Kishan Bharwad and Kanhaiya Lal: The eerie similarities between two brutal murders by Islamists in the name of blasphemy

On June 28, a Hindu man named Kanhaiya Lal was brutally beheaded in Udaipur for an alleged post on social media in support of former spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nupur Sharma. The two Islamists who murdered the poor tailor Kanhaiya Lal in broad daylight made a video of the murder and published it on social media, stating they had killed him as he had insulted Prophet Muhammad.

They also threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a similar manner, brandishing their knives with glee on their faces.

The killers, identified as Mohammed Riyaz Akhtar and Mohammed Gos, were arrested within hours of the incident, but by then, an older video of one of the killers also went viral where he had talked about ‘killing the ones who commit blasphemy’. He also provoked other Islamists to kill anyone who dares to insult Islam.

Notably, after the said post, a complaint was filed against Kanhaiya Lal by his neighbour. He was arrested for the same but later released on bail. He was receiving continuous threats from Islamists, and he had approached the Police for protection. However, the Police ignored his plea. As per reports earlier, Police had called a few Islamists who had been threatening Kanhaiya Lal and made them sign an agreement stating they would not act on the threats. The Police allegedly used the agreement signed between Kanhaiya Lal and the other side as an excuse to ignore his plea for security.

The statement by the Police over a series of events

The Police said a case was filed against Kanhaiya Lal for the alleged post on June 10. HS Ghumariya, ADG Law and Order, said, “On June 10, a case was filed against victim Kanhaiya Lal for propagating objectionable remarks made against (Prophet) Muhammad. He was arrested and bailed out. On June 15, he complained of a death threat, Police took action and called the concerned party threatening him.”

He added, “On June 15, the matter was resolved between both parties (Kanhaiya Lal and concerned people from the Muslim community) threatening him. They reached a compromise in writing that the misunderstanding had been cleared. We’ll now probe concerned people on why the matter escalated.”

For six days, Kanhaiya Lal did not open the shop as he knew he was being watched. After six days, he opened his tailor shop, and on the same day, he was killed by the two Islamists. The Police will now question the people who had signed the agreement of compromise and why the incident took place.

Notably, the incident has a striking similarity with the brutal murder of Kishan Bharwad.

The murder of Kishan Bharwad

On January 25, 2022, Kishan Bharwad, a Dhandhuka (Ahmedabad) youth, was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants for a social media post about Prophet Muhammad. Notably, Islamists take offence if someone publishes an image of the Prophet Muhammad, and it is considered an act of blasphemy.

Islamists reached the Police station in the form of a large mob and pressured the Police to take action against Kishan. When Kishan reached the Police station, he was beaten up by the mob. His father alleged some Police personnel also joined the mob to beat him. Kishan was made to apologise.

Just like in the case of Kanhaiya Lal, things did not calm down even after Kishan’s apology. He was later arrested by the Police under Islamist pressure. On the same day, Kishan’s wife gave birth to a daughter. Kishan, who would have been proud to become the father of a baby girl, never got a chance to see her.

A day later, his father arranged bail for him, and Kishan was sent away to live with his uncle for a few days. In desperation to see his little child, Kishan left his uncle’s house with his cousin on a bike to another uncle’s house. At 4 PM, he came back and at 5:30 PM, he was assassinated by the Islamists.

Investigation revealed a racket led by a maulvi to murder anyone who allegedly commits blasphemy. Multiple arrests were made, and the matter is sub-judice.

The similarities between Kishan and Kanhaiya Lal’s murders

In both Kishan and Kanhaiya Lal cases, the deceased had apologised for the social media posts. They both were jailed and later got bail. Both Kishan and Kanhaiya Lal received death threats. Even after apologising, their lives never went back to normal. For days they tried to escape death, but in the end, they were brutally murdered for mere social media posts, because some people considered it ‘blasphemy’.

In every such case, no matter if it happened in India or elsewhere, once a target has been set by the Islamists on anyone for alleged blasphemy, his or her life can never become ‘normal’. It either ends with lifelong ‘looking over the shoulder’ or death. Take the case of late Kamlesh Tiwari. He was killed by the Islamists years after the alleged blasphemy, for which he had spent substantial time in jail as well.

In France, the alleged blasphemy by Charlie Hebdo continues to cause deaths. The office of Charlie Hebdo was attacked, and multiple people were killed. Last year, in connection to the case, a schoolteacher was killed by an Islamist for allegedly showing the ‘cartoon’ made by Charlie Hebdo magazine that had caused the controversy in his classroom.

In Pakistan, Madarsa teachers kill their colleagues ‘because Prophet told them in a dream that she is committing blasphemy and ordered her murder’. It is not something that had happened decades ago, but it is a recent incident that happened in March of this year.

Maharashtra crisis: Uddhav to face trust vote on June 30, rebel Shiv Sena MLAs to return from Guwahati

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has written to the state assembly and called for a special session on June 30, Thursday. The only agenda of the session is trust vote against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

The rebel Shiv Sena MLAs who have been camping in Guwahati hotel in Assam are expected to leave for Maharashtra to be present in the Assembly tomorrow morning. Earlier in the day, the rebel MLAs visited the Kamakhya temple and offered prayers. Eknath Shinde, the Shiv Sena MLA who is leading the rebel MLAs said that they will return to Mumbai tomorrow and take part in the floor test while following all protocols.

The floor test will be conducted at 11 AM tomorrow and is to be concluded by 5 PM the same day. This came after Devendra Fadnavis, leader of opposition in Maharashtra Assembly approached the Governor along with 8 Independent MLAs and demanded a floor test.

On Tuesday, CM Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the rebel MLAs to come for talks. This comes days after Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had threatened that the corpses of rebel MLAs would come to Mumbai instead. The Maharashtra crisis has reached the Supreme Court with plea filed by breakaway Shiv Sena group challenging disqualification proceedings against Shinde and 15 other rebel MLAs. The SC has deferred the disqualification till July 11.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has questioned the Governor’s move for the floor test. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi claimed the floor test was contempt of court since the disqualification of rebel MLAs has been deferred. Shinde, however, had said that the deferring of disqualification was a win for Hindutva of Balasaheb Thackeray and ideas of Anand Dighe.

Naveen Jindal gets threat of beheading hours after Udaipur incident from one Akbar Alam, had shared video of Kanhaiya Lal’s murder

Ex-BJP leader Naveen Jindal said on Wednesday that he got beheading threat with the video of Udaipur incident attached in an email from one Akbar Alam who threatened that he will come and cut his head off.

Jindal shared screenshots of the threatening email he received at 6:43 AM. In the same, one Akbar Alam had called Jindal a terrorist and said how next is his turn and he will come and slit his throat. In next mail sent a minute later, Akbar Alam had added more abuses and asked him to watch the video to see how his fate would be.

Both emails had the viral video of Udaipur Hindu man Kanhaiya Lal being beheaded by Islamists. Kanhaiyalal was beheaded after he had extended support to ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Sharma has been on the receiving end of death and rape threats since a month now after a clip from a Times Now debate where she asked her Muslim co-panelist if she could make fun of their God would be okay, the way Hindu gods were being mocked. During the course of the debate, she made some remarks on Prophet Muhammad which are stated in the Islamic scriptures. Islamist apologist website Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair had shared that particular portion calling names to Sharma, thereby instigating an online mob to send her threats.

Eventually, fatwas were issued and bounty announced on head of Sharma. After that, for over two weeks various violent incidents took place, especially after Jumma Namaz where Islamists called for Sharma’s beheading. In bengaluru, an effigy was hanged from a crane with Sharma’s photo, Taliban-style, to send out a message.

After Sharma’s debate, ex-BJP leader Naveen Jindal had also made some comments on Prophet Muhammad. Mohammed Zubair had also shared those screenshots and instigated an online mob against Jindal as well who has been getting threats since.

While BJP suspended Sharma and expelled Jindal, the threats against the two have not stopped. People who have been supporting the two have also been targeted and as we have seen, one man was beheaded for now supporting Sharma.

In a video message, Jindal has said that he has informed Delhi Police regarding the threats he received.

Kanhaiya Lal, a Hindu tailor, beheaded in Udaipur for supporting Nupur Sharma

On Tuesday, multiple videos had gone viral on social media where two Islamists can be seen going to Kanhaiya Lal’s shop pretending to be customers. When he was taking measurements, suddenly one of them attacked him with knives. Seconds later, he was lying dead in a pool of blood.

In another video released by the two men who were seen attacking Kanhaiya Lal in the video, they could be heard saying how they hoped their knife reaches the neck of PM Modi as well. “Oh Narendra Modi, listen, you’ve started the fire and will we extinguish it. I hope this knife reaches your neck as well, Inshallah. Oh, the people of Udaipur, chant, “Gustakh e Rasool ki Sazah, Sar tan see Juda (The one who insults Allah has the only Punishment, which is the separation of the head from the body), the assassins could be heard saying.

Following this incident, stone pelting was reported on police from ‘particular community’. Earlier, Islamists have taken to stone-pelting from places like mosques to protest against various things including Hindu processions on festivals. Right now, the internet has been suspended and section 144 has been put in place. The two men who killed Kanhaiya Lal have been arrested.

Naseeruddin Shah said threats against Nupur Sharma are “hollow threats” by empty vessels, Udaipur beheading proves they are anything but that

Following the Islamist outrage against former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma for her comments on Prophet Muhammad, Congress-aligned news channel NDTV had interviewed Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah for some reason, who tried his best to downplay the threat posed by his fellow Islamists.

During his interview with NDTV’s Nidhi Razdan, the Bollywood actor stated that those threatening Nupur Sharma are just “empty vessels” and these are just hollow threats. He also went on to dismiss any threat against Nupur Sharma by stating that the state will provide her with enough security.

However, the attempt by Naseeruddin Shah to downplay the threat by Islamists failed miserably as a couple of Islamists brutally beheaded a tailor in Udaipur just for posting a social media message in support of Nupur Sharma.

Beheading of a tailor in Udaipur by Islamists

Two Muslim men in Rajasthan’s Udaipur murdered a Hindu man, Kanhaiyya Lal, on Tuesday afternoon over his post in support of ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. In the videos that have emerged, the two men entered the tailor’s shop as customers and grabbed to behead him with a knife.

In the horrific crime that has emerged following the Nupur Sharma controversy, it has been learnt that the incident took place near the Bhoot Mahal on Maldas Street in Udaipur. The victim who is a tailor and proprietor of Supreme tailors was killed in broad daylight amidst the hustle-bustle on the adjoining road. The Udaipur Police rushed to the scene after the enraged merchants in the surrounding area complained of the inhumane incident.

Can Naseeruddin Shah Answer if it is still a hollow threat by empty vessels?

Not only did the Islamists behead the tailor in Udaipur for posting a message in support of Nupur Sharma, but they also urged fellow Muslims to behead anyone who dares to speak against Prophet Muhammad. In the light of this brutal daylight murder by Islamists, will Naseeruddin Shah be able to say again that the threats against Nupur Sharma are just hollow threats?

If someone is getting beheaded just for supporting Nupur Sharma, then we can only imagine the peril she is in. However, in his attempts to defend fellow Islamists, Naseeruddin Shah won’t be able to see that.

“Criminals have no caste”: Udaipur Collector whitewashes Islamists who beheaded Kanhaiya Lal for supporting Nupur Sharma

0

On Tuesday, Two Muslim men in Rajasthan’s Udaipur murdered a Hindu man, Kanhaiya Lal, over his post in support of ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After the gruesome incident happened in broad daylight, Udaipur’s district Collector, Tara Chand Meena has whitewashed the Islamist crime by saying ‘Criminals have no caste.”

While talking to news agency ANI, Tara Chand Meena said, “Criminals have no caste. The law is taking its course and the strictest action will be taken against the accused. Assistance will be provided to the victim’s family as much as possible. Action will be taken under the provisions which are there.”

Meena’s words have come at a time when two Islamists have killed a Hindu tailor, in his own shop, over a social media post. Their actions have been prompted after the victim earlier wrote a social media post in support of ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma whose comments on Prophet Mohammed were used by Mohammed Zubair of Alt News to dog-whistle Islamists. To deny a religious angle in the case, when it is openly reflected, is nothing but hard bigotry on the part of the Rajasthan Government official.

On the other hand, the collector attempted to whitewash the act of Islamists after they themselves have taken the responsibility of the same, in the name of ‘Allah’. Moreover, to say that ‘Criminals have no caste’ gives an impression that the crime has been committed by people belonging to a particular Hindu caste against a person belonging to another, and not by Islamists who were motivated to kill a “Kafir” for supporting a lady who made comments on Prophet Muhammad.

Punjab: AAP govt heeds Congress’ suggestion, vows to pass a resolution against Centre’s ban on Sidhu Moosewala’s contentious song

Two days after Youtube blocked the song ‘SYL’ by deceased Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on the directives of the Government of India, the Aam Aadmi Party had vowed to pass a resolution against the Centre in the Punjab legislative assembly.

As per reports, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Tuesday (June 28) that the Assembly will pass a resolution against the Centre’s ban on controversial singer Sidhu Moosewala’s last song on June 30.

Besides, resolutions will also be passed against the centralisation of Punjab University and the newly launched Agnipath scheme. All 3 resolutions will be taken on the last day of the ongoing monsoon session.

Similar demands were made by the Congress party, which found resonance with the Bhagwant Mann government.

Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira tweeted, “I’m happy to state that acting on our suggestions BhagwantMann govt is bringing resolutions to condemn centralization of PU, banning of SidhuMooseWala Syl song, withholding Twitter handles & erroneous Agnipath army scheme on the 30th in Vidhan Sabha.”

The resolution against the Agnipath scheme was also supported by the Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa. BJP MLA Ashwani Sharma had, however, opposed it.

Problematic lyrics of Sidhu MooseWala’s song

The song SYL was released four weeks after Moosewala’s murder. The problematic song has provocative lyrics and visuals. In the song, Moosewala talked about Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh to Punjab.

On November 1, 1966, post-independence Punjab was divided into three states, Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, on the basis of language. The song also goes on to warn that if there is no alternative way, then Balwinder Jattana will return.

Jattana was the terrorist who killed two senior engineers working on the SYL project in Chandigarh. Affiliated with Babbar Khalsa terrorist outfit, the Ropar resident Jattana killed Chief Engineer and the Superintending Engineer working on the SYL project in 1990.

Following the murders, the construction on SYL stopped as the terrorised engineers refused to continue working on it. Jattana was later killed in a police encounter in 1991.

In the text on-screen during the song, Sidhu Moosewala goes on to call the SYL canal the causative agent of the Congress-led pogrom of Sikhs in Delhi in 1984.

The flag hoisting at Red Fort by a Sikh mob on 2021 Republic Day also finds a place in the video of the song. The video also shows a bomb blast on an animated canal, pushing the idea that violence should be used to stop SYL.

Media outfits ‘secularise’ the brutal killing of Kanhaiya Lal after Islamists behead him over his post supporting Nupur Sharma

On June 28, a Hindu tailor was beheaded in broad daylight by two Muslim men in Udaipur’s Dhan Mandi area of Bhoot Mahal for putting social media status in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. While it is out in the open that two Muslim men entered the tailoring shop with swords and brutally beheaded the Hindu tailor, identified as Kanhaiya Lal, prominent media houses have once again tried to ‘secularise’ the heinous crime, since here too the perpetrators are Islamists and the victim, a Hindu.

After executing the murder, the two Islamists, who have identified themselves as Mohammed Riyaz Akhatari and another as Mohammed shared the video of the murder and even threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi while boasting about their murder.

While the Islamists have admitted guilt in the brutal murder of the Hindu man, mainstream media resorted to their standard practice of downplaying horrific crimes, since here too the accused are members of the minority community. The incident was covered by almost all media outlets, but most of them took care to craft the headlines so that it wasn’t immediately clear that the victim, in this case, was also a Hindu and the perpetrators were Islamists.

Leftist propaganda portal The Quint reported about the incident both on its English and Hindi websites but was very careful in wording the headlines. They made sure that it was not revealed that a Hindu man was killed by Islamists.

Ultra-Leftist portals like The Wire and Scroll, going by the propensity to ‘secularise’ a crime whenever the perpetrators are Islamists, purposely did not mention in their respective report’s headlines that the victim, in this case, was a Hindu and the perpetrators belonged to the Muslim community, brainwashed with the belief of killing anyone they perceived of insulting their faith and their prophet.

Interestingly, The Wire’s report mentions the names of the perpetrators in its excerpt but not in the headline. People giving a casual glance at the headline would obviously miss out on the fact that the accused here are Islamists.

India TV headlined its report on the beheading of the Hindu man by Islamists in Udaipur today: “Udaipur tailor beheaded for social media post in support of Nupur Sharma; CM appeals for peace”.

The words Financial Express used for the headline were also carefully chosen. Given that the accused in this case was a member of a minority group and the victim was a Hindu, the ambiguous headline was probably chosen on purpose to water down the heinous crime.

Likewise, many so-called secular mainstream media outlets, including some vernacular ones choose to not mention in the headline that the victim was a Hindu man and the perpetrators were Islamists.

After going through the headlines of the aforementioned reports, it is clear how media houses have a propensity to water down heinous crimes, especially when the accused belongs to the minority community. One wonders whether they would have done the same if the religious identities of the victim and the perpetrators were flipped.

Kanhaiya Lal was murdered by Islamists for sharing a social media post in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Nupur has been in the crosshairs of radical Islamists ever since Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair unleashed Islamists on her through his dog-whistling endangering her life, and even the life of those who stand up to support her.

The Udaipur Police have launched a probe in searching for the Islamists who beheaded Kanhaiya Lal in broad daylight in Udaipur today. The threats issued by them have horrified people living in the city. Moreover, their posts justifying their actions and call for death issued to the PM have disturbed the law and order situation in the state of Rajasthan.

Udaipur murder: Kanhaiya Lal, the Hindu man beheaded by Islamists, was earlier arrested by police over the Nupur Sharma post

Two Muslim men in Rajasthan’s Udaipur murdered a Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal, on Tuesday afternoon over his post in support of ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. It has been learnt now that the Udaipur Police had arrested Kanhaiya Lal over the said post, which was shared by his 8-year-old son from his mobile.

According to news reports, the eight-year-old son of the deceased victim Kanhaiya Lal had shared a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma from his mobile. However, after this, Kanhaiyalal was arrested by the Dhanmandi police station officials. He continued receiving death threats over the post after his release.

Scared of the threats, Kanhaiya Lal appealed to the police for protection but the police did not take him seriously. As reported by Nav Bharat Times, even after arresting Kanhaiyalal, the murderers were threatening to intimidate him and kill him. On this, Kanhaiyalal informed the Dhanmandi police station and requested security for him. Despite this, the police did not take the matter seriously.

On Tuesday, the Islamist assailants who have published videos claiming responsibility for their action found an opportunity to behead the tailor in the name of ‘Allah’. Had the Udaipur police provided security to Kanhaiyalal or addressed his concerns, that would have saved his life today.

The incident took place near the Bhoot Mahal on Maldas Street in Udaipur. The victim who is a tailor and proprietor of Supreme tailors was killed in broad daylight amidst the hustle-bustle on the adjoining road. After executing the murder, the 2 Islamists, who have identified themselves as Mohammed Riyaz Akhatari and another as Mohammed shared the video of the murder and even threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi while boasting about their murder.

According to the latest news, the two brutal killers were arrested from the neighbouring district of Rajsamand.

Islamists kill another Hindu man while journalists try to paint Mohammed Zubair, who triggered the Islamists, a victim

In a bloodcurdling incident, Islamists mercilessly hacked a Hindu man in Udaipur to death for his social media post supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, who was at the centre of a raging controversy after Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair dog whistled her for her comments on Prophet Muhammad.

The deceased, a Hindu man and a tailor by profession, had posted a social media post in solidarity with Nupur Sharma about ten days ago. Since then, he was at the receiving end of the Islamist wrath, receiving a constant stream of death threats for simply extending his support to a lady targeted by the extremists provoked by Mohammed Zubair.

The man also approached police and filed a complaint with them over the unending barrage of death threats he was receiving from the bloodthirsty mob of Islamists. Then, on Tuesday, enraged Muslim fundamentalists barged into his shop in broad daylight and inflicted several blows with a sharp weapon and slit his throat. The video of the attack has since surfaced online, where the assailants can be seen attacking the victim with sharp weapons.

Kanhaiyalal Teli, 40, was a tailor and owned a shop named Supreme Tailors near the Bhootmahal located in Dhanmandi. On Tuesday, two bike-borne miscreants stopped at his shop and entered inside. One after the other, they unleashed their murderous rage on Teli, attacking him with sharp weapons more than half a dozen times, leading to his death. Thereafter, the two miscreants fled away.

Hindu man’s murder in Udaipur by Islamists: A direct fallout of Mohammed Zubair’s dangerous dog-whistling against Nupur Sharma

With Teli’s murder, the Islamists extracted the first pound of flesh after being triggered by Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair, who sparked a raging controversy after sharing a truncated video of Nupur Sharma’s comments on Times Now debate and accused her of making derogatory remarks against the Islamic Prophet.

Before long, the controversy gained epic proportions and transcended national boundaries as Arab countries made unsolicited comments, causing a diplomatic nightmare for India’s mission in the Persian Gulf. Islamists took to the streets, running riot and indulging in vandalism, and arson against what they perceived as an insult to Prophet Muhammad. Protest marches calling for the beheading of Nupur Sharma were carried out as participants shouted “sar tan se juda” chants against Nupur Sharma. In one instance, her effigy was left hanging from a cable, reminding Hindus of the fate that awaits them should they dare cite authentic and reliable Islamic Hadiths to comment on Prophet Muhammad.

While Islamists went on a rampage on the streets in many cities across the country, it was essentially Mohammed Zubair who was responsible for kindling a fire that had gone on to assume uncontrollable proportions. It was Zubair’s dog-whistling that made a mountain out of a molehill and painted a target behind the back of Nupur Sharma and anyone and everyone who came out in her support.

And so, Teli was a marked man the moment he came out in support of Nupur Sharma. Islamists, provoked by Mohammed Zubair, dished out death threats to him for what they considered an unpardonable sin committed against Prophet. And days later, the Hindu man was killed for something as trivial as just sharing a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma.

Mohammed Zubair’s dig whistling against Nupur Sharma that unleashed a mob of Islamists against her makes him guilty of ‘stochastic terrorism’

Even though the Islamists on the ground were responsible for killing him, the buck does not stop there. They were puppets working at the behest of their masters, who were equally blameworthy for goading them into murdering Teli. In essence, Mohammed Zubair’s dog-whistling against Nupur Sharma instigated Islamists, who then went on to kill Teli for his support to the former BJP leader.

This makes Mohammed Zubair guilty of ‘stochastic terrorism’, a concept defined as the public demonisation of a person or group resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted. It was Mohammed Zubair who spearheaded a campaign against Nupur Sharma, accusing her of insulting the Prophet Muhammad and letting loose an army of Islamists against her that ultimately snuffed out the life of Teli.

The horrifying killing of the Udaipur tailor comes a day after Delhi Police arrested Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair for hurting religious sentiments. The police acted on the basis of a complaint filed against him by a Twitter user who cited the notorious fact-checker’s old tweet where he had a derogatory reference to Lord Hanuman.

‘Liberals’, ‘journalists’ try to paint Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair a victim of state oppression

No sooner did the news of Zubair’s arrest trickled out on social media, than the left-liberal cabal proceeded to paint him as a victim of state oppression. Leaning on misinformation and the belief in the potency of the left ecosystem to propagate lies, the ‘liberal’ commentariat alleged that Mohammed Zubair was arrested for exposing hate speech, cunningly concealing the fact he was arrested on the charges of hurting the religious sentiments through his disparaging tweets, which he deleted a few days ago.

However, this nugget of information was superfluous for the liberals, who are hellbent on branding Zubair as a victim of political vendetta, in an attempt to leverage his arrest to attack the Modi government and accuse them of being intolerant of “dissent”.

A raft of leftists lost their sleep over Zubair’s arrest, with many of those who were until a few days ago batting in favour of blasphemy law suddenly made a turnabout and held forth on how his arrest is an assault on the individual right of ‘Freedom of Expression’. Aspersions were raised on the identity of the complainant and the motivations of the Delhi Police to insinuate that the law enforcement agencies acted in malice and that Zubair’s arrest was a ploy to “suppress dissent”.

But Zubair’s “dissenting” views as the leftists would proclaim, have real-life consequences as manifested in the brutal murder of the Hindu man in Udaipur. The cold-blooded murder of a Hindu man is a direct result of the provocation that Mohammed Zubair touched off against Nupur Sharma for defending her faith in a news debate where a fellow panellist felt no qualms in deriding the Shivling discovered at the controversial Gyanvapi site.

Even as the ‘journalists’, opposition politicians, including Congress leaders, seek to exculpate Mohammed Zubair, what transpired at Udaipur, where Islamists ruthlessly murdered a Hindu man for extending his support to Nupur Sharma, is a reflection of the dangerous fallout of the Alt News co-founder’s dog-whistling antics.

Islamists who beheaded a tailor for writing a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma arrested, had asked Muslims to behead others in a pre-recorded message

Two Islamists who had brutally beheaded a tailor in Udaipur for posting a social media message in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma have been arrested. The brutal killers were arrested from the neighbouring district of Rajsamand.

Earlier on Tuesday, 28th of June, the two Muslim men in Rajasthan’s Udaipur murdered a Hindu man, Kanhaiyya Lal, on over his post in support of ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

In a video recorded on 17th June, one of the killers urged Muslims to behead others who ‘defame’ Prophet Muhammad

In a video recorded on Friday, 17th of June, one of the murderers, Mohammed Riyaz Akhatari, can be heard saying that he will make the video viral on the day he will behead those who speak against Prophet Muhammad. Akhtari goes on to say that even though he is starting this trend of beheading people, other Muslims should take it forward and behead others who speak against the Prophet.

He also asked fellow Muslims not to worry about their families and businesses, as he himself is also doing a job but is only alive for the Prophet. Akhtari urged Muslims to behead others in the name of Allah after his beheading act. Saying that death is only a step to Jannat, he kept urging Muslims to remove the heads of people.

He also condemned those who were not willing to commit murders in the name of Prophet Muhammad, offering them bangles as a symbol of their weakness.
