Police received a PCR call at 5:36 pm and found the victim dead with multiple stab injuries on the first floor. CCTV and forensic examination helped identify Azad and Rubina, while the motive remains unclear.
Police said Shamar Elkins carried out the attack as a domestic violence incident, killing children aged one to fourteen at a West 79th Street residence. Two women and a teenager were injured, and the crime scene spanned multiple locations.
