Arrested JeM terrorist confesses of conducting recce at the office of NSA Ajit Doval in 2019, sent videos to his Pakistani commander

0

A Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist, Hidayat-Ullah Malik, arrested on February 6, has confessed that he had carried out reconnaissance at the office of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and several other locations in 2019 and had shared the video clips with his commander in Pakistan.

During interrogation, Malik also revealed how he had taken a flight from Srinagar to Delhi on May 24, 2019 and recorded a video of Doval’s office including the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) security detail there. He said that he had passed it on to his Pakistani commander, whom they referred to as Doctor, through WhatsApp.

A senior Jammu police official, privy to the case, confirmed that the security officials recovered video clip of the office of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and several other top locations in the national capital from the phone of an arrested Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist.

Following this input, the security at the office of the NSA has been heightened.

According to reports, Hidayat-Ullah Malik also confessed during his interrogation that he had conducted recce of the Samba sector border area in mid 2019, along with Sameer Ahmad Dar, who was arrested by NIA in January last year for his involvement with the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.

The Jaish operator also disclosed names, code names, and phone numbers of 10 of his contacts in Pakistan, including the handler, the information of which has been passed on to the security agencies.

The dreaded JeM terrorist Hidayat-Ullah Malik, who is a resident of Shopian, was arrested by the security agencies from Anantnag on February 6 and charged under several sections of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act at the Gangayal police station in Jammu. Malik is the chief of a Jaish front group, Lashkar-e-Mustafa. Police also recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.

Malik joined the Hizbul Mujahideen on July 31, 2019. He worked as an over-ground worker for the Jaish before that. Malik again shifted to Jaish in February 2020 and raised a front group in August that year.

According to Hindustan Times, the JeM terrorist had provided a car (Hyundai Santro) for a suicide attack in May 2020. He also confessed that he and three other Jaish terrorists, namely Irfan Thokar, Umar Mushtaq and Rayees Mustafa, had looted Rs 60 lakh from a Jammu and Kashimir Bank’s cash van in Shopian in November 2020.

Mumbai police hunt for ‘Irfan’, say Navy sailor was not abducted from Chennai airport, but have no idea how he reached Palghar

0

Days after a 27-year-old Navy sailor named Suraj Kumar Dubey succumbed to his burn injuries, the Palghar police have begun the hunt for a man named ‘Irfan’. Dubey, a resident of Ranchi in Jharkhand, was abducted and set ablaze in Vevji village in Talasari Taluka in Palghar near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.

As per reports, a missing complaint was filed by the deceased’s father Mithilesh Dubey with the Chainpur police on February 1. The police had been monitoring the two mobile phones of Suraj Kumar Dubey and got alerted when a SIM card was inserted into them. The deceased’s cousin Vishal informed that the murderers deleted his Whatsapp or changed the settings such as the ‘last seen’ on his Whatsapp became unavailable. On dialling the number, a person named ‘Irfan’ picked up the phone. He then disconnected and switched off the cell phone.

Mithilesh stated, “That was my son’s voice. He sounded petrified. He might have been trying to tell us that he is held captive by Irfan. The police must find out who is Irfan.” Dubey’s parents are of the belief that it was their son trying to give them a signal. However, CCTV footage of the crime spot has not thrown any clues for the police. “No suspected named Irfan has been identified. Our investigations are on in full swing”, Palghar SP Shinde said.

Suraj Dubey was not abducted from Chennai airport, alleges Palghar police

The Palghar police have alleged that Navy sailor Suraj Dubey was not abducted from Chennai, as previously stated. The cops stated that the victim was seen roaming the streets of Chennai. While speaking about the development, Palghar SP Datta Shinde claimed, “Dubey was not kidnapped outside Chennai airport; in fact, he was roaming freely outside Chennai airport, Metro station and a bus stand in the city. So, it will not be true to say that he was kidnapped just outside Chennai airport.”

Cops remain clueless about how Navy Sailor reached Mumbai

According to Shinde, the deceased Navy sailor was seen with his bag in some footage and without his red-coloured bag in other places. He was also seen withdrawing  ₹5000 from an ATM on February 1. The police concluded that Suraj Dubey was not kidnapped outside Chennai airport as he said in his testimony. The cops are however clueless as to how the Navy sailor reached Mumbai from Chennai, before ending up in a burnt state in Palghar forest. The cops are checking for booking details of airlines and Indian Railways to ascertain if he reached Mumbai via flight or railways.

The Palghar SP added, “We have recovered footage from around six CCTV cameras and have concluded that he was not kidnapped just outside the Chennai airport as he claimed.” Although the cops have claimed that they have sent forensic evidence from the crime scene to the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory (DFSL) in Kalina, Midday reported that the forensic body did not receive samples that could help determine the inflammable fluid used to burn the victim.

Suraj Dubey murder case: What we know so far

A case was registered against 3 unidentified people at the Gholwad police station under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 34 (acts done in furtherance of common intention), 302 (murder), 364 (kidnapping), and 392 (robbery). The police had initiated a probe in the case and began investigating how the Navy sailor was taken 1500kms away to a forest in Palghar from Chennai. The cops also analysed mobile call records and CCTV footage to get leads on the culprits.

Dubey had recently got engaged and was to be married in about three months’ time. He worked as a seaman at INS Agrani training school in Coimbatore. The victim, who was on a leave, had returned to Chennai on January 31 via a flight. At around 9 pm, the Navy sailor was threatened by three people with a revolver and his cellphone was snatched away. As per his claims, the unidentified men then forced Dubey into a white SUV and asked him to pay ₹10 lacs as ransom.

He was kept hostage at an unknown location in Chennai. After being detained there for 3 days, the Navy official was taken to a forest in Vevji village in Talasari Taluka in Palghar near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border on Friday (February 5) morning. He was doused with petrol and set ablaze by the three perpetrators. Dube suffered 90% burn injuries as he lay without clothes in the forest. On finding him naked, the locals informed the Vevji police station. Dubey was then admitted to a hospital in Dahanu, where his condition continued to worsen. He was rushed to the military hospital INHS Asvini and was declared dead on arrival.

Times of India criticises ‘Putinist model’ to pull India down, apologises to Russia for disrespecting their national symbol: Details

On Saturday, the Times of India issued an apology to Russia after the Russian Ambassador to India slammed the media group for disrespecting country’s symbols and flags in one of their reports.

Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev had written a scathing letter to Times of India expressing disappointment over an objectionable depiction of Russian national symbols in one of its recently published article.

In a letter written to Times of India’s Chief Editor Jaideep Bose, HE Nikolay Kudashev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India, said that he was deeply disappointed with the media group for publishing a report that is nothing but fake news and biased attitudes towards Russia that are widely spread in the West.

A report was published by Times of India on February 11, titled “Does Soft Power Matter?”, that had hailed a Russian rebel leader. The author had made some assertions based on Western media reports claiming that Alexei Navalny took on the Russian state power with an act of ‘extraordinary chutzpah’.

In the article, the author Swagato Ganguly had claimed that Navalny was poisoned by Russian spy agencies. The article had also said that India is being influenced by the Putinist model, which according to him was giving preference to unity over diversity and pluralism, including abridging of NGOs and media is abridged and seeing ‘dissent and disagreement as ‘anti-national’.

Deeply disappointment with the depiction of Russian symbols, fake news on Russia, says Russian Ambassador

Responding to the article published by Times of India, the Russian Ambassador said that with deep disappointment they have noticed the way the Russian national symbols — the flag and coat of arms — were objectionably depicted in the article.

The letter read, “More to say, we were perplexed with the way the author of the article sees the essence of soft power, not to mention the fact that the paper is full of reprinted fake news and biased attitudes towards Russia, which are widely spread in the West.”

“When someone appeals in social media to go to streets, disseminate fakes provoking chaos and clashes with the security forces, it is called differently — coup d’etat attempt. And, for sure, such a person can not be considered as a reliable source of information for an article, especially when it comes to the matters of slandering the leader of the country, who is in fact widely respected not only in Russia but also here in India and other friendly and like-minded countries.”

Following the letter by the Russian Ambassador, the Times of India’s Editor has issued an apology for the hurt caused by the illustration.

Apology added to the article by Times of India

He added that there was no intention to disrespect the national symbols of Russia and claimed that they publish a wide range of independent views.

Instead of fixing security issues on their website, Congress threatens legal action for pointing out the vulnerabilities

Days after the Congress party was found leaking data of people applying to work in its social media cell, the party has decided to go after those who had pointed out the flaws in its website. The party has also claimed that there have been “illegal attempts” to access their data, the threatened stern legal actions against the “culprits”.

It was stated in a tweet by Saral Patel, the national convenor of the Social Media Department of the Congress party. He said that they have “identified the people involved, & will legal actions will be initiated shortly”.

Patel also claimed the success of the Join Congress Social Media campaign has rattled BJP and ‘their troll armies to the core’, accusing the person who had exposed the issue with their website to be a BJP troll.

Gaurav Pandhi, the National Coordinator oif the Digital Communications & Social Media cell of the Congress party also made similar claims. He said that attempts have been made to illegally access Congress party’s Social Media Campaign data, adding that it was old data limited to two states. He claimed that they have traced and identified the people behind the “hack”, and they are filing a legal complaint against them.

The incident relates to the data of people who had applied to work for the party, which was found to kept unprotected in a website created specifically for the ambitious project of recruiting 5 lakh social media warriors. One social media user who goes by the ID @rsgovin had exposed a serious vulnerability with the website, which allowed anyone to access the data of people who had filled the online form on the site to become a social media warrior. He had posted several screenshots, showing how the Congress IT cell failed to deploy any security measures on the site, which allowed the data of applicants to be publicly accessible.

He had showed how the all the details entered by applicants on the website, including their social media IDs, email IDs, addresses, mobile numbers, passwords, voter ID details and all other details were could be easily accesses without even required administrative access to the site. It was also revealed that the passwords are stored in plain text format. This means, if these details are obtained by anti-social elements, the social media and email accounts of some of the applicants also can be at risk, considering that many people use same password on multiple platforms.

Not just applicants, the website also kept the office bearers of social media cell, including those taking interviews for new applicants, in an unsafe manner, and @rsgovin was able to access their sensitive personal details also.

However, after caught keeping the personal and sensitive data on the applicants in an unsecure manner, now the Congress party has decided to go after the messenger, instead of fixing the problem. While the Congress social media national convenor claimed there were illegal attempts to access their data, the fact is, the data was kept unsafe on their website, and no hacking was needed to access the data.

The exposer @rsgovin just used some custom queries to download all the data. It does not require any backdoor entry, any hacking, use of any malicious malware to gain access to the website. In other words, the Congress party had kept the door unbolted, and when @rsgovin pointed that out, the party is falsely accusing him of breaking into the house.

It is also notable that while exposing the issue, @rsgovin masked the sensitive information of people on the screenshots, and asked the Congress party to fix the website. With this, he acted in a very responsible manner. He acted as an ethical hacker who test software programs to detect vulnerabilities. Major zero-day vulnerabilities are detected by such ethical hackers, and IT companies actually pay such people to find loopholes in their software, in order to make them secure. But instead of thanking @rsgovin for helping them in making their platform more secure, the Congress party is threatening legal action against him, labelling him a BJP troll.

Global media mocked India even as ‘Cuomosexual liberals’ undercounted thousands of Covid deaths under the nose of New York Times

Do you know what it means to be “Cuomosexual”? Before you go educate yourselves about this new form of gender identity for fear of being cancelled, let me tell you it isn’t like that. But all the woke kids are doing it anyway.

Meet Trevor Noah, host of the Daily Show. The other day, he posted a withering critique of how India is handling the so-called farmer protests. The other thing, Trevor is a self-confessed “Cuomosexual.” No, this is not an attack on his gender identity. This is an attack on his intellectual dishonesty. And how Trevor and the rest of global liberal media chose partisan boot-licking over the lives of human beings.

I will explain. First, remember this screaming New York Times headline from August last year?

New York Times article

Good job, New York Times. Good job rubbing it into the faces of the brown-skinned people of a formerly colonized country. Without your amazing journalism, how would we know how bad our lives are? We are poor, we have weak healthcare systems, rampant corruption and a Hindu nationalist government, the last one being the worst of all. Over there in China, your newspaper calls it ‘patriotism.’ Over here in India, you call it ‘nationalism.’ Because Americans love the word ‘patriotism’ but think that ‘nationalism’ is associated with Hitler. Make it easy for you to demonize us that way.

So tell us New York Times, around the same time last year, how were things going under your nose?

New York Post article

Andrew Cuomo is the ‘liberal’ governor of the state of New York. And his top aide just admitted, on tape, on a conference call with fellow members of Cuomo’s Democratic party, that they covered up thousands of Covid deaths of nursing home patients.

And I literally mean thousands. They admitted 8711 Covid deaths of nursing home patients, when the real number is at least 15049 that we (now) know of. That is not too far from at least half of all Covid deaths being covered up.

And what was the motivation for this cover up? Listen to the damning confession from the governor’s aide:

” “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.

He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”

In addition to attacking Cuomo’s fellow Democratic governors, DeRosa said, Trump “directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us.”

“And basically, we froze,” she told the lawmakers on the call.”

They were worried that the federal authorities under President Trump might start an investigation if they revealed the real numbers. They were worried that the real numbers would allow Trump to attack Cuomo and other liberal governors everywhere from New Jersey to Michigan to California. With the election in two months, this would be bad for their party. And so, like any good banana republic, the liberals in charge of New York decided to “freeze” the data.

Dear New York Times, this happened right under your nose. While you were busy mocking and kicking India for our plight.

Trump is no longer in office. Biden is from their own party. Now, there is nothing to fear from federal agencies under him. And so, the “liberals” come out with the facts. By the way, the liberals apologized, but not to the families of the thousands of victims whose deaths they covered up. They apologized to fellow liberal politicians in their own party for making them uncomfortable against opposition attacks.

Dear New York Times, how close are you to being the official mouthpiece of the liberals who run the world’s most powerful banana republic?

Remember how the BBC wanted to know if India is hiding Covid deaths?

BBC article

Same month of August, by the way, when New York liberals were covering up dead bodies to win an election. I have drawn a simple schematic diagram to help the BBC understand its mistake.

A schematic diagram to help the BBC understand its mistake.

So, what’s ‘Cuomosexual,’ by the way? Even as liberals were tearing India apart with their “investigative” journalism, their cheerleaders were egging on the good work of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Apparently, his daily briefings on the Coronavirus were so informative that a number of people in media and American liberal intelligentsia decided to label themselves “Cuomosexuals.” In other words, they were turned on by Cuomo’s press conferences. Watch Governor Cuomo soak in the adulation.

Indeed, the first question from the interviewer was : “Can I say that I am Cuomosexual?” You can click the link and check it. I am not making this up.

Yes, folks, this is what hard-hitting journalism looks like when a white liberal comes face to face with a white liberal politician. Now imagine the kinds of questions that global liberals have for us brown-skinned Indians.

Do you know what else Cuomo did? He sent 9000 ‘recovering’ Coronavirus patients into New York nursing homes. Not fully recovered patients who might have then infected the others in those nursing homes. You know, already sick people, elderly people, the ones most likely to die from Covid. Imagine the blatant disregard for human life.

And don’t forget the smiles of American liberal media as they declare themselves ‘Cuomosexual.’ Their fingers are all pointed at India. Why use water cannon? Getting water out of your clothes can be such a pain.

In fact, Cuomo’s press conferences became such a big hit that they gave him an Emmy award! Again, I’m not making this up. Look at the smugness as Andrew Cuomo touts his award winning leadership on CNN.

The anchor doing the interview? That’s CNN’s top primetime host Chris Cuomo. Yes, same last name as NY Governor Andrew Cuomo. They are in fact, brothers. Same dad. Same mom. Thankfully, Chris did not tell brother Andrew whether he was feeling ‘Cuomosexual.’ That would have been just plain weird.

That’s CNN if you are a rich, white privileged liberal. If you are an Indian Hindu, that’s entirely different.

Bully the Indians. Grovel before the Chinese. And declare yourself ‘Cuomosexual’ in front of white American liberals. That’s wokeness in a nutshell. The New York Times and all their friends were busy busting India’s handling of the Coronavirus, while their liberal gods back home were covering up dead bodies to win an election. Right under its nose, the New York Times could not see the suffering of their own people. The ‘Cuomosexuals’ were far too turned on by their liberal governor and fantasies of poverty porn in India. Let that sink in.

You know who paid the price here? The common people of New York. The thousands of victims whose deaths were covered up. And their families. The thousands of “recovering” patients who were sent into nursing homes and the thousands more who contracted the virus from them. Yes, common people everywhere bear the brunt of wokeness and liberalism. That’s why nobody cares about the 28,000 political murders under Left rule in Bengal between 1977 and 1996. But ever since 2014, darr ka mahaul hai…

As outrage over brutal murder of Rinku Sharma grows, Bajrang Dal and VHP decide to organise events to pay tribute in 2500 places across India

0

Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma’s merciless killing sent shockwaves throughout the country. Except for a handful, most people have come out to condemn the act of savagery by a frenzied Muslim mob, who wreaked vengeance on the 25-year-old youth, simply because Rinku Sharma was a part of the donation drive that was carried out by Bajrang Dal for contributing towards the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Following the brutal murder of one of their activists, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) unit of Delhi along with Bajrang Dal announced that they would be organising programs in 2500 places across the country to pay tribute to Rinku Sharma, for which, a memorandum would be sent to the President of India. Vishwa Hindu Parishad took to its official Twitter handle to announce the same.

The rage over the gory murder of the Hindu youth in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area has been proliferating. Yesterday, locals of Mangolpuri, the neighbourhood where Rinku lived carried out a candlelight march, demanding justice for him and strict action against the perpetrators.

A group of Bajrang Dal activists and VHP members had gone to Mangolpuri, yesterday, to pay condolences to the grief-stricken family of the deceased. While speaking to VHP joint general secretary and Bajrang Dal national head Surendra Jain, the inconsolable mother of the deceased recounted how when her son was in the hospital, breathing his last, he kept asking the doctors to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

Bajrang Dal national head Surendra Jain assured the family that the culprits are now on Bajrang Dal’s blacklist. Claiming to have all the CCTV footages, Jain told the family that the culprits would have to pay for their deeds.

He castigated the police administration for the impassivity shown in handling Rinku Sharma’s case. “Had the police authorities carried out a timely investigation, Rinku would be alive”, said Jain.

It is pertinent to note that soon after the murder, the Delhi Police had said that there was no ‘communal angle‘ to the murder. Various mainstream media reports had also suggested that Rinku Sharma’s death was due to a birthday party and business-related dispute.

However, speaking to OpIndia, Rinku Sharma’s brother and mother rejected Delhi police and media reports claims. The family attested that Rinku Sharma was murdered by Islamists because he chanted Jai Shree Ram and was collecting funds for Ram Mandir. “The story about the business dispute is false. I am requesting the media portals to stop spreading rumours about the incident”, said Rinku’s brother to OpIndia.

Today, the Rinku Sharma murder case has been transferred to the Crime Branch after questions were raised regarding the investigation by the Delhi Police and their initial assessment of the case.

While China built high-speed rail track, Indian liberals blocked highways around Delhi: Here is how the economy is a national security issue

At long last, we hear of a thaw in the bitter India-China standoff that began last April in Eastern Ladakh. If we want, we can breathe a temporary sigh of relief.

But how much relief? China remains dominant, untrustworthy and likely to strike at the next possible opportunity. We lost 20 precious lives at the Galwan valley clash in June last year. At almost any time, this could happen again, anywhere along the LAC. Not to mention that China remains firmly in control of thousands of square kilometres of Indian territory. It is reinforcing positions it has held since 1959 by building entire new settlements. It is building huge networks of road and rail on their side of the LAC. Note that if China has moved over two hundred tanks out of Pangong Tso in just two days, this means they can also deploy two hundred tanks at Pangong Tso on a two-day notice.

The Chinese aren’t just bullying India. They are bullying every other power, big or small. In fact, China has borders with just 14 countries, but has managed to figure out “territorial disputes” with 17 countries! Last year a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson warned the “Five eyes” alliance that their eyes will be plucked out. The five countries in question were the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and … you guessed it … the United States of America!

Where is this fire in China’s belly coming from? Who would dare to warn the US military that their eyes will be plucked out? The firepower of the PLA is really only part of this.

Everyone knows that China’s real strength is its economy. The Chinese know how to use this strength both on the battlefield and within the borders of their enemies. The past year should have been one in which the whole world pointed fingers at the Chinese government for covering up the Coronavirus, thus unleashing this pandemic upon the world.

That’s the farthest thing from what really happened. The Chinese got as many as 15 countries, accounting for nearly 30% of global GDP, to sign up for their Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP. Let alone blaming the Chinese government for its actions, everyone agreed to make an exception to the norm of naming diseases after their places of origin, such as MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) or the New Delhi ‘superbug’ NDM-1. Even President Trump, not normally known for moderating his words, stopped saying “China virus.” Such was the dominance of China in global affairs.

It is time for us to realize something. The economy is a national security issue.

Think about 2020. China was the only major economy to report positive GDP growth. In 2020, China went ahead with its plans to build 2000 km of high-speed railway track.

Meanwhile, our bullet train project is stuck in political and bureaucratic egos. While we fiddle, China builds thousands of kilometres of high-speed rail track. And imagine how much China laughed at us when at the end of 2020, professional agitators brought in people to choke the highways around Delhi. All for a simple reform that everyone used to support until yesterday. But then somebody went ahead and did it and now everyone else has to oppose this just for the sake of the opposing.

And soon enough, these professional agitators were opening up old wounds of Hindu-Sikh divide. And opening a whole new chapter of caste politics. Not to mention demonizing private enterprise with all the fiery rhetoric of a hard socialist from the 1950s. Who is the real winner here?

Just imagine how much China laughed at us when rioters stormed the Red Fort on Republic Day and raised another flag on it!

Okay, so we are a democracy. We can’t be China. But what return are we getting for all this tolerance? Is the world at least seeing the good in us? It’s a fantasy that many of us have in India. The so-called ‘free’ world will see us as one of their own. Not a match to the economic or military might of China, but certainly the one with the moral high ground. Is that happening?

Not a chance! On the contrary, the western media is saturated with propaganda about what a bad, evil and fascist nation India is supposed to have become. Million-dollar influencers are raising global ‘awareness’ against the Indian ‘regime.’ The Prime Minister of Canada has taken a personal interest in leading a global defamation campaign against India. It isn’t just the so-called farmers’ protest. It happened during the abrogation of Article 370, the anti-CAA agitation and then the anti-CAA riots. They labelled India an “occupier” in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. This happened exactly at the time China was preparing to intervene in Ladakh. Pure coincidence, I am sure. The Chinese just got lucky.

Meanwhile, China continues to rake in the good press. A recent New York Times article lavishes praise on the alleged Chinese “patriotism” for bringing the country roaring out of the Covid crisis.

In the West, “nationalism” is a bad word. They tend to associate it with Hitler. That’s why an Indian speaking up for their country is labelled as a dreaded “nationalist.” When the Chinese do it, it’s called “patriotism.” Because Americans like that word.

Yesterday, the Chinese went ahead and placed an outright ban on the BBC. Be rest assured that the BBC, the Guardian, the New York Times and the Washington Post will find more and more ways to praise Chinese “patriotism.” The worse China treats the global liberal media, the more they grovel.

No such consideration for India. The “liberals” can even storm our Red Fort on Republic Day and come out boldly playing the victim. The Indian state is “fascist” even for letting police jump into a ditch to save their lives when liberals came stomping in on their big machines. No matter how much we turn the other cheek, we are always the fascists.

The clock keeps ticking. We are winning neither the economic race nor the moral argument.

‘Attackers chased us on our way to the hospital, he was attacked there again’: Murdered Rinku Sharma’s brother

0

Manu Sharma, the brother of the murdered Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma, has claimed that the attackers did not even spare the family while they were taking the mortally injured Rinku to the hospital. Manu said the family was chased on their way to the hospital and Rinku was stabbed again at the hospital.

According to the brother of the deceased, Tasuddin was the main culprit and he was the one who attacked them at the hospital.

“We were chased on our way to the hospital. When we were trying to prise out the knife from Rinku’s back, the attackers attacked him yet again. Tasuddin was the main accused. He was the one who led the attack on us at the hospital and tried to block us from getting Rinku urgent medical attention,” Manu lamented while speaking on Republic Bharat.

Hours after Delhi Police attributed the horrifying murder of Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma to a party brawl and ruled out the communal angle, the brother of the deceased rejected their claims and contended that his brother was killed for being associated with the Ram Mandir initiative and was seeking donations for the temple.

Speaking to Republic Bharat, Manu Sharma, the brother of the slain Bajrang Dal activist, said, “Police chalked up the attack to a party brawl but the assailants were not invited to the party. The only reason for their quarrel with us was because of our association with the Ram Mandir initiative and our participation in the donation drive under the Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan.”

Manu further claimed that the family used to organise Hanuman Chalisa every week and had taken out a procession in support of the construction of the Ram Mandir on August 5 which was opposed by the accused.

Investigation of Sharma’s murder transferred from Delhi Police to Crime Branch

Two days after the brutal murder of Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma in Delhi, the Delhi Police on Saturday decided to transfer the Mangolpuri murder case to the crime branch after questions were raised regarding the investigation and their initial assessment of the case. Till now, Mangolpuri police officials were investigating the Rinku Sharma murder case.

It is pertinent to note that the case was transferred to the Crime Branch after the Delhi Police had asserted that there was no ‘communal angle‘ to the murder even though the family had said that Rinku Sharma was murdered by Islamists because he chanted Jai Shri Ram and was collecting funds for Ram Mandir.

Murderers of Rinku Sharma tried to set the gas cylinder kept in the kitchen on fire

Chilling details of the bloodcurdling murder of Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma have been coming out for the last couple of days. A mob had entered the residence of Rinku Sharma and had attacked the entire family.

It is now being reported that the murderers of the Rinku Sharma had reportedly tried to burn his whole family. According to Jagran, Rinku’s mother Radha alleged that the mob that hacked her son to death barged into their house and tried to set ablaze the gas cylinder kept in the kitchen.

Rinku Sharma’ brutal murder by a Muslim mob

25-year old Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma was stabbed to death by a mob on February 10. The incident has terrorised the Hindu residents of Mangolpuri, a Muslim dominated area where Rinku lived with his family. According to reports, the incident was a fallout of the argument that had taken place between Rinku Sharma and his murderers over the collection of funds for the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya. The dispute was, however, resolved at that time.

It is reported that Rinku Sharma had even donated blood one and a half years ago to the wife of one of his attackers when she was pregnant and was in critical condition. He donated blood to her twice. Rinku had even helped Shakuru, brother of Islam who attacked Rinku, get admitted to a hospital after he was infected with Covid-19.

Temple trust has raised Rs 1,511 crore for construction of Ayodhya’s Bhavya Ram Mandir so far: Trust treasurer

0

An amount of Rs 1,511 crore has been deposited in the account of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya so far, ANI quoted trust treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri on Friday as saying.

“For the construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the whole nation is donating funds. We aim to reach 4 lakh villages and 11 crore families across the country during our donation drive. We are conducting the donation drive from January 15 and it will continue till Feb 27. I am here in Surat as part of the drive. People are contributing to the trust. After 492 years, people have got such an opportunity again to do something for the Dharma,” Giri told ANI.

“Till now, Rs 1,511 has been deposited in the account of Trust for the construction of Ram Mandir,” he added.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust which is overlooking the construction of the Ram Mandir in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, launched a mass contact and contribution campaign, the ‘Shri Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan’, for the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya, on January 15. Nearly 1.50 lakh VHP activists have been collecting funds under the ‘Shri Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan’ drive. Thirty-seven activists have been deputed to deposit the donations in the three nationalised bank accounts of the trust.

The Ram temple trust has opened accounts in the State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and the Bank of Baroda. From remote villages, the Hindu organisation activists are bringing funds and depositing in the bank accounts. The find collection drive will go on till February 27. While the fund collection drive has seen massive participation from Hindus, many VHP and Bajrang Dal activists are being brutally attacked, assaulted and even killed for being a part of this campaign.

From Kalki Avatar to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj: Pakistani media discusses PM Modi’s beard

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, a Pakistani astrologer is seen making bizarre conclusions about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The show was aired on Neo TV Network on December 31 last year but has now gone viral.

“Modi is having a bad time since November 2019. One of the primary astrologers of Narendra Modi is the founding father (of BJP). His name is Murali Manohar Joshi. He runs an astrology Bootcamp for the entire team,” the astrologer claimed even though Joshi was a physics professor and not an astrologer. This, however, did not stop the man from making more outlandish claims about PM Modi.

He said that the Indian Prime Minister was deliberately not trimming his beard, cutting hair and actively undertaking ‘havans’ to achieve the dream of ‘Akhand Bharat’, and being the No.1 leader and the avatar of ‘Kalki’. Rattled by India’s plans, the astrologer hoped that PM Modi did not succeed in his plans of creating ‘Akhand Bharat’.

In another undated video shared by Pakistani commentator and journalist Naila Inayat, a Pakistani commentator can be heard saying, “You must have seen that PM Modi has grown his beard and moustache. The purpose is to resemble the Maratha hero (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). This is the same ruler who fought against Aurangzeb. Modi is trying to imitate him. This is a continuing process and may allude to misadventures in order to build his strong image.”

Shashi Tharoor, Barkha Dutt discuss PM Modi’s ‘communal’ beard

Back home in India, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and senior journalist Barkha Dutt had a long discussion about the beard grown by Prime Minister Modi in August last year.

“Mr Modi allows his beard to grow. Ever since the judgement you’ve noticed he is not trimming his beard. It is getting longer and longer. He is coming there looking like some sort of Rishi Raj like state king in saffron robes,” he had said. Barkha Dutt intervened that how imagery was all part of politics. “Your persona, your signalling, your messaging, it is part of it,” she said. To this, Tharoor replied that PM Modi wore every type of headgear presented to him “except the Muslim skull cap”.

When Dutt asked him what his problem with the beard was, he said the beard was all about giving the ‘Rishi Raj’ appearance. “Beard was done to give this ‘Rishi Raj’ appearance about the holy man who is also the king. The sage who is also the warrior. That is the image that is being conveyed,” he said.
