Men will be men: Canadian MP Jagmeet Singh offers Playboy model and porn star ‘desserts’ for supporting ‘farmer protests’

The absurdity of the campaign against India reached its peak when Canadian Member of Parliament Jagmeet Singh, suspected by Indian intelligence agencies of sheltering pro-Khalistan elements, offered desserts to former porn star Mia Khalifa and Playboy model Amanda Cerny in a desperate attempt to downplay the Greta toolkit.

The global campaign against India over the ‘farmer protests’ has devolved into a theater of the absurd since Greta Thunberg inadvertently revealed the Khalistani hand behind it. Since the Khalistani agenda was exposed, efforts have been underway to downplay the Greta toolkit.

The train of conversation began with ‘poet’ Rupi Kaur falsely claiming that ‘diaspora Sikhs’ like her were being accused of paying entertainers to tweet in support of the farmer protests in India.

Mia Khalifa responded saying that she will forward the payment by ordering food from a local Indian restaurant. The poet offered to pay for the dinner herself.

It was then that Jagmeet Singh made his entry. He offered to pay for the desserts of Amanda Cerny and Mia Khalifa to round up the feast.

The farcical nature of the campaign became evident when clueless entertainers jumped on the bandwagon in order to draw attention to what they called ‘human rights violations’. Soon after, the ‘toolkit’ that was distributed to garner support for the protests was found to have been created by Khalistani organizations in order to tarnish India’s reputation abroad.

Jagmeet Singh, here, is pretending to be all about fun and games but Mo Dhaliwal, whose PR company Skyrocket and organisation Poetic Justice Foundation, played a critical role in all of this has worked closely with the Canadian MP in the past and helped him in his political campaigns.

Refusing to pay rent, tenants kill 61-year-old landlady, three accused including 65-year old Ashrafunnisa arrested

On Friday, the VV Puram police arrested three people in connection to the gruesome murder of their 61-year-old landlady in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

As per reports, the victim has been identified as Rajeshwari. A resident of Koramangala, Rajeshwari had gone to Parvathipura to collect rent from her tenants Aleem Pasha (26) and his brother Jilaan (20) at around 10:30 am on Thursday (February 4). Pasha had not paid his rent since March last year. Whenever Rajeshwari would ask for money, he would say that his catering business was yet to pick up due to the lockdown.

The landlady had earlier waived off his 3 months’ rent and asked him to pay the due rent of ₹35000. On the fateful day, Rajeshwari visited Pasha and asked him to vacate the property if he could not pay. An enranged Pasha then brought a rod and hit her with it on her head and neck. Rajeshwari soon lost consciousness and then died, and her body turned cold and pale. When Pasha told his uncle Ibrahim and grandmother Ashrafunnissa about his plans to surrender to the police, the duo advised against it.

Aleem Pasha and his family members disposed off the body

Ibrahim along with Aleem Pasha, his brother Jilaan and Ashrafunnissa wrapped the body using polythene and bedsheets. They then covered it up with tarpaulin and put in the passenger seat of the auto owned by Jilaan. Ibrahim and Jilaan carried the body in the auto to Kumbalgodu while Pasha followed the vehicle in his bike. Pasha found a stormwater drain near the Marigold International School. The trio dumped the body in the drain and set it on fire using 2 litres of petrol, which they had purchased on the way.

Tenants raise concerns, victim’s son registers police complaint

After destroying evidence of their crime, the three accused returned home, took a bath and cleaned the bloodstains. The matter came to light when the victim’s son Dr. Deepak MR had registered a complaint with the police.

After Rajeshwari did not return home and her phone was found switched off, he contacted his relatives and family members to know about the whereabouts of his mother. The victim had told her son that she was going to collect rent from Pasha. At around 11 pm on Thursday, Deepak went to Pasha’s house and inquired about his mother. Pasha claimed that Rajeshwari had left his house after collecting rent from him.

The following morning, Deepak again visited the accused’s house along with his wife Mamatha and insisted that he wanted to check the rooms. However, Pasha claimed that one of the rooms was ‘fumigated’ and that he could not allow them inside. On inquiring with other tenants, he learnt that Pasha and his family members had carried a tarpaulin-covered bundle in an auto-rickshaw.

Police cracks case in 24 hours, nabs the three accused

This alerted Deepak and he immediately lodged a missing complaint with the VV Puram police. The cops initiated the probe, analysed her call records and found that her phone was switched off at MV Lane in Parvathipura. On interrogating the tenants and verifying the CCTV footage, the police detained Pasha, Jilaan and Ashrafunnisa.

After successfully cracking the case within 24 hours, the police informed, “We picked up Aleem Pasha, Jilaan and Ashrafunnisa who confessed to the crime. We are yet to arrest Ibrahim. They have been booked for murder and causing disappearance of evidence.”

Darshan Pal vs Rakesh Tikait: Cracks appear in farmer protests even as farmer leaders portray a united front

Even as the ‘farmer’ leaders squatting on the streets of the country holding country into ransom, trying to portray their movement as a united front, cracks appear to have formed between the factions of the farmer organisations over the issue of leadership. According to the reports, an internal rift has erupted between Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) spokesperson Darshan Pal Singh and Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait over certain decisions made in the run-up to the 3-hour long ‘chakka jam’ that was held on Saturday.

As the 3-hour long ‘chakka jam’ ended with no major impact in the country, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) spokesperson Darshan Pal Singh had expressed his displeasure on Saturday against Tikait saying the BKU leader, who is accused of instigating Republic day riots, should have consulted with them before taking certain decisions.

Farmer unions upset over unilateral decision of Rakesh Tikait

Earlier, Rakesh Tikait had made a statement saying, “We have evidence that few people would have attempted to spread violence at these places. So we have decided to not block roads in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.”

Reportedly, Darshan Pal is not happy with Tikait’s decision to not carry out ‘chakka jam’ in the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Speaking to the media, Darshan Pal, a former Maoist leader, said that BKU leader Rakesh Tikait should consult farmer unions before taking such a call.

According to another farmer union leader, Rakesh Tikait took the decision to not hold protests in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in a haste and did not consult any of them. He said ‘farmer’ leaders camping at the borders along with Delhi for over two months were surprised to hear about the unilateral decision of Tikait.

Meanwhile, Darshan Pal has claimed that there is no division among the ‘farmer’ union despite having some disagreements.

Uttarakhand disaster: As arm-chair environmentalists tweet from toolkits to blame dams, here is how the Tehri dam actually averted a greater tragedy

On Sunday, a massive flash flood was reported from Uttarakhand after the water level in the Dhauliganga river rose suddenly due to the break down of a glacier near a power project at Raini village Tapovan area of Chamoli district. The flooding occurred due to cloudburst and the subsequent breaching of a dam construction site near Raini village which destroyed many river bankside houses in the area.

As the Uttarakhand state machinery was working on a search and rescue operations to trace the missing villagers and the construction workers, a section of armchair environmentalists descended on social media platforms to blame the government for carrying too much of developmental activities in the Himalayan state.

According to these self-proclaimed environmentalists and ecological experts, the construction of dams was the reason for the disaster that occurred in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Sunday. The alleged ‘activists’, joining hands with the usual left-liberal media, put out misinformation about the nature of Uttarakhand disaster and held the government responsible for the same.

Dia Mirza, a former Bollywood entertainer who seems to have no idea about either natural hazards or disaster management, posted a series of tweets on her Twitter timeline blaming dams for the Chamoli disaster.

“Building too many dams in the Himalayas had led to this,” claimed yesteryear actress Dia Mirza.

As per Dia Mirza, Chamoli disaster resulted from ‘cutting trees, cutting into ‘her’ mountains, building dams combined with climate change’. Not just Dia Mirza, even left-liberals, Congress supporters and its troll embarked on Dia’s idea to blame ‘Dams’ for the Chamoli disaster.

In a tweet, Mrinal Pande, a senior troll-cum-journalist who formerly worked with the Congress party mouthpiece National Herald, requested the state government to stop promoting ‘environmentally vulnerable zone’ as a tourist destination and branding it as Dev Bhoomi.

Widening of roads, large water and power projects are endangering millions of human lives here, said Mrinal Pande.

Supriya Sharma, a ‘journalist’ working for far-left portal Scroll also tweeted a report that claimed that successive governments in Uttarakhand, from both BJP and Congress, have put pressure on the centre to keep infrastructures going. She claimed that it was through projects such as dams and highways, politicians made money in Uttarakhand.

Congress leader Satyajeet Tambe said that it was high time that we took global warming and dam construction seriously and treat our environment sensibly.

Contrary to the claims of environmental ‘experts’ that the Chamoli disaster was due to the construction of large dams in the eco-sensitive area, the disaster near a power project at Raini village in Tapovan area resulted due to a glacier outburst. As glacier outburst brings a lot of water downstream, it resulted in water level rise in the Dhauliganga river. There is no developmental activity near the glacier, which is not possible, and the glacier bust occurred due to natural reasons, no dams were responsible for it.

The floodwater destroyed the power project and several houses situated on the rivers’ banks, causing hundreds of causality. The situation could have been worse if not for the flood management operation that the Uttarakhand government undertook.

As soon as they realised that the flood would reach the downstream areas, the state government took effective states to control the water flow. The large dams and reservoirs such as the Tehri dam were used to avert a downstream disaster.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat took to Twitter to appraise the situation and said that they had to stop the flow from Tehri dam to facilitate the smooth passage of rising waters on the rivers Rishiganga and Alaknanda.

It is important to note that the affected under-construction dam is on Rishiganga near Raini village in Tapovan area. The excess water from Rishiganga will join Alaknanda rivers, thus increasing the intensity of the floods in the downstream. As the state government deviated the flow from the Tehri dam to accommodate the floodwater of Rishiganda, the intensity of the flood decreased.

It is in fact, the existing flood control system in the state through dams and the effective management of the floods saved the day for Uttarakhand.

However, the likes of Dia Mirza and other left-liberals, who does ‘activism’ on their social media platforms rather than on the ground, perhaps have limited understanding about flood control or natural disasters.

Uttarakhand Floods:

A massive flood has been reported from Uttarakhand after the water level in Dhauliganga river rose suddenly due to the break down of a glacier near a power project at Raini village in Tapovan area of Chamoli district.

More than 100-150 people may have been dead or severely injured due to the flash floods caused due to the breaking down of a glacier near a power project at Raini village in Tapovan area of Chamoli district.

A glacier broke off near Joshimath in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Sunday, causing a massive flood in the Dhauliganga river and endangering the lives of people living along its banks. The authorities fear massive destruction for lives and damage to the properties.

The flooding occurred due to cloudburst and the subsequent breaching of a reservoir near Raini village that has destroyed many river bankside houses in the area.

Actor Siddharth says Jesus, Prophet Muhammad, Guru Gobind Singh, others were humans and ‘fornicated and excreted’ just like us

Actor Siddharth, today, took to Twitter to deep dive into philosophy and said that gods like Jesus, Prophet Muhammad and others also ‘fornicated and excreted’ just like us.

Actor Siddharth’s tweet

He said that Jesus, Prophet Muhammad, Sai Baba, Guru Gobind Singh, Buddha were all humans and ‘finite creations of God’. “They were like you, they ate, fornicated, excreted and died. You are unique. You are a God. Love yourself. Help others. Be a God..be a child of God. Love will free us,” he tweeted.

Netizens, however, were not quite pleased with what they read. One Twitter user told Siddharth that Jesus was ‘infinite’ and was upset at him using Jesus and fornication in same sentence.

One Twitter user Baisul Azarutheen claimed that all the gods he mentioned were against fornication. He even suggested Siddharth reads up about them.

One Twitter user Abbas claimed that Jesus and Muhammad were messengers (prophets) from Allah and had actually come to stop mankind from evils, one of which was fornication.

Others also tried to ‘correct’ him that Jesus and Muhammad did not ‘fornicate’.

Fornication essentially means consensual sexual intercourse between two individuals who are not married.

Police arrest one Nazim for posting provocative message after Jat youth’s murder in Bijnor

0

Bijnor police have arrested a youth named Mohammad Nazim for posting a provocative message on social media over the murder of Jat youth Rachit Chowdhary. CM Yogi Adityanath has already ordered to initiate a case under RASUKA against the accused. Four assailants were arrested for killing Rachit. As per reports, there was a conspiracy of inciting communal violence after the murder.

Police have arrested Nazim for posting a video celebrating the death of Rachit and making objectionable comments. Since the murder, police have been monitoring social media for any provocative messages. They come across a post by Nazim in which he released a video and wrote, “The throne will be yours but the crown will be ours, whichever city it is, we will rule it.” The video had gone viral.

The cyber team took cognizance of the video, and on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Dr. Dharamvir Singh, Nazim was arrested and sent to jail. A case has been registered against him under serious sections. SP Singh said if someone posts a provocative message on social media, police will take strict action against them.

Rachit Chowdhary murder case

The Bijnor police had arrested four Muslim youth for brutally gunning down Rachit Jat in Bijnor’s Jhalu town in Western Uttar Pradesh. The accused Shadab, Sariq, Shahbaz, and Shehzad were residents of Mohalla Pirzadgan in Jhalu town, were arrested while Iqbal managed to flee. Police also recovered the murder weapon. While speaking to the media, police said that National Security Act had been invoked against the accused, and they will be tried in a fast-track court. The preliminary investigation suggests that the incident was a fallout of an old enmity.

After porn star, Playboy model enters global campaign against India, ‘Team Kisan’ offers to receive Amanda Cerny at airport in a tractor: Details

Team Kisan, a group that purportedly supports the ongoing protests against the farm laws, has offered to receive Playboy model Amanda Cerny at the airport in a tractor should she ever choose to visit India. The group made the proposal after the model said that she found tractors ‘sexy’.

The theater of the absurd continues

Team Kisan has over nearly 11000 followers on Twitter and it is active on Facebook as well.

Team Kisan

Amanda Cerny, meanwhile, has been very vocal about the protests.

Amanda Cerny has attracted a lot of support for her comments and screenshots of her snarky replies on social media are being shared across platforms.

Perhaps seeing the sudden outburst of support, the Playboy model has reminded her followers that they could pay her on OnlyFans for exclusive content. OnlyFans is mostly used by pornographic models to earn money by selling nude photographs of themselves although fitness enthusiasts and musicians also use the platform.

All of this further illustrates the madness that the entire campaign has descended to. After pop stars, porn stars, school dropout children, now Playboy models have also entered the scene and are garnering immense support.

Read how radical Islamist outfit JKLF had killed an Indian diplomat in England 37 years ago

The year was 1984. Maqbool Bhatt, the co-founder of the radical Islamist terror outfit Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), had been languishing in prison and awaiting an impending death penalty. Bhatt was arrested while trying to cross the LoC (Line of Control) on June 10, 1966, from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to the Indian territory of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of a CID officer named Amar Chand.

In order to coerce the Indian government to release Maqbool Bhatt, the Kashmir Liberation Army (KLA) had abducted a 48-year-old Indian diplomat Ravindra Hareshwar Mhatre in UK on February 3, 1984. Mhatre was a second-ranking officer in the Indian Consular office in 86 New Street in Birmingham. The terror outfit sent a hand-written message to the Reuters office in London, informing that they have kidnapped the Indian diplomat and would kill him if their demands were not met.

They had sought the release of Maqbool Bhatt, terrorists  Ashraf Qureshi and Hashim Qureshi involved in the hijacking of Indian Airlines aircraft (1971) and 7 radical Islamists from Kashmir who caused violence in Srinagar during a cricket match against the West Indies. The KLA had also demanded a ransom of 1 million pounds. Meanwhile, the Reuters office contacted the Scotland Yard and informed them about the development. The terror outfit rang up another Kashmiri separatist named Zubair Ansari to negotiate on their behalf.

Lack of information and Mhatre’s murder

Since the terrorists did not provide any addresses or named the Indian diplomat they had in captivity, the resolution of the tense situation seemed impossible. “It looks as if you people have not taken it seriously,” said the voice, “now you will have to face the consequences,” KLA told Ansari. On the following day, the dead body of Ravindra Hareshwar Mhatre was found at a farm in Hinckley in Leicestershire. The Indian diplomat was shot twice, once in the head and once in the body.

The Execution of JKLF founder Maqbool Bhatt

When the news of his death reached the South Block, a sense of panic struck the Indira Gandhi government. It was decided that the founder of JKLF, Maqbool Bhatt, would be hung soon. An official was dispatched to Kolkata to obtain the President’s rejection of the terrorists’ mercy petition. On February 11, Maqbool Bhatt was hanged to death at the Tihar jail.

Arrests in the Ravindra Mhatre murder case

In November 1977, JKLF had sent a tape-recorded message threatening to kill the then Indian High Commissioner NG Goray unless Maqbool Bhatt was released. The killing of the Indian diplomat in Birmingham was also linked to the fact that 90% of Kashmiris staying in Britain at that time hailed from PoK. Besides, one of the key reasons behind the KLA targetting Mhatre was that he wasn’t eligible for personal protection.

Eyewitnesses revealed that Mhatre was gheraoed by 3 people and shoved into a red car near the bus stop at Bartley Green in Birmingham. Following the brutal killing of Mhatre, two accused Mohammed Riaz and Abdul Qayyum Raja were convicted of the murder. Another JKLF terrorist, Mohammed Aslam Mirza was arrested in 2004 for overstaying his vias in the United States. Interestingly, it was found that his fingerprints matched with those found on the murder weapon of the Indian diplomat.

KLA, JKLF and Pakistan connection

Intelligence reports suggested that Qureshi flew to London from Pakistan along with JKLF co-founder Amanullah Khan and stayed ay his Luton Residence. At the same time, another JKLF terrorist had also gone to London prior to Mhatre’s death. It must be noted that the KLA and JKLF had the same objectives – the secession of Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian territory.

While the JKLF denied any involvement in the murder of the Indian diplomat, the Indian government believed that the sudden movement of the terrorists associated with the radical Islamist outfit, prior to Mhatre’s death could not merely be a coincidence.

Mathura court admits plea to remove Shahi Idgah Mosque from Krishna Janmbhoomi saying the suit is maintainable, issues notice to all parties

On February 6, a district court in Uttar Pradesh accepted a petition to remove the Shahi Idgah Mosque of Mathura that was built by Aurangzeb by encroaching land of Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi in Mathura. As per the reports, the court has issued a notice to all parties, including Shahi Idgah Mosque Management Committee, to submit their views. A hearing will join soon after all parties join the case.

As per the report published in Aaj Tak, Sanjay Gaur, District Government Advocate, Mathura, said that Additional District and Sessions judge Devkant Shukla has issued notice to all parties and accepted the petition hearing. The court noted that the suit is permissible and it will have a detailed hearing on the case. The parties have been asked to present their case on March 8, 2021.

Three demands in the petition

Pawan Kumar Shastri filed the petition on behalf of Thakur Keshav Dev Ji Maharaj Virajman, the old Keshavdev temple’s deity. The notice has been issued to the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board, secretary of Shahi Idgah Management Committee, managing trustee of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust and secretary of Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan. There are three requests made in the petition:

The petition has claimed the entire 13.7 acres of Katra Keshav Dev Temple complex, including the land of the royal Idgah Mosque. It has asked for the right to manage the entire temple complex. He has claimed that his ancestors have been serving God as a priest for decades. Claiming to be a real serviceman of the temple, the petitioner has presented himself as the right person to manage the temple.

Shastri sought dismissal of the 1967 judgment that approved the agreement between Sri Krishna Janmasthana Seva Sansthan and Shahi Idgah Management Committee that had allowed the mosque to stay close to the temple. He has petitioned the court to direct the Lucknow-based Sunni Waqf Board president and Shahi Idgah Management Committee to remove the mosque from its existing location.

Similar application was filed in October 2020

A similar application was filed on October 12 in the court of District Judge Mathura Sadhni Rani Thakur, where the petitioners had claimed that Shahi Idgah was built in the 17th century on the premises of the 13-acre Katra Keshava Dev Temple of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. The petitioners further alleged that there was a temple of Krishna at that spot which the Mughals broke down and built the mosque.

Chachi vidhayak hain hamari: Meena Harris and ‘family raj’ in US politics

Let us suppose you are the President or the Vice President of the United States. You have literally millions of fans. How about you start selling them shirts, caps, books, mugs, etc, perhaps with your face or slogans on it? You could even do influencer marketing from your social media accounts by endorsing products or causes. Imagine just how much money you could make.

Some of this would be legal. Some of it probably would not. But all of it would be bad optics. You are commander-in-chief, not Rihanna.

Fortunately or unfortunately, there is a way around this. And it would be quite familiar to the Indian voter. Politicians having a deep commitment to their families.

Meet Meena Harris. As The Politico explains,

Last August, after Biden picked Kamala, Meena pushed the Biden team to sell a shirt in the campaign store that she designed with fellow influencer CLEO WADE. The shirt was emblazoned, “THE FIRST BUT NOT THE LAST,” alongside a picture of a young Kamala.

Say you are a Biden-Harris fan, eager to support your dear leader(s). So you take your hard earned money to the Biden campaign store and get a shirt that tells the world you’re a liberal. The campaign shirt costs way more than an ordinary piece of clothing. But you pay anyway because the high markup supports the ’cause.’ Don’t worry if Meena Harris benefits from this personally in terms of money or publicity.

As a Biden-Harris supporter, you do your karma. Don’t worry about who eats the fruit. That might just be spin that the first woman Vice President of the United States is putting on the most famous line from the Bhagavad Gita. Hey Indians, are you not proud?

I’m being unfair. A lot of American politicians have a side hustle of this sort. Remember that campaign contributions go to the campaign itself and not the personal bank account of the candidate. The two are separate legal entities. But you could always use the campaign money for campaign related purposes, such as hiring publicity managers and the like. And if there happens to be a close family member who just happens to run a media and consulting firm, who could fault you for wanting to hire them?

Meena Harris has a degree from Harvard Law School. She runs a fashion company that sells such inspirational T-shirts. She also has some media ventures, also apparently dedicated to producing videos that inspire people to be more like her aunt. And she has even written a book called “Kamala and Maya’s big idea,” which is currently No. 4 on the New York Times bestsellers list and has Kamala’s likeness on the cover.

So did Meena give up a career as a highly paid lawyer to pursue a life of noble poverty, dedicated to “inspiring” people? Or was this more profitable? You decide.

Again, if you are a Biden-Harris fan, you need not worry about this. You can just feel good about getting Phenomenal Kamala Harris Swimsuit,” “Phenomenal Kamala Tank,” and “Kamala T-shirt.” By the way, that’s the name of the clothing line that Meena owns: Phenomenal.

Meena likes that word: Phenomenal. Her media venture is also named “Phenomenal productions.” As the Politico notes:

Meena announced she was starting the production company with BRAD JENKINS, a former Obama White House staffer, weeks after the election. One of her first projects was a two-minute video featuring clips of her aunt, which debuted the day before Inauguration Day.

We celebrate Kamala Harris, the first woman and first Black American and Asian American to serve as vice president of the United States of America,” the video’s narrator says.

Meena’s company produced the video with the Supermajority Education Fund, a nonprofit devoted to women’s leadership. (An allied super PAC, Supermajority, spent more than $1 million running ads backing Biden and opposing President DONALD TRUMP last year; most of its funding came from a super PAC started by GEORGE SOROS). On YouTube, the ad lists Meena as a producer.

The term ‘PAC’ stands for ‘Political Action Committee.’ That is a group of people who spend money for some political cause. A super PAC gets funding from another super PAC which got most of its money from George Soros. This super PAC is allied to a “non-profit” which is “devoted to women’s leadership.” And this allied non-profit produces a video with Meena’s company. Nothing to see here, folks, except for the best of intentions.

By the way, what is a “super PAC” and how is it different from a PAC? Unlike a PAC, a “super PAC” has no limits on how much money it can raise and/or spend. As a consequence, a super PAC is not allowed to legally coordinate with the candidate and must work independently of their campaign. You know, like one super PAC pays another super PAC whose allied non-profit makes videos with companies owned by family members of the candidate. Transparency everywhere.

The White House said it did not know if Meena was paid for the ad,or whether her company volunteered its time. If the former, it might violate White House policy. Asked if she was paid by Supermajority, Meena didn’t respond.

So did Meena get paid for these videos or not? The aunt says she doesn’t know and the niece says she won’t tell. On the good side, Kamala’s inability to see might be a tribute to the character of Gandhari in the Mahabharata. As an Indian, I know I’m thrilled.

As Axios notes:

Phenomenal has sold several other items inspired by Kamala Harris since Biden announced her as his running mate.

  • They include a sweatshirt with “MVP” on it, standing for “Madam Vice President,” and another with the phrase “I’m speaking” on the front — a nod to a moment when Kamala Harris complained about being interrupted during a vice-presidential debate.
  • After Kamala Harris received the “too-ambitious” criticism, her niece created and sold a pink sweatshirt with “AMBITIOUS” written on the front.

Inspiring people is good work. And it is big business. Incidentally, there are some ethics policies surrounding such “inspiration,” but as Politico writes:

But the policy has been trickier to enforce with Meena than some other family members, given how much Kamala’s image is intertwined with her business projects.

Of course it has been trickier. Meena Harris is too independent to get bogged down by such things. Be it American liberals or India’s farmers, her independent empire of “inspiration” runs across continents.

But you don’t have to worry about the money trail. Go get yourself a nice shirt or hoodie with an inspirational message from the aunt. Show the world that you are a liberal. Don’t worry. You are not the first to fall for this and you most certainly won’t be the last.
