MNS puts up poster outside CM Uddhav Thackeray’s house demanding expulsion of Pakistani and Bangladeshi infiltrators from his ‘own backyard’ Bandra

After teetering around the periphery of political oblivion for some time, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has shown unprecedented alacrity in staking a claim at the Hindu Nationalist space in Maharashtra that was vacated by Shiv Sena on the account of their new ‘secular-liberal’ alliance with Congress and NCP to form a government in the state.

The Raj Thackeray-led party has doubled down on its strategy of cornering the Uddhav Thackeray government on the issue of pervasive illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and Pakistan in Maharashtra.

The workers of MNS today put up a poster outside Matoshree, the residence of CM Uddhav Thackeray, seeking to evict Muslim immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh from the colonies which have cropped up in CM’s own area-Bandra. “Bangladeshi and Pakistani infiltrators need to be evicted from India. If this is your stand, then you need to clean up these colonies of infiltrators which have cropped up in your own backyard in Bandra first,” the poster read.

MNS is set to organise a massive rally on upcoming Sunday, February 9, against the illegal immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh residing in Mumbai. Last month, firebrand politician Raj Thackeray had announced about the rally while launching an offensive against the illegal immigrants. “India needs to intensify its security even if it means people are inconvenienced. We are a ticking bomb. It is important to throw out Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh and for this, I am with Prime Minister Modi,” he had said.

Recently, the MNS had also put up flags in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, asking Pakistani and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants to leave or get evicted “MNS-style”.

Sena, however, has been maintaining that they do not see MNS’ new avatar as a threat. In an earlier Saamana editorial, Shiv Sena had stated that Raj Thackeray should stay firm with Hindutva, even if it has been borrowed from Shiv Sena. They added that MNS is unlikely to get any political leverage from it as Shiv Sena had never shed their “saffron colour.”

How pro-Islamist lobby is whitewashing threat by Omar Abdullah of Kashmir breaking away from India by attacking PM Modi

Ever since the abrogation of Article 370, the pro-Islamist lobby has been gunning for Prime Minister Modi with the most despicable lies and propaganda. Several pro-Islamist Indian journalists took it upon themselves to defame India internationally, while others, habitually peddle lies through proxy websites and social media to tarnish the image of India after the Modi government decided to abrogate Article 370 and finally, fully integrate the new Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India.

The pro-Islamist lobby has now found a new way to hit-out at PM Modi, albeit, with lies and deceit.

In the parliament yesterday, Prime Minister Modi hit out at Kashmir politicians like Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti for their threats prior to the abrogation of Article 370. Prime Minister Modi in parliament first quoted Mehbooba Mufti.

Read: Jammu and Kashmir: NC’s Omar Abdullah and PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti booked under Public Safety Act

PM Modi quoted a tweetstorm by Mehmooba Mufti on the 5th of August, the day Article 370 was abrogated. Specifically, PM Modi referred to this tweet where Mehbooba Mufti had questioned what Kashmir got for “choosing India”.

Then, PM Modi referred to Omar Abdullah and said Omar had said, “आर्टिकल 370 को हटाना ऐसा भूकंप लाएगा की कश्मीर भारत से अलग हो जायेगा (The abrogation of Article 370 would bring a massive earthquake that it will divide Kashmir from India.)”.

Before we get into how the propagandists are now trying to twist PM Modi’s words, one must understand the context in which PM Modi was speaking. First, PM Modi spoke at length about the development that has taken place in Jammu and Kashmir. He then spoke about how there are charges that the Abrogation of Article 370 was against the tenets of the Constitution of India.

It was then that PM Modi quoted Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah to explain how it was their statements that were against the very tenets of the Constitution and the territorial integrity of India.

To understand this better, here are parts of what Mehbooba Mufti had said after the abrogation of Article 370.

Decision of J&K leadership to reject 2 nation theory in 1947 & align with India has backfired. Unilateral decision of GOI to scrap Article 370 is illegal & unconstitutional which will make India an occupational force in J&K. GOIs intentions are clear. They want the territory of J&K by terrorising it’s people. Those elements in J&K who rejected the constitution & sought resolution under the UN have been vindicated. GOIs intention is clear & sinister. They want to change the demography of the only Muslim majority state in India, disempower Muslims to the extent where they become second class citizens in their own state. What did J&K get for acceding to India? Another partition along communal lines? Our special status isn’t a gift bestowed upon us. Its a right guaranteed by the same parliament. A contract entered into by J&K leadership & India. Today the very same contract has been violated (sic).”

Further, Omar Abdullah had said that this decision will have ‘dangerous consequences’ almost threatening the Union of India. To understand what he meant by these threats, one must look at Omar Abdullah’s 2014 tweet-storm where he had elucidated exactly what these ‘consequences’ were.

Essentially, both Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti had spoken about breaking India up, inciting violence and supporting terrorists and separatists of Kashmir if Article 370 was abrogated. In fact, after being put under house arrest, Omar Abdullah had also raised questions on Kashmir acceding to India and said that the accession was based on Article 370, essentially hinting that now that Article 370 has been abrogated, there is no reason for Kashmir to be a part of India. In fact, Omar Abdullah’s statement post the abrogation of Article 370 and those of Rahul Gandhi, whose party is today shielding Omar Abdullah from the statements of PM Modi were quoted by Pakistan in their anti-India dossier to UNHRC.

Read: Pakistan’s anti-India dossier in UNHRC features quotes from Rahul Gandhi and Omar Abdullah: Reports

Now that these problematic and dangerous statements were mentioned by PM Modi in the parliament itself after time had wiped them clean from public memory, the lobby had to find a way to save face, as they always do, when Islamists are exposed. The Lutyens cabal then focussed on one word that was used by the Prime Minister as a ‘matter of speech’, in order to whitewash the threats issued by the Kashmir leaders only points to a deeper malaise within the Lutyens ecosystem.

Several propagandists took to Twitter to claim that PM Modi was lying and that he had, in fact, quoted a satire website Faking News and passed the word ‘Earthquake’ as an authentic quote by Omar Abdullah. The trope was started by propagandists like Swati Chaturvedi and to help the narrative reach further, self-proclaimed fact-checkers like AltNews who have been caught peddling lies often also chimed in along with Congress and other usual suspects.

What the propagandists were trying to do is shield Islamist leaders from Kashmir like Omar Abdullah and latch on to one word, while hiding the truly seditious statements that Abdullah and Mufti had given after the abrogation of Article 370.

Read: Supreme Court upholds the report of JK Juvenile Justice Committee, nails the lies spread by leftist media over ‘detention of children in Kashmir’

The chorus would have been funny if not tragic. ‘will cause earthquakes’ is a popular figure of speech and even their favourite Rahul Gandhi had used it. PM Modi simply paraphrased it. Just that it happened to have been used on Faking News too, doesn’t mean he quoted Faking News. Basically, PM Modi used a figure of speech to paraphrase whatever was said by the Kashmir politicians.

Read: The Global Ummah speaketh on Kashmir: US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, her sketchy past, and her Islamist views

While the manner in which PM Modi paraphrased Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti did not alter the meaning of their sentiment, the same cannot be said about the cabal. In fact, paraphrasing and interpreting wrongly the meaning of PM Modi says has been the favourite strawman tactic used by the cabal for a long time with the media happily playing along, just as it is now.

Going back to point from where the vilification of Prime Minister Modi started – The Gujarat riots of 2002. Times of India had reported that speaking about the riots, PM Modi had said that ‘every action has a reaction’, essentially meaning that the burning of Hindus has been answered with the riots. However, Modi had never said this. After TOI reported this blatant lie, several op-eds by media foot soldiers were written demonising Modi.

Later, in 2013, before the 2014 General Elections, media had misquoted Modi yet again. They reported that Modi had compared Muslims to dogs by saying that even if a dog died, he would have felt bad. In reality, it was again only a metaphor used. Modi had essentially said that we are human beings who feel bad even if an animal dies, the Muslims and Hindus who died were human beings and he is pained by their death.

The most recent was PM Modi’s “15 Lac” comment during the run-up to 2014 elections. PM Modi had said, to quantify the amount of black money stashed abroad that if we ever got all the black money back to India, there was so much, that every person could get 15 Lac out of it. That statement was twisted to report that PM Modi had promised the people of India that he would credit Rs 15 Lac to every citizen’s account. The politicians used that to call Modi a liar and the media simply played along, throwing every ethic of journalism to the wind.

This is just the tip of the iceberg in the saga of how politicians and their pens for hire have misquoted and maligned PM Modi ever since his Gujarat days, that how ‘project vilify Modi’ is still very much in progress.

One has to wonder why the lobby is so desperate at this point in time. Perhaps because with the anti-CAA riots and Muslim mobs wreaking havoc, the carefully crafted narrative of how the only problem that ails India is that of “Hindutva” is falling apart, or because of Shaheen Bagh and how the media aided the Islamists there have exposed the true face of the cabal. Either way, the desperation of the pro-Islamist lobby is rather evident if they had to cling on to such strawman arguments to vilify the Prime Minister.

How AAP govt lied to a Washington Post columnist to get a positive news report in the US publication

In 2016, columnist Vivek Wadhwa wrote an article in Washington Post wrote titled “What New Delhi’s free clinics can teach America about fixing its broken health care system” where he heaped praises on AAP’s Mohalla clinic. The article quoted Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain claiming that he came up with the idea of a ‘mohalla clinic’ as he “believed that not only will they reduce suffering, but also overall costs — because people will get timely care and not be a burden on hospital emergency rooms.” The article concludes with a line which suggests America should also build mohalla clinics in its cities.

This 2016 article was on Thursday used by Aam Aadmi Party in its election campaign ad.

At around 20 seconds in the video, it talks about how Washington Post had hailed Mohalla Clinics.

Washington Post article in AAP ad

On Friday, Wadhwa took to Twitter say that he was conned by Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and shared a link which levelled allegations of scam and corruption in the mohalla clinics.

He said that while he usually does not comment on Indian politics, AAP’s mohalla clinic lies were so ‘over the top’ that it made him sick. The report by Wadhwa, which was based on lies told to him by Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain, was used by AAP in its election campaign to boast about mohalla clinics.

Wadhwa shared a February 2017 DNA article which reported how vigilance probe unearthed a scam wherein doctors allegedly inflated the number of patients they treat. As per the DNA report, doctors in Delhi’s Mohalla Clinics used to ‘treat’ as many as 533 patients in four hours in one day. This would be roughly 1 patient treated every 36 seconds.

It was alleged that the doctors at Mohalla clinics would make false entries of patients, thereby making as high as Rs 4 lakh per month income. As per the report, vigilance officers the doctors were also allegedly duping the patients by giving them ‘useless’ medication to make them come back.

Trump Junior shares meme video of Donald Trump dancing to song ‘Malhari’ from movie Bajirao Mastani

On Thursday, US President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr., shared a meme video wherein the American president Donald Trump could be seen dancing to the song “Malhar” from the 2015 movie, Bajirao Mastani. Trump’s face was superimposed on Ranveer Singh’s face and the President could be breaking into dance moves.

The caption read, “We won. You lost. Get the hell over it.”

Through this 47-second long video, Donald Trump Jr. took a jibe at the Democratic Party after it failed to impeach his father at the US senate. The video also carried the message, “Trump entering White House after being found innocent and fully exonerated forever”.

The video in question first surfaced on Twitter in February 2019, post which it went viral in India. It is now back in the limelight after the President’s eldest son shared it on his official Facebook page.

The 73-year-old Donald Trump became the 3rd President to be impeached by the US House of Representatives. When the impeachment trial took place at the US Senate, Trump was backed by fellow Republicans on Wednesday. As such, he will now stay in office for the remainder of his term. The Presidential elections are scheduled for November 2020, beginning with the Iowa Caucuses.

Trump was facing impeachment charges on two Articles – obstruction of Congress and abuse of power. Democratic party member and the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi was not impressed after Trump was acquitted. She suffered a meltdown during the President’s State of the Union Speech.

Officer associated with Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia caught red-handed taking Rs 2 lakh as bribe

On Thursday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended Gopal Krishna Madhav, a Delhi government officer, over bribery charges. He was allegedly an OSD with the Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia.

Madhav was arrested late in the night around 11:30 pm after a trap was set. He was caught red-handed, accepting a bribe to the tune of ₹2 lacs. He was taken straightaway to the CBI Headquarters. Reportedly, Madhav’s arrest was in connection with a case related to the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The senior DANICS (Delhi, Andaman Nicobar Island Civil Services) officer was reportedly serving as the OSD (Officer on Special Duty) to Manish Sisodia since 2015. Madhav was earlier associated with the Department of Trade and Taxes of the Delhi Government.

The CBI is now carrying out an investigation but has refused to share additional information. It is also reported that so far no involvement of Sisodia has been confirmed in this case.

The arrest has come barely two days before the Delhi elections, scheduled on 8 February.

Shaheen Bagh mob robbed, assaulted and tried to convert Gunja Kapoor into Islam for wearing a burkha, wanted to use as hostage to negotiate with the BJP

Two days after Political analyst Gunja Kapoor was heckled by Shaheen Bagh ‘protestors’, shocking revelations have been made, exposing the real intentions of the mob behind the heckling of Gunja Kapoor.

Defence analyst Abhijit Iyer Mitra, who spoke to Gunja Kapoor after the incident took to Twitter to narrate the sequence of events that unfurled at Shaheen Bagh on Wednesday on behalf of the victim.

On Wednesday, Political analyst Gunja Kapoor was heckled by women at Shaheen Bagh for allegedly ‘taking videos’. She was allegedly wearing a ‘burqa’ and the objection was raised over her trying to cover the protests while wearing one.

Later, the mob had got angry at Gunja for wearing a burqa while attending the protest. They had objected against Gunja wearing a burqa and trying to shoot videos in Shaheen Bagh.

Narrating the incident, Abhijit Iyer Mitra said that the reality at Shaheen Bagh incident on Thursday was much scarier than what was shown on TV. According to Mitra, political analyst Gunja was not only mugged but also physically assaulted by the mob that was present at the Shaheen Bagh protest site. A woman named Upasana Sharma was allegedly behind the attack on Gunja Kapoor.

Mitra stated that Gunja Kapoor who was at the Shaheen Bagh was just interviewing some of the women protestors at Shaheen Bagh and as per Kapoor’s revelation, no one in the mob seemed to know the details of CAA, NRC or NPR. Suddenly one of the protestors, allegedly named Upasana who claimed to be an ‘organiser’ started interrogating Gunja.

“Upasana knew exactly what to ask and since Gunja had not rehearsed her story got caught easily. Upasana and this creature below DRAGGED HER BY HER HAIR(!!!) to the 1st aid camp,” Abhijit Iyer Mitra narrated the horror perpetrated against Gunja Kapoor.

The most shocking revelation was that the Upasana had reportedly seized Gunja Kapoor’s phone, Aadhar card and also snatched away cash from Kapoor’s wallet. Soon, another lady protestor started heckling, claiming that she had disgraced the Burkha by wearing it to the protest site.

Read: Swara Bhaskar says that political analyst Gunja Kapoor should thank Shaheen Bagh for not lynching her

Mitra further said that a mob began to assemble at the site and forced Gunja Kapoor to chant Islamic slogans like Kalima (la illah illallah) and demanded her to become “one of them” so that they could ‘accept’ her. They also repeatedly slapped, shoved and puller her hair, said Mitra.

“They tried to convert her. She refused,” said Iyer Mitra on behalf of victim Gunja Kapoor.

According to Mitra, Upasana wanted this situation to develop into a hostage crisis. Another person agreed with Upsana and wanted the BJP to negotiate her release. The Shaheen Bagh police could not arrest the protestors as it could have turned violent. However, Sarita Vihar police visited the protest site at Shaheen Bagh.

The organisers refused to hand her over to Sarita Vihar police. They allegedly wanted to hold Gunja as a hostage and lay down conditions for handing her over. “It was a clear cut case of kidnapping and hostage-taking,” reported Abhijit Mitra.

The police who tried to push the protestors to rescue Gunja Kapoor was reportedly pushed back. The mob let the police only after they threatened to lathi-charge on the protestors, said Mitra who reported Gunja’s side of the story. Mitra said that Gunja distinctly remembered a protestor saying that “if they lathi charge that’ll be the end of the protest”. The mob then ended the hostage situation, added Mitra.

According to Abhijit Mitra, there were repeated physical assaults on Gunja in addition to the theft of phone and cash and ID card. “All the above crimes are punishable by years in jail and not to mention how her phone and Aadhar will be misused,” tweeted Defence analyst Mitra.

Mitra also provided proofs to strengthen his argument of how mob at Shaheen Bagh not only kidnapped Gunja Kapoor but also kept her as a hostage.

Shaheen Bagh protests are lately turning into a security threat as repeated instances of violence are being reported from the site. The mobs at the Shaheen Bagh, after attacking journalists like Deepak Chaurasia and Doordarshan reporters, had heckled senior journalist Bhupendra Chaubey during a live-show.

The anti-CAA protests, especially at Shaheen Bagh, which began as a peaceful protest has now crossed all the boundaries as it has not only turned violent but has now become another typical left-wing event where anti-India and Hinduphobic slogans are being openly chanted.

Christian Missionaries use the Coronavirus outbreak to “bring The Gospel” and convert people in Wuhan

0

China is reeling under a pandemic as the coronavirus outbreak has brought the Wuhan and many other cities to a standstill. As per official stats, over 500 people have died and several thousand are infected. However, unofficial sources claim that the casualties may as well run in thousands as the Chinese authorities are under-reporting it.

Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak and many other cities are under complete lockdown. Flights have been cancelled and businesses have been brought to a halt as the country faces one of the worst pandemics in recent decades.

Amidst all the chaos and confusion, one can imagine the mental condition of the people who have been living or are stranded in Wuhan. However, for some, the chaos, deaths and fear mean an ‘opportunity’.

Christian organisations are claiming that they are using this outbreak to “bring the gospel” to the people in China.

In a video shared by an organisation called Himalaya Global, Christian missionaries are seen distributing face masks to the people in Wuhan, along with leaflets of ‘the Gospel’. A voice in the background speaks, “because men have sinned against God, we all live under God’s angry judgement.” The voice proclaims, “God’s only begotten son, Jesus Christ will save all the sinners from the eternal destruction”.

As per a report in ‘Faithwire’, the masks that are being used to lure people into receiving “The Gospel” have a two-way benefit, not only they stop the spread of the infection from one person to another, they also save the missionaries from being identified by the authorities. The site claims that Christians often face persecution from the Chinese government.

Read: No researcher from Wuhan involved in study: NCBS slams The Hindu for spreading misinformation amidst the Coronavirus crisis

The report quotes Lucille Talusan, a CBN News Asia Correspondent, as saying, “Since the people of Wuhan are facing fearful uncertainty in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, some have become ‘more receptive’ to Christ at this time. There are Christians, a ministry in Wuhan, they go out to the streets. They’re very courageous. They give out masks and they say that they are Christians and they share the love of Christ and point to Jesus to bring hope to them and their families and the whole of China, this is really a breakthrough”.

The videos of the Christian missionaries spreading the gospel are being widely shared by supporters and organisations to garner support for their work.

Another report in Mission Network News quotes John Pudaite, the CEO of Bibles For The World, as saying, “We continue to feel that it (the coronavirus outbreak) should not deter us from our commitment to provide God’s word there and to get the Gospel to the people of China.”

Pudaite claims that every year, his organisation distributes over 300,000 Gospels of John and about 15-20,000 Bibles. His message for the Christians in China is to keep praying and hope that they can play a ‘positive role’ and use this ‘opportunity’ to “share God’s word and the message of peace and love that Jesus Christ brings.” The report ends with the lines “Pray that in the midst of this epidemic, Christ would build his kingdom in China.”

Watch: Here is how Rahul Gandhi used a 10-year-old during his Delhi election rally for petty anti-Modi propaganda

The Delhi elections are on the 8th of February and politicians have tried every trick in their book in this hotly battled elections. From AAP and Congress fuelling Islamist Shaheen Bagh protests to Congress and AAP leaders being arrested for anti-CAA riots, the Delhi elections have seen to worst lows in politics. Following this trajectory, Rahul Gandhi passionately spoke to a 10-year-old, using her for petty anti-Modi propganda, about the deteriorating ‘mahaul’ in the country over the past 5 years during his Old Delhi election rally recently.

While speaking in Old Delhi during an election rally, Rahul Gandhi started to regurgitate his old trope of how Prime Minister Modi has ruined the ‘mahaul’ of the country. He essentially said that earlier, the peace and love that was felt all around us in India, is not felt anymore.

Then, something strange happened. Rahul Gandhi turned to a 10-year-old who was sitting in the front rows (presumably along with her parents) and asked her if she agreed with his propaganda.

He turns to the kid and first asks, twice, ‘Dekha aapne?’. Then, Rahul Gandhi asks the girl her age, to which, she says she is 10-years-old. He then asks her if she has noticed how in the past 5 years how the ‘mahaul’ has become bad. Rahul Gandhi then says to the 10-year-old kid, “dekha na? Jo pehele mood hua karta tha, jo pehele shanti thi, jo bhaichara tha, wo gayab ho gaya na? Gayab ho gay?”. Then, he nods affirmatively.

Essentially, Rahul Gandhi during his election rally assumed that the child was capable of understanding how “well” Congress ruled the country when she was a 4 or 5-year-old and now, at the ripe old age of 10, she is capable of understanding how terribly PM Modi is governing the country by apparently ruining the ‘mood’ of the nation. She is also supposed to understand how there is no ‘brotherhood’ or ‘peace’ anymore.

Read: Meet the Congress member who couldn’t hide his laughter when PM Modi called Rahul Gandhi a tubelight

That Congress and its leaders would use children for their propaganda comes as no surprise. In 2019, a video surfaced on Social Media where Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who chickened out of battling PM Modi in Varanasi, was seen watching in amusement as little kids, coached by Congress workers, were abusing Prime Minister Modi. The kids, who were seemingly coached by Congress functionaries chanted ‘chowkidaar chor hai’ as Priyanka Gandhi watched on in amusement.

Read: Watch: Congress makes kids abuse Narendra Modi in presence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Further in the video, one could see the children abuse further. The kinds in unison chanted, ‘neem ka patta kadvah hai, Narendra Modi bha**wa hai”. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra smiled sheepishly and reluctantly, as a token gesture tells the children that this is a bad slogan and they should focus on the good slogans. After this, the kids go back to chanting ‘chowkidaar chor hai’ and ‘Rahul Gandhi zindabad’.

What Rahul Gandhi has done now points to a dangerous trend of using children for petty politics that has emerged recently. One must recall that two infants have already lost their lives due to their parents’ negligence while protesting at Shaheen Bagh.

Several videos of children being taught to make seditious statements have also emerged from the protests led by Islamists. While most people are concerned about Islamists using children for their propaganda, Rahul Gandhi seems to have resorted to doing exactly the same.
