In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, the Maharashtra government has released a new circular on Friday making mandatory for all passengers arriving in Mumbai to undergo a 14-day quarantine.
On Friday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a notification for handling the domestic passengers, which states that passengers arriving in Mumbai will have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine in light of the coronavirus epidemic that has gripped the city.
“A 14 day home isolation for all domestic passengers arriving in Mumbai is a compulsory precaution against #coronavirus. Government officials desiring an exemption must write to [email protected] two working days prior to arrival, with work details #AtMumbaisService,” BMC tweeted on Thursday.

The BMC, meanwhile, has asked visiting government officials to seek prior approval from them before visiting the state. The BMC has notified that the government officials desiring an exemption should write two working days prior to their arrival.
The notification comes amidst the ongoing feud between the Bihar and Mumbai police departments after the BMC had forcefully quarantined IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from Bihar who was in Mumbai to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The IPS officer was made to quarantine and self-isolate for six days.
With Mumbai quarantine rules, CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case might get difficult
Following the incident, the Bihar police had gone to the Supreme Court seeking the release of the Bihar officer. On Friday, two days after the Supreme Court had rapped the Maharashtra government over confining the Bihar police officer Vinay Tiwari, the Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday released the IPS officer from quarantine and asked him to return to Patna on August 8.
Interestingly, the BMC order has also been released just a day after CBI took over the investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and registered the Patna police FIR related to the criminal conspiracy and abetment to suicide against his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. The CBI is scheduled to visit Maharashtra to probe the death case in coming days.
With now new circular in place, it might be difficult for the CBI officials to investigate the death case of the 34-year-old actor in a free and fair manner, if they fail to get an exemption for the 14-day quarantine rule from the BMC.
Mohammed Zubair, the Islamist propagandist associated with so-called fact-checking site AltNews, reached a new low today when he targeted a minor girl in his Twitter fight with a social media user. Zubair referred to the image of the minor granddaughter of a Twitter user named Jagdish Singh going by the account JSINGH2252 in an attempt to shame him publicly.
We had reported earlier, that just because the Twitter user had countered the co-founder of AltNews, Zubair, he had resorted to sharing an image with of the Twitter user with his granddaughter in an attempt to intimidate him.
Earlier, Zubair had shared a picture with the child’s face blurred, however, shockingly and rather brazenly, he has now even shared an image of the child without blurring her face. While in the original tweet, Zubair had not blurred the picture of the little girl, OpIndia has blurred the image for the purpose of this report so her life is not endangered.
Tweet by Zubair
After Zubair, the co-founder of alleged fact-checking website AltNews doxxed the little girl, Islamists started issuing rape threats to the minor.
There threats were pointed out by several horrified netizens who were demanding action against Zubair.
After being called out by several people on Twitter and the little girl getting threats due to his tweet, one would have expected Zubair to delete the tweet and apologise for his transgression. However, Zubair decided to brazen it out.
When another Twitter user tagged National Commission Women to raise an alarm about the predatory behaviour by Zubair, the co-founder of AltNews brazened it out justifying his blatant doxxing that is clearly endangering the life of a minor.
Gaali bhi tum do aur call out karne par Victim card bhi tum he khelo? Sahi hai. ?? https://t.co/pAngHEKkAx
He essentially said that since the Twitter account used a couple of words that he took offence to, it was ok for him to out the identity of a minor child just to intimidate her supposed grandfather.
How AltNews acts as an Islamist ally
Propaganda website AltNews has been largely peddled as an authentic source of fact-checks by the entire Left cabal. Their articles are peddled by any anti-government, anti-Hindu riffraff that the ecosystem has to offer and they often claim that their method is rather elaborate and authentic. With patrons like Arundhati Roy, who regularly speaks in a language that can only be called one that resonates with Naxals and every element that wishes to tear India apart, AltNews has gained a reputation amongst right-thinking individuals as a mouthpiece of Islamists. The so-called fact-checking website regularly furthers fake news, obfuscates the truth, concocts details to shield Islamists and sometimes, even creates fake news simply to fact check it later.
In their quest to exonerate perpetrators from the Muslim community, AltNews has employed several methods over the years. Their methods have now almost become predictable and standardised. While subtly peddling Islamic propaganda, AltNews keeps up the veneer of fact-checking to make their propaganda far more palatable to their already gullible readers, and that, they have the help of the entire ecosystem for their nefarious plans certainly helps move things along.
They often use some standardised methods to act as the allies of Islamists – they peddle downright lies, deliberately mislead, whitewash deplorable crimes, collaborate with global Islamists and Left-wing elements and finally, dox individuals who don’t conform to their worldview. In this incident too, Zubair, the co-founder of AltNews seems to have used exactly the same method to silence a critic.
AltNews, although it calls itself a ‘fact-checking website’, is, in reality, an Islamic propagandist portal. Apart from the examples used to demonstrate the techniques used to defend Islamists, there have been numerous other occasions when they have whitewashed the crimes of Islamists or false accused Hindus of guilt. They tried to whitewash the crime of Zahid and Aslam who murdered a three-year-old in Aligarh last year. They spread misinformation about the Hindu Swastika. They were even caught shielding the Islamists who committed the brutal terror attack in Sri Lanka. Really, it would be difficult to find an Islamist crime which AltNews hasn’t played its propaganda over.
The Congress party’s renewed ‘Soft-Hindutva’ push seems to have gone awry as it has desperately trying to monkey balance. Realising that their pro-Hindu narrative has no takers, the Congress party is all set to return to its age-old policy of minority appeasement, which was reflected on Thursday after its youth wing deleted earlier tweets that celebrated Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.
On Wednesday, Delhi Youth Congress posted a tweet claiming that it was former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who had ‘opened the doors of Ram Mandir’. The youth wing went on to claim that he was also the first person to lay the foundation stone at the historic site in Ayodhya.
Claiming credit for initiating the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, the Congress party’s youth wing attempted to take a dig at Prime Minister Modi by saying, “It does not matter who cuts the ribbon as it was Rajiv Gandhi who unlocked the gates of Ram Mandir.”
The Congress party was essentially citing the decision of the then Rajiv Gandhi government to open the doors of Ramjanmbhoomi in 1985.

Similar to Delhi Youth Congress, the Daman and Diu Congress Sevadaltoo had posted a similar tweet stating that it did not matter who inaugurated the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya as it was Rajiv Gandhi who opened the doors of the Ram Mandir in 1985. The Congress Sevadal also went on to refer Rajiv Gandhi as a ‘Hindu Lion’.

The excitement of the Congress party to steal credit for the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, however, did not last long. Probably fearing backlash from their core voters over endorsement to the Ram Mandir event on Wednesday, both the Delhi Youth Congress and Daman and Diu Congress Sevadal resorted to deleting the tweet that credited Rajiv Gandhi for the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
Many Muslim clerics and organisations have been openly condemning the Bhoomi Pujan, accusing the BJP government of being communal. Some Muslim political leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi have also accused the Congress of cheating the Muslims and doing cheap politics for Hindu votes.
MP Congress’ Kamal Nath has also been condemned by a Muslim organisation for his activities in the last few days where he was seen chanting Hanuman Chalisa and doing Puja of Lord Ram.
Chief Justice of India Ashok Bobde appeared bewildered when he was made aware of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Congress party and the Chinese Communist Party in 2008. The deal, which gained a lot of attention in the public eye after the clash between the Indian Army and the PLA at Galwan Valley in Ladakh, has been criticised by politicians and individuals across the board.
CJI Bobde said, “There is something like unheard of legally in this plea. How can a political party enter into an agreement with China?” He added, “We have not heard a political party of one country entering into an agreement with political party of another country.”
CJI: we will allow you to withdraw and file a fresh one. Make correct averments otherwise we will prosecute you. We have not heard a political party of one country entering into an agreement with political party of another country
The CJI-led bench permitted the petitioners to withdraw the plea and approach the appropriate High Court regarding the same. The plea was filed against the Indian National Congress, its President Sonia Gandhi and former President Rahul Gandhi seeking details of the MoU that was signed between the Congress and the CCP in 2008. It also demanded a CBI or an NIA probe into the matter.
“Petitioners firmly believe that the Nation’s security cannot and shouldn’t be compromised by anyone. Therefore, this Writ Petition has been moved under Article 32 of the Constitution of Bharat, which seeks to bring transparency and clarity regarding the agreement signed between the Respondent No. 1 and the Communist Party of China (herein CPC) which is also the de-facto government of People’s Republic of China (Herein China),” the plea, filed on behalf of advocate Shankar Shekhar Jha and Editor-in-Chief of GoaChronicles Savio Rodrigues, said.
The MoU between Congress and CCP
During UPA1 in 2008, the Congress party and the Communist Party of China (CPC) had signed a deal in Beijing for exchanging high-level information and co-operation between them. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) also provided the two parties with the “opportunity to consult each other on important bilateral, regional and international developments”.
Interestingly, the MoU was signed by the then Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi and on the Chinese side, it was signed by none other than Xi Jinping himself, who was then the Chinese vice-president and standing committee member of the CPC’s politburo. The MoU was signed in the presence of his mother and party president Sonia Gandhi.
Before the signing of the MoU, the then Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi had held a long meeting with Xi and other senior leaders of the Communist Party of China to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Later, it also became public knowledge that China had donated Rs 1 crore over three years to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation which had top Congress functionaries in its Board including Sonia Gandhi, Raul Gandhi and others.
The Enforcement Directorate has raided 14 different locations across Delhi, Gurugram and Surat in connection with the Pilatus Aircraft Scam accused Sanjay Bhandari. The absconding arms dealer is believed to be a close aide of Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra and is currently suspected to be residing in London, United Kingdom.
#Breaking | Big development in the Pilatus Aircraft scam: ED (@dir_ed) conducts raids in 14 different locations (Delhi, Gurugram & Surat) linked to Robert Vadra’s aide Sanjay Bhandari.
A charge sheet had been filed against Sanjay Bhandari on the 2nd of June, clearing the way for his extradition from London. He is under the scanner of the CBI as well for allegedly purchasing Benami properties for Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
The Pilatus Aircraft Scam
The Central Bureau of Investigation had registered an FIR in 2019 against notorious arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari, unknown officials in the Indian Air Force and Swiss aircraft maker Pilatus over alleged irregularities and corruption to the tunes of 339 crores. The kickback amount was allegedly given during the procurement of 75 basic trainer aircraft for the IAF in 2009.
CBI’s inquiry had found that in 2009, Sanjay Bhandari’s company had received the kickback amount through his Singapore based bank account. From there the money was laundered to Bhandari’s company in Dubai and then, it was allegedly used to purchase properties in London. It is notable here that the Enforcement Directorate has already stated in open court that Sanjay Bhandari was acting on behalf of Robert Vadra for the purchase of properties in London.
The probe began in July 2017 after the government had ordered a probe into the Pilatus deal. While the ED is only looking at the money laundering and financial irregularities of the deal, CBI is investigating the larger aspects of corruption which also involves senior government officials and IAF personnel.
Zubair had replied to the tweet of IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra who had posted a video showing vehicles jumping wildly over a large pothole on a road. He had posted a ‘fact-check’ article by Alt News, where it was said that it is an old video from China. Mr Kabra had not claimed that video is recent, or that it is from a particular city. He had just asked to guess the city. But Zubair assumed that he is claiming it to be from India, and posted the fact-check saying it is from China.
The Twitter user Jagdish Singh was not happy with such needless fact-checking used a colloquial term in response to Zubair, which is often used by netizens to express how AltNews is hardly a fact-checking website. Responding to Zubair, Jagdish said “l*vde ka fact-checker’, which essentially is used by several detractors to discredit AltNews. The reaction of Zubair was over the top and dangerous. Instead of responding to him directly, he chose to use the DP (display image) of the user on Twitter, where he was seen with his granddaughter.
Tweet by co-founder of AltNews, Zubair
He wrote, “Hello Jagdish Singh, Does your cute granddaughter know about your part-time job of abusing people on social media?” After misusing the profile image, he also advised Singh to change it.
This was problematic and dangerous behaviour by a so-called ‘fact-checker’. Just because someone is using a family member’s image in their social media account, they can’t be dragged into social media fights, especially when they are children. Although he had blurred the face of the girl in the image, the fact remains that he used a young girl to respond to the man. That minor girl can’t be made responsible for the actions of her grandfather on social media, and someone who claims to fact-check others should be aware of this basic thing. In fact, Zubair’s argument is even more illogical than blaming PM Modi for every tweet posted by Twitter users that he follows on the microblogging site.
As Zubair has a large follower base and is associated with a website, his action becomes far more dangerous. Any social media website has several people, especially Islamists, who use personal information to target individuals who don’t agree with their world view. The fact that Zubair, who is rather well-liked by Islamists used the image of the child, may encourage others to use the same tactic, using images of family members of social media users that don’t agree with, especially images of young girls.
When someone sees that their family members are dragged onto such fights, they are bound to retract in the interest of their minor family members. Essentially, this is a standard method used by co-founders of Altnews and other propagandists to intimidate anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
Following the tweet, Mohammed Zubair was slammed by other Twitter users for such irresponsible behaviour.
So brave of you to dig out a private pic of the man with his grand-daughter to harass him in open. Shows a sick mentality running from 14th century till date.@JSINGH2252, please file a complaint against this lumd fakeer in the nearest police station. https://t.co/7uXoagTczD
Some people noted that actually it is a crime in India, and asked Jagdish Singh to file a case against him.
Old prophetic technique to use opponent’s women as shield .This is a crime in India, requesting Shri @JSINGH2252 to report the tweet and file an FIR against Md. Zubair and his media portal @AltNews . Tagging @NCWIndia as it violates the modesty of an underage girl. https://t.co/98zYqSDgLM
Some knowledgeable person please help @JSINGH2252 to file an FIR. These Islamists should not go unpunished. Tomorrow it could be our daughters, sisters too.
Immediately after Mohammed Zubair targeted the minor girl seen in Jagdish Singh’s profile picture, he immediately changed the same, to prevent anymore misuse of the same.

The day Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya was successfully performed by PM Narendra Modi, as many as 250 Muslims of 50 families, living in Motisara village of Payala Kalla Panchayat Samiti of Barmer city, in Rajasthan, decided to re-convert to Hinduism.
According to reports, Vedic rituals were performed at the village and all 250 members of the 50 families converted to Hinduism by wearing the sacred thread.
Muslim families asserted that they had embraced Hinduism out of free will
The family members asserted that they have not been forced and that they have converted out of free will. The senior members of these Muslim families asserted that they originally belonged to the Kanchan Dhadhi caste. They were following Hindu customs for the past several years. They celebrate Hindu festivals every year at their residences.
Muslims re-convert to Hinduism, say ancestors were forcefully converted by Islamic invaders
They said that their ancestors were Hindus and were forcefully converted by Mughal invaders. “Muslims had frightened our ancestors and forcefully converted them to Islam”, one of the family members was quoted as saying, confirming that they had decided to embrace Hinduism only after gaining historical knowledge about their ancestry.
“But we belong to Hinduism. That is why Muslims keep a distance from us. After getting the information of history we saw that we are Hindus and we should go back to Hinduism. Our customs are related to the entire Hindu religion,” one of the family members said.
“After this the whole family expressed a desire to revive Hinduism,” he added.
On August 5, when PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, these families organised a Havan puja, following which they all tied the Mauli (sacred thread) to embrace Hinduism.
Ram Lalla’s homecoming
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. As the holy city was decked out in yellow to welcome homecoming for Lord Ram, the prime minister performed a series of rituals to lay the foundation stone for the infant deity’s new abode. Bhajans, shlokas and mantras were heard as the Ayodhya, festooned with flowers, diyas and yellow and saffron flags, celebrated the beginning of the construction of the Bhavya Ram Mandir.
The mystery surrounding the tragic and untimely death of 34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput is getting deeper with each passing day. In a shocking revelation made by News 18 journalist Marya Shakil on Twitter, the Bihar police have filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court of India claiming that the late actor had told his sister that his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty would falsely implicate him if he did not pay heed to her.
“On 08.06.2020, the petitioner (Rhea) took away cash, jewellery, laptop, credit card and important documents with her and left the house of the deceased actor. The deceased actor informed his sister that the petitioner will falsely implicate him, if the deceased did not pay heed to her. On 14.06.2020, the deceased actor committed suicide due to torture by the petitioner,” the affidavit emphasised.
Bihar Police files an affidavit in the Apex Court. CBI files FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members
On the day the Union government handed over the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to CBI on the request of Bihar police, the Central agency registered an FIR in the case. The FIR named 6 people including Sushant’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, apart from her mother, father, brother, and two others. It was registered in Delhi in response to a complaint filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh with Bihar police under section 154 of the CrPC. The FIR invoked charges of criminal conspiracy, abetment of suicide, wrongful restrain, wrongful detention, theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal intimidation.
Bhojpuri film actor Anupama Pathak was found dead in her Dahisar residence in the Mumbai Metropolitan area. The police said that the actor had allegedly killed herself.
The 40-year-old actor’s body was found hanging at her rented apartment on August 2, the police said. A suicide note was also reportedly recovered from the late actor’s residence.
Pathak had shared Facebook video saying she has been cheated
Pathak hailed from Patna, Bihar and had moved to Mumbai to work in Bhojpuri films and TV shows. Before allegedly committing suicide, the late Bhojpuri actor, in a Facebook video, shared that she had been cheated and was unable to trust anyone. In the video, Pathak lamented about trust issues and about not having friends who can be of help.
Facebook Live video uploaded by Anupama Pathak
“If you tell someone that you are having problems and at times feel suicidal, that person, no matter how good a friend he or she is, will right away ask you to keep them away from your problems so that they don’t get into trouble after your death. People also make fun of you and disrespect you in front of others. Therefore, never share your problems with anyone and do not consider anyone your friend,” Anupama said in her Facebook live video.
The police have alleged that Pathak was unhappy because one of her friends had not returned her two-wheeler and was stressed with no work because of the coronavirus-induced lockdown. According to news reports, the suicide note written by Pathak also mentioned about an investment of Rs 10,000 in a company named Wisdom Producer Company in Malad, which refused to give her money after the maturity date in December 2019.
Another TV actor named Sameer Sharma was also found dead in his house in Mumbai’s Malad West on Wednesday night. On June 14, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also allegedly found dead. His death has sparked up a lot of suspicions over Mumbai Police’ investigation and the details still remain a mystery.
The Bihar Police on behalf of the Bihar government filed an affidavit on Friday in the Supreme Court, saying that father of Sushant Singh Rajput, KK Singh, has said that Rhea Chakraborty and her family were administering an overdose of medicine to the late actor to “grab” his property.
The affidavit, which was filed by the Superintendent of the Bihar Police, says that Rhea Chakraborty came into contact with the late actor for the sole purpose of usurping his money and later falsely projecting him as a victim of mental illness.
The affidavit also alleged that the transfer petition filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is accused of criminal conspiracy and abetment of suicide in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, is ‘misconceived and not maintainable’.
The Bihar Police also accused the Mumbai Police of being unforthcoming in the investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, claiming that despite their non-cooperation, they had found several leads in the investigation when they had gone to Mumbai to probe the late actor’s death case. They told the Supreme Court that since the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput is a sensitive matter and has inter-state ramifications, they suggested a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Earlier today, Rhea Chakraborty had requested the Enforcement Directorate to defer recording of her statement till the Supreme Court’s next hearing. However, the ED passed up her request. Rhea is expected to record her statement to the ED in the money laundering case against her.
Centre transfers case of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput to CBI, files FIR against Rhea Chakraborty
The death case of Sushant Singh Rajput has been transferred to the CBI after the Centre issued a letter to the CBI on request of the Bihar Police. A case was registered by Sushant’s father KK Singh with Bihar Police on 25th July in which he alleged that Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s ex, pushed him to the point that he committed suicide. Ankita Lokhande, Rajput’s ex-girlfriend and co-actor, provided crucial information to Bihar Police. She also offered chat history between her and Sushant, where he claimed he wanted to end a relationship with Rhea.
CBI has formed an elite SIT (Special Investigation Team) will probe the Sushant Singh Rajput case. According to reports, the SIT will be led by IPS officer Manoj Sashidhar. DIG Gagandeep Ghambir and SP Nupur Prasad are also part of the team.
On the day the union government handed over the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to CBI on the request of Bihar police, the central agency registered an FIR in the case. The FIR names 6 persons including Sushant’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, apart from unknown persons. It has been registered in response to a complaint filed by Sushant’s father K K Singh with Bihar police.
The FIR has been registered under section 154 of the CrPC, and it invokes charges of criminal conspiracy, abetment of suicide, wrongful restrain, wrongful detention, theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal intimidation. CBI has registered the FIR in Delhi.
The FIR names the following persons:
Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who has been accused of manipulating Sushant and misusing his money.
Indrajit Chakraborty, father of Rhea Chakraborty
Sandhya Chakraborty, mother of Rhea Chakraborty
Showik Chakraborty, Rhea’s brother
Samuel Miranda, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager hired by Rhea
Shruti Modi, Sushant’s manager and Rhea’s former manager
Unknown persons
All these persons were named by K K Singh in his FIR filed with Bihar police, which has been now transferred to the CBI by the central govt. The case has been filed under sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306, 506, 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Addition SP with CBI, Anil Kumar Yadav will lead the investigation.
