“An enemy community was foisted upon the Muslims after Independence”: Shaheen Bagh mastermind Sharjeel Imam reveals real-agenda behind CAA protests

In a disconcerting video that emerged on Saturday, one of the co-organisers of the Shaheen Bagh protest, Sharjeel Imam, was seen instigating Muslims to flare up riots across the country. Addressing an audience, Sharjeel admitted that the protests happening across the country has communal undertones while exhorting Muslims to be a force to reckon with and shun secularism, that is responsible for the plight of Muslims for the last 70 years. Sharjeel also claimed that the Father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi was the biggest fascist of the 20th century and the earliest enabler of the Hindu Rashtra.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkoiaxnbXcw]

Lashing out at the left and the CPI (M), Imam affirmed that these parties have always been against the Muslims and the wretched condition of Muslims in West Bengal and Kerala is testimony to it. He criticised CPI(M) as one of the most violent parties and claimed that the CPI(M) members who engage in violence absconded the JNU when the law enforcement agencies came in the University, leaving the innocent students to suffer the beatings.

“Left had never been with Muslims. Look at West Bengal and Kerala. They have staunchly fought against implementing Mandal commission. They were against reservations for Muslims. Backward Muslims were counted as Generals. For the last 70 years, they have stifled the growth of Muslims,” Imam said.

Sharjeel Imam said that Muslims should not fear that their movement will be called communal. He said Muslims should try to get non-Muslims to join the movement, but they should do so on the conditions of Muslims. ‘Now it is time to say to non-Muslims that if you sympathise with us, stand with us on our conditions. If you don’t agree with our condition, you are not sympathiser of Muslims,’ he asserted.

In addition, Imam laid bare the elaborate plan of the Islamists to severe Assam and the North East from the rest of India. He stated that Muslims should take control of Chicken Neck, a narrow stretch of land of about 22 kilometres located in the Indian state of West Bengal, that connects India’s northeastern states to the rest of India, so that Armed Forces cannot reach the North-East and the passage to Assam can be blocked.

“If 5 lakhs Muslims are organised then we can cut the North-east from rest of India. If we cannot do permanently, at least we can cut North-east from India for months. Our responsibility is to cut the Assam from India then Govt will hear our voice. If we have to help the Assam then we will have to cut the Assam from rest of India,” Imam said.

Making a shocking revelation, Sharjeel Imam said that the Muslims have gathered at Shaheen Bagh not for CAA, not to save the constitution. Many of the crowd don’t even know what is CAA and NRC. But now as Muslims have come onto the streets, they are charged, they must be incited further, he said. This is not about CAA, it is about long term injustice done against Muslims, he added.

In an oblique reference to ruinous riots, Imam said that if Muslims do not organise and respond in an unorganised way against this long term injustice, then nobody will save them. Calling upon the Muslims to stage an organised protest, Imam stated that since the people are out on streets against the citizenship law, Muslims should exploit this opportunity and not only educate the protestors on the controversial provisions of CAA, NRC but also about Nelli massacre and Enemy Property Act etc.

Alleging that both judiciary and executive have been prejudiced against Muslims, Imam contended that the judiciary and executive both were more impartial during the British rule than in independent India. “Muslims never got independence. After Independence, an Enemy community was foisted upon the Muslims,” he said.

Imam also alleged that the successive Indian governments after 1950 were much more colonial and biased against Muslims than the last 50 years of the British rule. “Compared to what came after 1950 has been clearly more colonial than the last 50 years of British colonial rule. We (Muslims) should say this without hesitation that we were put through a severe colonial rule after 1950,” Imam said.

Talking about the plan going forward, Imam exhorted the Muslims to create an “Intellectual cell” in which there should be no attachment towards Gandhi, Nation and such similar things and there should be clarity among the Muslims that these are their “enemies”. Imam also stated that the founder of the Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, was a moderate as opposed to extremist, as he is fancied in the historical context.

“We (Muslims) should all know that Gandhi was the biggest fascist of the 20th century. Who brought the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ to the fore? Who converted the Congress party into a Hindu Party? Who floated the concept of moderate nationalism and extremist nationalism? Jinnah was a moderate nationalist,” Imam said.

The former JNU student excoriated past Muslim leaders, especially the Deobandi Muslim section for supporting Congress on the issue of Cow Protection. “The support of prominent Muslim leaders and Deobandi Muslim section for cow protection during the time of independence has proven to be a bane for the Muslims today. Unlike Deobandi, Barelvi Muslim section, which was often dismissed as British agents, firmly stood against the cow protection which was brought by Gandhi and Congress,” Imam said.

Imam also spoke against the “Nation of India”, calling it a “fascist project”. According to him, no intellectual can support the fascist idea of supporting the nation of India. He continued stating that an illusion has been created about this concept by the historians and Muslims should not buy into this notion. “The history of Indian Muslims has never been written. It won’t be written until we take the initiative of writing it. So far, our history has been distorted and it will continue to remain distorted till the history is written by these lackeys of Gandhi,” Imam said.

Criticising the month-long protests in Jamia, Imam said that students of Jamia are indulging in a futile exercise by protesting inside the university. Alluding students to foment anarchy in Delhi, he urged the students to hit the streets and canvass support for the cause from the residents of Delhi and bring the city to a “stop” instead of proceeding with this mindless protests inside the university.

Here are the 4 things that were wrong about the privileged ‘liberal’ vs Ola cab driver episode

Yesterday, social media was abuzz about this incident. Everyone was talking about Ola cabs.

Untitled
Tweet by Ola cabs

Well done Ola cabs for explaining the basics of democracy, the right to free speech and the importance of the free exchange of ideas in the public sphere. They were referring to this incident.

unt1
Tweets by Kanav Sharma

The pity is that Ola had to explain these basics to a person who holds himself out to the world as an employee of a top consultancy firm and a graduate from the reputed Indian School of Business.

As social media pointed out, there is a lot that was wrong about this incident. It brings up issues about democratic mindsets, liberalism, intolerance, class privilege and a lot more. In fact, this incident can be a learning experience as well as a moment of clarity for all. So let me state in four key points everything that the privileged liberal got wrong here.

Liberalism or fascism?

The first rule of business is that the customer is always right. Fine. The first rule of democracy is that we all get one vote each. You can’t mix the two up. Good customer service does not include the expectation that others should submit to your political views.

Did the cab driver complain against the rider for having a different political view? Presumably not. It may be hard for the privileged rider to believe this, but cab drivers are allowed to complain too. But it seems that the cab driver had heard about democracy. The liberal rider had not.

The complaint might actually have affected the ability of the cab driver to earn a living. And it is likely that the rider understood this well. Now what kind of human being would be so heartless as to do something that might take away the daily bread of a humble man and his family? Perhaps someone who cannot see his political opponents as real people, with real lives. Is that liberalism or fascism? Are the two the same?

Keep this in mind for the next time a liberal tries to give a lecture on dissent.

The class angle: privileged liberal vs humble cab driver

This one really stands out in this episode. Considering the vast urban support base of the Hindu right, I suppose this privileged liberal would have met several others who disagree with him. Say at work or in his neighbourhood. At least, let us hope he is not living in such a bubble that he has never even heard an opposing view.

But I am guessing he does not make formal complaints against all of them. Perhaps there was something uniquely irritating about his views being challenged by an Ola cabs driver that sent him over the edge?

Keep this in mind for the next time a ‘liberal’ talks about how they care about the less fortunate in society.

The iron: Are only some people entitled to ‘personal views’?

Notice anything?

Untitled
Twitter bio of Kanav

Shri Kanav Sharma has been careful enough to mention that his Twitter activity reflects “strictly personal views.” Presumably, he doesn’t want his employer to be bothered by vindictive people who might be looking to get him into trouble at work because of his personal views. Fair enough.

How different is it with the Ola driver? Why should he expect Ola to get involved with the driver’s personal views? Or did the Ola driver forfeit the right to have personal views? When and why? Is the Ola driver not a person or not qualified to have a view?

And finally, the fallacy

Beyond the double standards, here is what the entitled liberal really missed while making his core argument:

The depth to which BJP’s propaganda and fake news has reached, it is getting really scary

Let’s suppose for a moment that the rider truthfully narrated what the driver what had said to him. Let’s suppose that the driver did make some factual errors while talking about the history of our beloved Bharat Ratna winning political dynasty. Let’s suppose the rider was 100% factual (and has always been factual) about everything he said (or has ever said).

There’s still a huge fallacy.

In claiming that people of a certain political view are misinformed, he forgot to adjust for education and privilege. To establish his claim, he must compare his cab driver with those of similar education level on the other end of the political spectrum.

A graduate from one of India’s top business schools is almost always going to be more informed than a cab driver who may not have had all those great opportunities in life. This would likely have been just as true if the business school graduate was on the right and the cab driver on the left.

To conclude something about whether people on the right are well informed, Mr. Liberal must debate with those of his own education level but with an opposing political view.

The fact that a business school graduate could not understand this crucial point speaks very poorly of his intellectual abilities.

But keep this in mind for the next time a liberal accuses other people of going to “Whatsapp University.”

As AAP grandstands and dares BJP to arrest Sharjeel Imam, video surfaces where AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan is seen with Imam

The nexus between the ant-India brigade and the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party to instigate violence on the streets of Delhi has been exposed. In a video which has surfaced on social media, it can be seen that AAP leader Amanatullah Khan, who is accused of instigating Muslims to indulge in violence, was present alongside Sharjeel Imam – the chief co-ordinator of the Shaheen Bagh protest, who has been seen pushing secessionist agenda.

In a shocking video, it can be seen that AAP leader Amanatalullah Khan was present next to anti-India propagandist and Shaheen Bagh ‘protests’ mastermind Sharjeel Imam during an anti-CAA protest. In the video, it can be clearly seen Khan asking whether people want to protest or prepare for Friday prayers in Mosques.

Earlier, there were serious allegations against Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP for instigating riots in Delhi by inciting Muslim mobs against the Modi government ahead of the Delhi assembly elections under the guise of protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, which has nothing to do with Indian Muslims.

It was also manifested with AAP leader Amanatullah Khan openly standing with Jamia Nagar protestors which turned violent in December. Later, an FIR was also filed against him for instigating violence through social media.

In an inflammatory speech on December 15 at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, Khan had attacked the BJP government for enacting the Citizenship Amendment Act by claiming that it was discriminatory for Muslims of the country. Khan had also alleged that the silence of Muslims on the Triple Talaq Act was taken as their weakness by the central government.

Read- It’s official: Endgame of Shaheen Bagh protest is second partition of India. Listen to what mastermind and The Wire columnist says

The speech which was attended by thousands of impassioned people gathered to protest against the CAA was allegedly delivered just minutes before the violence broke out on the streets of Delhi.

Just yesterday, AAP leader Amanatullah Khan who had allegedly instigated riots near Jamia Millia university had created ruckus outside Delhi police state demanding the release of a 22-year-old Muslim youth named Furkan who is accused of instigating riots in Jamia Millia University in December.

With new evidence emerging that expose AAP’s nefarious relationship with Sharjeel Imam strengthens the allegations that AAP was indeed behind the anti-India and anti-Hindu propaganda at the Shaheen Bagh protests.

It is important to note that Sharjeel Imam, the chief co-ordinator of Shaheen Bagh protest and a The Wire columnist was seen instigating Muslims of the country to break India by cutting of North-east from the rest of the country.

With that expose of real intentions behind Shaheen Bagh protests, beyond any doubt, it was established that the anti-CAA protests, especially at the Shaheen Bagh, which had earlier turned rampantly communal, was now at the brink of pushing dangerous secessionist agenda aiming for a second partition.

Read- Shaheen Bagh protests: Deep dive into how JNU ‘student’ and The Wire columnist Sharjeel Imam went from ‘let us burn Constitution’ to ‘saving it’

It is important to note that the Shaheen Bagh protests, which were actually passed as an organic protest in a bid to ‘save the constitution’ later turned blatantly communal. It was earlier reported how protestors chanted slogans of “Jinnah Wali Azadi”, exposing the claims of “liberal-secular” media, who had earlier passed of these protests as peaceful.

Shockingly, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, understanding the importance of Muslim votes ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, had publicly declared that he stands in solidarity with Shaheen Bagh protesters, despite anti-India and anti-Hindu slogans were shouted during at the anti-CAA protests.

Facing severe criticism over joining hands with anti-India propagandist, the AAP party seems to be now in a damage control mode as Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, on Saturday challenged the BJP government to arrest Imam within 24 hours. Sisodia further alleged that if Imam is not arrested, then it would seem as if he was BJP’s insider sent to make such inflammatory statements.

Earlier in the day, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra had said Shaheen Bagh should be renamed as “Dishaheen bagh” or rather “Tauheen Bagh” based on the kind of propaganda that they were engaging in the garb of protests against the CAA.

Writer of Karan Johar’s next movie Takht, Hussain Haidry, turns out to be an Islamist: Read how

Hussain Haidry, a poet and writer who is also working with Bollywood Director Karan Johar in his new period drama ‘Takht’ has been exposed on social media for his past ‘Jihadi’ posts where he had fantasised killing people.

A series of old tweets of Hussain Haidry has come to haunt him back in which he has openly made his intentions to kill and inflict pain on people. Hussain Haidry, who the “liberal-secular” ecosystem considers to be an emerging poet, in 2012 took to Twitter to unapologetically express his wish to kill people.

Tweet by Hussain Haidry

In another tweet, dated in October 2012, Haidry had even composed a poem to fantasise his dream to kill people by hijacking aeroplane.

Tweet by Hussain Haidry

Not only that, Haidry, like a true Islamist, had even instigated others to pick a fight with people, burn their house and kill a man if there was a chance.

Tweet by Hussain Haidry

Haidry, following the path of fellow left-wing Sharia intellectuals, had also foul-mouthed Brahmins by calling them the root of all evils in the country.

Tweet by Hussain Haidry

He also called News Nation editor Deepak Chaurasia, who was assaulted by anti-CAA protestors at Shaheen Bagh, as future war criminal.

Hussain also does not have great feelings for his country, saying he can’t love the country as it humiliates him every day.

Some other tweets showing his Hinduphobic mentality are attacked below.

Hussain Haidry has been forefront at the disinformation campaign against the Citizenship Amendment act to instigate people against the Modi government. He has been indulging in spreading false propaganda against the CAA by claiming that the law is discriminatory to Muslims.

He has also been spreading false rumours and inciting Muslims by claiming that they will be sent to detention camps.

Hussain Haidry, who is an out-and-out Jihadi propagandist, has been exposed in the past for being a pervert and expressing his sexual desperation out in the public.

Four-layer security cover, drones, facial recognition system: Security tightened in Delhi for the Republic Day parade

Thousands of security personnel, facial recognition systems, drones, and CCTV cameras are a part of Delhi Police’s security arrangements when India is prepared to host Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro for its Republic Day celebrations on Sunday.

The 71st Republic Day parade will commence from Vijay Chowk and proceed towards Red Fort grounds, instead of starting from India Gate. The occasion marks the day when India’s Constitution came into effect in 1950, and the country became a Republic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay a wreath at the National War Memorial before heading to Rajpath for the R-Day parade, which will begin at 10 am and last for 90 minutes. Earlier this event took place at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at the India Gate, but this year it has been moved to the National War Memorial which was inaugurated in February last year. The PM will be accompanied by the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff and the three service chiefs.

Officials said sharpshooters and snipers will be deployed on top of high-rise buildings to keep a watch on the 8-km-long parade route from Rajpath to the Red Fort on January 26.

The facial recognition system will also be set up at vantage points for the identification of suspects. Hundreds of close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras have also been installed, including at least 150 in areas covering Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, and Yamuna Khadar, officials added.

“We have a four-layer security arrangement. Inner, middle, outer and one along with the border areas across the national capital. Around 5000 to 6000 Delhi Police personnel have been deployed in New Delhi district along with 50 companies of paramilitary forces,” deputy commissioner of police (New Delhi Zone) Eish Singhal said.

A city-wide alert is also being exercised in connection with the Republic Day. A traffic advisory has also been issued about the police’s elaborate arrangement for route diversions for Republic Day.

“Group patrolling, night patrolling and vehicle checking is being carried out with the help of Central Armed Police Forces. Frisking at Metro stations, railway stations, airport and bus terminals has also been tightened,” a senior police official said.

More than 2000 traffic police personnel have been deployed for a smooth flow of traffic and for the facilitation of spectators and visitors to the venue. Adequate security and traffic arrangements for the At Home function at Rashtrapati Bhawan have also been made.

Hotels and taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers to have been told to remain alert and anti-terror measures like tenant and servant verification are being taken. Security personnel has identified vulnerable spots such as market places, railway stations, bus stands and other such establishments, and efforts are being made to secure them with the deployment of an extra police force.

The traffic from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will be blocked from 6 pm Saturday till the parade concludes on Sunday. The traffic police have advised people to follow different routes across the national capital.

The movement of city bus services including Park street, Paharganj, Pragati Maidan, and more, and inter-state bus services will be curtailed. The Delhi Metro will remain open on Republic Day, however, boarding and deboarding at Kendriya Sachivalaya and Udyog Bhavan will be restricted from 5 am till 12 pm. Similarly, the Race course and Patel Chowk metro stations will not function from 8.45 am to 12 pm on Sunday.

The Delhi metro parking facilities will remain closed at all stations from 6.00 am Saturday till 2 pm on Sunday.

Conduct of Church during anti-CAA protests: More concerned about pulling Modi down than their own being persecuted in Islamic states

The Catholic Church in India has decided to join the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The Archbishops have decided that Christians will be asked to read the preamble of the Constitution after the Sunday Mass, the Indian Express has reported. It has also been decided that the 26th of January when the entire country celebrates the Republic Day, will be declared as the ‘Constitution Protection Day’ by the Church.

“The country is going through an unprecedented social situation. The Prime Minister who took over charge by kissing the Constitution is leading the attempts to violate the values provided by the Constitution for this country. Most important among this violation is the division of society on the basis of religion. We should react strongly to exclude one particular community from the CAA,” Bishop D’Souza said.

The Bishop also said that “they would exclude Christians also” which was ‘evident’ from the government’s move to end the reservations in the Lok Sabha for Anglo-Indians and excluding ‘Dalit Christians’ from reservations. Kolkata Archbishop Thomas D’Souza asked Christians to be part of the human chain in the city organised by the United Interfaith Foundation to express the “desire of all citizens of India to have and uphold the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity guaranteed by the Constitution of India.”

Archbishop D’Souza said, “Since the Republic Day is closely associated with the Constitution of India completing 70 years, I request you to carry out the following in all our parish/quasi-parish churches,” and gave the preamble of the Constitution.

“The CAA is against the Constitution. It is not just against Muslims but all of us. So, on January 26, the Preamble would be read out in all the churches under the KRLCBC. Bishops —whichever church they are— would take the National Pledge along with the laity and lead the Preamble readings,” Kerala Regional Latin Catholic Council (KRLCC) general secretary Fr Francis Xavier Thanikkaparambil had said when the declaration was first made on the 20th of January.

The fearmongering about the exclusion of Christians from the CAA is baseless as the Act clearly provides for the citizenship of all religious minority communities from the Islamic States of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Christians are included in the list. However, that doesn’t appear to be stopping the Christian Clergy from opposing the CAA. The Catholic Church appears to be more concerned about political power than the welfare of the persecuted Christians in the aforementioned Islamic States.

Christians, like all other religious minorities, are made to suffer horribly in these Islamic States. It is extremely common for Christian girls to be abducted and married off, often to men much older than them, after their conversion to Islam. As per International Christian Concern, there have been 34 incidents of abduction, forced conversions, rape and assault against children, women in the first nine months of 2019, displaying the vulnerability of Christians in Pakistan. However, for the Catholic Church, opposing Narendra Modi is more important than securing a better future for Christians from Pakistan.

Furthermore, to declare the 26th of January as ‘Constitution Protection Day’ appears hypocritical given the community’s opposition towards declaring the 25th of December as Good Governance Day. “Holding programmes to promote Good Governance is good, but such a celebration should be avoided on Christmas Day. It is an unwanted distraction,” Cardinal Oswald Gracias, Archbishop of Mumbai and president of the FABC Federation of Asian Bishops Conferences had said about the decision of the government. He had even speculated that there was some ‘strategy’ behind it.

Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) said, “What good is there when ‘Good Governance Day’ is hurting the sentiments of Christians who celebrate the birth of Jesus on that day?” “The very idea to put December 25 considered sacred for billions of Christians in bracket with the day for any other official function was erroneous. It has hurt the sentiments of Christians certainly,” Independent MLA in Nagaland, Thomas Ngullie said in 2016.

However, leaders of the Christian community don’t appear to see the irony between declaring ‘Constitution Protection Day’ on the Republic Day after having opposed the decision of the government to celebrate Good Governance Day on the 25th of December.

If we talk about Kashmir Hindus exodus, we are labeled Islamophobe: DU student who was shouted down by left-wing goons

On 19th January, a Delhi University student named Deepika Sharma was heckled and shouted down by leftist goons as she tried to speak up on the atrocities on the 30th anniversary of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the valley. Deepika, a final year student of Hindu College, was speaking at a remembrance meet held in Hindu College under the Delhi University, when a mob of leftist students started shouting her down. Deepika had broken down facing this bullying from left-wing student activists.

OpIndia Hindi editor Ajeet Bharti talked with Deepika after the incident. She said that after joining the university she heard that students should talk about issues of the common man, as it an intellectual place. Because the voices raised at the university reach the government, gets printed. History is made here, and I have seen history can be changed here also.

When asked why she chose to talk about Kashmiri Pandits, Deepika said that the history of the exodus of Pandits is 30 years, and most people remember about 19th January in 1990 when it had reached its peaked. But people don’t know about the incidents and situations leading to it which were going on for years, neither they are taught in universities. When it comes to Kashmir Pandits or Kashmiri Hindus at large, there is silence. People don’t talk about in universities, Kashmiri Hindus are not made part of political discourse. Professors, progressive students, liberal students, intellectual students don’t talk about them.

Deepika said that people talk about the exodus, but don’t talk about the ‘why’ behind the exodus. The exodus was not communal, but the reason behind was communal. We have space to speak, but that space is limited to what is allowed by the crowd. We can’t speak what they don’t allow. If you start talking about the reasons for the exodus, start talking about stories of people who have reached Hindu college from refugee camps, then they will start labelling you. That will be communal, you will get the label of Islamophobic, you will be isolated, you will be called Hindu supremacist. They will say you should talk about free Kashmir at this, not Kashmir Hindus. You should forget about the Kashmiri Pandit issue, you should not go back in history, they will say.

Read- Professors joined leftists in harassing students, media largely focused on one side: ABVP student speaks to OpIndia on JNU violence

Talking about the remembrance meet held at the Hindu College and reactions to other students to it, Deepika said that when started talking about organising the meet, a lot of students said that this is madness, and a large number of students will attack her like vultures if it is organised. Her well-wishers advised her against organising the remembrance meet. But she still decided to go ahead with it, and distributed posters and messages about the meet. When the posters were out, students started asking to postpone the meet, as an anti-CAA-NRC protest was already organised and posters were printed a week ago. Deepika said that it was a pre-emptive action by the leftist groups to plan protests on 20th January so that the no event can be organised to remember the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus. The exodus had happened on 19th January, the event was planned on 20th as 19th was Sunday, and no way it could be held on any other day, she said.

Deepika said that 19th January is a black day of Indian history, and there can’t be any other angle to this date. Until and unless this date becomes a part of history in university and colleges, we will keep fighting, she said.

Talking about the letter that she had started to read at the event before she was shouted by leftist goons, Deepika said that it was a letter from a former student of the college belonging to a Kashmir Hindu family who sent an open letter to be read at the event as she was out of town. Akruti Raina had written the story of her family, what they had to suffer due to the forced exodus.

When Deepika was reading the letter, few students and teachers present there had tears on their eyes hearing the traumatic story. But the left-wing students started raising slogans, calling it Islamophobia, and forced her to stop her reading it.

Deepika Sharma said that only about 5-6 students were with her, and few students had come after seeing the posters of the event. But still she went ahead with it.

Read- JNU: Here is how common students are being harassed by Leftists for not joining their ‘protest’ and wanting to register for next semester

Talking about the growing influence of left-wing politics among students, the student said that it has become a fashion among students to call themselves leftists. You can’t even think about calling yourself right-wing, but you can’t call yourself non-leftist also. If you are not a leftist, you will not get a chance to speak anywhere, she said.

Deepika Sharma said that she is labelled as Brahminical supremacist, Hindu supremacist, identifying her as a Brahmin. I am being labelled based on my surname, which is casteist which these same leftists claim to oppose. Left has perfected the art of controlling the mind, she said.

She also said that when left-wing students organise some political movements in the campus, the professors come and say that ‘this is your first duty as students’, while studying should be the main duty of the students. If politics and study both were going on together than it was fine, but now only politics is happening, she said.

Kerala nun-rape case: Sister Lucy says Church authorities depriving her of food, starving her to force her out of the church

0

Sister Lucy Kalapura, one of the five nuns who stood in support of the nun who accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal in a rape case, on Saturday said that she was being starved at the convent as authorities have been depriving her of food to force her out of the church.

According to the reports, the 52-year-old nun accused the authorities of denying food but she said she will remain at Franciscan Clarist Congregation’s convent even if she was starved to death.

“I have filed three complaints against the convent authorities but police failed to take action in any of them. It seems the police are scared to take action against authorities who trouble me,” she added.

Sister Lucy is one of the five nuns who led the protests against Bishop Franco last year, who had alleged that there are efforts being carried out to sabotage evidence to protect rape-accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal.

In a bid to silence the protesting nurse, the Franciscan Clarist Congregation (FCC) had written to the family of another protesting nun – Sister Lucy Kalapurakkal to take her back home after she was expelled from the congregation. Sister Lucy Kalapurakkal had last year supported the victim nun and had demanded the arrest of rape-accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal, who headed the Roman Catholic Diocese in Jalandhar.

Shockingly, Sister Kalapura said that the harassment against her has increased after her autobiography was released in December last year. She said she had filed another petition to the Vatican questioning her expulsion and that she expected a favourable reply from the supreme head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis.

“If the police take some action, my tormentors will prevail. But they haven’t taken any action fuelling more harassment. Despite all the troubles, I will not leave the convent,” she said adding she will move the court soon.

Recently, Sister Lucy Kalappura had come out with her autobiography in which she recounted sexual abuses and aberrations prevalent in convents. The nun, who belongs to the order of Franciscan Clarist Congregation in Kerala, was hounded for raising her voice against rape-accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal, narrates her life experiences and talks about sexual abuse and harassment of nuns in the book titled ‘Karthaavinte Naamathil (In The Name of The Lord)’

Reportedly, the book reveals how Sister Lucy was a silent witness to many incidents where nuns have tried to give expression to their sexual desires. In the book, the nun reveals that many of the nuns have ‘unholy’ relationships with priests who are in authority and added that the priests encourage such relationships.

The book also writes regarding how the priests try to abuse not only nuns but also young girls as well. In the book, she writes how she heard of instances where priests have sexual relationships with nuns. Sister Lucy writes about the abuse young nuns face from priests and elder nuns. Further, she claims that homosexuality is rampant among nuns and priests.

Franco Mulakkal, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jalandhar, was accused of raping a 44-year-old nun at a guest house in Kuravilangad in May 2014 and subsequent sexual exploitations afterwards. The nun had registered a complaint in June 2018 and has also claimed that despite her complaints, the church took no action on the bishop.

Here are 10 incidents in last three months when journalists were attacked at ‘tolerant and secular’ gatherings

0

Left-wing cadres and Muslim mobs have attacked journalists several times, especially the ground reporters ever since the sinister propaganda of these so-called ‘liberal-secular’ brigade was exposed by these scribes.

Aided and inspired by few ‘journalists’ close to the Congress ecosystem, who often term the media in the country, that does not agree with them, as ‘Godi media’ in a reference to attack them by falsely insinuating that they are close to the Modi government, the left-wing cadres have joined hands with Muslim mobs to unleash violence in the name of fighting the ‘biased-media’.

There have been several cases of mobs especially controlled by either left-wing forces or the opposition parties targetting media professionals to silence them from exposing sinister agenda peddled by the left-wing forces and opposition parties.

Here is a list of attacks on journalists by ‘secular-liberal’ opposition voices of the country:

Deepak Chaurasia attacked by a mob at Shaheen Bagh

Brazening out the violence, Shah admitted that she did hit them but defended herself by blaming the staff members as instigators.”I did hit them, but they started it. The gatekeeper pestered me with trivial questions and didn’t allow me to enter the clinic.

I told him that I had an appointment. In the clinic when I complained about the watchman, the staff members started abusing me and speaking rudely. I was jostled by one of the women there and was told to leave the premises forthwith. This is not the way you speak to people who visit your customers. They started fighting with me. The clinic staff should be cordial with the visiting customers,” Shah said.
