Congress ‘poster man’ Haseeb Ahmed in UP cries at a graveyard, prays buried ancestors to prove his citizenship

Haseeb Ahmed, a Congress leader in UP has stated that he does not have any documents but his family has been staying in India for generations. As reported by ANI, he has also been pleading to his deceased ancestors to provide proof of his citizenship.

Haseeb Ahmed has also stated that if he is sent to a detention camp, he wants the remains of his ancestors to be sent there too.

To prove his point, the Congress leader visited a graveyard on 21 January with where his ancestors are reportedly buried. Haseeb was then photographed crying near some graves. He has stated that he is praying to his ancestors to prove his citizenship as a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Haseeb Ahmed has a curious history with Congress party. Though he now claims not to have any documents, he has been a registered member of the party because, in 2018, he was reportedly suspended when his slogans of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ were not liked by Prayagraj District Congress leader Anil Tiwari. Ahmed, along with two other Congress workers Mukund Tiwari and Jitendra Tiwari were expelled after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the city. Ahmed was reported as the Youth Congress Pradesh Secretary.

Haseeb Ahmed has also been in the news earlier for his colourful and vibrant posters in support of Rahul and Priyanka.

Haseeb Ahmed’s poster

The poster that was not at all liked by the Congress high command.

One of his posters had depicted Congress leader Renuka Chaudhury as Draupadi and Rahul Gandhi was depicted as Lord Krishna saving her from being disrobed. Another poster read, “Maeeya ab rehti bimar, bhaiya par badh gaya bhar”(the mother is ill and the brother is stressed), asking for Priyanka Gandhi to become the candidate from Phoolpur.

Haseeb Ahmed and another Youth Congress leader named Shreesh Chandra Dubey had come up with a number of creative and colourful posters, allegedly irritating many senior Congress leaders with their creativity too.

It is not clear when the suspended Haseeb Ahmed was reinstated. It is also not clear how did a person who claims to have no documents to prove his citizenship managed to gain membership and official position at the Congress party in the first place.

It is also not clear why a so-called Congress leader would not read the CAA, which does not concern existing Indian citizens at all, and assume that his citizenship is under threat.

Anti-CAA Jamia riots: Delhi Police summons former Congress MLA Asif Mohd Khan, local leader Ashu Khan and AISA member

Delhi Police Crime Branch has issued a notice to former Congress MLA Asif Mohd Khan, under Section 160 of CrPC, asking him to appear before Crime Branch Chanakyapuri today for questioning in connection with the anti-CAA riots that broke out in Jamia and New Friends Colony in Delhi in December 2019.

A notice has also been issued to local political leader Ashu Khan asking him to appear before Crime Branch Chanakyapuri today for questioning in connection with Jamia Nagar riots that took place against CAA. AISA member Chandan Kumar has also been summoned.

In December, the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Delhi Police in connection with violent protests by Jamia Millia Islamia incident stated that 7 to 8 ‘students’ along with miscreants had pelted stones from inside the university gates. The Delhi Police in its FIR had stated that a total of 75 tear gas shells were used by police to disperse the mob which went on a rampage at the university during their protests against Citizenship Amendment Act.

In the FIR, six people including four local politicians and the former Congress MLA were named as suspects related to Jamia violence. The Delhi Police had named former Congress MLA Asif Khan as one of the accused in its FIR.

The other six accused persons were identified as local politicians Ashu Khan, Mustafa and Haider, Kasim Usmani – a member of the CYSS, the student wing of Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party, AISA member Chandan Kumar, SIO member  Asif Tanha, a member of the Students Islamic Organisation of India.

Earlier, Delhi police had arrested 10 people with criminal background in connection with the Jamia Nagar riots that took place in the national capital. The ten arrested people were identified as – Mohammad Hanif, Danish alias Jafar, Sameer Ahmed, Dilshad, Shareef Ahmed, Mohd Danish, Yunus Khan, Jumman, Anal Hassan, Anwar Kala.

In December, the protests against CAA and NRC had turned violent amidst chants of Allah-o-Akbar and Naara-e-Taqbeer. The “protestors” had burnt four DTC buses, 100 private vehicles and 10 police bikes and pelted stones, injuring several policemen. It is pertinent to note that Amanatullah Khan, the AAP lawmaker, was also spotted at the venue where the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act turned violent in Delhi’s Jamia Nagar.

Good news for anti-Modi industry and ‘liberals’ worldwide, 1 Billion USD help coming in to fight ‘Nationalism’: Read details

George Soros, the Hungarian-American billionaire said he will commit $1 billion to start a global university to “fight nationalists”, whom he referred to as “authoritarian governments” and climate change, calling them twin challenges that threaten the survival of our civilization. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Soros pledged to fund a university project to battle the erosion of civil society in a world increasingly ruled by “would-be and actual dictators” and climate change.

Launching an attack on global leaders, Soros expressed grief that the world’s strongest powers – the United States, China and Russia under President Vladimir Putin – were in the hands of would-be or actual dictators and stated that the ranks of authoritarian rulers continued to grow.

In some good news for the anti-Modi industry, who can now expect funds for their tirade, Soros also claimed that the “biggest and most frightening setback” was in India, as he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “creating a Hindu nationalist state.”

He said, “Nationalism, far from being reversed, made further headway. The biggest and most frightening setback occurred in India where a democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state, imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, a semi-autonomous Muslim region, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship”.

By making false claims, Soros said that the Indian government has imposed punitive measures on Kashmir, a “semi-autonomous Muslim region”, and peddled false information stating that government was threatening to “deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship”.

Perhaps, Soros was mentioning about the Citizenship Amendment Act, which the Modi government passed in the Parliament to provide citizenship to those persecuted minorities belonging to six non-Muslim religion from three neighbouring countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

However, Soros in hurry to foul mouth India did not comprehend facts on the new Citizenship law. There are no provisions in the entire legislation which either demands any Indian to prove their citizenship or submit their documents. Addition to this, the objective of the legislation is to grant citizenship to persecuted people and not to take away the citizenship of any particular group of Indian citizens, especially Muslims. And if Soros was talking about NRC, the rules of NRC have not been notified yet and there is no reason to fear-monger as Soros did.

Interestingly, The nationalist government of Hungary that strongly opposes the influx of refugees into the European Union has been at war with George Soros for quite a while. Last year, the Hungarian government made it mandatory for NGOs that received funding from abroad to register with the state, a move that was seen to be targeted towards Soros which did not go down well with the European Union. The Hungarian also passed legislation titled ‘Stop Soros’ in a crackdown on illegal immigration. In December 2015, Russia banned two foundations funded by the progressive Jewish-American philanthropist George Soros, claiming they posed a “threat to national security” and were undermining the Russian constitution. It is thus, a known fact that Soros has interfered in the internal affairs of various countries across the world through his NGOs to achieve his political objectives.

It is also pertinent to note that while George Soros claims to “fight authoritarian regimes”, he met terror-state Pakistan PM Imran Khan after the Howdy Modi event in Houston.

Further, targetting the US President in Davos, he said that Trump was a “conman and the ultimate narcissist” but said the current surge in economic strength for the US may have come too soon for the US leader as he faces re-election later this year.

Soros also claimed that humanity was at a turning point and the future would determine the fate of rulers like President Donald Trump and China’s Xi Jinping as well as the world itself.

“Taking into account the climate emergency and worldwide unrest, it’s not an exaggeration to say that 2020 and the next few years will determine not only the fate of Xi and Trump but also the fate of the world,” Soros said in his address.

Expressing particular alarm over China, Soros said President Xi Jinping had broken with Communist Party tradition by concentrating power around himself, with the Chinese economy losing its previous flexibility.

While Xi Jinping “became a dictator as soon as he gained sufficient strength” his “success is far from assured” as demographics caused by the one-child policy work against China.

Soros added that most troublingly, Xi was seeking to bring into existence “a new type of authoritarian system and a new type of human being who is willing to surrender his personal autonomy in order to stay out of trouble.” “Once lost, personal autonomy will be difficult to recover. An open society would have no place in such a world.”

The Open Society University Network, an international grantmaking network founded by businessman Soros, will offer an international platform for teaching and research. The university will be launched through a partnership of the Soros-backed Central European University and Bard College, said the 89-year-old said Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

“As a long-term strategy our best hope lies in access to quality education, specifically an education that reinforces the autonomy of the individual by cultivating critical thinking and emphasizing academic freedom,” Soros said.

He described the plan of the Open Society University Network (OSUN) as “the most important project of my life” and would be an international platform for teaching and research that existing universities all over the world would be able to join.

Soros claimed that the university would seek to reach out to “places in need of high-quality education and in serving neglected populations” such as refugees, prisoners, the Roma and other displaced peoples like the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar.

“To demonstrate our commitment to OSUN, we are contributing one billion dollars to it,” said Soros in his traditional annual Davos address. He also said that he was looking for “far-sighted partners” who “feel responsible for the future of our civilisation”.

West Bengal: Clashes broke out after land donated for building temple used by state govt to open Madarsa education office

0

Lakshmipur village falling under Gobardanga police station limits in West Bengal’s North 24 Paraganas was gripped in violent clashes, between the local villagers and the state police, on January 20, after a plot of land donated for building a temple/school/hospital was illegally occupied for opening a Madarsa department office.

The locals deeply aggrieved at this betrayal by TMC led state government, started protesting.

After learning of the incident, Gobardanga police reached the village and in a bid to control and disperse the villagers, resorted to lathi-charge, tear gas and eventually opened fire, which led to clashes between the villagers and the police.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-himow1qMQU]

RAF was deployed to control the situation. A strong police picket has been posted in the area to avoid further clashes.

The Minority Affairs and Madarsa Education Office opened on land donated for temple or school

In what transpired, a local widow Nirmala Das, who is no more now, had donated three bighas of land to the panchayat for building a temple, hospital or school during the CPI(M) regime 22 years ago. The local TMC took control of the area two years ago and started constructing a building and told the villagers that a community hall was being built at the site.

The locals became angry when they saw a Madarsa education department board hanging on the building instead of a hospital or temple. The board said the name of the building was ‘karmateertha’, and it is the officer of the minority affairs and madarsa education department of the West Bengal government. Seeing the board, they started ransacking the building. The police from Gobardanga rushed to the spot and a clash broke out between the villagers and the police.

Condemning the deceitful act by local TMC goons, the President of a Hindu organization, Singha Bahini, Devdutta Maji said, Muslim appeasement is nothing new in West Bengal, but Mamata Banerjee’s shameless Muslim appeasement has crossed all limits. Politicians must understand that Hindus are no more naive. We Hindus will reply aptly to any insult on our Dharma.

Local BJP leader Satyajit Mullick said that the appeasement politics of a particular community by the ruling TMC is exposed now. “The people of Bengal will give fitting reply in EVM in coming elections.”

Meanwhile, TMC North 24 Parganas district President Jyotipriya Mullick, refusing to take responsibility said that BJP and CPIM were involved in the attack.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been unabashed about her appeasement politics. Last year in June, the Cooch Behar district magistrate office (minority section) under Mamata Government had issued circular directing state-run schools to construct a dining room for mid-day meals in all government or government-aided schools with 70 per cent or more minority students.

Mamata Banerjee has received a lot of flak for her appeasement politics. Right after the general elections results were announced, Mamata had defended her politics by saying that ‘if a cow gives one milk, one has to be prepared for its kicks also’. She had said, “I like Muslims, no? I will go there a hundred times. ‘Je goru dudh dei tar lathio khete hoi; (if a cow gives milk, one has to be prepared for its kicks also),” she said, meaning, she would continue Muslim appeasement if it continues to benefit her.

Actor Javed Jaaferi spreads fake news by Pakistani website claiming India has become the most dangerous place to live

Today Bollywood actor Javed Jaaferi posted a tweet today making a shocking comment that India has become the most dangerous place to live in. Jeffery had said that this has found in a survey, and he had quoted a report by an obscure Pakistani website to make the claim. But a cursory glance at the report and the sources that it relied on to make the claim shows that it is completely incorrect, and no survey has found that India has become the most dangerous country.

The report by the Pakistani website News Box was based on a tweet by The Spectator Index, a handle that regularly posts various statistical figures related to various topics. Interestingly, the tweet didn’t put India in the first place in the list of most dangerous places to live in 2019, rather it was in fifth place. Brazil was listed at the first place in the tweet by Spectator Index.

But the Pakistani website used clever way make India the most dangerous place, as they mentioned in the body of the report that India is ranked top among the Asian countries, but overall it is ranked fifth. But their headline said “India becomes the most dangerous country to live in: Survey”, a completely misleading claim.

The Spectator Index had mentioned in their tweet that the ranking is done by InterNations. After their tweet was posted on Twitter, InterNations replied to them to clarify that the tweet is completely wrong, and they have not created a list of “most dangerous places”. They informed that they have a Safety and Security subcategory in their survey, where the respondents rated countries based on three factors, peacefulness, personal safety & political stability.

The InterNations report is titled Expat Insider 2019, and based on a survey among expats about their perception of foreign nations. The ranking is not based on real crime and other law and order statistics which determine how dangerous a place is, but it is based on the opinion of foreigners about India. More than 20,000 respondents had participated in their survey, and based on that InterNations had ranked 64 nations in various categories, including safety and politics, where India was ranked at 60th place.

The online survey had ranked the countries in five indices, Quality of Life, Ease of Settling In, Working Abroad, Family Life, and Personal Finance. In the overall list of top expat destinations among 64 countries, India was ranked at 59th place in the survey. In 2018 India’s rank was 66 among 68 countries, so actually India has made some improvement in the ranking. It is important to mention that Pakistan was not ranked in the survey, as the country didn’t qualify to be included in a survey on expat destinations.

Therefore, the claim that India is ranked as the most dangerous place to live is completely false as no such survey was done. Similarly, the Spectator Index tweet claiming India was ranked as 5th most dangerous country is also false for the same reason. India was ranked 5th worst in the Safety and Security subcategory in an expat destinations survey, and it is not a survey on how dangerous a place is for living.

Former journalist declares views of owner of Healthzone ‘Islamophobia’, asks Muslims to boycott chain of gyms and beauty parlours

With the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act, the faultlines within Indian society are becoming ever more prominent. The anti-Hindu bigotry of the anti-CAA protesters has been evident ever since the protests began. When the pressure tactics failed and Amit Shah made it clear that the government will not back down in the face of protests, radical elements from a particular community have begun targeted attacks against ordinary Hindus who are supporting the government over the matter.

First, a doctor in Kerala was forced to resign from the hospital he worked at for his support towards the CAA and seeking the deportation of illegal immigrants from the country. Then, Madhur Singh, popularly known as ThePlacardGuy, was threatened with a Kamlesh Tiwari-like fate for criticizing Islamic fundamentalists.

Now, a Lucknow-based businessman is being attacked by Islamic fundamentalists for his support towards the CAA. Irene Akbar, a former journalist at The Indian Express, is leading the charge against Sachin Sahni.

In her tweet, Irene Akbar called on Muslims and ‘Secular non-Muslims’ to boycott the chain of gyms and beauty parlours owned by Sachin Sahni.

Irene Akbar posted screenshots of the allegedly ‘offensive’ posts on Twitter. In one of the posts that she found offensive, Sahni says that the country was divided along religious lines in 1947 and that Muslims partitioned the country to carve out an Islamic state for themselves.

He says in the same post that he considers his Muslim friends who oppose the CAA to be anti-Hindu, Sikh and Buddhists as the CAA only seeks to provide citizenship to the persecuted minorities from the three neighbouring Islamic States.

Sachin Sahni’s pro-CAA Facebook post

One of the posts Irene Akbar found offensive was one video by a Pakistan Muslims which Sahni had shared on his own profile with the caption, “A sensible Muslim’s advice to those Indian Muslims who are burning the country because of CAB”.

An offensive post as per Irene Akbar

Another ‘offensive’ post said, “It’s as if it’s not the CAA but a snake-charmer”. In another ‘offensive’ post, Sahni shared footage of the train that was burnt in West Bengal by Muslim anti-CAA protesters with the caption “Shameful Peacefulls”.

Another offensive post as per Irene Akbar

And the last screenshot was that of a post which was shared by Sahni that said: “lovers of Rohingya Muslims must keep at least two of them in their own houses” along with a Kashmiri terrorist.

Irene Akbar believes the Facebook post was Islamophobic

Irene Akbar informs that Sahni’s Muslim customers have begun boycotting the services provided by Healthzone that include gyms and beauty parlours. She has also urged Muslims to boycott the Keeros brand of health snacks sold on Amazon and in malls in Delhi as it is owned by Sachin Sahni. She said that Healthzone has “earned crores from Muslims who form a large (maybe 50%) chunk of their clients. My bhabhi paid advance money for their service.” Claiming that Sahni “spews venom against Muslims”, she urged Muslims to boycott.

“We are from that community which can destroy any country if we feel like”: Former AMU student union president Faizul Hasan during anti-CAA speech

The Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh had emerged as one of the epi-centres of the anti-CAA agitations being perpetrated in the name of ‘peaceful protest’. While the ‘students’ have continued to use violent means to protest, several associated with the university have been trying to fear-monger by spreading falsehood about the law. The former student union president of AMU, Faizul Hasan while delivering a speech against the amended Citizenship Act and NRC on January 21, was heard provoking the crowd and also making several offensive remarks against HM Amit Shah.

Trying to instigate the listeners, Hasan said: “If you want to see patience then look at the Muslims of India. From the year 1947 until now, the Muslims in India have shown a lot of patience”, claimed Hasan, who furthered that if people of his community are angered or provoked they will destroy India.

“We never want Hindustan to be broken, otherwise nobody can stop us from doing so. We are from that community if we come to ruin we will not leave any country. We are so angry, but we don’t want to break the country. To save this country, we have fought, given up our lives, so we will always try to save the country. Amit Shah should not do this. On one hand, he is cutting our throats and on the other, he is also threatening us’, claimed Hasan.

Read- Lies, deception and misinformation of anti-CAA protests: How University campuses have wrongly become a battleground

Throwing an open challenge at HM Amit Shah to debate on CAA and NRC, Hasan furthered: “Let Amit Shah argue with our class 12 students. I am sure he will lose to them. Even if he manages to give me five valid points, I will stand with him in support of CAA. However, we have at least 50 points against the CAA-NRC. Tomorrow when BJP is ousted from power, he (Amit Shah) will be the first to be expelled from the party’, said the former student union president.

This is not the first time student’s of the varsity have resorted to such outrageous behaviour. On January 17, Aligarh Muslim University student’s had abused the proctor when he was trying to negotiate with them and convince them to refrain from agitating. A student, in a video shared by India Today journalist Padmaja Joshi, could be heard calling the proctor a “dalla” (pimp) while another was seen showing a shoe to him.

On December 22 last year, the students of controversial Aligarh Muslim University, in a bizarre move had expelled their Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar of the university. The students had asked them to vacate their official residences by January 5, 2020. The students had also closed down all activity in the university until the VC and the Registrar resigned.

Prior to this, the students and Muslim mob associated with the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) had unleashed violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. The ‘students’ of AMU had clashed with UP Police on December 15.

Delhi Elections: Amit Shah slams Arvind Kejriwal over failed promises, targets Sisodia for announcing support for Shaheen Bagh protesters

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally at Matiala in Delhi on Thursday ahead of the assembly elections. Amidst slogans of ‘Amit Shah ji aagey badho, Hum tumhare saath hai’, he took to the podium to address the gathering. He was introduced as the Sardar Patel of this era, a comparison he has earned through the integration of Jammu & Kashmir and the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act.

During his speech, Amit Shah targeted Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for his support to the anti-CAA protesters at Shaheen Bagh. He accused CM Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi of provoking the youth and the minority community into rioting and slammed Sisodia for shamelessly standing by the protesters still.

Hitting out at Kejriwal, the Home Minister slammed him for failing to deliver on the promises he made to the people of Delhi. Addressing Kejriwal, he said, “You said that you will build a thousand schools. Tell us how many schools you have built. You had said you will install 15 lakh CCTV cameras, and you are fooling the public by installing some twenty or thirty thousand.”

Shah continued, “Kejriwal ji had said he will bring 5,000 DTC buses, only 300 buses were brought. He had said he will give jobs to 8 lakh people. Let alone that, he did not provide permanent jobs to those employed on a temporary basis.” He added, “You had spoken of cleaning the Yamuna. Leave that, even the water being provided to houses is dirty now.” Amit Shah also said that not only had Kejriwal not built the flyover he claimed he would construct, he is putting obstacles in the construction of those Narendra Modi is trying to build.

Read- 1 school approved vs 500 promised, fall in DTC buses, 0 new hospitals, fake surveys: RTI replies reveal Kejriwal hasn’t fulfilled major election promises

The Home Minister also targeted the Delhi Chief Minister for not implementing central government schemes such as Ayushman Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the national capital. Shah mocked Kejriwal for complaining continuously that Narendra Modi was not letting him work. He said, “For four and a half years after coming to power, Kejriwal used to say that Modi ji did not let me do anything, so Delhi did not develop. Now he says he has developed Delhi in five years.”

He also noted that Arvind Kejriwal has not won any election after winning the last assembly elections. First, he lost in Varanasi, then lost in Haryana, Punjab, MCD, after that lost all the seats in Loksabha in Delhi. After electing him in one election, voters in Delhi got him defeated in all other elections, the former BJP president said.

The CAA found mention in the speech. He again asked if the persecuted minorities of the Islamic states of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh could not come here, where should they go? Heaping praises on the Prime Minister, Amit Shah said, “Narendra Modi has worked to take the country forward on the path of progress. Narendra Modi has worked to increase the respect of the country in the world. Modi ji has worked to kill the enemies of the country in their own soil.”

Pakistani protestors plan to burn Indian Constitution on Republic Day in London, India writes to UK raising concerns

0

The terror state of Pakistan, which is being isolated across the globe, has once again planned to resort to thuggery and vandalism on the streets of London. India has written to the UK authorities raising concerns over a group of Pakistani protestor’s plan to burn the Indian Constitution outside the Indian embassy in London on January 26.

The Twitter handle of the High Commission of India in London said in a Tweet: “High Commissioner called on Home Secretary Priti Patel & discussed issues of mutual interest to take forward India-UK ties. She conveyed security and safety concerns flowing from planned protests including on Republic Day at India House.”

Several members of the Indian diaspora have also been writing to various UK authorities to ban the protest. President of Overseas Friends of BJP, Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat said, “We are writing letters to Mayor of London, Met Police commissioner and Home Secretary. We are also starting a community response document to be submitted to the PM.”

Up to 5000 Pakistani protestors are expected to participate in the so-called “Rise for Kashmir” protest outside the Indian high commission building in London on January 26, India’s Republic Day.

Fahim Kayani, President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, one of the organisations involved in planning the protest said, “Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and all like-minded organisations who are seeking peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute are part of the protest.” Some pro-Khalistan fringe groups are also joining hands with these outfits in the protest.

Read- London: Pakistani immigrants, Khalistani goons resort to stone pelting on Indian diaspora at Indian High Commission in London, four arrested

Notably, last year too, the pro-Khalistani outfit, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), had attempted to incite Sikhs and foil the Indian flag hoisting on Republic day.

Fahim Kayani said: “There is no question of hurting any sentiments by burning the flag or Constitution. We hope common Indians will come out in support of seeking a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions. We strongly protest against the fascist policies of the government. We want to hold the perpetrators accountable for mass killings, gang rapes, false flag operations, orchestrating social chaos and wrecking economic havoc in Kashmir.”

Reportedly, messages are being widely circulated using various social media platforms inviting “like-minded” people to join and burn the Indian Constitution.

It is notable here that the Indian High Commission has been attacked multiple times since August last year by pro-Pakistan groups masquerading as Kashmir sympathisers and marching against India’s decision to abrogate Article 370.

Last year during India’s Independence Day thousands of Pakistani immigrants in London resorted to violence to mark their protest against abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, stone-pelting, a personal favourite method of the jihadis in Kashmir.

The incident then too, took place outside the Indian High Commission in London, in which thousands of Pakistanis stormed to carry out violent protests. Protesters carrying Khalistani and Kashmiri flags tried to push forward across police lines and threw stones and other objects at Indians who were present on the occasion of Independence day.

Hundreds of Pakistani thugs and hooligans were present among the protesters at the so-called anti-India protest deliberately which coincided with Independence Day. They held anti-India placards and abused Indians present at the Indian High Commission. Indian families with small children were trapped for hours as the protestors held them as hostages.

The Pakistani groups had also planned a similar anti-India protest on the occasion of Diwali last year.

It is notable here that Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party in the UK had faced severe criticism from the Indian government and the Indian diaspora in the UK, last year, for unanimously passing a ‘Kashmir resolution’ parroting Pakistan’s lines over the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian MEA and the High Commission had condemned the resolution and had stated that the Labour party is only pandering vote bank interests by taking a pro-Pakistan stand to woo the British-Pakistani voters.

Kerala: Hindu residents of a colony denied drinking water for supporting CAA in Malappuram, FIR against BJP MP after she flagged the issue on Twitter

The Hindu residents of a colony at Kuttipuram in Malappuram district of Kerala were reportedly denied drinking water and had to face a boycott allegedly by Muslim groups for supporting the government on the historic Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), reports Jamaa TV.

Reportedly, a person living near the colony used to supply drinking water for the Hindu dominated colony. However, after protests against CAA got heated up the Hindus of the colony were denied water.

The alleged incident further strengthens the claims that the anti-CAA protests have turned communal especially in societies where Muslims are in the majority.

An NGO named Seva Bharati stepped in to provide drinking water to the households of the colony after they heard about the injustice done to the residents. Following the boycott of Hindus by Muslims, there is widespread anger for blocking the primary source of life for these residents.

It is pertinent to note that Malappuram in Kerala has one of the highest concentration of Muslim population and according to Census data nearly 70% of residents of the district are Muslims.

Shobha Karandlaje, the BJP MP from Karnataka flagged the issue on social media stating that Hindus of Kuttipuram Panchayat of Malappuram was denied water supply as they supported the Citizenship Amendment Act. The BJP MP also expressed her fear regarding communist Kerala taking baby steps to become another Kashmir.

Now, an FIR has been lodged against BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje for flagging the issue on Twitter.

The Kerala police have registered a case against the BJP MP under section 153 (A) of IPC which pertains to promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race etc.

The anti-CAA protests are increasingly turning communal lately which is evident across the country. As Muslim mobs failed to put pressure on Modi government despite unleashing violence on streets across the country, there are resorting to furthermore anti-Hindu and anti-India propaganda during the protests opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act.

It was further evident in Shaheen Bagh when few women belonging to Muslim community sat on a protest at Shaheen Bagh and blocked bus stop and a highway causing severe problems to the public of Delhi.

Shockingly, Shaheen Bagh protests which were actually passed as an organic protest in a bid to ‘save the constitution have turned blatantly communal. It was earlier reported how protestors chanted slogans of “Jinnah Wali Azadi”, exposing the claims of “liberal-secular” media, who had earlier passed of these protests as peaceful.

Later, another Hinduphobic poster came up at the protest site in which the Hindu Swastika was depicted wrongfully and shown crushed by Hindu women in Burkha.

In one similar protest in the Muslim-dominated city of Malerkotla, people have come together to express solidarity with Shaheen Bagh ‘protestors’ and have been sitting on a ‘Dharna’ against the CAA for the past two weeks near Sirhindi Gate. According to Census 2011 data, Muslims form nearly 69% of the city’s population.
