hope, army, friendship and trust due to their politics and urged people to come out of their house to vote out Arvind Kejriwal-led party from Delhi.

Time for washing the sin of the last 5 years. It is time to demolish the evil intentions of the ‘self-styled dwarf’ and the ‘AIDS of politics’ who killed the society, country, hope, army, friendship and trust due to his politics. Get out of the houses, tell me that you can make it so that you can wipe out this Shishupal,” reads Kumar Vishwas tweet in English.

Kumar Vishwas also referred Arvind Kejriwal to mythological character Shishupal, who was killed by Lord Krishna for his sins. Shishupal was slain by Lord Krishna at the great coronation ceremony of Yudhishthira in punishment for the vile abuse made against him.

In Indian mythology and culture, Shishupal represents an arrogant character who kept on making mistakes despite knowing his end was near.

Vishwas started his political career as co-founder of Aam Aadmi Party, but differences emerged between him and AAP leadership, especially with party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal which probably compelled him to drift away from the party.

Vishwas on several occasions in the past has been extremely critical of the Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal. He had also called Kejriwal “a habitual liar” when he had appeared in the Arun Jaitley defamation case in Delhi High Court in May last year.

Watch: Congress candidate Alka Lamba slaps AAP worker at polling booth

Congress candidate and former AAP MLA Alka Lamba on Saturday slapped an AAP worker at a polling booth after he allegedly misbehaved and allegedly made some lewd comments on her son, according to reports.

According to the reports, the Congress candidate attacked the Aam Aadmi Party worker in front of the polling booth in Majnu Ka Tila on Saturday, police officers present at the scene intervened as she raised a complaint with the officials.

In the video, it can be heard that the alleged AAP worker asks Alka Lamba who is the father of the ’22-year-old’ boy. At this point, Alka Lamba mouths expletives and slaps him.

It is being said that the AAP worker had abused Lamba’s son and hence, Lamba had slapped the worker.

Meanwhile, following the incident, AAP leader Sanjay Singh has said the party will complain to Election Commission.

Congress candidate from the Chandni Chowk assembly constituency, Alka Lamba cast her vote at polling booth number 161 at Tagore Garden Extension. Alka Lamba is pitted against Prahlad Singh Sahni of Aam Aadmi Party and BJP’s Suman Gupta.

After chanting ‘Kagaz Nahi Dikhayenge’, Jamia Nagar and Shaheen Bagh queue up with voter IDs to vote in Delhi elections

The Jamia Nagar and Shaheen Bagh residents, who were excitingly shouting ‘Kagaz Nahi Dikhayenge’ (We will not show documents) during the anti-CAA protests to oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act ironically queued up outside the polling booths with their voter cards on Saturday to cast their vote in the Delhi assembly elections.

According to ANI, a large number of Jamia Nagar residents thronged outside polling booths in Delhi as polling for legislative assembly elections got underway. Muslim-dominated Jamia Nagar falls under the Okhla constituency.

The Muslim mobs which had hit the streets during the anti-CAA riots in December had earlier vowed to not co-operate with the government by submitting their documents in case if it was necessary for updating National Population Register (NPR).

Some people had even claimed they do not possess any valid documents to submit to government authorities while some had shouted slogans of ‘Hum Khagaz Nahi Dikhayenge’ to assert that they will flout rules by not submitting documents as a form of protest against the Union government.

However, it is ironical to see that the Jamia Nagar residents have queued up outside polling with their valid ids to cast their vote in the Delhi polls.

Interestingly, Aam Aadmi Party, which is being accused of instigating riots in Delhi ahead of the assembly elections, has fielded controversial AAP leader Amanatullah Khan from the Muslim-dominated Okhla constituency.

There have been serious allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP and senior leader Amanatullah Khan for instigating riots in Delhi by inciting Muslim mobs against the Modi government ahead of the Delhi assembly elections under the guise of protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, which has nothing to do with Indian Muslims.

Long queues have also been seen at Shaheen Bagh of people out to vote in Delhi elections, just about a kilometre away from the Islamist protests being held against CAA and NRC.

Shaheen Bagh has been the epicentre of anti-CAA and anti-NRC protests after the riots by Muslims mobs subsided. Several Islamists from Shaheen Bagh have also said that they don’t have documents and have alleged that they will not show their documents to the government.

On Friday – the eve of Delhi elections, the Muslim clerics from riot-hit Seelampur and Okhla had issued to diktats to Muslims to visit voting booths in large numbers to cast their votes. It seems that the residents of these areas are now strictly following diktats passed by the clerics.

In the run-up to the Delhi Assembly polls, Muslim-dominated areas of Seelampur saw unprecedented violence led by Muslim mobs to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Even Delhi’s Jamia Nagar, which comes under the Okhla constituency in East Delhi parliamentary segment, was one of the epicentres of the anti-CAA riots.

Drama begins: AAP’s Sanjay Singh whose own links to PFI emerged recently, accuses Minister Giriraj Singh of violating poll code

Just before Delhi was set to vote in 2020 elections on Saturday, on Friday AAP began its usual drama. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politician Sanjay Singh, whose own links with PFI emerged recently, accused Union Minister Giriraj Singh of distributing money in Budh Vihar Phase 1 in Rithala Vidhan Sabha. He alleged that 240 BJP MPs were creating problems in different constituencies. Singh had also urged the Election Commission to take action.

In another tweet, Sanjay Singh reiterated his previous claim and added that the Union Minister was caught red-handed by people, distributing cash in Rithala. The video allegedly showed Giriraj Singh sitting inside a jewellery shop surrounded by several people. While one can see Giriraj Singh in the video, there is no proof that he was distributing cash to voters as alleged by Sanjay Singh.

In a press conference, Sanjay Singh also said, “BJP violated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the entire campaigning period, by giving inflammatory statements.” He also urged the Election Commission to remove all BJP MPs who are not the residents of Delhi to be removed from the national capital. This has sparked a new controversy before the Delhi Assembly elections that are scheduled to take place on February 8.

The credibility of the Aam Aadmi Party has declined over the years, particularly after it was exposed that the gunman, Kapil Gujjar, who fired 3 shots in the air at Shaheen Bagh was an AAP member. Another man Mohammed Luqman found brandishing a gun at Shaheen Bagh also had alleged links to AAP. The police had also established a nexus between Sanjay Singh, radical Islamist organisation PFI and the Shaheen Bagh protests.

Read: As Kapil Gujjar turns out to be AAP leader, here is how Sanjay Singh, who felicitated the shooter, blamed Amit Shah for Shaheen Bagh shooting

According to the details produced by ED, a hefty sum of Rs 120.5 crores was credited in 73 bank accounts maintained by the Popular Front of India in 17 different banks. Out of these 73 accounts- 27 were directly maintained by PFI, 9 accounts were in the name of PFI’s related entity- Rehab India Foundation and the other 37 were in the name of certain individuals or entities in 17 different banks.

In the last 10 months, PFI received Rs 30 lakh as a donation in the form of cash, cheque, RTGS, NEFT, UPI, etc. Out of the large sum around 50 per cent was received in cash. Out of the cash donation, approximately 60-65 per cent was deposited in the bank and the rest was kept in PFIs national headquarters in Shaheen Bagh.

The ED documents say that the PFI President of Delhi, Mohammad Parvez Ahmed and it’s other members have actively participated in the anti-CAA protest in Shaheen Bagh.

Most importantly, it divulged that Md Parvez, the PFI chief was regularly in touch with Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh through Whatsapp chats, phone calls and also by way of direct meetings. Further, Parvez had also been in touch with many Congress leaders including Udit Raj.

The Enforcement Directorate documents also revealed that Parvez was a member of many Whatsapp groups such as ‘Bhim Army Top-100’, ‘Unification of Muslim Leadership’, etc.

Delhi elections: After Friday Namaz, clerics of Jamia and Seelampur, epicentre of anti-CAA riots, urge Muslims to vote in large numbers

On the eve of the Delhi assembly elections, the mosques in the riot-hit Seelampur and Okhla have urged Muslims to vote in large numbers on Saturday, reports Hindustan Times. These are the very areas where Muslim mobs had gone on a rampage and caused riots as a result of their opposition to CAA. It is also worthy to note that Congress and AAP leaders were booked for the anti-CAA riots in these areas by Muslim mobs.

During the weekly Friday namaz at the Idgah mosque in northeast Delhi’s Jafarabad, the Muslim clerics have been urging Muslim voters to go in large numbers and cast their votes during the Delhi elections, presumably, to defeat BJP.

Following an incident on Friday in which two gunmen allegedly fired four rounds near a shop in the area, the Imam has urged people to make sure that they vote, adding that residents in the locality which come under the riot-hit Seelampur constituency should not be deterred by such “gunfire incidents”.

Though no person was injured in the firing, the local Muslims have now decided to vote in large numbers for reasons that range from education to civic issues.

“We will not be scared. We will vote in large numbers because our children need a better education. We need a leader who can make that possible,” said 43-year-old Rabia Khan, a resident of New Seelampur locality, where Muslim mobs had gone on a rampage during the anti-CAA protests.

“We also expect that this election brings an end to sewer problems and we start getting cleaner water in our neighbourhood,” said Intekhab Khan, 60, a resident of Jafarabad in Seelampur constituency.

Residents across localities in Okhla also claimed that they too would vote in large numbers – some of them said that they would keep in mind a ‘national crisis’ in the light of the anti-CAA protests in Shaheen Bagh, others claimed that they would vote to register their protest against the Shaheen Bagh protest.

“People are anxious across the nation with citizenship law and related issues. It is important to vote and people understand that better today,” said 25-year-old Amreen, a corporate executive who lives in Abul Fazl Enclave, a locality in Okhla constituency.

Interestingly, Hindu voters have expressed that they would vote to clear out ‘protestors’ who have blocked roads and have caused huge inconvenience to citizens of the Delhi. Sahi Ram, 47, a resident of Madanpur Khadar in Okhla constituency, said, “These are strange times. A group of people have blocked an arterial road for nearly two months now. We need to vote for a leader who can assert that there is no place for such anarchy.”

Nusrat Shaheen, a resident of Shaheen Bagh, said this is an election for “basic needs” more than anything else. 32-year-old Zakiya Irfan pointed towards overflowing drains and broken roads in the locality, said “Who is supposed to fix this? The person who is voted to power. We will vote in large numbers,” said Irfan.

Delhi was the epicentre of the anti-CAA riots, which later spread to different parts of the country. The Muslim mob in Delhi’s Seelampur had unleashed the violence against public infrastructure and pelted stones at the police injuring many of them. The violent protestors had even attacked school buses in Delhi’s Seelampur area.

Shockingly, the announcements to gather the Muslim mob to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act was reportedly made on loudspeakers of the nearest mosques in Delhi’s Seelampur.

There have been serious allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP for instigating riots in Delhi by inciting Muslim mobs against the Modi government ahead of the Delhi assembly elections under the guise of protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, which has nothing to do with Indian Muslims.

Shockingly, Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal has given tickets to people who are associated with instigating riots in Delhi during the anti-CAA riots. AAP has fielded Abdul Rehman to contest from New Delhi’s Seelampur constituency in upcoming elections. Rehman along with ex-Congress MLA Mateen Ahmed have been named in an FIR by Delhi Police for ‘provoking the crowd’ to join the protests.

Further, Okhla AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan had openly stood with Jamia Nagar protestors which turned violent in December. Later, an FIR was also filed against him for instigating violence through social media.

In an inflammatory speech on December 15 at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, Khan had attacked the BJP government for enacting the Citizenship Amendment Act by claiming that it was discriminatory for Muslims of the country. Khan had also alleged that the silence of Muslims on the Triple Talaq Act was taken as their weakness by the central government.

The speech which was attended by thousands of impassioned people gathered to protest against the CAA was allegedly delivered just minutes before the violence broke out on the streets of Delhi. Later videos also emerged in which AAP leader Amanatullah Khan was seen standing alongside Shaheen Bagh mastermind Sharjeel Imam who is accused of pushing secessionist agenda.
